Changed a detail about Pokemon canon in this chapter, but nothing major.

1 YEAR LATER

-x- Shoto -x-

Shoto hit a growth spurt a few months ago and was much taller than before. He was taller than Touya had been at his age, but not as tall as Natsuo. With the size change, the abilities were much easier to control. He didn't think that size would affect it, he'd assumed it would be puberty. But it wasn't, and here he was laying in the air, levitating just above it and looking at the sky. The air was the softest cushion imaginable, somehow.

Then there was the ability he'd mastered with electricity. He could charge any device just by holding it. He could use a few psychic moved he'd learned from Hero. He wasn't interested in ice powers because he didn't want to steal his siblings' quirks, even if they didn't use them much. Fire was still a no go, as he hated it.

But he was able to levitate, output any electricity he wanted, barely move things with his mind. He could ran fast, but only in very short bursts. He was still able to heal himself and others with Celebi's powers. Shooting bursts of water from his hands was something Mitty loved. So, he was gaining a small arsonal. It was taking a long time to be able to use them, but with the growth spurt, he felt he'd learn faster.

Even though there was a time limit to this, coming closer every year, his power and it's slow build taught him quite a bit of patience. He knew things would come with time, and there was nothing to do about it. Rei thought it was a wonderful thing to have, patience. She and the family besides Touya knew nothing of his hidden quest.

It would stay that way.

"Shoto, Izuku is here," Rei called. Shoto dropped down gracefully, and walked inside to greet his friend. He called him for a reason.

"What's up?"

"Come camping with me and Touya," Shoto said. "It'll be really fun." Izuku recognized the circumstances with only Shoto and Touya going. It was obvious to him that this was not just camping. He agreed instantly. Shoto smiled and the two hurried up the stairs and into Shoto's room. He got the book out. Rei had seen it, but to everyone who knew nothing. It was just a boring story book. It had none of the information to anybody but the two brothers and Izuku.

He asked, "Which are we going after first?"

"Any flying pokemon are a no so far. I can't fly, and they're fast. Arceus recommended either Suicune or Latias. They're the friendliest ones. I want to meet Suicune. The gains I could get from him aren't big, but it's a good way to test how much I can handle right now," Shoto explained. "There's a portal there in Okinawa, and that will take us to where he is. At least where he has been."

"So, we don't know its exact location?" Shoto shook his head. "Sounds fun!" Shoto smiled.

The next day, the three of them had camping supplies in backpacks, and Rei drove them to the right camping area. The portal was near there, but still required a long and arduous hike. There was also the possibility of the location changing, so they had to hurry. Touya was fully on board with the crazy train by now. He was always there for Shoto. And he loved learning alongside Shoto.

Looking at the book, they made sure it was still in the area. Instead of setting up at the camp site, they headed across the street, and began their hike. Envy and Hono were there. Mitty never came on hikes because, despite her being a grass type pokemon, she hated outdoors. So she didn't like going on adventures.

They headed up the mountainous area. Shoto asked pokemon if they knew where the portal was, but he never got a good answer. Never. They were vague, and none guided him there. It was up to luck and navigating skills. Shoto being able to levitate over the area made him able to find places they should avoid terrain wise.

He couldn't levitate long enough or far enough to be an effective type of transportation. But it helped. It took all day to get there, the sun setting and the three thinking they'd need to make camp before it came into view. It was shimmery, a deep pinkish red. Shoto had never seen one of them before. He found Celebi near the portal, not at it.

They walked up to it, and peeked inside. It showed a different setting on the other side. "We sure we wanna do this? Finding a portal back could be hard," Touya said, thought he didn't sound discouraged at all.

"We'll do it," Shoto said firmly, but still in a calm voice. He was sure of himself. They took a collective deep breath, and joined hands before walking inside. Instantly, the temperature dropped. Not bad enough to be uncomfortable or dangerous. Touya and Hono acted as space heaters on their way around.

The portal stayed there, and they walked away. Now was the hard part. They had to go hunting. Looking for tracks, asking pokemon around. Trying to seek out Suicune and not scare him. Shoto would be the one approaching, like with Celebi. But they were there as support when it didn't come to actually interacting with the legendary.

Shoto was excited, he wanted to meet it. He wanted to meet more legendaries, and maybe not piss them off or annoy them. Even if Suicune ran from him, he would not chase and he would not complain. Pokemon were people to him, just not human people. He sure wouldn't want to be chased.

The three made camp, as it was late. Shoto set up an anti lure tool that kept pokemon away from an area by making a nasty smell. But it was only outside the tents, so Envy and Hono wouldn't be uncomfortable by the smell unless they were outside. The three stayed in one tent, big enough for all three.

"My phone has no signal, and I have no idea where the hell we are," Touya said. "Sho, anything in the book?"

"Looks like we're either in northern China or Mongolia," Shoto said.

"Fuck, this is insane," Touya said. "You're lucky I love you or I wouldn't do this shit."

"Liar, you have fun." Touya smirked.

"I guess so. We should get to sleep, be up in the morning and eat." They had enough provisions for five days if they ate intuitively. They planned it out, and could only hope nobody tried to call them back home or go to the camping site and looking for them. They sure as hell would not find the three, even if police got involved in the search.

In the morning, they ate some snacks, found a source of fresh water, and then packed up the tent and supplies. Touya was far taller than either of the kids. Only ten years older. Five more years until whatever he existed for would come.

The easy way to track Suicune was by the source of water. If they ran into dirty water, that was not a place the pokemon had gone to. They ran into plenty of wild pokemon that were not used to humans being there. The three were stared at, and Shoto was unable to openly communicate with them.

That made it a bit more uneasy. They just watched, even the ones that were clearly predators. Though they were in the northern forests of China, where humans didn't live. Many of them had probably never seen a human before. But they had two strong pokemon with them, a jolteon and flareon.

"This is kind of scary," Izuku said.

"Oh, we can't go back now," Shoto said.

"No! It's a fun scary, this is an adventure." His eyes were bright, and Shoto sighed in relief. He wanted Izuku to come with him. Even if he was quirkless and had no way to fight, he was Shoto's partner in crime. They'd been best friends six years, both neck deep in this mysterious adventure placed on top of Shoto's small, four year old shoulders. They walked all day along a very long river of pure, bright blue water. It even smelled good and drinking from it was refreshing. Even filtered or spring water did not have the same taste.

They had to camp one night and then continue in the morning. Touya was getting pissy about it, while Shoto and Izuku were patient, happy to explore. They would worry about getting back later. For now, they had to find Suicune. They weren't going back until they did that.

Having their pokemon be the ones to ask for information and then relay it to Shoto was the best route to go, and they ended up getting quite a bit of information that way. One point was what was great: they were getting closer to the den. Shoto didn't really want to encroach in its den, but he was tasked with this and wouldn't disappoint.

It was late afternoon, their legs hurting until Shoto brought them relief with Celebi's healing ability, when they finally came across the clear lake. We're here, Envy said. Can smell him over there. Smells different from most pokemon.

"Envy says we're near." They could see the den, across the lake and in the rock wall. Shoto swallowed. "Stay here."

"Shit, we don't get to see him, then?"

"I don't know." He took off his gear and heavy clothing. "The only way across is to swim. I'll be back," he said quietly, and got into the water. There were water type pokemon in there that swam away from him, even though they were curious and watched from a bit away. The water was so light that it felt he was flying. Like he was weightless.

When the water turned shallow, he walked up and approached the den. Hello? My name is Shoto.

No answer.

He walked closer, and peeked around the wood built like a bidoof dam. Hello? He didn't want to shout and scare him. But when Suicune was there, Shoto faltered. There was only one Suicune, yet there was a baby. He froze, looking at the baby Suicune. The adult ran at him, so he got down on his knees and bowed. I'm sorry I came into your home, I didn't know you had a baby.

The baby darted forward and right in Shoto's face, who was barely breathing at this point. Suicune was supposed to be the most peaceful of the three dog legendaries, but that might not matter if it had a baby with it.

What are you?

I'm a human who was given a gift from Arceus. The pokemon god.

A human? How did you find this place? Things were calm, and Shoto did not feel actively in danger anymore.

Arceus gave me a map of all the portals of the legendary pokemon. I'm to find them and get a part of their abilities so I'm able to fight against an enemy of pokemon in the future. I'm really sorry I bothered you and your baby. We followed the trail of pure water for a few days before arriving.

Stand. My baby will eat your belongings if you stay down there. Shoto's heart was hammering by now. He stood up, still averting his gaze, wanting to seem as nonthreatening as possible. Though he had to be at least six feet tall, taller than Touya and taller than him by far. He finally looked up when he got right in his face. You met Celebi.

Yes. She gave me the ability to heal myself and others.

Who is Arceus?

It's a very long story.

Okay. What do I do for you to leave?

You can ask. I won't touch or bother either of you if you want me to go away. I only came here because I am tasked to. And I want to meet the legendaries. They're amazing and I want to make them know that not all humans are bad.

I do not hate humans. They can be a nuisance, but I am left alone here. If humans get lost and wander about, I help them leave the forest. What did you need?

I want to share your power. He was surprised when one of the tendrils coming from its tail, flowing like there was a breeze in the cave. One touched his hand, and he felt this hot, stinging feeling go through him before it was gone, and he felt fine. You can now purify dark things. Leave, now. It's feeding time.

Thank you, Shoto said with a bow. The baby whimpered at him leaving, but Suicune made a harsh bark noise, and the baby turned and followed him back through the cave with little snort-whimpers. He swam back to his brother and best friend, and he must have look in shock.

"Well? Was he there?"

"There was a baby, too."

"What? I thought there was only one."

"I thought he was gonna kill me when I saw the baby. But I got the power. I think, he said so." His knees were like jelly. Unlike with Celebi, Suicune was much larger than him and a carnivore. It had canine teeth it growled at him. Shoto could have so easily been attacked and he wouldn't have been angry. He went to a baby with a wild pokemon.

"What did they look like?" Izuku asked.

"Very pretty. Just like the art in the book." He looked around for any puddle, and found one with mud in it, separate from the lake. The lake and forest were full of curious wild pokemon. Shoto touched the puddle, though he had no clue what he should be doing. But when he thought to purify the water, it turned that clear blueish/teal color. He smiled and let out a sigh.

Touya said, "Mission accomplished. I wish I could have seen him."

"I think he would have attacked a normal human. I was able to talk to him, so I think that kept me safe. He was so pretty. I need to sit down." They plopped down and Touya got some water from the lake.

He said, "Hey, now we can always have this delicious water, can't we?" Izuku chuckled.

"He knew Celebi. I think that was also what made him not attack me. He could smell or sense Celebi on me somehow. I don't want to see Entei or Raikou. They'd kill me."

"You need others, right? Got plenty more before them," Touya mused, and split a granola bar in three for them. "Hope nobody is lookin' for us. Sho, it the portal still open?" He took the book out, and saw it was still there. He nodded. "Good. Let's go, we have quite a hike back down to the portal."

Izuku looked in awe of Shoto, and it made him feel nice. "What do you think?" Shoto asked the pretty silent Izuku. "About all this?"

"Even if I didn't get to see Suicune, this was really fun! It felt like a real adventure."

"It's an adventure until we get home. Let's get going." They walked back the way they came, easily following the pure water. Shoto was on a high. That was amazing. "We won't tell anyone that Suicune has a pup." They nodded, though Shoto didn't know who they'd tell that would even believe them.

Their way back down was much faster, and they only needed to camp one night and then were on their way. With Shoto being approved by the guardian of this area, the wild pokemon were much more curious. So many he'd never seen before. He didn't dare touch them. He couldn't speak with them, and respected their space, even if they got up in theirs.

Envy and Hono loved the trip. They alerted them first when they found the portal, making yips and howls. The three saw on the other side what they left from, and walked through, back to Japan. "We made it!" Izuku cheered. "That was amazing! That was so fun!"

"Gotta agree with that. Way better than camping at some camp site," Touya grinned. "Let's get down, hopefully there's no search party out there." When they got down the mountain carefully, Touya got service again, and called their mother, who was not frantic on the other end, thankfully. "Hey, we're done camping, can you come get us?"

Rei agreed, and they waited at the camp site, all of them lost in their thoughts. How many more left? How many was he brave enough to face? How many could he be lucky with? He just met actual wild pokemon that he could not communicate with. That complicated things, perhaps. Having Envy and Hono as translators had worked just fine, though. And Shoto wasn't planning on going anywhere without Envy as his partner.

If he wasn't going to Entei and Raikou, that left many others, but most were flying type. Harder to reach. Infinitely harder to reach. If he wanted some serious power, he could go for Ho-oh, but he didn't know if he could handle that yet. He was sure he'd have a meeting with Arceus in the Star Room that night.

When Rei picked them up, she asked, "How was it?"

"Interesting," all three said at the same time.

"Oh? What was interesting about it?"

"Wild pokemon," Shoto stated. "It was… fun."

"Hmm. I'm glad you three had fun." Izuku was dropped off at home, and he gave Shoto a big smile, who smiled and nodded back. They headed back home, Shoto so lost in the future. It really was a fun experience. When they got home, both brothers took showers, and then stuffed themselves on the food that the family had while they were gone.

Touya smiled at Shoto. "Invite me again next time, okay?" Shoto smiled back and nodded.

He did indeed have a Star Room meeting that night.

"You did a spectacular job. I was not aware a pup had bee born. It does not happen often. Once every few hundred years."

"I'm glad I saw it, even if it was kind of scary when the adult was aggressive. But I tried to be respectful and make myself seem as small as possible. I was scared… but I also didn't think I'd die. Why couldn't I talk with the wild pokemon, there? I could only communicate through Envy."

"You can talk to pokemon, but are still human. They had no idea how to speak with you. They'd never been around humans. The majority of all current living pokemon have never come into contact with humans." Shoto nodded.

He asked, "Who next?" Arceus seemed pleased.

-x- Izuku -x-

"What if I could solve climate change? If I can take all the legendaries, involving water and sky, what's stopping me from mixing them? I can at least help clean polluted water, right?" Shoto was feeling very talkative in Izuku's room, laying on his bed and tossing a rubber ball up and down. "Purifying drinking water and lakes and stuff could really benefit the environment."

"You're such an over achiever."

"After whatever I have to do in my teen years, I want to be able to do something good. Cleaning the planet isn't really a conventional hero thing to do, but if I can, I will," Shoto replied. "Something only I can do. And I'm sure the pokemon will be glad I'm using their power to make their lives better." His eyes and voice were bright.

He was bright like the sun sometimes. "You can do whatever you want to." He sounded sad. Shoto looked at him and lost his smile, seeing Izuku's sad expression. "You'll leave me behind eventually. I was useless on that trip to find Suicune. I can't do anything to help, I couldn't even bring Mitty."

"You were helpful to me as support. Besides, Touya barely used his quirk at all."

"But he used it. I'm just so useless. I really want to be a hero, and here you are going to be a hero to pokemon and humans. I can't compare," he sighed. Shoto let out a heavy sigh, and Izuku flushed in shame. "I'm sorry."

"I talked to Arceus about it. I asked him if you could get powers. He said no." Izuku's face fell. "He can't do that. But he did say that some quirks can be passed down. He doesn't really have any specifics about it since he doesn't pay the most to humans. But maybe some day you'll get a quirk passed down to you, and you can be a hero, too."

Izuku looked at his hands. "I'm not that lucky, Shoto."

"Maybe not. But being upset about it isn't gonna make you feel any better. I think you're amazing even without any quirk. I'm only amazing because of my gift."

"That's not true. You're an amazing person."

"Why does the same not apply to you, then?"

"I just… I don't have the same reach. I barely get along with people."

"I don't get along well with people either. I'm a pushover, I let bullies walk all over me. I let them spit on me, I let them insult me. How does that make me an amazing person? Just cause I'm nice?" he asked quietly, sounding deeply insecure. Izuku looked to him, seeing his sad face, and he felt bad for tanking the mood. He'd been so happy a few moments ago and Izuku ruined it.

Izuku looked out the window at the clouds. Before he could speak, Shoto said, "I'm only amazing because of Arceus. He's the one that's done everything. I wasn't chosen because of what person I am, I was just picked at random at birth. Everything amazing of me has nothing to do with me."

"Does that make you sad?"

"It's just nice that I feel I have a purpose. But once it's over, what will be left of me? What will my purpose be?"

"I don't know…"

"We're both incredible, but also complete losers." Izuku snickered, he had to agree in some degree.

"Want some more yummy water?" Shoto asked, reaching his hand out. Izuku gave him his water bottle, and it glowed that gorgeous color, and he drank it. That water tasted better than any flavored drink he'd ever tasted. Shoto smiled lightly when he made the satisfied sound. They put on a movie, leaving behind the heavy subjects.

-x- Shoto -x-

He hated being useless. Shoto hated not doing anything productive. He was waiting to ask Arceus what to do next, but to fill the space, he decided to actually use the skill he got. The power he got had to be used for more than just enhancing the taste of tap water. Touya drove to the docks of lake Biwa, listening to music with Shoto in the passenger's seat.

"You sure you can handle it? This lake is massive."

"I can try," Shoto replied. He sighed. "Izuku thinks he's a loser compared to me. How do I make him not feel that way?"

"You can't. Can't make anyone feel anything. You're a good friend, I'm not sure what could make him think he's not a loser."

"That's not what I wanted to hear. You're older, you should know this."

"Shoto, I have two friends and they're both complete weirdos with fucked quirks. Sorry, but I can't give friendship advice," he said. "I mean, he has a reason to be jealous. You're both quirkless, but you were the one chosen for this shit, whether it was by chance or not. You already asked Arceus and he has nothing to give anymore. Izuku needs to deal with his own problems, nobody can change his view of himself."

It really wasn't what Shoto wanted to hear, but he knew it was the truth. Izuku had self esteem issues and Shoto was sure he wasn't a big help as he got more and more used to his powers. Got stronger, his body able to handle more stress. Shoto was still constantly worried over the future and what he didn't know. He was blindly following a god into battle. All he could do was trust him.

But it wasn't like Izuku had anything he could train to get stronger with. It was just tagging along on Shoto's pokemon adventures. He had no idea how to fix it. But he wanted to, he wanted Izuku to see himself as an equal, not completely inferior. Izuku is really nice. I like him… why can't he be happy? Envy asked sadly.

He doesn't think he has anything to look forward to. I have this goal I'm heading towards. I don't know what it is, but it's something. He has… nothing. I don't know how to help him and it's hard. The jolteon gave a sad whine from the backseat.

"Alright, we're here. It's pretty late, let's get to work lil-bro." Shoto nodded and left the car. Touya parked it and they went to the docks with a small boat ready for them. They'd reserved it already, and got passed the lines to their ready made boat. Everyone wanted to see the sunset out on the water.

Envy jumped up after them, and Touya got it going. "Need to get far from people so they don't see," Touya said. Shoto nodded. The boat was kicked into high gear, and went speeding across the sunkissed water. Shoto was glad he could swim now or he'd be terrified. He saw a ton of trash in the water. He didn't know if the purification would extend to getting garbage out in this big a scale, but it had cleaned up all the plastic he put in the bathtub when full just to see.

When they got out in the middle of nowhere, the boat stopped, Touya cutting the engine. "Work your magic," he said. Shoto took a deep breath and sunk both arms into the water. It was reflecting the sunset a bit. Some pokefish came to inspect but then left. He closed his eyes, and imagined how he had with the water before now. A large blue circle appeared around the boat, and extended out as far as they could see.

The ten year old was pouring sweat, brows furrowed and eyes scrunched until he couldn't anymore. He slumped over the side, breathing heavily. Touya whistled. He pulled Shoto back ono the boat. "How are you gonna handle the crazier legendaries if you can't purify a lot of water?" Shoto stuck his tongue out at him at the teasing. They headed back, and saw that the clear water had extended out.

The trash was gone, and he could see pokemon beneath the boat just fine. None were poisoned by the clean water. They went back to the boathouse and then left. Those who were in the lines were all on their respective boats, distracted from the mystery clean water. Shoto napped on the way back, but on the drive along the lake to go home, the blue water could be seen. Touya was smiling to himself about it.

After all, it was something Shoto chose to do, not something Arceus said he had to/should.

-x-

Shoto was surprised when he was invited by Enji to his agency. Shoto hadn't seen him in years, supervised or unsupervised. He'd just dropped off the face of the earth contact wise, but that hadn't really been a bad thing or something that affected the Todoroki family. The patriarch didn't seem to care about them anymore.

It was fine, only Fuyumi was mildly hurt. So Shoto was surprised when he was offered a tour of the place. Touya brought him so Rei didn't need to. She was on speaking terms with him, as they needed to be to figure out child support. But their relationship was not abusive, more just transactional.

Enji was still single and with no family. He didn't have anyone else to mess with their lives. But Shoto decided to give it a shot, or at least find out the reason for this. He was curious. Touya parked in the parking lot behind the agency. The nineteen year old was going to wait outside, and seemed cranky.

Shoto opened the back door for Envy to come out. You've never met him before, but he is tall and intimidating. Will you be alright?

I'm better now. Promise! Shoto nodded, and they entered the building through the lobby. He checked on Envy and saw she was okay, not freaking out. He noticed immediately something that he would personally change. There were no pokemon there. Nothing. It seemed lifeless without them. They walked further inside. Shoto went to the desk, and the woman there asked, "What can I help you with?"

"I'm here to see Endeavor."

"Name?"

"Todoroki Shoto."

"I see. Pokemon are not allowed in here."

"Then that's unfortunate. Tell Endeavor I will meet him outside," Shoto said, and turned on his heel and the two waited outside for him. "No way I'm going in without you. You're my partner." Are you sure? "Yeah. My whole power is pokemon, of course I'm not going somewhere that doesn't allow them."

Enji did come out, looking confused as to why he was meeting Shoto outside. "Shoto, why did you leave the building?"

"They wouldn't let Envy come in, too," the ten year old replied. "I'm not going inside without Envy." Endeavor sighed, and agreed, and they walked inside. You doing okay? Not too much?

He seems grumpy.

He is.

They went into his office, and Shoto sat across from his desk. There was so much empty space in there is was crazy. A single desk and nothing else. Though, he vaguely remembered their old home was very minimalist and he had no real bedroom stuff. Now their home was overflowing with personality. Pictures and drawings on the wall, little figures on the bookshelves and above the fire place. Lots of magnets on the fridge, various things the children had all wanted around.

Envy sat beside him. "Why did you name your pokemon Envy?"

"That was her name when I got her at the shelter. Why did you want to meet me?" he asked.

"I want to talk about your future. You said you wanted to be a hero, right?" Shoto nodded. "What kind of hero?"

"Um… I want to help pokemon and humans," Shoto said kind of awkwardly. He would never give the real reason he'd wanted to be a hero in the beginning. Because of Arceus. People would think he was insane if he ever told them the truth. At least it wasn't like the truth getting out would compromise or harm anyone but himself. Arceus was a literal god, some cranky or confused humans would do nothing to him.

But it might affect Shoto's performance in whatever big thing was going to happen.

"What kind of things would you do to help them?" Endeavor asked from behind his desk.

"I don't know yet." It was true, he still didn't know. "If I collect a lot of powers, I can do a lot of things-"

"What do you mean?"

"What? What do you mean?" Shoto asked, confused of what the question was about. Endeavor asked him what his quirk was. Oh, he didn't know the full thing. "I can talk to them and learn their abilities. It takes a long time to develop them, so I can only do a few things," he explained.

"Like what? What can you do right now?" he asked. Shoto wasn't feeling any bad vibes, he sounded very professional.

Shoto listed his abilities, not mentioning the ones he'd gotten from Celebi and Suicune. "Will you show me?" Shoto nodded, and let himself levitate for a bit, dropping down. Then he shot water from one hand and let out electricity in the other, creating a small explosion with it. "Uh… what else?" he scratched his head. "I can't really use it yet, but I'm getting better at vine whip and some psychic stuff. There's some others I've been working on, but they're not very easy to get."

Endeavor had a pale face. "Where on earth did you get this quirk?" A god. Shoto shrugged. "Are you able to use any fire moves?"

"No, I don't use fire. Or ice. I don't want to steal Touya or their quirks. Besides, I don't like fire anyways."

"When you become a hero, come work at my agency."

"No thanks," Shoto said simply. "I don't want to be a hero that just fights villains, that's what you do here. And a place with no pokemon is miserable to be for me." Endeavor looked frustrated, and then pointed to his own eye, asking what happened. Wow, it had been a long time since they saw each other if he hadn't seen the burn scar yet. "Boiling water fell on my face."

"A burn scar?" Endeavor asked, sounding strangely disgusted. Shoto nodded, his face a blank mask.

Your dad is a jerk, isn't he?

Yeah. I wouldn't want to work with him anyways. This was a mistake. I was just curious. But I know I don't want to work here.

"Shoto, what is your main drive to be a hero?"

"I… I don't know," he lied. Endeavor narrowed his eyes. "I have my own ideals and I'm not gonna share them with a stranger, no offense. This was a mistake. Envy, let's go." He turned around, and walked out.

"Shoto," but he kept walking. Once he was out of the office, the boy and his jolteon ran out and back to the car. Touya unlocked the door and he got in the passenger's seat.

"Well?"

"He's a stick in the mud. Pokemon aren't even allowed in his agency. He wanted me to work for him when I told him about my power more. I told him no, and I wasn't gonna go into detail with a stranger. Can we go get slurpees?" Shoto asked. Touya snorted, but was pleased with Shoto's words and actions. So, they went to get some slurpees, and then went home.
