Sorry for the delay. I had a strep throat after my birthday and took amoxicillin pills for my strep throat when it gave me an allergic skin reaction known as amoxicillin rash. So far I'm getting better and no longer itchy but now I have to help my dog who has an inflammatory on her knee and she's unable to walk normally. I just wish life can give me peace and luck.

(Sonic's POV)

The next morning, Shadow, Silver, and I went to a place filled with horses so that we can practice horse riding like a prince rescuing a princess. I may not be much of a rider but I do like speed from a horse running like a wild horse.

"Here we are, boys. You know I love running and do you know what it comes to running?" I said as we entered the stables.

"A horse running?" Silver guessed.

"Yes but also becoming knights when we got horses as our rides, running like the wind," I said.

"But to get a horse, a horse needs to like you first." Shadow said and one nearly sneezed in his face, "Agh! Snort somewhere else! Not on me!"

I nearly burst laughing at this but didn't so Shadow wouldn't get mad.

"It's no wonder girls call them ponies in a girlish way. They are pretty in a way for a horse." Silver said.

"Except smaller," I replied.

"Yeah right. They think unicorns are prettier than regular horsies" Shadow scoffed and tried to find a horse that is black like his fur color.

"Is that so?" I went to find my horse.

"Remember Cream being way too girly?" Shadow reminded me.

"Well, she's the youngest of the girls. She likes everything sweet and cute." I said.

"We boys like toughness and justice. Remember that before you turn into a girl." Shadow chose his horse who is also grumpy like him. It just gave the same look like him and snorted, "I already found mine." Silver stood near his white horse.

I found one that is grey with blue eyes and his name is Rapido, a Spanish word for quick or fast, I think.

"Um, hola?" I said to my horse and he neighed happily at me and I handed him an apple to eat.

"Good boy" I petted Rapido's forehead and I got on my horse as we walked out of the stables and into the horse track field to see if how well these horses are in walking and running.

"Ready guys?" I asked Shadow and Silver.

"Ready." They both said.

"Then let's do it! Hiya!" I hit the reins and my horse neighed and galloped around the track field with a speed of 50 mph.

"YEEEEEHAAAW!" I cried out loudly in joy.

Silver and Shadow soon caught up but my horse was faster than their horses.

"Ride like hell, guys! Feel the wind!" I said.

Rapido ran even faster as Silver and Shadow caught up. My horse sure knows about speed as I do, let's see how fast he can run.

"Okay, Rapido! Run like the wind like the princess needs to be rescued." I said to my horse.

Rapido ran even faster at my command. Oh, he can understand my English? I thought he understands Spanish but I guess they just gave him a name that means fast. The others tried to catch up but my horse was really fast.

"Go boy go!" I cheered.

Rapido ran so fast he left a dirt trail in the tracks and I held my reins tight so I won't fall off, "WOOOOOOHOOO!" The wind blew in our faces as he ran.

This horse likes to run as I do. Looks like I found an animal that is a fan of speed. Eventually, we had to stop so that my horse can take a breather.

I jumped off of my horse, "Good job Rapido." I petted his head.

"It seems you and that horse like speed." Silver said, getting off his horse.

"Yup, Rápido was probably from the wild that just loves to run like the wind as I do," I said, petting my horse's snout.

"Maybe he's a horse version of you," Shadow said.

"Maybe. That black horse of yours looks grumpy like you, Shads." I teased him.

"Stop calling me that. My horse just likes to fight another horse for the competition the same way I like to compete with you." Shadow scoffed.

"Maybe we should go for a tournament with lances," I suggested.

"Maybe, but for now, let's stay in one piece this time. I don't want your pink girlfriend to kill me." Shadow said.

"She's not my girlfriend, Shadow. But very good point." I said as I brought my horse back in his stables.

"She and you just been reunited for a few days," Shadow said.

"Yeah, so?" I said and removed the reins from my horse and locked the stable door.

"It's obvious she likes you," Shadow replied and goes to the school.

"She likes me in her unique way. Yeah, she's kind and cute like a Japanese blossom tree but she and I are friends." I followed him but Shadow just ignored me as we headed back in with Silver.

"Maybe something will happen when her beauty attracts you to fall in love with her. Mostly every guy in this school wants her but she rejects them." Silver said.

"What?!" I reacted at what he said, "No way in hell am I letting any male hedgehog touch my lady!" I growled angrily.

Silver and Shadow stopped at what I just said, "What was that, Romeo?" Shadow chuckled at my reaction.

"I...we...nothing" I blushed at what I just said before.

"Never mind." Silver said with a nervous smile.

"You don't mind if I have Amy?" Shadow smirked at me.

I growled intensely as I pinned him near the fence aggressively, "Don't touch my lady!" I was so intense at him.

"Gotcha, Romeo boy. You do have feelings for her." Shadow chuckled.

"Calm down, Sonic. He's just getting in your head." Silver begged.

"Right, sorry." I apologized.

"You know me," Shadow replied.

"That likes to see me pissed off?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yup." He nodded.

(Amy's POV)

Here I am at the gym getting the girls to practice the cheerleading moves again to be prepared for the football game against the Zeti High School this week.

"Alright girls. Are you ready?!" I asked my group.

"Heck yes!" They all did the ready position before pulling the handclasp move.

"Good now let's get started! Start with the T-motion!" I pulled the T-motion which they repeated after, then we did the broken T.

"Touchdown and V!" I shouted and we did the said moves.

"Repeat!" We did them again, "Right and Left punch!"

"Backflips go!" We all did diagonal backflips.

"Good job!" I gave them a thumbs up.

"Thanks!" They all bowed.

"Now the pyramid finale!" I said to them.

The girls got up on each other's shoulders and I was standing on the top, "Focus and balance, girls." I said.

"We got this Amy." Blaze said.

"Maintain your balance and do not wobble," Rouge suggested.

"Of course." Nebula nodded.

We all maintain our balance to not wobble or fall for at least 8 seconds. Standing on someone's shoulder is like we got no grip on it with no opposing thumbs on our feet. I held out my pom-poms while we cheered out the Pegasus.

"FOR THE PEGASUS!" We cheered out.

Soon we took a break by laying down on the floor since we worked so hard on cheerleading. I stared at the timeline year of school history on the walls.

"Do you think our high school will win?" Blaze asked while panting.

"I sure hope. From what Sonic told me his team in the previous school always won." I said.

"Seems Sally encouraged him," Rouge said.

"Yup, since she needed him to take care of our school from those annoying life destroyers," I said.

"Yeah, I hate that Zeena." Blaze said.

"Captain of cheerleading and likes to steal makeup," Rouge grumbled.

"Right." Blaze nodded.

"Let's hope they don't bring too much hell to this school." Nebula said.

"I sure hope not," I said.

"They are the worst high school team. Too much hell, too much destruction, and too much annoyance." Rouge said.

"But they cheat," I said.

"But with Sonic back, he can give us strategies. You guys did say he's good with strategies, right?" Nebula asked.

"Exactly. With him and Tails we got the brains while the Zetes is the brawn." I said.

"Yeah. Well, I hope Tails and Sonic do some good plan." Cream said.
