Thank you to everybody who read or reviewed the last conversation. You are all absolutely fabulous. Thank you for sticking with me so far during this journey. Again this chapter contains a lot of new material along with material repurposed from other sections.

Chapter 47: Black (Friday) morning

November 28, 2008, 1:45 AM MST

When Maria woke up this morning, she wasn't expecting to find herself in a holding cell with three other women that had the misfortune of being arrested on a holiday. Although it was technically Friday at this point. One woman in there got in a fistfight over the last Turkey at Specialty Foods of Albuquerque. Another woman was there for hitting her husband with a baseball bat after she caught him cheating on her with some little British girl who was not legal yet. Maria thinks her name is Tina or Tiara. That Maria could understand more than the turkey fistfight. Thankfully he was also arrested.

Because it was a holiday, Maria knew she would be lucky if she even got out this weekend at all. She was starting to think maybe beating the hell out of Lucy was a bad idea. It was so much fun at the time. But now she's been in here for hours when all she really wanted to do was be by Gabriella's side. When she was being loaded into the police car, Kim told her that Madison called Gabriella's old doctor, but she didn't know anything else.

When an officer came to get her, she was shocked. She was even more surprised when she saw Kim and Carolyn waiting for her. But then again, she knew from Troy that Kim was a very sweet person and was extremely generous.

"Exactly how did you manage to get me out on Thanksgiving?" Maria asked as they walked out of the building.

"It's almost 2 AM, so it's technically Friday already," Kim remarked, which just cause Carolyn to glare.

"The court system in Albuquerque is relatively small. If you work here as a lawyer long enough, you can figure out which judge to call on Thanksgiving and actually get results. Judge Saunders has a son and daughter with bipolar disorder. She was the one to call to get you out. She completely understands the situation and allowed us to post bail." Carolyn said as they walked toward a BMW in the parking lot.

"Judge Saunders said she would have kick Lucy's ass in your situation," Kim said with a smirk. "I've only been a mom for two years, but I feel like that's the universal mom reaction for actual moms." Unfortunately, she knows Kim and Troy didn't have actual moms. She wanted to hug them both.

"Definitely." Carolyn agreed. "In my case, it would have taken 20 cops to get me away from the bitch, even if one's my sister."

"You have other reasons, though, like the fact you are in love with her husband, and she cheated on him." Maria raised an eyebrow but said nothing. She knew that Carolyn had feelings for Jack for a while. Maria also knew that she was used as an alibi for Lucy's unknown whereabouts the year before. So the affair doesn't surprise her either.

"It's OK if you want to avenge your man. I want to kick Lucy's ass for what she put Troy through. I'm jealous of Gabriella because she actually hit the bitch. Even though Troy hates his mom right now, he still won't let me hit her. Stupid overprotective boyfriend. " Carolyn laughed at that.

"Troy's too pure for this world," Maria remarked. "It's nice to meet you in person, Kim. Troy has said all nice things." This is why she knew not to believe anything Lucy told her.

"I'm glad somebody likes me even though I triggered your son's breakup with your daughter. I'm sorry." Kim was actually genuinely apologetic.

"Considering they were only introduced to keep you two apart, I'm not that angry." Both women gave her a strange look.

"I'm not angry at you, but I'm still furious at Lucy." Maria clarified.

"We all are," Carolyn told her as Kim unlocked the car.

"Get in. We are here to take you to see Gabby." Kim told her.

"Where is Gabriella?" Maria asked.

"She's at Albuquerque Medical Center. Gabriella is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation," Carolyn answered her. Maria has never been more relieved in her life to hear her daughter was in the hospital.

"The doctor was able to talk her into going into the hospital?" Maria asked.

"Per Madison, Gabriella was already planning to check herself in even before she hit Lucy. She realized that she wasn't OK on the flight here. The universe smiled on us and put her next to Katrina, a.k.a. Jack's mom, the psychologist on the plane." That was miraculous. "Apparently, Gabriella hated her doctor at Stanford, and that was half the problem," Kim explained.

"What was the other half?" Carolyn asked as she put on her seatbelt.

"Mercedes," Kim answered.

"You know you didn't have to bail me out of jail," Maria told her.

"Yes, I did. None of this would have happened if my mom wasn't a heartless sociopath who enlisted Troy's mom's help in her devious scheme. Even though my mom is evil, my father brought me up to take care of my own messes. If nothing else, Troy still considers Gabriella a friend. Friends help each other when the world is falling apart." Maria stayed silent for the rest of the ride to the hospital because she wasn't sure how to respond.

Also, Kim's needling of Carolyn was just entertaining. Apparently, after finding out about Lucy selling out Troy for $1 million, Jack went to his BFF, and the inevitable happened. Well, almost because apparently somebody was interrupted by their future daughter-in-law's roommate. Maybe if she wasn't worried about Gabriella, she would've made some snarky comments. Those will have to wait until she sees her daughter.

It was a short walk from the car to the wing where Gabriella was. The nurse on call showed her to a private waiting area where Madison and Troy were waiting.

"I see they were able to bring you," Madison remarked with a yawn.

"I had no doubts. Chad's mom knows every lawyer in Albuquerque." Troy remarked.

"And most of the cops. Which was why we were able to get Gabriella out. Officially, Gabriella wasn't there." Carolyn explained.

"Aunt Mariah is looking the other way?" Troy asked.

"I may have briefed Mariah on some of what was happening at lunch this afternoon," Carolyn explained.

"How is Gabriella?" Maria asked.

"According to the last update from Dr. Suarez, she is sleeping. Which is a good sign, all things considered. She'll brief you in the morning." Madison explain. "I know this doesn't seem like the best outcome, but it could've been so much worse." Madison explained. Maria walked over and hugged her.

"Thank you for coming. Without you here, I think it could've gone a lot worse." Like what happened with Natalie.

"I did better this year than last year, so I'm happy with that." Maria knew that Madison was referring to her sister's suicide last year.

"I'm glad it went better this year too."

"Maria, I am so sorry that this happened. I should've realized what was happening, and I didn't. I just made it worse by breaking up with her." Troy was practically crying at this point.

"Troy, this wasn't your fault," Maria told the young man.

"My mom convince you to move to Albuquerque for the sole purpose of setting me up with Gabriella to keep me from Kim. It's my fault." Troy lamented again.

"It's not. You're not responsible for other people's choices. I had to learn that a long time ago." Maria explained.

"I'm so sorry that this happened," Troy said as Kim ran to him to wrap an arm around her fiancé.

"I'm going to disrupt this flagellation session because if Gabriella never came to Albuquerque, she would've never met Dr. Suarez. Who is apparently the only doctor that Gabriella has ever remotely trusted regarding her psychological health. Maybe things happen the way they need it to." Madison said. She had a point. Gabriella was floundering before in Cleveland, and apparently, she was floundering again at Stanford.

"Maybe you're right," Troy mumbled.

"Do you know when I'll be able to see Gabriella?" Maria really just wanted to hug her daughter right now.

"In the morning. Probably when Dr. Suarez gets in." Madison explained. That makes sense.

"We got you a room at the Garden Hotel across the street." Maria took the key card from Kim.

"OK, now that Maria is here, you are going home with your fiancé. I will get Maria to the hotel." Madison told Troy.

"I can stay." Troy offered.

"Go see your son. I promise I will be here in the morning." Maria told him before walking over to hug him.

"OK." Troy finally reluctantly agreed but not without Kimberly literally dragging Troy out of the room.

"I'll drive," Carolyn said as they approached the car. She could tell that she was more rested than either of the kids.

"That's OK," Kim said, but Carolyn just gave her the mom look.

"I feel like I got significantly more sleep than the two of you last night or rather yesterday.

"I hope that's the case," Troy remarked.

"It was. No matter what Lucy believes. I need divorce papers signed at least first." Carolyn explained.

"And yet you still are in love with my dad," Troy remarked. Carolyn is not surprised at all that he knows. Jack told her earlier. Actually, that's why they weren't around when Maria punched Lucy out. They may have walked in on Chad and Sharpay in Jack's current room doing semi-inappropriate things for a family Thanksgiving. Thankfully underwear was still on.

"It just kind of happened. But I don't think that had much of an effect on Jack's decision to end things. Things haven't been good for a while." Carolyn explained.

"No, that would be me." Troy lamented again.

"You will do a lot for your kids. Jack couldn't stay with somebody who hurt you. But what happened wasn't your fault."

"Yet, Lucy didn't care about me at all," Troy said darkly.

"I swore we already had the conversation about the difference between parents and egg donors/sperm donors. Lucy, Darby, Charles, and Zhēn are definitely the latter. I would like to be the former." Kim remarked.

"Jack texted me, and your child is sleeping in Ryan's old room, so I'll drive you to the house." Kim gave up at that point and handed her keys to Carolyn.

"Sharpay says we have a guestroom there reserved for us," Troy added.

"And Jack packed a bag for both of you when he dropped off his soon to be former mother-in-law at your house earlier," Carolyn added. "Not that she stayed there."

"That had to be a horrible car ride. Dad didn't get along with Nana Karen before this mess." Not at all. Jack was called a bastard or much worse at least six times per his email. Much worse was said about her.

"It's probably best that I don't tell you exactly what was in his text messages to me." Troy does not need more family drama tonight or rather this morning.

"It probably is."

"OK, it will probably make me completely look like a taxi driver, but you and Kim should just get in the back together. I think you need the physical contact." Carolyn suggested.

"Yes," Troy said as he dragged Kim in the back with him. "Do you think this would've happened if I didn't break up with Gabriella?" Troy asked as Carolyn made her way to the driver's seat.

"It would've happened one way or the other. And I think it would've been a lot worse if you two were together and we still slept with each other in Vegas." Kim answered.

"That would've been catastrophic."

"It's better that things ended before you began your relationship with Kim again. That's part of the reason why I moved to DC." Carolyn said as she started the car.

"What?" Kim asked.

"I already told Chad, so I might as well tell you." Carolyn sighed. "When I caught Charles with Tiffany last year, I went to Jack. Because he is my best friend, and I needed him."

"As you should," Troy remarked.

"He wanted to beat Charles to a bloody pulp."

"As he should," Kim answered this time.

"To keep that from happening, I kissed Jack," Carolyn confessed. She wasn't expecting to hear Kim laughing in the back.

"Chad is definitely your kid. I'm pretty sure he may have kissed Sharpay a few times to keep her from strangling Penelope. Actually, the school play's ending resulted from Chad trying to keep Sharpay from hitting Darby or Tiara. It was a near thing." Kim explained.

"After that happened, we acted like it didn't happen and never talked about it. I think it was another reason why I knew I couldn't stay because I did feel something. I didn't want to be Tiffany. As long as your father was with Lucy, it was best we had some physical distance." Carolyn explained.

"Even though you text each other more than me and Chad." Troy finally remarked from the back.

"Yes. The distance was good because it helped both of us get some clarity."

"And then you and my dad found out my mom was fucking a 26-year-old work colleague." Troy spat out bitterly. She could tell Troy was hurt by that. This is why she didn't correct him on the age.

"He is much more upset about her taking the money to break you and Kim apart. Anything that he felt for her die then." Carolyn explained.

"That is what happened with Gabriella when I found out she posted the not-a-sex-tape. I couldn't trust her anymore after that. But now I know she was being manipulated by Mercedes." Troy explained.

"Who I will definitely be going after for turning my underage son into a porn star. As well as praying on the unwell." Carolyn was ready for blood, and since Gabriella was already in the hospital, Mercedes will do nicely.

"Ask Madison for the screenshots." Troy yawned in the backseat.

"I will. We will be at the Evans house in about five minutes. Just rest. Things will make more sense in the morning." Carolyn tells both.

"It's morning already, and nothing makes sense," Troy remarked.

"I would say welcome to true adulthood, but that seems cruel." Carolyn quipped from the front.

"I think we're both aware the world's cruel," Kim's words were, unfortunately, very true.

Evans family guest house 3:25 AM

Jack was surprised that he could fall asleep the moment his head hit the pillow, considering the day he had. It might just be the exhaustion combined with the two Tylenol's he took for the massive Karen induced headache. He's never had a good relationship with Karen before the implosion of his marriage. It was much worse now.

Jack is also not surprised that he woke up around 3:25 AM. Really he was surprised he slept that long. However, he's pleasantly surprised to see Carolyn trying to tiptoe into the room.

"I see that you are back," Jack commented as he got up from the bed and walk to the connecting bathroom.

"Yes. Sorry, I woke you up. I was trying to be quiet." Carolyn said as he heard the sound of the suitcase unzipped.

"That would be my bladder and the Tylenol wearing off." This comment was followed by flushing and the washing of hands. As well as the use of mouthwash which may be wishful thinking on his part.

"I got a horrible headache from dealing with Karen," he remarked, walking back into the bedroom. Carolyn responded by kissing his temple. "If the headache wasn't already gone, it would be now."

"I think I will need the Tylenol as well. It hasn't been the best day."

"Not really." He said, handing her the bottle from the counter. "Did you get Maria out of jail?" Jack asked.

"Yes, she's at the hospital right now, with Madison keeping an eye on her. They were supposed to go to the hotel, but…" Maria stopped abruptly to swallow the two pills.

"That's not happening. She won't leave Gabriella." Jack remarked, moving back to the bed. He knew he wouldn't leave Troy in the hospital alone.

"You're absolutely right," Carolyn said as she joined him on the bed. "She won't leave Gabriella until she at least sees her. That won't happen until Dr. Suarez arrives at 7 AM. Madison is going to try again then. If that doesn't work, I'll go over there and relieve Madison so she can sleep."

"So I should tell you that we have an 8 AM with the lawyers," Jack told her. He was dreading going to the lawyers, but he wanted her with him.

"Oh good, I'll get at least three hours of sleep. I can be dressed in five minutes. Although send a text to your lawyer and tell them to have bagels or something."

"I will," Jack said just as Carolyn kissed him.

"I would love to do more than that, but I'm exhausted." She actually yawned at that point.

"It's OK. I just need you here right now." He wrapped an arm around her, and Carolyn snuggled into his side. They both fell quickly to sleep.

XXXX

A few hours later

"Why are you up," Chad asked his fiancée as he saw her half-dressed. "It's not even light outside yet."

"Today is Shopping day. I'm actually starting late since the phone store won't open until 8 AM." Sharpay remarked.

"I didn't think you were serious about going shopping today. There's cyber Monday. Come back to bed." Chad grabbed for Sharpay, but she just leaned over to kiss him on the four head instead.

"I would love to crawl back into bed with you. However, we need cell phones. Half of yesterday's drama could've been avoided with working cell phones." They both arrived home to lots of emails from Taylor and Ryan warning them about Gabriella crashing a very Bolton Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, nobody could access them due to the lack of cell phones. That's not even mentioning all of the messages on the landline answering machine.

"This is true," Chad said reluctantly, knowing that Sharpay did have to leave.

"Jason needs a distraction and to be away from here when things blow up." That was true. Jason did not need to be here during the brunch when Taylor found out the truth. Chad didn't even want to be here, but Taylor would need somebody, and they are unable to convince her not to send Ryan away on his date.

"Also, I had to pick out an outfit for Ryan's date. I may have borrowed a few things from your wardrobe since you both are similar in size."

"Should we tell him why Alexa and Vanessa want him here? He will cancel the date if we tell him." Because Chad knows Ryan, and he knows Ryan will be here no matter what for Taylor.

"No. I think Ryan needs to go on this date." Sharpay explained.

"Is this because you rather have him with Zack than Taylor?" Chad asked.

"I am fine with either dating choice because Taylor is definitely better than Kelsi, and I adore Zack. However, I think he needs this after all the Darby stuff. Also, because of the Darby stuff, I don't think he needs to be here when it explodes." Sharpay explained.

"But you want me here?" Chad asked.

"You owe her," Sharpay explained.

"I do." He agreed entirely.

"And I'll send Zack a text that he needs to do a short date and bring Ryan back quickly with chocolate croissants," Sharpay explained.

"Solid plan. You need to bring junk food and ice cream in addition to all the new cell phones. You should also add an 'I'm sorry you just found out you were adopted' present. What do you get in that situation?" Chad asked.

"I don't know. Probably more chocolate or alcohol." Sharpay replied.

"Your mom is here. So I don't think we're going to get into the alcohol stash." They don't drink a lot, but they occasionally grab a bottle out of the wine cellar.

"Kim is 21 now. She can buy the booze." Chad retorted.

"This is true." Sharpay leaned over to kiss him. "I am going to get Jason. Do you want to deliver Alex to his parents? You know he's going to be up when I grab Jason."

"No, because there's like a 50-50 shot they could be having sex," Chad remarked.

"Knock on the door first," Sharpay remarked before diving headfirst into the closet. Chad felt this was a good time to go to the bathroom. He knew he had Alex duty and would not be going back to sleep.

Xxx

At 7:15 AM, after barely three hours of actual sleep, his almost 2-year-old jumped on the bed of the guestroom that they were staying in. There was no way Troy was going to be able to sleep through that. Especially because he just got kicked in the ribs.

"See, this is why I told you you had to sleep with at least your underwear on," Kim remarked groggily from next to him. She was not shocked at all to see Alex there.

"Which I am very grateful for." Troy heard Chad say from the hallway. "Sharpay just woke Jason up to go shopping with her. Part of his punishment for breaking into your dad's cell phone is he has to be her Thanksgiving shopping pack mule." Chad explained.

"This will backfire if he comes out with a PS3. I feel guilty enough for what happened yesterday that I might be the one buying it." Kim remarked.

"I am less mad since he is the reason that I actually saw the letter sent to my father and the one that went to Gabriella's mom. Because nobody else was going to show it to me." Troy said, looking directly at his fiancée.

"I did show you mine after you saw the other letters, and you checked Gabriella into the hospital. I was trying to keep you from finding out about this in the worst possible way."

"She put a hit out on you and paid my mom $1 million to break us up. There is no easy way to break that."

"I think she technically put a hit out on Alex, and I was just collateral damage," Kim replied.

"You're almost making me feel better about Charles even though he propositioned Taylor. I want to see those emails." Chad demanded.

"A lot of messed up parental stuff happen yesterday," Kim remarked. "Although that does explain some of the things Tiffany said about her ex-boyfriend before I knew he was your father. I got her a different hotel room, by the way."

"Thank you," Chad replied.

"I would like for you not to read that stuff, but I think you'll understand more of what's happening if you see them," Troy said reluctantly.

"But not right now. I think if we cuddle, we might get Alex back to sleep for another two hours." Kim said as she pulled Alex down to her. He quickly settled in between the two of them.

"Alexa and Vanessa are coming over to talk to Taylor at 11. Do you still want to be here?" Chad asked.

"Madison, texted," Troy said, grabbing his phone off the dresser. He did give Madison and all the important people his phone number last night. He deeply regrets his decision not to give it to them Wednesday because of what happened. "Maria still won't leave even though they saw Dr. Suarez. Although Maria might be able to see Gabriella today. We might be able to see her Saturday or Sunday."

"OK, so what mess are we dealing with?" Kim asked.

"You guys go to the hospital. I'll even keep Alex." Chad offered.

"Thank you." Troy was genuinely grateful.

"I just thought of something. Maybe we can use seeing Alex as a way to get her out of the hospital and here. Are there any spare guest rooms left?"

"We have two left. Ryan told Sharpay to pick up some extra things for Maria. I assume she's going to be here for a while."

"Probably until Gabriella gets released, which might not happen until the end of the semester. And she should at least stay with the rest of us for the moment."

"I won't say that everything will be OK but will get through it."

XXXX

Liz: Oh my god, you're dumping Lucy and hooking up with Carolyn, and you don't tell me.

Liz: Or the fact that I am a great aunt at 26. You didn't even send pictures. I wasn't expecting that for at least 10 more years, even if my nephew is already over 18.

Liz: Actually, I was an aunt at 24 but didn't know it.

Liz: And I find all this out from mom this morning. It was a good thing I called her because I would've got quite the shock when I got an email invitation from Ms. Sharpay Evans a few minutes later. Apparently, we are invited to her house for brunch Saturday to meet the great-nephew and probably give you emotional support.

Liz: What the fuck happened, Jack?

Liz: I know we're not as close as we could be or should be because you got married when I was in Elementary school, and I kind of hate Lucy. I can say that now that you're getting divorced. You are getting divorced, right? I don't see you as a doormat.

Jack: Considering Carolyn is currently driving me to my divorce attorney, the answer to that question is yes. I was going to drive, but she insisted that I text you back.

Liz: This is why I always liked her, especially over Lucy. Who is just a horrible person. I was always your bratty little half-sister to her.

Jack: Why did nobody tell me this stuff earlier? Did anybody like Lucy? Did she just treat everybody like shit? Even David and Chris are on my side in the divorce.

Jack: I have to return their text messages next, but apparently, their own sister was horrible to their spouses. They are neither shocked nor surprised at Lucy's behavior.

Liz: We didn't want to hurt your feelings.

Liz: Although David didn't see it until he married someone not white, so he couldn't warn you off of Lucy when you were just dating.

Jack: Still, it would've been nice to know, so I could've ended things with Lucy before she completely screwed up Troy's life for $1 million.

Liz: What the hell happened?

Jack: Kim's biological mother didn't like her hooking up with a white boy, so she paid Lucy $1 million to break them up. Lucy blackmailed Kim into moving to the other side of the country and then tricked her college best friend into moving her daughter to Albuquerque. Lucy then engineered their entire first meeting and a good portion of their actual relationship. Other manipulations and head games were going on, but I don't even know everything else that happened.

Liz: I am on my way to Albuquerque now. I will probably be there in an hour. Should I go to the house or?

Jack: I'll text you the address for Troy's house. That's where mom is staying. Technically my house, or rather Lucy's house, is a crime scene at the moment.

Liz: Troy has a house?

Jack: His girlfriend does, and it's his permanent address because that's where his son lives.

Jack: Also, Sharpay is Chad's new girlfriend/fiancé and Troy's girlfriend's best friend. I think she's trying to make things easier, especially because the whole meet Alex thing was disrupted yesterday.

Liz: Lucy getting the shit beat out of her feels like more than a disruption.

Liz: Although it feels well deserved.

Jack: You have no idea. Was there anything else in the email Sharpay sent you?

Liz: She would like to know how many hotel rooms to book and an estimated arrival time. I assume I should take her up on the hotel?

Jack: Yes. Can you stay a couple of days? Carolyn was going to stay Monday but she can't because of work. Although she'll be back around Christmas for a week.

Liz: I can because you know I work from home, but Kevin will have to go back Monday.

Jack: Thank you. I think I'm going to need you.

Liz: Send me the address to your divorce lawyer. What time is your meeting?

Jack: Technically, at 8 AM, but we just got a text message that he has an emergency meeting related to the case. So it's been pushed back to 9 AM.

Liz: Good, I'll be there. Just pick up bagels or croissants.

Jack: Caroline wants pancakes since we now have an hour. But I'll try to convince her to go for something more portable.

Liz: You are the best.

Xxxx

About an hour later.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Jack asked when he found his mom standing outside the front door of his attorney's office.

"You don't think I wouldn't be here for this? There are certain events in your child's life that you must be there, and divorce is on the list." His mother, Katrina, gave him a sympathetic look.

"Especially when the soon-to-be ex-screws a 27-year-old for years. You neglected to mention that." Liz said, walking up behind them.

"What she did to Troy was worse. The adultery doesn't matter." Not with everything else she's done.

"I feel like it does," Liz remarked. "At least from a legal standpoint."

"Where is your husband?" Jack asked.

"I left him at Troy's house to keep Karen from snooping. Julie is there too." Liz told him. He's thankful Kevin is there to keep an eye on them.

"I am not even surprised. When will Lucy's house not be a crime scene?" He asked, turning to Carolyn.

"I think they're going to release it later today." His attorney Matt answered before Carolyn could. "But it might take longer as things come out." Jack is sure it's going to take longer. "I'm currently trying to talk your daughter-in-law out of posting bail for her mother-in-law, but she believes in killing people with kindness."

"She would," Carolyn mumbled.

"Mom and Liz, this is my attorney Matt. This is my mother, Katrina, and my sister Elizabeth." Jack said as by way of introduction.

"And that would be the girlfriend Carolyn Sanchez, attorney-at-law," Liz told the attorney, and Jack just glared at her.

"Best friend, actually." Matt gave him a look.

"Actually, we have been more than friends since Wednesday afternoon. And you should know that as Jack's attorney. But nothing happened until he threw his wedding ring at Lucy's head." Carolyn explained.

"At least you requested this consultation before you went into a new relationship. However, it could still cause some problems." And Jack realizes that, especially after yesterday.

"She sold her son out for $1 million and is fucking a 27-year-old. I think that's the bigger problem." Liz remarked.

"I know. Troy and Kim's attorney is also going to be sitting in the meeting. That's why we had to push it back an hour. Nelson is also on his way, but I assume you really want to start the divorce proceedings?" Matt asked.

"Yes. I'm never going to forgive Lucy for what she did to Troy or even Gabriella. Do you know that she's in the hospital right now? Lucy brought her here as one last attempt to break Kim and Troy up." Jack explained.

"I am aware. Come into my office; let's get started." Matt said as he led them into the building.

To be continued…
