A spatial view of the Earth's moon in space.

Ruby gasps, "wow! The moon isn't shattered here!"

The Librarian chuckles. "Of course not, in this world, the Brothers didn't exist."

"The Brothers?" Blake asks, turning to him.

"I mean, uh…" The Librarian pauses, "the cause of your moon shattering never occurred on Earth."

"Earth? Is that what this planet is called?" Yang asks.

The Librarian nods. "Yes. Or Terra Firma, but Earth is easier to say."

"But incredibly unoriginal," Weiss critiques.

The screen shifts towards Earth and rotates around the planet, zooming down on into the horizon and into Great Britain. The screen speeds up, focusing on a large island, and then cuts to black. The numbers 7:30 are visible. The alarm clock buzzes and a hand quickly hits it, silencing the machine.

A girl rolls out of her bed and quickly gets changed. She runs over to a separate room and picks up a purse. The young woman then kisses another woman, presumably her mother, on the cheek. The girl walks over to a table and picks up a set of keys then runs out.

"Bye," the girl exclaims.

"See you later," her mother responds, drinking something from a mug. She then picks up a phone and presses a button.

Ruby, Yang, and Weiss stiffen, briefly remembering their own mothers and the memories associated with them.

The girl jumps down a flight of stairs. Then, the screen shows a few shots of the city bustling and moving. Screens roll, busses drive by, and pedestrians walk with haste.

"Wow," Yang gasps. "That's a lot of people."

"That looks like more people than Amity Colosseum could fit!" Ruby exclaims.

"Of course," the Librarian replies. "In a world without Grimm, settlements grew vast and large in this world."

"No Grimm?!" Wiess exclaims. "This must be a world full of peace!"

The Librarian's face darkens. "No… Not always."

Blake frowns and scans the crowds. "Where are the Faunus? Is this a human-only settlement?"

"Nope! In this world, Faunus do not exist. Everyone is born as a human," came the Librarian's reply.

"Huh," Blake responded, wrapping her head around the thought.

The girl from earlier jumps off a bus, pausing to look at the store in front of her. Its line of clothing is clearly visible through the glass and worn by the mannequin.

The girl runs into another store with "Henrik's" written on the front, along with "sale."

She is then shown placing a small pile of clothes on a circular table inside. The table is surrounded by more mannequins and clothing.

"Oh," Ruby realizes. "She works here."

"Of course she does, you dunce." Weiss snaps back. "What, did you think she was robbing it?"

Ruby coughs and ignores the question.

Yang shivers. "I hate mannequins. Too creepy."

"Don't you have one in our closet?" Blake asks.

Shaking her head, Yang replies, "no, that's a punching dummy. Completely different!"

Blake rolls her eyes.

The screen shows outside again, sped up so the crowds move quickly. The girl is shown eating a meal with a dark-skinned man. The man leans over and kisses the girl's cheek, making the girl laugh. There are a few more clips of the boy and the girl enjoying lunch and goofing off, parting with a kiss.

"Awwww," each member of RWBY comments.

"They're so cute together!" Yang exclaims. "I hope I can find some guy who looks at her like he looks at her."

Or some girl, Blake thinks.

The girl picks up more clothes.

The loudspeaker crackles. "This is a customer announcement. The store will be closing in five minutes. Thank you."

Another outside shot of the city shows the day turning dark. The girl adjusts her purse and starts walking towards the entrance. She is stopped just shy of the door by a guard, who taps her shoulder and holds a small plastic bag up to her.

"Oi!" The guard calls out. The girl turns around and grabs the bag, full of money. She runs back into the store and presses an elevator button. As the guard closes the door, she gets inside of the elevator. Pressing a button, the doors close slowly.

The elevator falls slowly towards the basement. The machine dings as it reaches its destination and the doors open. The girl walked out and looks left and right.

"Wilson?" She calls out, walking to her left. The girl lifts up the bag, "Wilson, I've got the lottery money. Wilson?" The girl walks up to a large blue door with Wilson's name on it. She knocks on the door, "you there?"

She tries pulling on the handle, to no avail. "Look," the girl continues, "I can't hang about 'cause they're closing the shop." The girl pauses, waiting for a reply. "Wilson?" She groans and mutters, "oh, come on."

Something clatters behind her, making her look behind her.

Ruby jumps slightly and grips the armchairs. Next to her, Yang pats her arm, comforting the team leader.

"Hello?" she calls out.

Yang groans, "never say that! That's, like, a step up from 'I'll be right back.'

Blake chuckles.

Slowly, the girl turns towards the noise and starts walking down the hallway. "Hello? Wilson, it's Rose."

"So we finally find out her name," Weiss complains.

"I like that name," Ruby comments.

The Librarian laughs, "maybe that's because your name is Ruby Rose.

Ruby blushes and giggles.

Rose continues to walk down the hallway. "Hello?" She comes to another door. "Wilson?" She stammers. Rose pushes the door, shining light into the pitch-black room. Barely visible are more mannequins. Rose gulps and leans over, flipping a switch on the wall. The lights flicker on, revealing mannequins covering the walls.

Yang stiffens and holds in a scream. Blake places a hand on hers, comforting the blonde. Yang's breathing returns to normal as she clenches her friend's hand. Neither girls make a move to give up the other's hand.

"Wilson?" Rose calls out again. She continued calling out his name as she walked down the hallway. Rose once again comes to another door. As she reaches for this new door, the one she came through closes with a loud bang. Rose quickly runs back and tries to open the door. However, it seems to be locked.

"Oh no!" Ruby cries. "What happened?"

"I think someone locked her inside," Blake comments.

"Or something," the Librarian mutters ominously.

Rose continues to struggle with the door. "Oh, you're kidding me!" Once again, a loud clanging noise is heard behind her. Rose turns once again, walking slowly. "Is someone mucking about?" Rose starts walking back, slowly this time. "Who is it?"

As Rose walks down, one of the mannequin's heads turns at the girl.

This time, Yang doesn't hold back her scream.

Even Weiss looks disturbed. "That is… so creepy."

"It can't get worse than that!" Yang exclaims.

Rose turns around, noticing the moving mannequin. Sliding out of the shadows, the mannequin steps down and towards Rose. Behind it, another mannequin starts moving.

"Oh gods it got worse," Yang squeaked.

Rose takes a small step backward. "Okay. You got me. Very funny." Rose continues to step back as the dolls step forwards. "Right, I've got the joke! Whose idea was this?"

Rose looks behind her frantically. "Is it Derek's? Is it?" She continues to walk backward. "Derek, is this you?" Behind her, another living mannequin steps out. Rose screams as she turns and notices she has been completely surrounded by plastic men.

Yang screams.

Rose, now with more haste, walks back towards the doors she came into. All around her, mannequins step forward. Rose briefly stumbles on a box but remains standing.

As Rose gets encircled, she finds herself back to the wall. Slowly, the mannequins tighten their formation. All at once, the plastic men raise their right arms, an obvious sign of aggression.

Rose closes her eyes and whimpers.

"Run!" screams RWBY, Yang louder than the other three.

Before the mannequins can strike, someone grabs her hand.

"Run!" The strange man orders. He pulls Rose out of the corner just as the mannequins strike. Missing, they instead cleanly cut off a red pipe that was where Rose's head once lay.

"Oh my gosh!" Ruby exclaimed. "That almost killed her!"

"Who was that?" Blake asks.

"Whoever he is, he could have acted sooner!" Weiss comments.

Yang, her eyes covered by her hands asks, "is it over yet?"

Blake squeezes her hand, "almost, I think."

Quickly, the man and Rose burst through the doors, running from the horde of mannequins chasing them. As they run past separate doors, the windows easily show more plastics reaching for the skinned duo. They rush through another set of doors and jump into the elevator. Before the door closes, one of the mannequins reaches through and grabs at the man.

He struggles as the hand tries to grab a hold of him. After a few failed attempts, the man rips the plastic arm off and the door closes.

Ruby, Weiss, and Blake all join Yang in screaming,

"That's… so morbid!" Weiss gasps.

"But, it's only a mannequin arm," Ruby rationalizes. "It's not like it was a real arm."

"Mannequin's also don't try to attack people," Blake complains.

Yang's eyes go wide, "are you sure?!"

The Librarian laughs. "Don't worry. Mannequins don't come to life. Not even in this world, and especially not on yours.

"You pulled his arm off!" Rose exclaims.

"Yep, plastic," the man agrees. He tosses the now unmoving arm to Rose.

She catches it warily. "Very clever, nice trick. Who are they then, Students?"

"Why would they be students?" The man asks, turning to the blonde.

"I don't know!"

"Well, you said it, why students?"

Rose shakes her head. "'Cause… to get that many people dressed up and being silly, they got to be students."

The man turns back to Rose and smiles. "That makes sense. Well done."

"Thanks."

"They're not students," he states, shaking his head.

"Whoever they are, when Wilson finds them, he's going to call the police."

"Whose Wilson?"

"Chief electrician," Rose explains.

The doors open as the man turns back to Rose, "Wilson's dead."

"Awww, poor Wilson," Ruby exclaims.

Weiss nods, "he deserved something better."

"Like being a castaway?" The Librarian chuckles.

"What?" Yang asks, now less frightened than she was before.

"Nothing," he shakes his head. "Just a reference to a really good movie about a man and a volleyball."

"Oh… Okay."

Both the man and Rose step out of the elevator. The man stops and turns to the controls, pulling something out of his jacket pocket.

"That's just not funny," Rose comments. "That's sick."

"Hold on!" The man asks, moving Rose out of the way. "Mind your eyes." He moves a small metallic object with a blue light against the up/down buttons. The object pulses and hums.

"I've had enough of this now," Rose comments just as the control panel sparks and smokes. Rose gasps loudly as the man turns away and pockets his device.

"Who are you, then? Who's that lot down there?" She asks. As the man walks away, she chases after him. "I said, 'who are they'?"

The man runs up a small set of steps and through a doorway. "They're made of plastic. Living plastic creatures." The man turns around a corner, Rose tailing him closely. "And they're being controlled by a relay device on the roof. Which would be a great big problem if I didn't have this," the man states, pulling out a large square package labeled 'C4' with a small clock on it."

"What's that?" Weiss asks.

"Explosives," Blake and Yang comment.

"How do you… Nevermind." Weiss bristles.

"So, I'm gonna go upstairs and blow it up," he continues, opening a door and stopping before entering it fully. "And I might well die in the process, but don't worry about me." He grabs Rose by the shoulder and ushers her outside. "No, you go home. Go on, go, and have your lovely beans on toast.

"Don't tell anyone about this," he continues, "'cause if you do, you'll get them killed." The man shuts the door as he turns around and walks back inside.

Weiss frowns. "Is that a threat?"

"I think it's a warning," Blake responds. "If it was a threat, it would have been more personal."

As Rose turns away from the door, it swings open once again.

"I'm the Doctor, by the way." He states, identifying himself. "What's your name?"

"Rose."

"Nice to meet you, Rose." The Doctor says, smiling. He holds up the small explosive and gives it a shake. "Run for your life!"

"Now that's a greeting!" Yang laughs.

"The Doctor?" Weiss wonders aloud, "and you're the Librarian. What's the connection?"

The Librarian smiles and leans over to the Ice Queen. "Spoilers," he whispers.

Weiss grumbles and crosses her arms.

Once again, the door slams shut. This time Rose begins running away from the store. She quickly runs down a street, and turns a corner, pausing to catch her breath. Rose then runs across a street, nearly getting run over. Rose screams and the car honks as it swerves around her.

Rose, still holding the plastic arm, looks across the street at the store. On the roof a large explosion occurs, shooting fire and debris into the sky. All around the store, people start screaming and running. It wasn't until the second explosion occurs that Rose once again begins to run back down a street.

Right past a large blue police box slightly hidden in the shadows.

Ruby gasps. "That looks like the thing we're in!"

"What was it called?" Yang wonders aloud. "Tardy?"

"The T.A.R.D.I.S," the Librarian corrects.

"That's what I said," Yang nods, making the Librarian chuckle.

Weiss frowns, "is it the same thing?"

"Yes and no," the Librarian smiles. "Is that a T.A.R.D.I.S? Yes. Is that the same as mine? No."

Blake nods. "It must belong to the Doctor. But if he has one, and you have one, what else do you two have in common?"

"More than you think," the Librarian winks.

"So, how much of this have you seen?" Ruby asks.

The Librarian chuckles. "Technically I haven't seen this, but I have heard stories about the Doctor. He was my hero growing up, even if he's just a madman with a box."

"A madman with a box?" Blake frowns. "That seems kind of rude."

"Not at all. It's simply a statement of fact." The Librarian notes.

"And what was that thing he used to fry the elevator? That was so cool!" Ruby drools.

The Librarian hands the hooded huntress a handkerchief. "Ah, yes. His sonic screwdriver."

Yang coughs, "sonic screwdriver? Yeah, that's a totally epic weapon."

"Hey!" The Librarian turns to the blonde, "don't diss the sonic!"

"Oh yeah?" Yang grins, "where's your sonic screwdriver?"

The Librarian holds up his wrist, showing his watch. "Sonic watch with different settings. Includes the screwdriver."

Ruby scoots closer to the Librarian, her eyes sparkling.

The Librarian chuckles and pats the hooded huntress' head. "Maybe later, okay?"

Ruby nods rapidly.

Back at Rose's house, a T.V plays a news segment talking about the explosion.

"The whole of central London has been closed off as police investigate the fire," the reporter reports. On a chair next to the television, the mannequin's arm lay unmoving.

Rose's mom walks in on a phone. "I know, it's on the telly! It's everywhere. She's lucky to be alive." She hands Rose a cup of tea. "Honestly, it's aged her. Skin like an old bible. He's walking in now. You'd think I was her daughter. Oh, and here's himself."

Rose looks over and sees the boy from earlier rushing in.

"Isn't that her boyfriend?" Blake asks.

Weiss nods, "either that or they are incredibly close friends.

"I've been phoning your mobile!" He exclaims, "you could have been dead! It's on the news and everything!" The boy drops to his knees and grabs Rose's hand. "I can't believe that your shop went up!"

"I'm all right." Rose starts as he pulls her in for a hug. "Honestly I'm fine. Don't make a fuss!"

He lets her go and then sits down next to Rose. "But what happened?"

"I don't know."

"What was it, though? What caused it?"

Rose shakes her head and leans forward, "I wasn't in the shop. I was outside. Didn't see anything."

"Why doesn't she just tell him the truth? Ruby asks.

Weiss turns to her leader, "would you believe me if I said I was attacked by dolls and then a strange man saved my life then blew up where you worked?"

Ruby nods, "yep!"

Yang laughs and rubs her sister's shoulder. "Not all of us are as trustworthy as you, sis."

Rose's mom walks back in, holding the phone. "It's Debbie on the end. She knows a man on The Mirror, 500 quid for an interview."

"Is that a lot?" Weiss asks.

The Librarian fiddles with his watch. Let's see… 500 quid is about 666.54 USD. The USD to Lien ratio is about… .015. I'm going to guess that to be around 44,436 Lien."

Blake and Weiss do a spit take. "That much!?"

The Librarian nods. "News companies often fight over the best stories, and some are willing to spend a pretty penny to get ahead in the game."

"Wow…"

"Oh, that's brilliant," Rose smiles and reaches for the phone. "Give it here."

Her mom hands over the phone and Rose presses a button then sets it down.

"But… But… But…" Weiss stutters.

"Not everything is about money, Ice Queen," the Librarian explains.

"Oh, not you too!"

Rose's mom turns to her daughter, "you've got to find some way of making money. Your job's kaput, and I'm not bailing you out." The phone rings and she quickly picks it up. "Bev, she's alive! I've told her, sue for compensation," Rose's mother explains as she walks away.

"What are you drinking, Tea?" Her boyfriend asks, taking the cup away from her. "No, no, no." He exclaims as he rises to his feet. "That's no good. That's no good!" He grabs Rose's hand and pulls her upward. "You're in shock. You need something stronger."

Yang chuckles, "I would want something stronger."

"Aren't you 17?" Weiss asks.

"So?"

"I'm all right," Rose counters.

Ignoring her, he responds telling her, "now, come on. You deserve a proper drink. We're going down to the pub. You and me, my treat. How about it?"

Rose chuckles, "is there a match on?"

The Librarian feels RWBY's confusion and clarifies. "She's talking about a sports game. Most pubs will play them on T.V screens around bars."

"Oooooh."

"No, no." He drops back onto the couch. "I'm just thinking about you."

"There's a match on, ain't there?"

"Well, that's not the point," he smiles. "But we could catch the last five minutes."

Rose pats her boyfriend on the shoulder. "Go on, then. I'm fine, really, go." As he leans up, she points to the plastic arm, "and get rid of that."

"Yes please!" Yang exclaims.

He grabs the hand after a quick kiss from his girlfriend, waving the hand as he leaves. "Bye, bye."

Rose raises her own hand, "bye!"

He places the hand on his throat and pretends to choke before leaving.

Yang screams. "Don't do that!"

"He doesn't know, Yang," Blake states.

"I don't care!"

As he leaves the building, he tosses the arm into a nearby garbage can. The screen follows the hand into the pitch-black container before showing an alarm clock blinking with the numbers '7:30'.

Ruby gasps. "Was it all just a dream?!"

"Oh stop it, you dunce." Weiss rolls her eyes.

Ruby giggles.

Rose once again snoozes the beeping machine and struggles to roll out of bed.

"There's no point in getting up, sweetheart," her mother comments. "You've got no job to go to."

Rose lays back down before getting back up, getting changed, and walking into the kitchen. Her mother sits down next to her in a bathrobe. "There's Finch's, you could always try them. They've always got jobs."

"Oh, great," Rose rolls her eyes, "the butcher's."

"It might do you good. That shop was giving you airs and graces. I'm not joking about compensation," she comments as she stands back up. "You've had genuine shock and trauma. Ariana got two thousand quid of the council just because the old man behind the desk said she looked Greek."

"That seems a little extreme for an assumption," Weiss comments.

The Librarian sighs, "but assuming is illegal now."

RWBY gasps, "really?!"

He nods. "If you assume, even if you're wrong or right, you can get into lots of trouble. It's a sad thing about my time."

"I know she is Greek, but that's not the point," Rose's mother finishes. "It was a valid claim."

As Rose gets used to the fantastic sound of silence, a loud rattling is heard from the door. She quickly turns around and walks over to it. "Mum, you're such a liar! I said to nail the cat-flap down. We're gonna get strays!"

"I did it weeks back!"

"Nah, you thought about it," Rose guesses. She leans down and picks up a few screws from the ground. The flap then shudders and Rose jumps.

Rose pulls her hair back and slowly leans down. She pokes at the flap before opening it, revealing the face of the Doctor.

"Him again?!" Weiss cried. "Let's add breaking and entering along with arson to his rap sheet.

"Do you think he used that sonic screwdriver to unscrew the cat-flap screws?" Blake asks.

"Probably!" Ruby answers.

Rose gasps and stands up, pulling the door open.

"What are you doing here?" The Doctor asks.

"I live here! I'm home 'cause someone blew up my job," Rose accuses.

The Doctor pulls out his sonic and studies it, "must have gotten the wrong signal. You're not plastic are you?" He pockets the device then knocks on Rose's forehead. "Nope, bonehead. By then!"

Rose grabs the Doctor by the arm and pulls on it. "You, inside, right now."

As she pulls him inside, her mother calls out, asking "who is it?"

Rose turns the corner and replies, "it's about last night. He's part of the inquiry. Give us ten minutes."

"She deserves compensation," her mother demands as she sees the Doctor.

"Oh, we're talking millions," the Doctor lies.

Rose's mother stands up, "I'm… I'm in my dressing gown."

"Yes, you are," the Doctor responds, looking back up at the ceiling.

Yang covers Ruby's eyes.

"Hey!"

"There's a strange man in my bedroom," Ms. Tyler continues.

"Yes, there is."

Blake covers Ruby's ears.

"HEY!"

"Well, anything could happen."

The Doctor pauses before shaking his head. "No." He walks off after Rose, leaving her mother to her makeup.

Everyone, but Ruby laughs. Yang and Blake return to their own seats, ignoring Ruby's cries of confusion.

"What did I miss?" She asks.

"Nothing important," Yang responds.

Rose tosses a few magazines off of the couch. "Pardon the mess. Do you want a coffee?"

"Might as well, thanks," he responds, stepping into the living room. "Just milk, please."

She walks over to the kitchen and starts preparing a cup. "We should go to the police. Seriously, both of us." The Doctor grabs one of the magazines and picks it up.

"That won't last," he comments about one of the excerpts. "He's gay and she's an alien."

RWBY does a spit take.

"Alien!?"

"I'm not blaming you, even if it was some sort of joke," Ruby continues as he picks up a book and flips through it.

"Hmm, sad ending."

Blake immediately gasps. "That's… so unfair! How come he can read that fast?!"

"Jealous? The Librarian pokes.

"YES!"

"It said on the news they found a body."

The Doctor picks up a small piece of paper. "'Rose Tyler'," he reads aloud before walking over to a small mirror on the wall. "Ah, could have been worse. Look at those ears!" He flicks his earlobes back and forth.

"What the heck does that mean?" Weiss asks.

The Librarian shuffles his jacket pockets before pulling out a small piece of paper. He hands it to Weiss and she unfurls it, reading 'spoilers'.

As he laughs, the Librarian gets a small, frozen, crumpled-up ball of paper tossed at his head.

"Ow!"

"... all the same, he was nice. He was a nice Bloke." The Doctor picks up a small stack of playing cards and shuffles them. "Anyway, if we are gonna go to the police, I wanna know what I'm saying." The deck of cards goes flying into the air. "I want you to explain everything!"

"Maybe not," he mutters as the cards fall back down to the ground. He turns as he hears a soft pattering. "What's that then?" The Doctor shuffles over to the couch and checks behind it. "Do you have a cat?"

"No," Rose responds from the other room. The Doctor turns back to the couch and a plastic mannequin hand jumps out at him and grabs the Doctor behind the neck.

Team RWBY screams, Yang louder than the others.

"We did have, but we just got strays." The Doctor stumbles backward as the arm chokes him. "They come in off the estate." Rose pours more milk into a mug as the Doctor struggles with the hand.

Rose slowly, and carefully, brings over the cups of coffee into the main room, not realizing the Doctor was being attacked. "I told Mickey to throw that out."

"Hey! We know what her boyfriend's name is now!" Ruby comments.

"That's great news!" Weiss adds, "if the hand wasn't attacking the Doctor!"

The Doctor looks at Rose, his face red. "You're all the same," Rose continues. "Give a man a plastic hand…"

"He's not joking around!" Yang cries.

"Help him!" Blake yells.

"Anyway, I don't even know your name. Doctor, was it?" Just as Rose finished asking, the Doctor pushed the arm off of his neck. The arm floats for a moment before flying at the blonde and grabbing her face.

Rose shrieks as it grabs her. The Doctor quickly jumps up and tries to help, grabbing the arm.

In the next room over, Ms. Tyler begins blow-drying her hair, making more noise.

Back with the duo, Rose and the Doctor fall onto the small glass coffee table. They roll around for a moment before the Doctor pushes Rose back onto the couch. He struggles with his jacket and pulls out his sonic screwdriver.

He grabs the arm, pulling it off of Rose's face and presses the screwdriver into its palm. After a few small buzzes and button pressing, the arms squirming slows, then stops.

"It's all right," he declares, "I've stopped it." He tosses the plastic limb to Rose. "There you go, see? 'Armless!"

Yang, still recovering from the arm-scare, giggles a bit. "That's a good one."

The Librarian frowns. "You might want to prepare a few arm puns when this is all over?"

"Why? Sounds like that'll be a handful."

"They're going to be pretty handy next year."

Blake turns to the man, "why is that?"

The Librarian ignores her and turns back to the screen.

What was that all about? Blake wonders.

Rose slaps the Doctor with the arm, on the arm.

"Ow," he complains, pouting.

The screen changes, jumping to Rose chasing the Doctor as they rush down a stairway.

"Hold on a minute, you can't just go swanning off!

"Yes, I can. Here I am. This is me, swanning off, see ya!" The Doctor responds, clutching the limb in his hand.

"That arm was moving, it tried to kill me!"

"Ten out of ten for observation."

"You can't just walk away. That's not fair."

Ruby nods. "Yeah! Tell us what's going on!"

"I think Rose deserves to know after that near-death experience," Weiss agrees.

"You've got to tell me what's going on."

"No, I don't."

The Doctor pushes through a gate, Rose running up next to him.

"All right then," she counters. "I'll go to the police. I'll tell everyone."

"Didn't he warn her not to do that, and said people would die?" Blake asks.

The Librarian nods, "yes, but he hasn't elaborated past that very much."

"You said if I did that, I'd get people killed, so, your choice." Rose continues as she follows the Doctor's lead. "Tell me or I'll start talking."

"Is that supposed to sound tough?" He asks, turning to the blonde.

"Sort of."

The Doctor's head spins back to where he is walking, "doesn't work."

"Who are you?" Rose asks.

"Told you, the Doctor."

"Yeah, but, Doctor what?"

The Librarian laughs, "not what, who!"

"Just the Doctor," he responds.

"The Doctor?"

The Doctor smiles and waves, "hello!"

Rose pauses. "Is that supposed to sound impressive?"

"Sort of!"

"Come on then, you can tell me. I've seen enough." Rose waits for a response before asking, "Are you the police?"

"No! I was just passing through. I'm a long way from home-"

"But what have I done wrong?" Rose cuts him off. "How come those plastic things keep coming after me?"

"Oh, suddenly the entire world revolves around you! You were just an accident. You got in the way, that's all."

"Ouch," Weiss comments.

"That's a bit mean," Ruby adds.

"It tried to kill me!" Rose exclaims.

"It was after me, not you," the Doctor corrects. "Last night, in the shop, I was there, you blundered in, almost ruined the whole thing!" He holds up the appendage, "this morning, I was tracking it down, it was tracking me down. The only reason it fixed on you is because you met me."

"So what you're saying is that the entire world revolves around you?"

"Sort of, yeah!"

"You're so full of it!"

"Sort of, yeah!"

They walk a few more feet before Rose asks, "all this plastic stuff, who else knows about it?"

"No one."

"What, so you're on your own?"

"Well, who else is there?" He asks. "I mean, you lot, all you do is eat chips, go to bed, and watch telly, while all the time, beneath you, there's this war going on."

Yang laughs, "nothing like that happens on Remnant, right?"

The Librarian doesn't answer.

"Wait, there is?" Weiss asks.

"Let's just keep watching," the Librarian offers.

Rose reaches over and grabs the arm, "okay. Start from the beginning."

The Doctor shrugs his shoulders and groans.

"I mean, if we're going with the living plastic, and I don't even believe that, but if we do… How did you kill it?"

"The thing controlling it projects life into the arm," he explains. "I cut off the signal. Dead."

"Like a wireless signal!" Blake realizes.

"Like RedTusk?" Ruby asks. [1]

Blake nods.

"So that's radio control," Rose summarizes.

The Doctor shakes his head. "Thought control," he corrects. He turns to Rose and asks, "you all right?"

Rose nods. "Yeah. So, who's controlling it then?"

"Long story."

"What's it all for?" They turn a corner onto a side road. "I mean, shop window dummies? What's that all about? Is someone trying to take over all of Britain's shops?"

The Doctor chuckles and Rose joins in.

"No."

"Well, no," Rose repeats.

"It's not a price war." They laugh for a moment. "They want to overthrow the human race and destroy you."

Ruby and Yang laugh. "Right! Like that'll happen." They turn to the Librarian and see that he isn't laughing.

"He's serious?" Blake asks.

The Librarian smiles, "yep. But every other weekday is another failed invasion. I swear, Earthlings have a target on their backs reading 'kill us!'"

"Huh. That sounds… eventful," Weiss comments.

"Do you believe me?" The Doctor asks.

"No," Rose responds, half-lying.

"But you're still listening."

Rose stops as he continues walking forward. "Really though, Doctor, tell me, who are you?"

The Doctor turns around, facing the blonde. A large blue police box is visible in the background. "Do you know like we were saying? About the Earth revolving?" Rose remains silent and the Doctor walks up to her. "It's like when you're a kid. The first time they tell you that the world's turning and you just can't quite believe it 'cause everything looks like it's standing still.

The Doctor grabs Rose's hand and looks off to the side, staring into the air next to Rose. "I can feel it," he continues. "The turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at 1,000 miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at 67,000 miles an hour. I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me. Clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go…" The Doctor lets go of Rose's hand.

"That's who I am," he finishes, turning back to the blonde. "Now forget me, Rose Tyler." He takes the arm from her hand and waves it. "Now, go home." He walks away, towards the blue box. Rose slowly turns back, periodically glancing at the strange man. As the Doctor reaches his box, he slides a key into a slot and steps inside. Rose continues to return home, turning once more as she hears a soft mechanical wheezing sound.

Ruby's eyes go wide. "Isn't that the same noise your T.A.R.D.I.S made when you landed here?"

The Librarian nods. "Yep!"

"Then, his T.A.R.D.I.S operates like yours?" Weiss asks.

"Pretty much. My exterior is actually a homage to his. I disable the chameleon when I came over."

"Chameleon... Circuit?" Blake asks, thinking about one of her childhood friends, a chameleon Faunus. "So it changes how it looks?"

"It allows me to disguise it as anything in the world or time-period I'm in."

"So… a paint job?" Yang asks.

"Exactly."

Rose runs back to the corner where she last saw the man, but the police box, and the Doctor inside, had vanished.

The screen changes to the inside of an apartment, where Mickey answers the door, wearing only boxers and a t-shirt, to Rose.

Weiss covers her eyes. "Put on some pants!"

Mickey chuckles. "Hey, here's my woman! Kit off."

Rose kisses him, "oh, shut up.

"Coffee?" he offers.

"Yeah, only if you wash the mug. And I don't mean rinse, I mean wash."

Blake scrunches her nose, "disgusting."

"Can I use your computer?" She asks.

"Yeah," Mickey complies, stepping into the kitchen. "Any excuse to get you in the bedroom." As Mickey reaches for a mug he turns back to Rose, yelling, "don't read my emails!"

Rose sits down in front of the computer, searching the word 'doctor'. This search comes up with over 17 million results, however.

"I think she needs to narrow it down a tad," Weiss offers.

"Try 'blue box'?" Ruby offers.

Typing quickly, Rose adds 'living plastic' to the search, dropping the results to only 55 thousand, three hundred. She backspaces and replaces her last edits with 'blue box'.

"Yay!" Ruby squeals, earning a head pat from the Librarian.

This search only has 493 results, with the first labeled as 'Doctor Who?' Rose clicks this link, revealing a very pixelated image of the Doctor with the caption 'Have you seen this man? Contact Clive'.

'Contact Clive'?" Blake asks, "that's not much to go on."'

"I've tried finding someone with less," Yang offers. "But… I haven't had much luck since."

The Librarian sighs, "maybe I can help with that later."

"Really?" Yang's face brightens. "Thank you!"

The screen jumps again, showing a yellow car pulling up onto a street.

"You're not coming in," Rose orders. "He's safe. He's got a wife and kids."

The Librarian leans down next to Blake. "I think they found Clive with not much to go on." This earned him another slap to the back of the head.

"I'll shut up now," he surrenders.

"Yeah, who told you that? He did. That's exactly what an internet lunatic murderer would say."

Rose rolls her eyes and gets out of the car, slamming the door shut. Mickey sighs as he watches his girlfriend running off, pausing to look at one of the neighbors setting out his trash can. He straightens his jacket, then turns to where he can more easily see Rose on the steps to Clive's house.

Rose knocks on the door, only to be answered by a young boy.

"Um, hello?" Rose starts, "I've come to see Clive. We've been emailing."

The boy turns to the inside of the house, yelling, "oh, dad! It's one of your nutters!"

Blake bristles. "That's rude."

Ruby nods, "yeah, Rose is here to learn about a strange man in a blue box who saved her life from living mannequins."

Her friends turn to her.

"I heard it," Ruby blushes.

The boy runs inside as Clive steps out. He holds out a hand to shake, stating "sorry, hello! You must be Rose. I'm Clive. Obviously."

Rose shakes his hand. "I'd better tell you now, my boyfriend's in the car." Rose turns and points to the bright yellow vehicle. "Just in case you're gonna kill me."

Mickey rolls down his window and Clive laughs. "No, good point! No murderers!" Clive waves at Mickey, who nods a warning.

"Who is it?" A woman calls out from inside the house.

Clive turns to the interior of his house, "oh it's something to do with the Doctor. She's been reading the website." Clive turns back to Rose and steps to the side, ushering her in. "Please come through, I'm in the shed."

Weiss rolls her eyes, "totally not something a murderer would say."

"Actually, it would be more likely that he would try to lead her into a safe area then knock her unconscious," the Librarian explained.

Blake nods in agreement, having seen such things happen in White Fang missions.

"And how do you know this?" Yang asks.

The Librarian chuckles. "I watch a lot of movies?"

Weiss glares at the Librarian.

As Clive leads Rose through the house, the woman from earlier steps down the stairs holding a laundry basket. "She? She's read a website about the Doctor? She's a she?" The woman chuckles as she closes the door.

Inside the shed, Clive walks over to a large shelf of items. "A lot of this stuff is quite sensitive. I couldn't just send it to you. People might intercept… if you know what I mean."

Clive pulls out a large folder. "If you dig deep enough, and keep a lively mind, this Doctor keeps cropping up all over the place." He walks over to Rose, listing "political diaries, conspiracy theories, even ghost stories." Clive sets down the folder and opens it, "no first name, no last name, just 'the Doctor'... Always, the Doctor. And the title seems to be passed down from father to son, it appears to be an inheritance."

The conspiracy nut turns and points to a photograph on his computer. "That's your Doctor, isn't it?"

Rose turns and looks at the screen, showing the same image from earlier. "Yeah," she certifies and turns back to the man.

"I tracked it down to the Washington Public Archive, just last year. The online photo's enhanced, but if we look at the original…" Clive pulls out a photograph depicting the Doctor in the center of the crowd. In the center of the photograph was a man waving to the other side of the photograph, sitting on an open-top car.

The Librarian stiffens and clenches his fists. "The assassination of President John F. Kennedy."

"Who?" Ruby asks.

"Was he important?" Weiss questions.

"The 35th president of the United States of America, my home. He's sort of a king."

"But he's… not?" Yang clarifies.

The Librarian nods. "America doesn't have the best history of kings. Instead, we have presidents. They are in office for 4-year terms, elected by the people, and can only be elected twice. He was one of four presidents to be assassinated."

"That's… horrible," Ruby gasps.

Weiss pats the Librarian on the shoulder, "I'm sorry such a devastating thing happened in your history."

The Librarian smiles at the Ice Queen. "Thank you."

"November 22nd, 1963. 42 years ago."

Team RWBY whistles.

Yang chuckles, "he looks pretty good for someone pushing his late 50's.

"Must be his father," Rose rationalizes.

Clive sets down the photo and runs to another shelf. "Going further back, April 1912. This is a photograph of the Daniel's family in Southampton, and friend." Clive points to a figure on the right bearing a good resemblance to the Doctor. "Taken the day before they were due to set sail to the new world. On the Titanic. And for some unknown reason, they canceled the trip, and survived."

"Survived?" Blake asks, turning back to their Earth-history specialist.

He sighs, "the Titanic was a ship that was declared 'unsinkable'. Sadly, its name didn't live up to the truth. During the voyage, the ship encountered an iceberg and sank. In ice-cold waters and a shrinking cruise liner, over 1,500 people died. Men, women, and children all froze, drowned, and sank to death."

"Oh… my gods…" Yang breathed.

"That's… terrifying," Blake added.

Ruby frowns and a tear rolls down her eye. "So… the Doctor. He saved that family?"

The Librarian nods. "It would appear so."

"Then why didn't he save everyone?! If he knew what was going to happen, why didn't he do anything to stop it?"

The Librarian looks Ruby in the eye. "Sometimes, things need to happen a certain way, and not every life can be saved. But it's important to save as many as you can, and remember those who can't. Understand?"

Ruby whimpers under his gaze and nods, then slowly turned back to the screen.

Clive turns to another corner of his shed, prying a paper from the wall. "And here we are, 1883, another Doctor. Look, the same lineage. He's identical. This one washed up on the coast of Sumatra, and the very night the Krakatoa exploded.

"Do I… even want to know?" Weiss asks.

The Librarian shakes his head. "Krakatoa was a volcano that exploded, sending ash, lava, and smoke into the air."

"How many people died?" Blake asks.

The Librarian pauses. "Over 36 thousand."

"That's… that's…"

Blake does the math in her head, "that's about 8 Amity Coliseums."

Even Yang goes slack-jawed. "Oh, my gods."

"The Doctor is a legend woven throughout history," Clive comments. "When disaster comes, he's there. He brings the storm in his wake."

"Or he tries to warn people about it," Ruby offers.

"And he has one constant companion," Clive continues.

"Who's that?" Rose asks.

"Death," Clive responded solemnly."

"Well, that seems… grim. Eh?!" Yang jokes.

Blake smacks her upside the head. "I didn't know your planet had such a depressing history."

The Librarian's face darkens. "To be honest… those aren't even the worst things that have happened."

"WHAT?!" Weiss exclaims. "What can be worse than the volcanic explosion?!"

"Pray you never find out," he whispers. The Librarian then shakes his head and smiles, "but that's why I brought you here. What do you all think about Doctor Who so far?"

"I really hope we get to find out how the Doctor knows about those catastrophes.," Blake comments.

Yang smiles, "I want to see more action!"

"Even with mannequins?" The Librarian jokes.

She shudders, "maybe."

"I want to see more of that sonic screwdriver!" Ruby exclaims.

The Librarian laughs. "If you're good, I might get you one." Ruby squeals.

"I want to learn more of this… Earth," Weiss states.

The Librarian smiles, "I'll teach you everything you need to know." He looks at the girls around him and asks, "is everybody ready?"

"Yeah!"

"Well then, hobey-ho! Let's go!"

[1] RedTusk is a play on BlueTooth

Well, well, well. The first part of the first episode. I really like writing the parts about history (it is my favorite subject).

Also, WOW! Over 200 views with one chapter?! If you all wanted a crossover like this for so long, you should have asked!

In case you didn't realize, I'm trying to write the viewing as if team RWBY was. They wouldn't know certain things that someone else (the Librarian) would.

How do you guys like it so far? I'm sorry I can't write faster, but I do have two other stories, and I'm now in the fall semester. Please understand I will try to write these at scheduled times, but not everything can be planned for.

ZBlader: Thank you very much. I'm sorry I was unaware of this, but to be honest, it doesn't really change anything. Halloween doesn't (or shouldn't) exist on Remnant, so it would be just like any other day.

KatanaoftheBlade: So glad you are reading this! You got me into the whole 'RWBY watches the _' franchise. I hope you give me the chance to change your mind.

MidKnightMoonglow99: I'm glad I can give you what you've been wanting! There will definitely be more to this than just reactions, but I'll probably do them between discs.

Guest1: I'm sorry, but please do see above. However, I will try to go faster with this. But please check my profile to see update dates.

Adislt: They definitely would be! But it would take a while because they have to get used to Christopher or David. Also, they are starting on Rose so...

Megan00: Thank you very much for the compliment, but it's not just going to be a one-shot for long. I'm glad you liked how I began it.
