ACxOCU Ch 25. Unaverage Love.
(It's the next weekend and Chris is getting ready for his date with Amy.)
"I don't know how to thank you Menthis you really came through." Says Chris adjusting his shirt collar in the mirror.
"No problem man, luckily I remembered your bet." Replies Menthis smugly.
"Yeah about that I don't remember ever telling you though." Replies Chris.
"Yeah I just like to see it as coincidental luck." Says Menthis.
"What does that even mean?" Asks Chris, "Aw nevermind probably best to not think that far into I guess." He says disregarding his question.
"Yeppers." Says Menthis.
"How do I look?" Asks Chris walking out.
"Like your dad does on Sunday." Replies Menthis briefly looking at him.
"That's not funny, I was being serious." Says Chris getting annoyed at Menthis's unhelpfulness.
"So was I." Replies Menthis.
"You're just fucking with me I don't look like my dad." Says Chris looking back in the mirror, "Woah I guess you're right."
"Told you." Says Menthis when there's a knock on the door.
"Get that Menthis." Says Chris from the bathroom.
"Yeah yeah." Says Menthis getting up and walking towards the door.
(Menthis let's Amy in who is followed in by Sarah.)
"Why aren't you ready?" Asks Sarah to Menthis.
"I've been waiting for Chris's dad to get out of the bathroom." Replies Menthis heading towards the back room.
"What the hell does that mean?" Asks Sarah to Amy who just shrugs.
"H-hi Amy." Stammers Chris walking out into the living room.
"I think I get the joke." Sarah whispers to Amy.
"Hey Chris!" Says Amy walking up and hugging Chris, making him blush, "I can't wait to go on this double date with you guys." Says Amy she then nudges Sarah to get her to say something.
"Oh…yeah…yippee." Sarah says obviously unenthused.
"Y'all ready to do this." Says Menthis stepping out dressed in a novelty tuxedo shirt and jeans.
"Well aren't you dressed to impress?" Sarah remarks dryly.
"I, try." Replies Menthis with a curtsy which makes Sarah smile slightly but she turns away to hide it, "Alright leggo." Menthis says pointing at the door.
(It then shows them going to random places.)
Stop 1 Arcade.
(They all go in and it shows them playing games. Chris wins a prize for Amy and gives her it when Menthis notices Sarah looking slightly sad so he goes to try his hand at the game and wins a giant stuffed bear then he tries to give her it which she takes with a slight smile.)
Stop 2 Black Dolphin Beach.
(It shows them walking down the shore as they listen to the black dolphins talk when Chris grabs Amy's hand then feeling out of place Menthis tries to do the same but Sarah just walks ahead.)
"Did you see that, man?" Asks the first Black Dolphin.
"Haha yeah she snubbed his ass." Says the second Black Dolphin.
"How much do you want to bet they hook up by the end of the night?" Asks the first Black Dolphin.
"I'll take some of that action." Laughs the second Black Dolphin.
Stop 3 The Clam's Pearl Club.
(They get in, get their drinks then sit down and enjoy the music.)
(The music in the club begins to play Classic by The Knocks.)

"I love this song!" Exclaims Amy grabbing Chris by the arm and leading him to the dance floor.
It was a summer time, that summer high.
Oh what a masterpiece!
(Menthis begins singing along and looks at Sarah who just rolls her eyes.)

Like apple pie, caught in your energy.
(Menthis gets up and looks at Sarah and extends his hand out towards her, she just looks at him straight in the eyes and he winks at her making her blush.)
The future came to me, I see!
(She grabs his hand and follows him to the dance floor.)

(Menthis begins dancing with Sarah then meets her gaze making her face turn cherry red.)

"I love you." Sarah says .
(Menthis leans forward and they kiss but when they are done they look up and see Chris and Amy looking on in awe.)
"Ahhh!" Screams Amy in happiness running up to Sarah and hugging her.
Later when they get home.
(Chris and Menthis are sitting on the couch the girls have already left.)
"Wow…so you and Sarah." Says Chris still shocked by what happened.
"Yeah she actually doesn't seem that bad." Says Menthis with a smile.
"Try explaining that to Meg and Eddie." Chris says with a nervous laugh.
"People can change it just takes time." Replies Menthis with renewed optimism.
"But it's Sarah, there's more times she's sabotaged relationships than I can count on my 8 fingers." Replies Chris.
"Just give her a chance I'm willing to." Replies Menthis with a smile.
"I hope you're actually right about this, this time." Replies Chris, still unsure about the whole situation.
"Don't worry I have a good feeling about this." Says Menthis as he and Chris head to bed.
