Chapter Eighteen

~Shina's POV~

"You guys are going to have to study for your final exams." Shina called as she entered the family room to see the three cousins lounging in their regular clothes on the puffy couches. Kana was on her tablet drawing while James was playing on his Nintendo Switch E. Yuto was flicking through channels but turned off the TV when Shina came in. "You can't just be lounging all afternoon."

"We are studying!" James called. "I mean, not right now obviously but we formed a study group with our classmates and today we're hosting the study group. They should be here in about ten minutes." Shina froze as that sentence registered.

"Are you sure you should have invited them over? And why didn't you tell me about this sooner guys? I'm not ready to meet a bunch of judgmental teenagers who are aspiring to be heroes."

"We told you last week, and you said it was fine." Kana stated looking up at her. "What changed?" Shina blinked trying to think back.

"Was I possibly doing something when you told me this?" She asked slowly feeling dread crawl up her back.

"Well, I mean you were compiling the data from our internships." Yuto said slowly, exchanging looks with his cousins who all nodded to support him. "We did ask though and you said it was fine. You told Claude to have Maria and her maid army to clean and prepare the house and make sure Chef Wolfe had prepared the snacks."

"I did?" Shina asked in confusion.

"Yes miss you did." Claude answered as he stepped into the family room. "You are young, your memory should be better than this." Shina scowled.

"Excuse me Mr. Hoity Toity but I have multiple things on my mind, something was bound to slip." Shina turned back to the three cousins who were starting to pack up their things. And by this she meant they were just tossing their tech to the side and getting up lazily. "And you three couldn't have reminded me?"

"I mean, we've never had to before. Are you sure you're okay?" James asked. "Is it your old age that's getting to you?" Shina felt a tick of anger at the cat boy's audacity to say that to her face!

"Oy!" Shina kicked up a random pillow and grabbed it before she launched it at James' head faster than he could duck. "I'm only 23!"

"You said you forgot!" James exclaimed loudly. "And OW!"

"You shouldn't have called her old though." Kana snickered at James misfortune.

"She is!" Shina growled, resisting the urge to body slam the brat and teach him who was boss.

"Ahem." Claude interrupted the upcoming argument. "Pardon the intrusion, but Jean Von just greeted someone by the name of Tenya Iida and company?"

"That's our study group and classmates." Kana answered. "They have permission to enter the grounds." Claude nodded as he pulled out his walkie-talkie to communicate this to let Jean Von know they were okay to enter. Shina sighed as she pulled herself together.

"Alright then, I guess since I already informed Claude and had him prepare the snacks, everything else should be covered." Shina gave the three kids a stern look. "No one goes upstairs or into the basement. You are all to use the dining room to study for as long as it takes. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Sure."

"O-tay!"

"I must be insane to allow this to happen. If you need me I'll be in my study. I want to finish compiling the info for Shiggy and get that to him tonight. I also need to check the reports for the Konohagakure and Kumogakure Orphanages. I barely finished Sunagakure, Kirigakure and Iwagakure yesterday and that took forever to go through." Shina sighed tiredly.

"How are they doing? No issues?" Kana asked as her brothers exited the room to greet their classmates. Shina was internally glad at Kana's interest in helping the unfortunate. Her kindness outweighed any greed she may have from their suddenly obtaining riches through illegal activities. Now if only she could convince the boys to follow in their steps, at least a little.

"Surprisingly no." Shina answered. "It helps that everyone in the Orphanages is vetted thoroughly and have full background checks done. It also helps that most of them are committed individuals whose missions are to make sure the kids in their care grow up better than they did."

"I told you it was a good idea to hire them." Kana said. Shina nodded.

"I may need your ideas on another Orphanage I'm looking to set up here in Japan." Kana brightened. "It'll be smaller as I want to focus more on making this a woman's shelter/orphanage kind of deal. It'll be a prototype to possibly opening more in the world."

"Sure, what are you going to call this one? You've already used up the hidden villages names." Shina shrugged.

"I'll let you come up with this one."

"Hashira." Kana answered instantly. "A bit on the nose and probably a bit of a misnomer if taken out of context, but I like the meaning." Shina nodded.

"I like it." Shina stated with a smile before she turned her head to the side, looking out the door and down the hall. Kana leaned forward to poke her head out to see Iida entering the mansion. "Your friends are here. You should get to studying." Kana nodded as she pulled back.

"Wish us luck. I'm about to battle the math demons." Shina snickered.

"May the odds be ever in your favor." Shina watched Kana walk down the hall to greet their classmates. Shina only stayed long enough to watch Kana direct everyone to the dining room before she walked through the family room and entered the second hallway where her office was just down the way from. She wasn't going to interrupt the kids and their studying. She basically had all their classmates and their families info committed to memory. If she stuck her nose where it didn't belong, it would come off as suspicious to those who were sharper than the average student. It was best to leave the kids to their own devices for now.

~Kana's POV~

Two weeks of non-stop studying and Kana felt like her brain was on the point of turning to mush from everything they'd had to go over. Language arts, English and Science hadn't been that bad but math, that dreaded enemy math had almost done her in. She'd gone 6 hours of studying that dreaded subject only to end up a zombie by the end of it. Claude had thankfully called Shina to take care of her when she'd overdone it that time but after that, her faithful and loyal butler had made out an itinerary for studying that she was dumb enough to not have thought of earlier.

"Uh, Kana are you okay?" Kirishima asked. Kana groaned pitifully at him, feeling the heavy cloud of depression sprinkle tears of frustration on her.

"Give her a moment Kiri," Yuto spoke up for her as he patted her head. Kana couldn't find it in her to smack his hand away. "She's dumber than Denki is after he lets loose his 3 million voltage."

"Hey! That's mean." Denki's voice called out. Kana tuned them out and plopped down at a random desk while Denki and Kirishima argued. Kana meanwhile thought ahead to the day of testing that she was going to have to undergo.

"Oi! Get out of my seat!" Kana jerked when a hand slammed down in front of her. She yelped as she fell off the chair and landed ungracefully on her side.

"Oww!" Kana glared pitifully at Bakugou who glared at her. "Don't be mean Bakagou!" His face twitched.

"What did you call me?"

"Bakagou!" Kana called ignoring Bakugou's rage. "James and I were talking about it the other night… or maybe it was last week? It was sometime in between one of the studying breaks for science? Anyway, we started talking about nicknames and we gave everyone a nickname before we were pulled back into studying. It was horrible."

"What's my name?" Denki asked helping Kana up. Kana blinked, thinking before she shrugged.

"We couldn't find one better than Pikachu. Everything James came up with was insulting." Denki wilted.

"He's still mad about the laser incident huh?" Kana nodded before she looked at Bakugou who was glaring at them both for ignoring him.

"Yuto wanted to call you Wigasus because of the way your hair got 'tamed' thanks to Best Jeanist."

"That was a good laugh." Kirishima sighed while Denki snickered.

"I'll give your ribs a good exercise if you keep laughing about that." Bakugou growled at the boys.

"Calm down Bakubro, I'm sure Kana got that name outvoted." Kirishima looked at Kana hopefully. Kana coughed delicately.

"I mean… I would have… eventually." Kana cleared her throat as Bakugou started to growl. "Calm down! We agreed to not use that one or any others."

"Tch, not like I care anyway." Bakugou growled as he turned to face the front. Kana hummed, not buying his façade. She'd debated on many other nicknames but, per Japanese customs, anything involving the first name usage was strictly kept to close friends and family. She didn't want to cross that boundary but if he kept pushing it, she was going to shock him by calling him by his first name. He'd probably just start a fight so she should probably hold off on that until she was sure she could take him.

"You ready for the test?" Kirishima asked pulling Kana out of her thoughts. At the reminder of the testing, Kana groaned and shook her head in despair.

"Let's begin the practical exam!" Kana flexed her hands as she stood tall in front of her teachers awaiting whatever the practical exam was going to be. The written tests from this morning had been a nightmare but practical exams where she could destroy some robots? This was going to be a cake walk.

"It is, of course, possible you can fail these practical exams. I suggest you don't if you want to attend the summer training camp." Kana perked up at this. She and her cousin brothers didn't want to attend the summer camp, it being in the middle of the woods and all. She'd rather not go anywhere near the woods or the middle of nowhere.

"This is Aizawa," James sighed, no doubt he'd felt her hope brimming. "Don't get excited, he's probably tricking us again like at the beginning of the year." Kana deflated.

"I don't like you right now." She murmured.

"Knowing you guys, you probably asked around and you may think you have a vague idea of the final exam…"

"It's a robot rumble!" Denki yelled in excitement.

"Fireworks! Curry! Truth or Dare!" Mina cried out while she did a little wiggle. Kana caught the look on James face and blinked at him curiously. He was looking a bit too softly at Mina, like he was enjoying how excited she was. Kinda like the way Shina half-smiled at them when they were enjoying themselves.

"You okay?" Kana asked. James cleared his face and nodded.

"Uh, why is Principle Nezu in Aizawa's scarf?" Kana dropped the subject to listen as Principle Nezu explained the situation had changed.

"From now on, we'll focus on battles against flesh and blood opponents. It is critical that our teaching simulates practical experience as closely as possible." Kana suddenly felt a flash of dread reappear in her as Nezu spoke the next words. "As such you students will be pairing up and fighting one of the teachers here!"

"I was afraid he was going to say that." Kana stated.

"We got this." James murmured. "We took on Pro's before." He whispered this last bit so low only Kana heard it.

"Your pairings and assigned teachers have already been assigned. Your battle moves, your grades, your friendships have all been considered and without further ado…"

"First is Todoroki and Yaoyorozu against me," Aizawa grinned.

"Tough luck there." James winced.

Next Midoriya is with Bakugou and your opponent-" Aizawa was cut off as a large and familiar sight caught every one of the students attention.

"Is with me," All Might announced. "You'll have to work together to win. So come at me you two."

"Now that, is the worse luck one could get." Kana stated.

"Ten stages have been prepared and all battles will begin simultaneously! The test guidelines will be explained by your teaching opponent. None of the areas are outside school grounds. Without any further delay, let's get started."

"Ashido and Kaminari, you are both my opponents." Principle Nezu chirped. Kana blinked in surprise.

"You?" Denki cried in surprise. "But you're the principle!"

"I feel gipped!" Mina wailed dramatically. Kana felt pity for Mina and she headed over to pat Mina's head.

"Good luck Mina. I wish you all the best luck."

"Thank you." Mina cried hugging Kana back. Kana swallowed her instinct to throw Mina off as she didn't like physical affections much. It was one of the customs that she liked about Japan. Kana figured it wouldn't look good if she responded by body slamming Mina, James would probably have something to say if the look he'd been giving her was any indication of his fondness. "There, there." Kana patted Mina's head, careful of not hitting her horns.

"Uraraka and James, you are my opponents." Thirteen called.

"Jirou and Koda, we got our battle this a-way!" Present Mic called.

"Asui. Tokoyami. Come with me." Ectoplasm spoke up. Kana was really hoping to not get anyone too bad.

"Sero and Kana!" Midnight called. "You are my opponents."

"Somehow I feel good about me passing this. Although I'm not sure I want to pass if it means I go to a forest for the summer." Kana muttered.

"Shoji and Hagakure." Snipe called out. "I am your opponent. We fight at noon."

"Kirishima and Sato!" Cementoss called, waving at them to indicate he was their opponent.

"Iida and Yuto!" Power Loader called. "Your mine."

"Each group will be taken to their respective training grounds to fight their opponent. Everyone, if you form into your teams we will transport to the battlegrounds shortly!" Principle Nezu called out. Kana looked around for Sero but didn't see him at first. James came up to her with Yuto.

"Well other than the fact that Midoriya and Bakugou are dead meat, how are you feeling about fighting your teaching opponent?" James asked. Kana couldn't help the snort at the image of Midoriya being pummeled by All Might. Everyone knew Midoriya and All Might were basically 'father and son'.

"Please, Midoriya's All Might's favorite child, he'll live." Yuto stated. "Me on the other hand? I feel a bit awkward; I've never really interacted with Iida."

"He's a bit straightforward, kind of like James when he wants to win." Kana stated. She'd trained with him a lot over the last couple of weeks. "Just make sure you keep your calm and give some tips if you notice any flaws in his plans." Yuto nodded.

"Okay." Kana looked at James.

"How are you feeling? I don't think you've ever fought alongside Uraraka before." James nodded, turning his head. Kana followed his stare to see Uraraka talking with Midoriya and Iida.

"I haven't fought alongside her but, I'm sure we can figure out a plan to fight Thirteen. I'm just going to have to be more active than usual."

"You'll be fine." Yuto stated. "Thirteen is still a hero so if you get sucked towards her, chances are she'll cancel her Quirk. What about you Kana? You nervous about fighting Thirteen?"

"Well-" Kana was interrupted by Midnight's voice calling her and Sero.

"Let's go kittens, we got a battleground to play on." Kana nodded to her cousin brothers before she jogged over to Sero and Midnight. They stood at the entrance to a bus to get transported to the training ground.

"Can I switch with someone?" Kana asked curiously before she boarded.

"No, let's go." Midnight snapped her whip making Kana let out a squeak that had her covering her mouth to keep hidden. She followed Midnight and Sero onto the bus. "Take a seat and I'll explain more when we get to the battleground." Kana and Sero took a seat in the middle of the bus, facing Midnight who nodded at them. They both fell silent as the bus ride started and drove for ten minutes before coming to a stop.

"We're here!" Midnight called. "Let's get inside so I can explain the rest of the exam." Kana and Sero followed Midnight out into the training ground. Kana squinted at the brightness of the area but one thing that became obvious to her, was that they were going to have to focus on her Quirk because there were no buildings for Sero to swing from. There weren't very many places to hide either. "There is a 30-minute time limit. Your objective is to get these on me," Midnight held up a pair of handcuffs. "Or you can escape the arena before the 30 mins are up."

"We can really escape?" Kana asked serious. "Without any repercussions?"

"Yes. Although I want you both to remember, this is a simulation, I want you to think of me as a villain that you may or may not one day face. Take this seriously and show me what you can do before you decide to just run for the exit." Kana took that instruction seriously. It wasn't a maybe in her case, as there was a chance that there would come a day, when their cover was blown or revealed, that she and her brothers would have to fight the UA teachers or another Pro. This simulation training was very helpful to plan those outcomes.

"I suggest you both take cover now!" Midnight called as she started to use her whip. "Or not! I really would like to see just how much punishment you could take. It'll be so fun to torture you and make you squeal."

"Thanks, but my sister is constantly making my life a nightmare." Kana retorted as she threw down smoke bombs. She grabbed Sero and pulled him back into a portal that she'd opened behind them. Sero coughed against the smoke but followed Kana to the top of the nearest hill that Kana could see. "We need a plan to fight her. I mean I can come up with a few but they would require her to be distracted."

"We got this Kana, don't worry. I can tie her up with my tape if you can help figure out a way to mummify her?" Sero said. Kana looked up to see Sero smiling reassuringly at her. Her silence must have made him think she was anxious or worried. Kana nodded at him.

"I think I have a way but I'm a bit worried about you smelling her perfume before we can wrap her up." Kana stated matter-of-factly. "If Midnight gets your attention by using her smell on you? I'm worried you're gonna fail." Sero nodded.

"Yeah, I've thought about that. I can count on you to have my back right?" He smiled at her. Kana nodded. "Good because I think I have an idea." Sero explained his plan to Kana in detail and took her suggestions when he hit a snag. Of course, she did have to ask,

"What if she does manage to get you with her Quirk?" Sero winked.

"Then I want you to do what you did to Bakugou in the Sports Festival. Troll her until you make a run for the exit." Kana nodded.

"Okay I can do that." Sero chuckled.

"You're not gonna fight me on that?"

"Sorry Sero, you're a good friend and all but, I have a feeling I'm going to be going to the forest for training either way. Knowing Aizawa, he's gonna make it a nightmare if I fail this and I'm not gonna risk that -ish."

"He could have pity on us." Kana gave Sero a look that made him sweat drop. "Yeah I didn't buy that either."

"Did you think you could hide from me forever?" Midnight's voice called, sickly sweet. Kana and Sero tensed before they turned to look down the other side of the hill. Midnight was coming towards them with her whip out and ready to lash at them. "Get ready to scream."

"Let's go Kana!" Sero called. Kana nodded and she opened a portal directly above them. Ocean water came crashing through making Midnight jump backwards as Kana discreetly opened another portal that Sero jumped through. Kana closed the portal dumping massive amounts of ocean water in front of her as she saw the hillside was muddy with water running in rivulets.

"A little mess isn't going to stop me." Midnight warned from where she'd slipped in the mud, getting her suit dirty. Her hands were muddy from where she must have stopped her body from landing in the mud. Sero's tape suddenly wrapped around Midnight's right arm and yanked. Midnight landed further in the mud as Sero pulled her body to the side, attempting to get Midnight muddier. Kana grunted as she jumped forward to slide down the hillside in the mud. Midnight got up, yanking her arm towards her in an attempt to pull Sero closer to her.

Kana opened a portal behind Midnight allowing Sero to release his tape. Midnight fell back, her foot slid into the portal and a short scream had her slipping into the portal as Sero launched a ball of tape at her chest, pushing her into the portal that opened up fifty feet above them.

"Get ready Sero!" Kana called as she opened a portal where Midnight would fall through. This portal had Midnight flying through it to the top of the hill above them.

"Kana catch!" Kana reached up and grabbed the dual tape ropes that Sero formed. They waited as Midnight slid right into the tape. They let go of the tape only for Kana to open another portal and have Midnight faceplant into the mud at the bottom of the hill. Kana then opened another portal for her and Sero to appear next to Midnight where they grabbed the tape and flipped Midnight. Kana was quick to handcuff Midnight's wrists.

"See?" Kana grinned at Sero. "I told you Scooby-Doo was educational."

"KANA AND SERO'S TEAM HAS COMPLETED THE EXAM! 15 MINUTES LEFT!" Came the surprisingly loud announcement from what sounded like Recovery Girl.

"I don't understand how or why that worked but… I can't complain much." Sero stated. "Let's get Midnight to some showers before she kills us for 'ruining' her hair and nails."

"Yeah right behind you." Kana opened another portal that would take them to the entrance of the training ground.

~Yuto's POV~

A loud boom went off that had Iida jumping to the side to get away from the debris that Power Loader was throwing around as he made yet another hole in their arena. Yuto felt Iida slow down and he used this chance to pull himself out of Iida's shadow to again try and plan their attack.

"I can't get closer to him. He's not making that mistake again." Iida panted when Yuto was half formed. "I don't have much room to run anymore. He's blowing holes all over with no pattern to his attack."

"Can you do one more Ricipro Burst?" Yuto asked.

"I can yes, but what will you do? You can't keep up with my shadow when I go that fast." Yuto nodded.

"Yes I know, but I'm not going to be going with you on this one." Yuto stated. "Keep his attention on you. I'm going to try and get closer to him from behind."

"Are your shadows anything like Tokoyami's Quirk? Won't direct sunlight make your shadows obsolete?" Iida asked again. He'd been worried about this from the start of the match. Yuto had been doing well so far thanks to all the shadows in the area and with Power Loader blowing holes everywhere with his equipment, that meant there were piles of dirt everywhere giving off shadows.

"Trust me on this Iida." Yuto smiled. "Him blowing holes everywhere worked in my favor." Iida seemed to think about it before he gave a firm nod.

"I will try and give you as much time as I can buy." Iida started up his thrusters again. Yuto pulled the rest of his body from Iida's shadow and waited as the faster boy took off from his side. Yuto took a deep breath before he peeked over the mound of dirt he was hiding behind to see Iida holding Power Loader's attention. Yuto melted into the shadows where everything was dark and cool compared to the bright heat of the day.

Yuto shifted through the shadows, trying to be as quick as possible as he darted from one shadow to the next. He needed to get to Power Loader's shadow before something happened that got Iida taken out. The familiar whispering of shades was starting to build letting Yuto know he was running out of time.

When he peeked up from the shadows, thankfully he was almost to Power Loader. Iida though looked to be in trouble as he was being surrounded by holes that he couldn't jump over without risking some form of injury. Yuto made one more movement through shadows before he felt Power Loader's shadow in his grasp. Yuto quickly paralyzed the teacher with his shadow tentacles wrapping the teacher's body. Yuto then had his head melt out of the shadows to shout at Iida,

"The handcuffs!" Iida didn't hesitate to slap the cuffs on Power Loader who tried to struggle against Yuto. The machinery jerking had Yuto trying to find any wires and safely disconnecting them from Power Loader as he wasn't strong enough to stop pure machine. He found a button on the side of Power Loaders helmet and pressed it. A hissing sound came before the arms of Power Loader's backpack lowered in defeat. The sound of handcuffs clicking had Yuto sighing in relief.

"You are under arrest villain." Iida proudly announced. Yuto let go of Power Loader, flopping on the ground. "Are you okay Yuto?"

"Yeah, I just realized, I'm going camping next week." Yuto felt the depression cloud overcome him. "I don't suppose if I had failed I would have been left here at UA?" He asked Power Loader.

"Nope. Aizawa is a certain kind of trickery." Power Loader chuckled. Yuto groaned.

"He's mean."

"IIDA AND YUTO'S TEAM HAS COMPLETED THE EXAM!"

~James POV~

"Any ideas?" Uraraka asked James as they hid behind a corner from Thirteen who was blocking the exit. James didn't particularly like the feeling of Thirteen's Quirk when they'd tried to rush at him headfirst before bowing out, so they had attempted to simply try and escape. If he'd been alone James was certain he could have gotten out relatively unscathed but with Uraraka alongside him that was out of the question.

"I have one but," James grimaced. "It involves a sacrifice." Uraraka gulped. "I'm not going to let you be sacrificed Uraraka, don't worry." Kana would murder him if he left her friend behind. Not that he would, he preferred to attack his enemies or arch-nemesis, one on one instead of going through a third party like most other villains. Not that he was allowed to think of himself as a villain. Although now that he thought about it, he wasn't quite sure how Kana and Uraraka were friends; it was like Raven and Starfire being friends. Kana hid it well, but her emo tendencies were plain for everyone else to see from how she always wore something emo/goth either on her bag or her uniform.

"James?" Uraraka called. James blinked.

"Oh sorry." Curse his short attention span. He shook his head and focused on thinking of a plan that would get them out of this. There weren't multiple exits to the arena otherwise they could have gone through that exit. They still had their handcuffs but getting close to Thirteen was practically impossible thanks to his Quirk. They could try to lure Thirteen into a trap though… "Uraraka, don't hate me but I have a plan."

"I won't hate you James." Urakaka, sweet innocent Uraraka stated.

"You may after this plan." James muttered before he gave Uraraka the plan. While unconventional, it was the only plan they had.

"You sure you don't want me to do this part?" Uraraka asked nervously. James shook his head.

"No, you don't have my Quirk. Just run through as fast as you can okay?" Uraraka nodded. James formed a Chaos Sphere in his hand and took a deep breath before he ran at the building in front of him. He used his Sphere and destroyed the base of the building, breaking through the walls to the building's interior. James then created another sphere before he crushed it to make his Chaos Claws. He slashed a good chunk of concrete and rubble from the building. He nodded at Uraraka who took a deep breath and then let out a shrill scream like she had been injured.

James held Uraraka Princess Style before he jumped as high as he could with her in his arms. Uraraka touched them both making them go weightless, floating through the air. This plan had been a bit of a cheap shot, but it worked as Thirteen came running around the corner to see the building half destroyed with a large pile of rubble and concrete piled up beside it. A scream came from the pile that had Thirteen running over to try and find them.

"Down." James stated and Uraraka released her Quirk on them allowing for James to use his own strength and speed to get them both to the ground. Another shrill scream came from the rubble, much clearer than it had been. A quick glance over his shoulder and James saw Thirteen had found his cell phone playing Uraraka's scream on a loop. "RUN!" He ordered and he and Uraraka bounded for the exit.

They crossed the finish line at the same time with a simple DING.

"JAMES AND URARAKA'S TEAM HAS COMPLETED THE EXAM! FIVE MINUTES LEFT!"

"Yes!" Uraraka cried out in joy. James grinned.

"I'm a bit sad we didn't just turn around and handcuff Thirteen." James sighed. "But that was a better and less volatile escape than I've ever done."

"That was a great plan James. I didn't know you were so good at deception." Uraraka commented. James shrugged.

"Some call it deception, I call it pranking."

~Shina's POV~

A ding from her phone alerted Shina to a text message. She pulled out her phone and saw two new texts from her kids.

'Passed final exams.' From Kana.

'Passed finals. So did James.' From Yuto. Shina gave a half-smile at the news and sent a response.

"Interesting news?" Shigaraki asked disparagingly from beside her. Shina shrugged, slipping her cellphone back into her pocket and picked up her drink. Shigaraki had been in a terrible mood the last few days due to the recruiting but today it was worse. It was like every little thing set him off. Not that she couldn't handle it, it was just like dealing with a child throwing a tantrum. She just needed to make sure he ate his snacks and took a nap.

"Our spies have passed their exams and are going to be going with the UA students to a special training camp this summer." She announced. "They should be going to the usual summer training camp in the woods near the Kiso Mountains."

"Excellent. Now all we have to do is finish recruiting." Shigaraki replied. "I'm tired of this already. Everyone that's been brought by hasn't been any better than those weaklings who invaded the USJ with us." Shina nodded slowly, choosing her words carefully.

"Be patient Shiggy. I'm sure one of the newbies can bring something to the table that we haven't seen or considered yet. Speaking of newbies, Giren has two more candidates he wants us to take a look at."

"Grr," Shigaraki growled in frustration. "Why don't you vet them? I don't want to deal with anyone else today." Shina nodded.

"If you want but don't be surprised if I accept them and they aren't up to your standards." The look he gave her would have frozen anyone else but, Shina merely raised an eyebrow and took a swig of her drink.

"Tch, you can be replaced you know." He threatened.

"I know." She stated simply. "But before you go off on a tangent, may I please remind you that this is your group. Not mine. One for All gave you this responsibility and if you want to half-ass it, by all means please do. If you want to accomplish your goals however, then we have two more candidates to see." Shigaraki growled in frustration. He got up and walked away from the bar.

"We can meet with them tomorrow. I'm tired right now. I'm going to play some video games."

"I'll let Giren know." Shina commented lightly as she pulled out her phone once again to message the bookie/shark/recruiting agent. Idly, Shina wondered what was up with Shigaraki.
