Unknown - I've thought about it. There will probably be times RWBY will bump into 'people' they recognize, as I plan to take them to realities that have some of the people from Doctor Who acting in other forms of media. Gwyneth might be difficult, as I only (off the top of my head) know her in Torchwood, which I have not actually seen. However, and keep in mind this isn't set in stone, what if RWBY went to the world of Hogwarts in the Triwizard Tournament and met a David-Tennant-looking Barty Crouch Jr? Mwahahahaha.

Carre - Will do! *Returned thumbs up*

The Librarian set down the remote and clapped his hands. As he did, the lights turned back on, earning a few groans from team RWBY. "So," he asks as they utter complaints about the brightness of normal lighting. "What did you think?"

Blinking, Weiss responds first. "I think… The Doctor is meant to show how one must act in a time of crisis. He was wrong about the Gelth, but he was tricked."

Blake nods in agreement, "exactly. The Doctor isn't infallible. He's almost…"

"Human," Ruby finishes. "He's human. Well, as human as an alien can be."

"Yeah, about that," Yang asks, "what exactly is different about him than normal humans?"

The Librarian stifles a yawn and stretches, waving at his companions to follow him. "Physically speaking? Not much," he answers as they head to the slip-slope controls. "Two-hearts, mainly."

The members of team RWBY stop suddenly.

"Wait, what?" Yang asks.

Smirking, the Librarian slides his hand along the controls. "Time Lords have two hearts, physiologically. And I like to think the Doctor's hearts care more for everyone than very few I have known."

"How many?" Ruby interjects with wide eyes.

"How many what?"

"How many heroes have you met?"

The Librarian's smile flickers for a bit. "The Doctor isn't a hero, he's just a man wanting to do what he thinks is right at that moment."

Weiss rolls her eyes. "You're avoiding the question."

Sighing, the traveler answers, "I'm… not sure. I could even say I've never met a single one or I could argue nearly everyone I've met has enough righteousness in their hearts to be a hero." He turns to the four women and smiles. "However, I can tell you four will most definitely be heroes."

As the girls give smiles in thanks, the Librarian presses his hand on the control panel, activating the tube. A few moments later (as well as squeals of excitement), they all find themselves back in the main console room. With gusto, the Librarian begins to press at buttons and flips switches.

"What's going on?" Blake asks, studying the Librarian's actions.

"Sleep mode," he answers. "With it on, the T.A.R.D.I.S shuts down everything nonessential and keeps us in stasis. I picked you four up in the evening and you just spent the last two-plus hours watching TV. I think certain members of this party need their rest." He nods to Ruby, who is yawning openly, and Weiss, who is hiding one behind her hand. With one last lever, the lights begin to dim, replacing the red with a warm orange.

"Goodnight, sir," ELI's voice whispers.

The Librarian nods. "Goodnight."

Weiss, realizing she was caught in the act, pretends to look at her wrist. "I suppose it is getting rather late."

The Librarian chuckles to himself, noticing the lack of a watch on her arm. "Yes. You remember where your rooms are, yes?"

Yang looks down one of the many halls breaking away from the console room. "That way, right?"

"Kinda. The T.A.R.D.I.S is able to sense where you want to go. You could go any direction, think of your destination, and still end up there together." The Librarian explains.

Instantly, Ruby leaps to the side, diving down one of the side halls. A few moments, she comes running from the hallway Yang had pointed to.

"Whoa!" she exclaims, eyes wide. "That's awesome!"

"Travels through time, space, and the multiverse," the Librarian mumbles, "but the doors are what get them excited." He begins ushering the four young women toward their rooms. "Get some rest, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

Weiss glances back at him. "More of the Doctor?"

"Among other things," he replies with a wink before walking back to the main console room.

That night, Ruby couldn't sleep. Every second that ticked past wasn't met with dreams, but open eyes. While her bed was, in fact, the comfiest she's ever slept in, something was missing.

Ruby had changed into her night-wear. Thankfully, she had decided to include a few multiple sets of clothing when the Librarian dropped her and her teammates back in their dorm. Among that, she included multiple other outfits, her birthday presents, and all the tools she would need to maintain Crescent Rose. Most of which were now scattered across her new desk.

Speaking of the room, it was amazing. It was the size of her normal room back in Beacon but strangely felt larger than it. There was a closet in the corner for her clothes, and a weapons locker next to hit. Two desks were also available, one covered in blank blueprints and scorch marks, while the other was wooden and blank.

Shelves lined the walls as well. Some of them already had things upon them, which confused Ruby, but she hadn't gotten the chance to get a good look at them yet. But she definitely would tomorrow (or so she hoped). To top it all off, a tall wooden bed stood in the corner with her rose emblem embroidered across the top.

Knock knock knock.

Having the excuse to get up, Ruby leaped out of her bed and tossed the covers down. "Who's there?" She asked in a loud whisper through the door, pressing her ear against the metal.

"There are only four other people on this thing you dolt," she heard in reply. "Now open the door."

Ruby smiled as she opened the door for Weiss. Orange light from the halfway shed into her room as she did, leaving the figure of her partner completely visible. The heiress wasn't alone, carrying pillows and blankets behind her.

"What's wrong?" Ruby asked, stepping to the side as Weiss stepped inside. "Nothing," Weiss responded. "I just… I felt it would be safer if we didn't split ourselves into such small groups in this new circumstance."

Smiling, Ruby giggled. "You couldn't sleep could you?"

Weiss' face turned a bright shade of red. "N-no! Schnees do not-"

"Room for two more?"

The red and white-clad members of team RWBY jumped, reaching for weapons not on their persons. Behind them, Yang and Blake stood in the doorway. Like Weiss, they also held an assortment of blankets. However, the shape of one of Blake's pillowcases indicated a small collection of books were hidden inside.

"Of course!" Ruby answers. They quickly step forward and start placing their blankets on the floor, arranging them so everyone has enough room. Even Ruby, who has a bed, elects to sleep on the floor with the rest of her team. Shortly enough, Red, white, black, then yellow all circled the center-most area of the room.

Yang looks at the desks and the empty weapons cache. "All I got was some boxing gear and a poster about a guy named John Cena."

"Like the tree?"

"That's cedar," Weiss corrected. "My room isn't too different from Ruby's but with more focus on Dust and mineralogy."

Smirking Yang turns to Blake. "What about you?" She asks. "I bet your room is just covered in bookshelves and kitty toys."

The Faunus growls at Yang but doesn't claim otherwise. Instead, she turns to Ruby and states, "we're really going to do this?"

Ruby nods enthusiastically. "Heck yeah! Traveling with the Librarian is going to be amazing!"

Surprisingly, Weiss nods as well. "Strangely, I find myself trusting this man. He's been open with us, too open, but I feel safe here."

"Me too," Yang adds. "But I just realized something." The blonde holds up her hand and something glitters and shines in the orange glow. "I was too high on adrenaline to really think about it. Especially after that race… But how-" she dangles the object, the key to her bike, in front of her, "-did he have Bumblebee?"

"Didn't he say it's an exact model?" Weiss asks.

Yang nods. "Yeah, but how exact is it? I mean, it felt like BB, not a copy. The seat, the handles, I swear it was almost like the real thing."

"I… I know what you mean."

Everyone turns to Ruby who is now on the floor and curled up in her blankets. With her eyes open, she stares unblinkingly at the ceiling. "When we first got here, when everyone was setting up their rooms, I went exploring. And I think I found his armory. But there was a thing I could use to upgrade Crescent Rose."

"What's wrong about that?" Blake frowns. "Most of our teachers at Beacon made weapon modification schematics for us."

Ruby sighs. "Yeah, but these were my modifications. Ones I was saving up lien for. Every idea I had was on there." She turns to the side, facing her team. "Is that weird?"

"..."

"I think we can trust him," Weiss responds.

Yang gasps comically. "You? Trust? No!" This earns the blonde a slap on the arm and a few giggles.

"What I meant to say," she continues, "is that Blake told me he, the Librarian, is just being kind. And… I agree. The Librarian seems to be kind for no other reason than to just be. Maybe he's doing it because the Doctor is, I don't know." She turns to her team. "But I think he is a good person."

Blake nods, "he said he would try to help me with Ad- the White Fang. I don't think he's lying about that either."

"So… we're still sticking with this?" Ruby asks.

Each member of team RWBY gives an equally enthusiastic reply of agreement.

"Good," Ruby smiles, jumping up and grabbing her gift from the desktop. "Because if I'd have to arrest all three of ya for treason if you tried to turn around on this."

Weiss rolls her eyes. "And on whose authority do you have that ability?"

Holding out her psychic paper, the red-hooded girl gives a proud guffaw. "By the authority of this Huntswomen license!" Ruby feels the wallet get ripped from her hand and giggles as her partner studies it. Almost as quickly, Blake and Yang leap up and lean over Weiss' shoulder.

"There's no way," Weiss mumbles, gripping it tightly. "This… This has to be a fake!"

Blake's eyes go wide. "No… It's psychic paper."

Laughing loudly now, Ruby does her best to dodge a pillow from Weiss' corner of the floor. "I never said it wasn't!"

"So my little sister thinks she can pull a fast one on me, eh?" Yang whispers, picking up two pillows and wrapping them around her hands. "Well, she's got another thing coming!" With a yell, the blonde gives a (weak) punch at her leader before 'accidentally' smacking Blake across the face.

The Faunus doesn't even flinch. Instead, she picks up another pillow and a sheet. With a crack, the blanket twirls around itself into something more resembling a cord. "Xiao-Long," she utters in a sweat tone. "I may not start it-"

"But I'll get more carried away!" Ruby exclaims, pulling out more pillows from her closet and tossing them in random directions.

Weiss grabs one from midair and inspects it, a small smile on her face. "Then I'll finish it."

The rest of the night was filled with squeals and cheers from Ruby's room as team RWBY celebrates their first night aboard the Librarian's T.A.R.D.I.S.

For the Librarian, the night was almost too long. After dropping off his guest's into their rooms, he spent the next few hours finally able to view the last half of his friend's tale thus far. He watched as Ruby and her friends defeated Ironwood, freeing the second Relic from its imprisonment.

He watched as Penny sacrificed herself so Cinder couldn't receive the Maiden's powers.

And he watched as they fell into the dimensional void.

Where does that go? He wondered as he settled back into the console room. He never slept anywhere else. Why couldn't I track them through there? And why is it the barrier never lets me see enough!?

The Librarian tosses his jacket onto the control console and rests his head on one of the railings, leaning back in a chair. "Can you hear me?" He asked no one. "Can we really do it? Is it truly possible?" A moment passes, filled only with the soft whirls and blinks of the control console.

Sighing, he mumbles. "Maybe I am just being optimistic." The Librarian lifts up his left arm and grabs his watch by the face. With a sharp twist, it pops off, the band folding into itself. Underneath the watch, a tattoo is completely hidden on his wrist. It wasn't much, a single symbolic character.

"I'll do it right this time," he whispered. "I promise." The Librarian cast another glance at the console and the secret compartment that lines within it. He remembers the photograph and petal hidden inside.

It was one of many secrets he kept. Should I tell them? What I am, who I am? No… I can't go down that path again. The Librarian tosses the watch onto the console and turns, laying on his arm as he closes his eyes.

Perhaps it's the god's domain, he thought as dreams overtook him. Perhaps they'll find some help.

Perhaps…

A fairly short chapter this time guys, I'm sorry. A lot is going on in my personal life right now and it's not making things easy. Finals are here (which is probably why views are down) and I'm also moving across the country. Not to mention trying to get a job and apply for another college.

And I'm having to leave behind the love of my life on the completely opposite side of the Americas. So yeah, things are a little rough on me right now.

But that has nothing to do with this, was just venting. Sorry.

I realize this chapter is shorter than usual, even for the little mini-chapters I usually do. However, I plan to do another mini-chapter next so I apologize for any of those just interested in the review aspect of this Fic.

The next chapter will mainly involve them waking up and getting ready for the next episode (really two since it's the first 2-parter in Series 1). But there will be a new character to join up with us. And it's an actual character, not someone like ELI.
