Dakota High School. Most of the students genuinely enjoyed some part of school whether it be something simple like lunchtime something athletic like gym time or there was just a favorite curriculum that they enjoy taking and wanted to pursue it later on in life, there was however that one class that over 90% of the student body all agreed was their least favorite class. Mr. Lawrence of seventh period would be the teacher of such a class.

"Now then, In triangle ABC, the measure of B is 90, BC=16, and AC=20. Triangle DEF is similar to triangle ABC, where vertices D, E, and F correspond to vertices A, B, and C, respectively, and each side of triangle DEF is 1 over 3 the length of the corresponding side of triangle ABC. What is the value of sinF?" the teacher asked in a low monotone that that sounded about as bored as the class was, looking over his class he saw a few with their books up but he quickly took notice of the fact that their hand seem to be moving just out of view hinting that they were most likely on their cell phones, others were blatantly not paying attention while a few actually seem to be trying but they didn't seem to be putting forth that much effort into his question.

This wasn't anything new to him however what did put a frown on his face was one student far back, Virgil Hawkins. One of the best student in the school yet at the same time the worst student when it came to attendances, currently he had his head laid out on his desk clearly sleeping with his friend Frieda Goren looking over him worriedly.

"Mister Hawkings!" Mr. Lawrence said raising his voice a slight notch though for him it still sounded roughly the same as a result Virgil didn't stir from his sleep at all causing his frown to deepen, he gave a short glare look at Frieda who gave a nervous smile in return before giving her friend a quick shake arising him from his rest.

"What, what happened is school out yet?" Virgil yawn raising his head off the desk still looking very fairly sleepy at Freda she simply pointed ahead of them to Mr. Lawrence who gave him a dry expression.

"Mister Hawkins since my classes is so easy that you can sleep why don't you give us the answer to this question. What is the value of sinF?" asked he didn't bother explaining the question figuring it this would be a valuable lesson for Virgil to not fall asleep in future classes, Virgil took all of three seconds to look at the equation then sigh and his head drop back on his desk.

"It 3 over 5 or 0.6." Mr. Lawrence blinked in surprise at Virgil getting the answer right and without appearing to put forth any real effort and thought to retrieve said answer.

"Yes that is correct... but how did you find it without actually listening to the lesson I just put forth?" Lawrence asked somewhat hoping that Virgil had somehow gotten a hold of today's curriculum rather than him just being that's smart... his hopes were immediately dashed.

"It simple really, all I had to do is figure out that Triangle ABC is a right triangle with its right angle at B. Therefore, AC is the hypotenuse of right triangle ABC, and AB and BC are the legs of right triangle ABC. According to the Pythagorean theorem, AB = 20'2' - 16'2' = 400 256 = 144 = 12. Since triangle DEF is similar to triangle ABC, with vertex F corresponding to vertex C, the measure of angle Equals the measure of angle C. Therefore, sinF=sinC. From the side lengths of triangle ABC, sinF = opposite side over hypotenuse = AB over AC = 12 over 20 = 3 over 5."

"Therefore, sinF= 3 over 5." Virgil explain, all eyes were on him and stun on awe, as Mr. Lawrence looked at him speechless for a full minute finally regaining himself he cleared his throat and turn back to the Blackboard.

"Very good Mr. Hawkins but for future references please pay more attention in class, you can't depend on your in-depth knowledge forever." Mister Laurence grunted.

"Roger Wilco, my bad. I'll take it under it advisement." Virgil's muffler voice barely was heard, Mr. Lawrence didn't even need to look behind him to know that the student was once again soundly sleeping, this wasn't the first time he tried to catch Virgil off-guard with an advanced question when he was found sleeping in class and like always Virgil always seem to have the answer, he wasn't even the only teacher to try this or the only class that Virgil slept through. If not for Virgil's horrible attendances record he be the perfect student, he had all A's in his class's and many of the teachers including him were beginning to suspect that he was doing all his work ahead of time due to the fact that any assignment that he missed due to being not in class or on time he still seem to be able to turn in on time.

(I think it's about time I brought this up to the principal, this can't keep going on.) he thought as Frieda look down at her friend and chuckle.

After classes had ended Virgil and Frieda could be seen walking out the main building door with the former slightly more awake. Let it be known Virgil wasn't sleeping in classes for the fun of it, after the matter with Atlantis had been settled things for the Justice League had been busy non-stop for the last 3 weeks.

First day afterwords being an earthquake in California that had caused a portion of it to sink into a the sea leaving thoisands seemingly dead and evemore injured so they were needed to help out with that, then there was a new drug ring that had needed to be taken out in New York, then there was another mass kidnapping in Texas only this time it wasn't as cut-and-dry as the time when all Static had to do was track down a run down boat carrying a bunch of kids, it had taken a good week before they finally managed to locate the group of kids that have been kidnapped.

Also once again all signs pointed towards Lexcorp though there wasn't enough evidence too convicted Lex Luthor so that had been hard to take, even with everything that was happening Virgil had still managed to stay up to date with all his school work and turn in all his assignments even if he wasn't actually there most of the time.

"So Virgil, want to hit Burger King and grab a bite to eat it's been awhile since the two of us have just you know hung out." Frieda ask flicking a strained of hair behind her ear with a slightly shy expression about her.

"I'd love to but I-" "Gang way!" the loud voice of Richie Foley shouted as suddenly he zoomed over head's of Virgil and Frieda frightening them nearly to death!

"Richie what the hell!? I told not to bring those to school dammit!" Frieda shouted at the blonde haired boy landing in front of them, Virgil quickly take notice of his foot wear with a surprise expression.

"Whoa... are those rocket power skates?" Virgil asked stun by the site of them on Richie who grinned.

"Yep, just finished them. Hey when ever your free hit me up, I got this cool new place I want to show you." Richie stated then faster then they could act he blasted off leaving many students stun in awe and Frieda annoyed.

"There he goes again, 'sigh' I better go catch up with him at his man cave and make sure he doesn't blow himself up... again." Frieda sigh in a tire tone causing Virgil's eye brows to shoot up into his dread locks.

"Whoa, wait a minute! What do you mean by, again?" Virgil ask in confusion.

"Well... you know how your a A to A plus student and Richie use to be a C to 'If he lucky' B minus student?" Frieda asked and Virgil nodded.

"Yeah... and?" Virgil question.

"Well lately his brain his gone into overdrive. Suddenly he passing all his classes without even trying and making weird tech out of basically nothing!" Frieda exclaimed turning to Virgil looking slightly frantic now.

"Umm. Over exaggerating much?" Virgil said taking a step back as threw her hand in the air exasperation.

"I'm serious Virgil, some of the things he making are so off the wall that it crazy! Plus he went from barely understanding pre-algebra to giving me lessons on trigonometry and calculus!" Frieda stated trying to get him to understand where she was coming from.

"Yeah so, I can do the same thing, and?" Virgil ask both now moving away from the school.

"True but here the thing, you have always been one of the smartest students 'if not the smartest' in the school. You know more then most of the teachers. Everyone knows that, but Richie has always been an average student and suddenly he comparable to you? I'm really worry about him." Frieda said as the reach the end of the block from the school.

"Okay, listen if something is wrong with Richie we'll be there for him. I promise." Virgil said trying to console her, Frieda sigh as she look at him tiredly.

"I'd believe that more if your were around a little more often." Frieda said with a slight bitterness in her voice causing Virgil to look away guilty.

"Sorry about that but things have gotten a little complicated... maybe someday I'll tell you." Virgil said trying to comforts, Frieda look at him for a moment and nodded.

"I'll hold you to that, in the mean time why don't you come with me to Richie's new man cave." Frieda said stopping and turning to him with a look that almost seem like she was daring him to try and refuse, Virgil chuckle and back up one step nervously.

"Yeah, as much as I'd like to..." "VIRGIL!" Frieda exclaimed in fury that he was once again trying to blow them off as he held up his hands in defense.

"Hey, it not what you think, I got to go check on Madelyn!" Virgil stated causing Frieda to calm down and her voice to soften.

"Madelyn...? She didn't come to class today, did something happen?" Frieda asked and this time Virgil sighed.

"It not something major... I hope. But ya know how she been dealing with chronic headaches?" Virgil asked and Frieda nodded.

"Yeah, it started about half a year ago right? In classes I saw that they were coming in more and more frequently." Frieda said.

"Yeah, not just frequently, her migraines are becoming more and more painful. The one she had this morning was so bad she couldn't even move yet alone make it to class." Virgil told her, Frieda felt a lot less angry now, Madelyn and her wasn't as close as she was to Virgil and Richie but she did see the girl as a friend.

"Will she be okay?" Frieda asked and Virgil shrugged haplessly.

"I hope so, I know ya want me to go to Richie's place but..." Virgil trail off, Frieda take a deep breath then breath out in resignation.

"No it fine, go check on your... girlfriend, okay... just try to make some time for your friends will ya." Frieda said giving a sad smile, Virgil simply nodded. The two kept walking together before going their separated ways each with worry for someone on their mind's.

Madelyn was not having a good day, lying on her bed with a pillow on her forehead she tried to listen in on the news playing on her TV but seeing as a throbbing burst of pain would shoot into her brain ever few minutes it was not ease.

'In other news another break in, in the Alvin Industries Tech labs has been reported.' Madelyn frown, the attacks had been happening a lot more in the past few weeks.

'Where as before it was done by giant robots these new attacks seem to be done by a group of Bang Baby's who are good at covering their track with the latest resulting in major injuries.'

'The police say they have it under control with it M.H.D.D. but many are wondering if it might be time to remind Static Shock of his responsibilities to Dakota' Madelyn got a good chuckle out of that, then wrenched at a jolt of pain popping up in her head.

'Maybe it is, where once he was wholly focused on Dakota's safety it seems when the M.H.D.D. was formed after the formation of the Justice League he left most matters to them... and they haven't been doing a good job.'

"Well that was harsh." Madelyn mused with a slight giggle as the News host went on.

'Indeed while it understandable that his work in the Justice League is impotent Static mustn't forget that his home come first.' Madelyn chuckle at that and turn off the T.V. before reaching across her bed for the Tylenol bottle on it, only for it to be pick up by Virgil.

"Yo, you feeling any better?" Virgil asked taking a seat at on the side on the bed and twisted the cap off. Madelyn grown and rolled over towards him.

"I must be dying if I missed that massive white noise your brain is making." Madelyn groan slightly opening her mouth to allow him to drop two Tylenol tablets in then giving her a sip of water to wash them down.

"That bad huh?" Virgil said fixing her pillow.

"It feels like a jackhammer is going off in my head." Madelyn replied tiredly, "I can't even get any sleep because of the pain some times." she replied groaning from another sharp pain burst in her head causing her to grab her head twisting about, Virgil watching this couldn't help terrible about seeing her in such pain.

"Madelyn... it seems like these headaches are getting worse, it might be time to go to a doctor about this." Virgil said quietly only to get a withering glare from Madelyn, "You know damn well why I ain't going to any doctor!" she hissed at him sitting up only to drop back on the bed at a bout of pain in her temple.

"Ease, I know but if this keeps up." Virgil trailed off in worry, the reason Madelyn was so against going to the doctor was because these mega headaches of her were in fact tied to her telepathy, it was unknown why her powers we're acting up but they had been since the whole alien attack and had been getting much worse as the months went on.

"I know, if worse come to worse, I'm having a chit chat with that green friend of your since I'm pretty sure this is his fought." Madelyn grunted as she in the time she had her powers before hand she had been just fine but her run in with J'onn telepathy call for help they started acting up.

"Right, if they aren't gone with in a week, I'm taking you to J'onn." Virgil agreed knowing this couldn't go on much longer, seeing her in such a stated was killing him inside.

"Beside that have you seen the news lately? Things are getting bad." Madelyn said wanting to change the subject getting a raised eye brow from Virgil, "Mass amounts of tech is being stolen from Alvin Industries and including the alien tech that got transferred to them from Star Labs." now that got Virgil's attention.

"Well that not good, I'd better go look into that right away." Virgil muttered not wanting to even vision the type of trouble bad guys could cause with alien tech.

"Yeah, rumor has it, it being done by Bang Baby's... ya might want to have a talk Edwin Alva." Madelyn said and Virgil sigh, "Yeah, maybe later." Virgil muttered as Madelyn frown.

"Or maybe today, as in you could and I mean should have a talk with him after your visit with me." Madelyn countered looking at him with narrow eyes.

"I'd rather not-" Virgil paused at her giving him a sharp glare, "Virgil I know you don't like the guy but this is important." Madelyn stated only for him to glare back.

"Maddy! The guy was transporting Quantum Vapor! The very staff that gave us our powers but also killed countless people, and then rather then take responsibility he covered everything up!" Virgil growled, sitting up with some effort Madelyn gave him a hard look.

"Yes, that bad, but you want to know what could turn out worst? Morons running around with goddamn stolen Alien tech! Doing god knows what with it!" Madelyn nearly yelled, Virgil groan dropping his head in his hands.

"Okay, okay, you made your point... I'll go talk with Alvin." he sigh standing up before looking down at her, "You sure your okay though." Virgil asked once more, she gave him a soft smile.

"Things have gotten more... manageable now. Don't worry I'll be fine." Madelyn reply reassuringly, Virgil still felt a bit of worry for the girl but nodded all the same as he left.

After leaving leaving Madelyn's home and reaching an alley Virgil began ionizing the air surrounding him, creating his costume. This was a new power he discovered when was looking through Superman's rogues and came across Livewires, a supervillain with powers like his though unlike him she was made of pure energy, however their powers were close enough to were he thought he'd give it a try and after a bit of practices he manage to mimic it. Which was good since it made the thought of getting caught with his costume in his back pack much easier to deal with, after puttering his belt on and hooking the power rods to it he began charging his disk.

"Now if I can just figure out a way of making sure these guys don't get found." Static muttered looking at the three power rods and his gloves, they had tech mix into them meaning he couldn't break them down into energy like his clothing, slipping the gloves on Static hook the rods on his waist before jumping on his disk after charging it and flying off into the sky, Static pause for a moment as he always love the view of the city he got from the sky, it gave him a moment of peace... then it was back to reality.

"Well onward to Alvin Industries!" Virgil's lackluster voice ring out, "Alvin's huh, what are we doing there?" Virgil nearly fell off his disk at that voice and turn around to find the girl of steel floating behind him with a smile and a wave.

"Supergirl!? Where the heck did you come from?" Static asked, Supergirl just shrugged her shoulders, "Well with my, my cousin, and Steel looking after the city crimes been at an all time low." Supergirl stated floating to eye level with Static.

"Which is good and all but pretty boring for me, then I thought hey lets see what trouble I can get in with Static. Been looking for you an hour an and was about to give up when I saw you pop out of that alley." Supergirl stated, Static ruffled his dreads as he looked at the Girl of Steel unsure how to reply to that but then sigh.

"Well if you looking to give a helping hand then I'm all for it." Static said turning around as she grinned.

"Follow me I'll explain on the way." Static said as both flew off.

Edwin Alvin was not having a good day, dress in a expensive business suits with gray almost white hair he glare at the police and meta-human detainment division 'M.H.D.D' in his office wishing they would just leave as this was the fourth attack on one of his Labs and they had yet to find anything that might bring them closer to finding the culprits behind the attacks.

"Are we done here gentlemen I have work to do." he said dryly seeing this as a pointless meeting, "Just a few more words with the lab manager Mr. Alvin then we'll-" 'TAP' 'TAP' 'TAP' turning around they were all left speechless at seeing Static floating out side his window... with Supergirl by his side.

"Well, at least someone of use has showed up." Alvin muttered walking over to the window and opening it, allowing Static and Supergirl to hover in.

"Well now gentlemen, as you can see I have new guest to attend to so if you please, the door is open for you to leave." Alvin stated getting startled expression.

"But Mister Alvin, we can handle this, there no need to get the Justice League in-" the Captain of the unit was cut off by a harsh glare from the CEO.

"No you clearly can't so stop wasting my time and get out!" he ordered in a cold voice, sulking they quickly left while giving Static and Supergirl the evil eye as the they headed out the door.

"Useless the lot of them, now then Static. I can take a guess as to why your here." Alvin spoke looking at the young pair of heroes.

"Sorry about that, now then. I can' believe I'm saying this but I glad you stop by Static." Alvin spoke with his hands behind his back, Static cross his arms while frowning at him.

"I see your people skills haven't gotten any better." Static commented yet Alvin just rolled his eyes at the boy.

"If they did their job right then I wouldn't have to count on people like you to pick up the slack." Alvin replied as Supergirl sigh while running her hand through her hair.

"You seem like a real gift for parties, you know that." Supergirl commented actually getting a dry smirk from Alvin, "So I've been told, now then how about we get down to business." Alvin offered walking towards his desk.

"Sure, the quicker I get the details the quicker I can get out of here." Static grumbled, Alvin nodded saying nothing of the teens hero's clear dislike for him, he once tried to have the boy killed for nearly outing him for causing the Big Bang and Alvin honestly care little for the young hero but at this moment he was of use.

"Very well, how can I help you?" Alvin asked taking a seat at his desk.

"Well you can start with telling us what happen." Supergirl said.

"At 9:47 AM morning there was a break in our labs department, we still don't know how they broke in but do to the fact the manage to loop our videos... however." Alvin opening up the lab top on his desk and began typing away.

"They looping system wasn't perfect and the one of them screwed up taking long then he was suppose to so our systems reset themselves." Alvin stated b ring up a video file, coming around his desk Static and Supergirl take a better look as the video play.

"Look Doc if you don't tell me where that damn rock is Things her going to get real nest real fast!" a young man in a trench coat growled as a lady in her early to mid 40s glared at him not backing down

"No way you delinquent! That rock as you call it is, a ION Matrix Crystal's, and if we can learn how it made we can push our own technology ahead by decades if not century's!" the lady growled.

"I won't let you take it!" she said evenly only to gasp when he suddenly grabbed her, "What are you doing! Get your hands off me!" she shouted as he began pulling her to a computer console, "It to bad doc, I was going to let you go if you just told me where it was but now, we're doing this the hard way!" he growled before phasing her arm all the way up to the elbow into the monitor.

"What the hell are you- AIIIIIEEEEEE!" suddenly let loose a ear splitting scream as he let up of her phasing her arm into the device! it was at that moment the video went black leaving a horrific Static and Supergirl looking at the blank screen.

"What the hell was that!?" Static asked looking at Alvin who sigh.

"Her name is Dr. Karen Robertson that man... Fade as he called is able to phase through matter with anything he touches." Alvin stated.

"Dr. Roberts refused and anger him so he phase her arm into the monitor... then let it go materializing said arm in place." Alvin said dryly.

"I get it. With all those circuits and electricity running trough it, it must have been very painful when he did that." Supergirl muttered in disgust as Static groan.

"Great we're dealing with a group of psychopaths." Static grunt as Alvin's eye's twitched.

"Actually I don't think harming her was part of the plan."Alvin said catching their attention.

"Before he could continue questioning her Dr. Karen Roberts stated that the rest of his accomplices showed up and they were very unhappy to see the harm he caused her saying that they had been order to cause the least amount of harm to all personnel in the building." Alvin stated.

"Okay so we got a hot head who causing trouble, we might be able to use that." Supergirl commented.

"Well beside that let me get a copy of all the video footage, there might be something on it that can help." Static said only to raise an eyebrows at being hand a small flash drive.

"I figure you'd come here sooner or later so I ready it for you." Alvin stated handing him the flash drive, "the sooner you track the down the sooner I can get my stolen tech back." he said turning around and heading for the seat of his desk, (Why does the idea of alien tech falling into this guys hand worry me?) Static thought sarcastically be Alvin handed a device to Supergirl cause her to look confused.

"I don't know iif it will help but we found this odd tech on one of the camera's. It not our so it may help with finding them." Alvin added, Supergirl said nothing as she looked device.

"I will cooperate follow with your investigation. But I'd rather it stay between just us... and if need be your friend here." Alvin said nodding towards Supergirl, Static understood right away, he didn't want the rest of the Justice League coming into play, that was fine by him Dakota was him home back yard and his responsibility to protect.

"Relax mister Alvin, we'll be more then enough to handle things from here." Supergirl said with a smirk happy for a chance to do something without adult supervision. It was one of the reason she often join Static, he did things on his own and the big wigs didn't seem to bother him that much about it.

"Right, well lets get going." Static said heading towards the open window, Alvin watch them go as he began thinking on his next step to make on finding out who it was that broke into his facility.

Wonder Woman turned in shock, seeing a little girl clinging to the branch of a nearby tree. She was screaming in fear as the high winds threatened to uproot her. Slowly the tree began to pull free from the ground. Seeing this, Wonder Woman zoomed towards the girl, grabbing her before her tree could fully begin falling.

"I've got you, little sister." she told the girl.

"You're not my sister." the girl informed her.

Wonder Woman just smiled, then took the girl down in front of a nearby apartment. There, a woman who looked like an older version of the girl looked up at the pair in release.

"Cassie!" the woman, clearly Cassie's mother, cried out in relief.

Wonder Woman set Cassie down on the apartment's stoop, allowing her to run into her mother's arms.

"Mommy!" she shouted, hugging her mother tightly.

"Don't ever run off like that again." her mother begged. "I was scared to death!"

"Sorry, mommy." Cassie apologized.

The mother just hugged her daughter again.

"I'm just glad you're safe." she said quietly, carrying her daughter inside.

Wonder Woman watched the scene, her mind taking her back to her own childhood and her mother loving embrace. These thoughts distracted her as a traffic light began shaking violently. Superman saw this and flew over to push her out of the way before it fell on top of her. The two landed a few feet away as Superman set her down.

"What happened?" He asked. "You're usually more careful than that."

"I'm sorry." she apologized. "I was just… thinking."

"About what?" Superman asked.

"My mother." she explained. "She used to say the planets revolved around me. She called me her little sun and stars."

She looked away, a guilty expression on her face.

"When I left Themyscira, it was against her wishes." she added. "I can only imagine what I've put her through."

"Then maybe you should go back and set things right." Superman suggested.

"What would I even say to her?" She questioned.

"Try the truth." He replied causing her to look at the ground.

"If only it were that easy." she lamented before taking a deep breath. "But you're right. I can't put it off any longer."

"When will you be back?" Superman called.

"I don't know." she sigh, with that she turned and flew off towards the Javelin. Superman watched her go, then returned to his relief efforts.

Watchtower night time

Batman was over looking the report Superman sent him about the storm, it had been a highly dangerous one and tore up a lot of home's. Wayne Tech might need to be feeling in the donating mood from the way things looked.

"This is weird." someone mused from just below him, looking down Batman frown at seeing Static and Supergirl on the lower deck both working on computer consoles. Never mind the fact that Supergirl wasn't even supposed to be there as she was not a member of the Justice league, those two had been joining up with one another a lot more often then he cared for.

Closing out the console he began heading down to the lower deck so as he could take a gander as to why she was there. Batman hadn't really anything against Supergirl but it was clear they enjoyed each other company more then either of them admitted and after watching the raise and fall of Nightwing and Starefire's relationship he could honestly say he didn't care to watch a repeat of another failed relationship between a human and a alien.

Reaching the lower level Batman stop halfway towards the two teen heroes before pausing in his tracks as their conversation reached him, "These weather patterns really make no sense, other than the obvious dead giveaways I'm unable to to find a common link to them." Static muttered rather unhappy with that.

"I'm not doing much better on my end either there's no links to the attack on Alvin Industries that I can find." Supergirl said in frustration as her fingers glided across the keyboard.

"That device was a video looper right, have you tried seeing if tech companies in Dakota have had similar thefts?" Static ask moving the holographic weather screams in front of him side to side as he examined them.

"That was my first trail but that would be a no, which means either they only recently started using these or they were using them to begin with and they accidentally left this one behind, probably due to the rush of what happened to Dr. Karen Roberts." Supergirl guessed.

"In that case cross reference them with any big break-ins in the last 3 to 4 weeks, and don't just look at tech companies look at anything and everything and see if video loopers were involved." Static suggested Supergirl eyes lit up as she begin typing furiously away in search of a lead.

"Good idea, maybe tech companies weren't the first target that they hit." Supergirl replied, Batman listening to the two of them conversate and simply raised an eyebrow, it didn't take a world's greatest detective to see that these two were clearly hot on some case and as much as he disapproved of Supergirl being in watchtower anf a potential fling forming between her and Static he certainly wasn't going to interfere when they were hard at work.

"What are you two doing?" Batman asked finally making his presence known, both jumped a little bit and not having realized he was there and turn to The dark Knight in surprise.

"Oh Batman, I thought you'd still be in Gotham, We're just working on a case or two this one in particular I believe will end up involving the entire Justice league." Static said while making a cross the line with his hand at the base of his neck, Supergirl getting the hint quickly closed out the files from her search as well as unplugging the hard drive and pocketing it with the video looper into her skirt pockets Batman of course I noticed this but shows not to say nothing as he figured it was probably a case that was in Dakota and since he Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern all had their own locations that they themselves personally protected it was agreed upon that they wouldn't interfere in one another's home location matters unless personally asked unlike Green lantern Batman respected Statics decision to deal with his own cases until he asked for help.

"And what might that be." Batman asked walking up to the console with Static as Supergirl had already moved to his side.

"Well less than a week ago Static and I were called in to assist in a relief effort due to a storm that hit Wisconsin." Supergirl said bringing Batman's attention to her.

"The storm was massive, managing to rip whole tree out of the ground and leveled several houses." Supergirl continued.

"However the weird thing is none of the people had been prepared for it that got us interested and when we checked local weather patterns there wasn't anything resembling a storm on the sites meaning they were completely caught unprepared. Just like Beach City." Supergirl explained as Batman listened in while Static continued.

"Now that got me curious and I did some digging, looking at the local weather reports there have been several massive storms hitting different places around the United States that spontaneously appeared out of nowhere with no warning or even any indication that they were going to happen." Static said swiping a Halo maps and bringing them up for Batman to see.

"Not only that but they formed so fast that it defies common sense." Static stated as Supergirl begin pointing to the timestamps above each of the Halo maps and Batman noted that each time the sky had been as clear as day then 30 minutes later it turned into a devastating rainstorm.

"One could say that this is all one big coincidence but you know what they say about coincidences. First time is random, seconds is a coincidence, but a third is being done on purpose." Static said as Batman step closer to look at the footage being shown his eyes narrowing at the timing and the power behind each of the storms.

"Good catch, what leads do you have on the causes?" Batman questions causing both of them to groan.

"None so far, the locations of each storm don't appear in any pattern which while suspicious doesn't give us any ideas to wear the cause might be at."Supergirl answered.

"Maybe they're being made by weather machines, there are few supervillains with that type of tech." Batman suggested.

"That was one of my first thoughts as well but any type of known weather machine used to make a storm out of nothing it generally forms around a central epicenter, these storms however seem to just randomly form in a sort of blowing in fashion so it's unlikely that it's a technical device of some kind or at the very least if it is, it's not one we're familiar with." Static reply.

"Energy patterns then." Batman offered.

"Tried that too but seeing as we only just picked up on this there are only two we have been able to check for energy patterns. That would be the one from a few days ago and the from today. Both came up blank, whoever or whatever is forming these mega storms is doing a pretty good job at covering their tracks." Supergirl stated grinding her teeth together Static typed on the Halo maps.

"There have been a total of seven of these mega storms and the time frame between each of the storms has gotten progressively shorter who's ever doing this is stepping up their game." Static added.

"So we got nothing then?" Batman asked rather unhappy about that.

"Not necessarily, now that we know about the storms I've set the watchtower to scan and analyze any high tier weather phenomenons. While it sucks that we literally have to wait for another storm to start tearing up some place at the very least we can get a accurate reading on one and we can possibly find a way to track back to where it originates from." Batman nodded, it was the best solution to solving this weather phenomenon, and it's spoke volume of how much Static took his job as a hero serious despite his rather young age and lack of maturity.

"I see keep me informed if you find anything." Batman said turning on his heels as he mused over this latest development but then stopped in his tracks when none other than Martian Manhunter phased from the ground in front of them.

"I just received a call from Superman, he wants us to report to a Museum of Natural History it may have something to do with Diana. She recently requested information on a Felix Faust." Martian manhunter said getting a raised eyebrow from Static and Supergirl.

"Who is that, bad guy at name if I ever heard of one though." Static commented.

"No idea, J'onn you head down there with Flash, Static, and Supergirl. I'll stay up here and see if I can find any information on this Felix Faust." Batman ordered Supergirl blink several times and surprised at him mentioning her.

"Wait so you're okay with me tagging along on League business?" Supergirl ask a bit dumbfoundead, Batman just looked at her dryly.

"Green lantern and Hawkgirl are currently out on a mission in space so we're a bit shorthanded at the moment and despite the Watchtower being only for Justice league members 'slight bat glare Static who looked uncomfortably at the ground' you're here anyway so might as well make some use out of you but this isn't becoming a habit." Batman said evenly while sending a bit of a harsher glare towards Static who look like he'd rather be anywhere else but there.

"Agreed we'll head to the javelin right now." Static said then flashed away faster than anyone would have thought possible, Supergirl uncomfortable at being with just the two senior members of the Justice league quickly used a burst of speed to head to the javelin as well.

"Was that really necessary I don't see the harm of her being here from time to time." J'onn said looking at Batman who's simply turn to him with a blank expression.

"She's not a member of the League and I'd rather Static not get the idea in his head that it's okay to bring his little friends here anytime he wishes." Batman reply J'onn seeing that this was virtually a lost cause sigh and decided to follow after them to the javelin.

Dakota - Madelyn household

Standing in her bathroom on shaky legs while looking at herself in the mirror Madeline down another two Tylenol tablets in a single gulp before washing them down with a cup of water then place the glass cup at the end of the sink while placing both hands on each side of the sink to stabilize her stance.

"I am pretty certain it is not healthy with how many of these tablets I've taken today." she muttered to herself wiping the sweat off of her forehead, the headaches had always been bad but she had been able to manage them for the most part but today they seem to be particularly painful to her and it was honestly starting to worry her.

"It might be time for me to have my first appointment with the Martian." Madelyn grumbled under her breath. making sure she was steady before letting go of the sink Madelyn slowly began heading towards her bathroom door anxious to get back into bed only to have to lean on the door frame when another burst of pain exploded in her head.

"Dear God what is wrong with me why are these things so painful all of a sudden!?" Madelyn gasp rubbing her forehead as a vein bulbs bulged on top of it, taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly she managed to straighten herself out 'CRASSH' only two nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard a crash behind her and turned around quickly to see the cup she had just been drinking out of now smashed into the floor.

"What!? But how!? I placed it toward the end of the sink! I shouldn't have been able to knock it over even if I try! There's no way it should have- AGGHHH! Okay the headaches are back..." she mumbled trying to calm down as she eyed the broken glass at the floor with dismay.

"I'll- I'll clean that up later, sleep now." Madelyn muttered as she forced herself to quickly head back in the bed and plop down hoping to fall into a quick and relatively painless slumber.

Static, Supergirl, Flash and Martian Manhunter arrived allowing Wonder woman to explained everything that had happened on Themyscira, as well as her 'arrangement' with Faust.

"Of course I don't trust him, but I don't have a choice." she concluded. "If I don't get these relics back to him, my mother and all of Themyscira will suffer."

"At least you were smart enough to get J'onn to do some digging on this Faust." Superman told her.

"Batman is now handling the research." J'onn added. "In the meantime, perhaps it would be wise to come up with a plan to deal with Faust's ultimatum."

"I say we go back there and kick that would be sorcerer's butt!" Flash suggested.

"I like the sound of that, perhaps if we can get that doohickey coin of his then we can use it to free the rest of Diana's people." Static offered.

"That right, plus we know a certain high level magic user who would be willing to help out." Supergirl added Wonder Woman perk up at hearing.

"That may not be possible, from Batman says Raven have taken a leave of hero dutys after she was set free and vanish without a trace." J'onn said gravely shuting that idea down

"So that sucks but we can still find and kick that would be sorcerers butt!" Flash said clutching his fist.

"As much as I agree with you, it's impossible." Wonder Woman informed him. "It is forbidden for men to step foot on Themyscira."

"Maybe someone should have told him that." Flash remarked.

"So, the only way to save your people is to do what he says." J'onn mused. "I guess that only leaves us with one course of action." Wonder Woman looked up at J'onn and let a tiny smile play on his face.

"We will have to help you." he declared, Wonder Woman perked up at the Martian's words, smiling as well.

"Ideally we want to split up into two teams and search for the relics individually." Superman stated looking at Wonder Woman.

"I believe the best course of action should be to have you head up to Batman on the Watchtower and help with the search." Superman stated causing.

"You expect me to stand idly by while my friends search for a way to save my home?" Wonder woman question tensinly, Static walk forward in a calming mannor.

"It's not like we're trying to boot you out of the search Diana but I agree with Superman when it comes to you guys tracking down info." Static stated.

"We don't know if Faust will stay true to his promise and free your people, better we have any intel on him and a back-up plan in case he goes back on his word." Superman added, Wonder Woman conceded to their points, she certainly didn't trust Faust either and had to acknowledge the fact that he may very well go back on his word.

"In the meanwhile we will do what Superman advised and separate into teams of two for the remaining relics, Flash and I will go find one while Supergirl and Static locate the other." J'onn said as Supergirl turn to Superman.

"What will you be doing in the meantime cuz?" Supergirl asked looking at her cousin.

"I'll be on standby to follow up on any leads Batman or Diana find." none disapproved of this as Superman could follow up on the leads the fastest and be ready to defend in case he ran into any trouble. With a plan now in motion the heroes separated to begin their given tasks.

Static and Supergirl flew through the darkened skies of Metropolis, following the glow of the final crystal.

"So what's your take on this do you think faust will play ball in release Diana's people?" Supergirl asked after a of silence between the two.

"No and as much as I hate to say it I'm more concerned about what he plans to do with these relics after he's been." static replied with the red glowing crystal in hand.

"Must be something big if he went through the trouble a petrifying an entire islands worth of people and holding them hostage." Supergirl said in return clearly in dismay and worried for Wonder woman's family and friends.

"Well let's hope he keeps his end of the bargain otherwise I'm going to end up shoving and electric covered fist up a place where the sun don't shine." Static muttered getting a slight chuckle from Supergirl. However this stop as they both notice that the red crystal they had been following started to glow rather brightly to indicate that they had arrived at their destination, much to Supergirl's confusion.

"This can't be the place." Supergirl muttered.

"According to the gem, it is." Static replied seeing that they had arrived in front of the Metropolis Mall.

"Okay, my city so I take point. we find that relic and head back to the Watch Tower." Supergirl said.

"Sounds like a plan but if I remember right this is Superman's city... your just the sidekick." no sooner had Static's sentence ended did he have to dodge a punch to the head.

"Smart ass, let just find this thing and get out of here." Supergirl said with a dry smirk as Static gave her a cheeky grin.

"Roger that ma'am." Static quipped as they both began looking around. They passed by many trendy boutiques they followed the red glowing stone with Supergirl eyeing the swim wear eyeing the two pieces with a look of both longing and distaste.

"Summer time is coming up, might be time for a new swim suit." Supergirl commented bringing Static to a stop as the image of Supergirl in a bikini entered his mind, (Easy there tiger, you have a girlfriend!) he thought shaking his head clear as well as being glad Supergirl couldn't see his blush.

"Yeah, haven't been to the beach in a while so I wouldn't know." Static replied feeling a chill as he sure Supergirl was eyeing him.

"Used to wear bikini's until a strong wave wash it off. So it be one piece's for now on." Supergirl admitted and was pretty sure she heard his teeth grinding together.

"Again, I wouldn't know." Static grunted as he reluctantly tried in vain to remove the image of a bikini dressed Supergirl from his mind. and ge was failing.

"If we every get the chance want to try to hit one up together." Supergirl offered causing his to visable twitch.

"My girlfriend might be a little upset if I did that." Static stated, Supergirl froze as his words hit her.

"Oh your in a relationship?" Supergirl asked as he looked at her and nodded, (Well this just got akward.) she thought.

"Yeah, umm maybe we should get back to the search." Static offered to which Supergirl was more then happy to accept, turning on her x-ray vision she then began scanning the mall. Through the floor, she could make out the pipes and lines running below the building. She could also see an ancient vase buried in the dirt.

"There it is." Supergirl reported pointing at the floor to Static's confusion.

"It bury underground?" he question as Supergirl then flew up into the air.

"Yeah, way, way underground before spinning and diving back down, tunneling through them all as Static watch and waited. It take a few minutes before Supergirl finally return with the urn in hand. Static approached him, looking at the urn curiously then Supergirl in worry as she was wobbling.

"Kal makes it look so ease." she said dizzy, this was only her second time using this technique, Superman had explained to her that it would require her having to forgo her ability to see in exchange for using all her other senses when it came to drilling through the Earth and traveling through it, it goes without saying that she was a long ways from mastering it and she had to stop several times to reposition herself in order to find the Urn.

Shake it off after a moment Supergirl and Static look down at the vise, "Why would someone bury it here?" she wondered aloud.

"I don't know, but from the looks of it, I'd say it's been here a long time." Static replied giving the Urn a once over.

Static took the urn, looking at it skeptically.

"Someone went through a lot of trouble to make sure this thing were never disturbed." Supergirl muttered thinking about how deep it was into the Earth.

"Yeah which makes me question why and if we really want to find out." Static said looking at the Urn in mistrust, a dew moments he carefully lifted the lid of the urn to remove the relic, it exploded into white light, blinding the two heroes and sending them flying in opposite directions. As the light faded and the last of the spots disappeared from their vision, Supergirl looked around for her companion.

"Static?" she called out, Unfortunately for her, what she saw was not Static. Instead, it was this large, bug-eyed monster with large red wings and razor-sharp teeth. Meanwhile, Static had stumbled backwards, still blinking away those pesky spots.

"Supergirl?" he called but then gasp when he found his eyes resting on a green skin monster with a long tail and glowing orange eyes. Neither of them realizing they were under some kind of hallucination that was making them envision each other as monsters!

"That not Supergirl!" He stated rhetorically.

"Damnit! Where is Static!?" she roared charging at him only for him to side step the girl of steel who managed to stop herself and turn to him in surprise.

"Alright baddie! What have you done with Supergirl!?" Static demanded, Supergirl only hearing growls threw a hard right punch at Static who side step itbefore bringing his left arm up across her own arm and clapping it down against his chest locking it in place!

"Wha-" she didn't get to finish as Static used his free hand to grab her head, pulling her down as he sent a electric powered knee to her gut blasting her away.

"AAAAGGGGHHH!" Supergirl cried as she was sent flying into a hotdog cart, (This thing is so dead!) she thought aggravated as she was cover in uncooked hotdogs. Static watch Supergirl stand up take on one of the fighting stands Wonder Woman taught him as Supergirl pick hotdog out of her hair looking completely furious, Static's eyes widen when Supergirl vanish in a bur only to ram at him sending him crashing through a clothing booth!

"Okay, one I don't think pick is my color," he muttered picking the pink berttra off his head only with the rest of the clothing, "and two, this thing is hell fast... and strong!" Static grunted jumping to his feet and taking a fighting stand's as Supergirl raised and eye brow. "This monster... knows how to fight."

Central American

The javelin flew through the sky, heading for the Central American jungle towards an Incan temple. As the ship landed, both Flash and J'onn emerged from the ship, the latter holding one of Faust's crystals. Flash was going on and on as they walked down the gangplank.

"Just imagine it: the sun, the sand, hundreds of women just like her running around, and me, the first man they've seen in, oh maybe forever." He regaled. "Oh, and look what I brought. Iced mochas for everyone! Sweet."

"I fail to see the attraction." J'onn told him, focusing on the crystal's glow.

"Man, you really are from mars." Flash remarked.

J'onn stopped walking, and when he spoke, there was a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Perhaps we should focus on finding the relic." he suggested.

"No problem." Flash reassured.

He then took the crystal and sped into the pyramid. Just a second later, he came running back out with an urn in his hands.

"See? That was easy." He declared, opening the urn and pulling out the second piece of the relic.

As he said this, the ground began to shake. Both heroes looked back at the temple just as it exploded, allowing a large snake to burst out into the open. It was a maroon color with a yellow underbelly, and smoke rose from his nostrils and mouth as it hissed at the pair.

"Or not!" Flash gasped.

Metropolis Mall

Static's eyes widen quickly making a cross armed shield as she Supergirl puinch into a wall thirty feet off the ground! Not giving him the time to recover Supergirl flew up to static holding in place by grabbing him by the chest then gave a right hook to the jaw that felt like she was trying to tear half of his face off before throwing him to the ground.

(Okay note to self, this monster is about as strong as Supergirl! And that's just marvelous!) Static thought sarcastically rubbing his sore throat jaw if it hadn't been for the body enhancement as well as his bioshield tthat punch would have taken his head off. He however didn't have long to recover as Supergirl was already charging at him once again prepared with a this cock back however right is Supergirl through her next punch static raise his hand forming a large electric shield from it that completely blocked out the punch causing Supergirl to glean as the contact with the punch not only had the effect of an electrical burn that was capable of being felt even threw her dead skin it also felt like she had just tried to punch a steel wall.

"This thing is just full of tricks!" Supergirl muttered bitterly as she cock back to deliver another punch, however she felt the air being taken out of her gut as Static planted in electric power boot into her stomach before sending an electric blast through his foot into Supergirl blasting her away from him! flipping to his feet static shock quickly turned around in search of Supergirl only for her the fly high in the air looking positively furious however with his sight seeing her as a demon it gained a more sinister appearance to him.

"What the hell!" Supergirl gasp as Static held both his hands out and fired a powerful electric energy blast at the girl of steel, Supergirl held her own hands out to block the oncoming attack, Static blast clashed with Supergirls hands yet she managed to hold her place in mid-air but found much to her aggravation that Statics electric blast was practically burning the gloves off of her hand causing her a great deal of pain.

"While clearly I can't take much more of this!" Supergirl grunted as the pain was becoming more and more excruciating and Supergirl would later admit that it was on the same level as Livewire her eyes glowed red then suddenly heat vision fired from them striking static in the shoulder and causing him to disburse his attack as he winched in pain looking at is now burnt shoulder.

"Damn that hurt and right through my bioshield too! What the heck hell-" Static was cut off as turning his back on the girl of steel proved to be a huge mistake when she bum-rushed him grabbing him by the shoulders slamming him face-first into the floor and grinding him through the floor as she dragged him across it, all the way up to the wall then began dragging him across the wall using his face in body to grind away at the building structure!

(Okay I take back what I said about Wonder Woman's training! This is the worse pain ever!) Static thought su was suddenly pulled away from the wall and through back to ground level and crashed into the floor trader in it seeing Supergirl rushing down towards him static quickly get over his disorientation and begin firing electric blast after electric blast with several missing the Argo inn but just as she was a few feet away from him statics attack finally managed to land a kid knocking her out of the sky causing her to bounce off the floor but she still managed to roll back onto her feet.

Looking for the metahuman with a crimson glare Supergirls eyes widen as an electric power fist slammed into her jaw so hard that she actually spun in the air before she managed to straighten herself out only to receive another punch so the opposite Chic of her face that knocked her back several feet rushing towards her static through his hands out in a grappling motion when she quickly held copied resulting in both of them gripping on to each other in a contest of raw power which Static immediately found himself losing!

"Yep, just as strong as Supergirl!" he grunted as his eyes began to glow with blue light, Supergirls own eyes quickly followed with a crimson glow, moments later better their eyes beams fire clashing in an explosion flare of heat vision and electricity! Destroying the center of the mall and burying them under rubble!

Central America

the battle between the Martian manhunter in the flash was not going in the heroes favor as the large snake manage to completely envelope the Martian in flames. As he screamed in agony and terror, Flash suddenly skidded to a stop.

"J'onn!" he shouted.

He caught the Martian as he fell, then turned towards the snake. It prepared to breathe fire, so Flash created twin tornados with his arms. The resulting wind blew the fire right back at the snake.

"You're toast!" Flash taunted.

The flames licked at the snake, causing it to recoil in pain. It then lunged forward, trying to snap at Flash, only for the speedster to easily dodge. He ran up the snake's body, causing the snake to tie itself in a knot to get to him. With its throat now constricted, breathing fire was impossible. As it tried to free itself, Flash ran over to J'onn.

"C'mon buddy, wake up!" he begged. "I need you on this!"

J'onn shook his head, clearing his thoughts. He straightened up, looking at the snake with an edge of anger now on his face.

"You get the relic." he told Flash. "I will handle the rest."

Flash rushed off to do just that as J'onn faced off against the snake. It was trying to untangle itself, but J'onn quickly delivered an uppercut to its jaw to stop it. It fell hard, out like a light. Flash sped over, looking at the downed snake with surprise.

"Remind me never to make you mad!" Flash said impressed with the one shot attack his teammate just delivered.

Metropolis Mall

groaning as a large piece of rubble begin to shift around before static stood up for the rubble off of his back while rubbing his now sore shoulders looking at the devastation around the mall as he recovers she knew right away that Batman was going to be very unhappy at having to foot the bill to repair the damage is done.

Static quickly took notice of another section of rubble moving before Supergirl burst out of it dusting herself off looking rather on harm and extremely aggravated gearing himself up for another round Static held his fists in front of him as he stared at the demon before him, however it was at that moment he noticed something odd. The reflection behind the demon looked extremely off squinting his eyes to get a better look but upon closer inspection he came to understand why the reflection on the glass window 'that had miraculously remain unbroken' behind a demon was in fact Supergirl taking a look at the demon wants more static blinking other surprise when the demon had now vanished and in it place Supergirl!

"What the hell?!" Static gasp then was forced to jump out of the way with Supergirl landed punching a crator in the floor of where he stood!

"Hey S-girl calm down!" Static Charlotte frantically as he continued to dip and Dodge all of supergirls punches and kicks while trying to get a grasp on the situation, (Okay so this is weird, but thinks Static there has to be a logical explanation as to what the hell just happened!) he thought raising two Shields, one in each of his hands to begin pairing her blow's.

"Okay so one moment Supergirl's there then then we open the Urn, then she vanished then in her place this demon thing appeared, then we fight for bit then I looked at the reflection in the glass window only to see Supergirl, than the demon thing vanished then Supergirl reappeared." Static grunted blocking her punchie's one after the other.

"So, some type of magic hocus pocus hallucination created by the relic then, question is how the hell do I break Supergirl out of it, preferably before she breaks my face in!?" Static muttered flipping Supergirl over his shoulder and backing away, well it was true that Supergirl was clearly much stronger and faster than him static was seriously thanking his lucky stars that Wonder woman had hammered into him the importance of hand-to-hand combat skills as he kept him a step above Supergirl in a way from getting his ass handed to him.

(Okay let's think about this, it seems that when I saw super girls reflection it broke me out of the hallucination so logically the same should apply if Supergirl where to see my reflection off of something, right!?) Static thought questioning himself, if his hypothesis was correct then the only way to free her was to make her see his reflection in something.

"Oh crap, this is going to hurt..." Static muttered crossing his arms and straighting his bio-shield as Supergirl rammed into him sending Static crushing into a wall and breaking his shield! Before Static could recover Supergirl appeared in front of him in a burst of speed and gave him a quick punch to his unshielded face.

Though thanks to his body being enhance by the electricity in his veins the punch still cracked the back of his skull when it smashed into the wall giving him a concussion and leaving him barely conscious! "GHAK!" Static gasped Supergirl grab him by the neck lifting him in the air with her free fist cocked.

"I won't ask again, where is Static?!" She roared, going in and out of consciousness raised his right hand, with his finger point. Making sure to keep him in her field of vision Supergirl carefully followed on to see him pointing at a mirror in front of a clothing booth. However a moment later she gasped in horror as after then a reflection of her holding a monster she saw Static!

"Hey, can you put me down now?" a croaked voice asked, turning to him Supergirl was dismay to see Static was indeed in her grip.

"Oh god! I'm so sorry?" Supergirl cried letting him go and easy him sitting onto the floor.

"it's fine... whatever magic was... on that relic... made us... hallucinate... each other... as enemies." Static wheezed as he reached into his belts of pull out his shock charger, knowing that he heals faster with more electricity in his system. That seemed to do little to helping Supergirl's conscious, she still felt incredibly guilty about hurting someone she considered a friend. Looking towards the center of the mall Supergirl spotted the relic now just lying on the floor by the fountain with a certain level of wearines. "Just what are those relics and what the hell does the Faust wants to do with them."

Madelyn Spaulding found herself currently staring into her mirror with an expression split between relief and other worry. her headaches at finally stopped which end of itself should have made her completely thrilled and it certainly did but it also cause a deep pit in her storm stomach to form. extreme migraines like the ones she had been having shouldn't have just up and vanished the way they did and yet after suffering through it for nearly the entire day in the spam of one minute it completely went away as though it was never there.

While it certainly pleased to it's a no longer being extreme amounts of pain but it also made her question just what had caused the sudden relief and if it would cause problems down the road.

"When Virgil gets back we are seriously going to have a talk about me speaking with his Martian friend." Madeline mutter to herself as her hand move towards the plastic cup that she had brought into her bathroom tub for self some more water however just a Sheetz store to reach out her hand she quickly took notice of a distinctive glow that surprised her.

"What the heck?" Madeline gasp bringing her hand closer to her face while wondering where such a glow could have come from however when the cup she had been reaching for prior suddenly dropped into her hand it cost her to nearly jumped out of her skin to nearly jumped out of her skin and drop the cup on the floor and surprise.

"What the hell!?" Madelyn shouted as she stared at the cup rolling on the floor, realizing she was starting to hyperventilate Madeline took several seconds to calm her breathing down as she stared at the now motionless cup taking a deep gold Madeline raised her right hand once more noticing that the distinctive white glow from before return the cop that was lying on the floor then began to slowly but surely rise into the air making its way towards the offered opened right hand until it was less than an inch from her palm in Madelyn wrap her fingers around it.

"Okay, so this is happening, and tomorrow I'm meeting a Martian!" Madeline whisper to herself as she quickly pays to come back on the sink turned onto the heels of her feet and March back into her bedroom she quickly located her vanity desk and move to open it up to get her shot box in contact Virgil so let him know that he needed to set up a meeting with the Martian Manhunter right away.

"Madelyn Spaulding?" she froze in her tracks, feeling a chill right up her spine at the deep unfamiliar voice from behind her.

Turning around Madelyn spotted a man in a trench coat wearing sunglasses standing in her room. Even with the sunglasses on it did little to hide the bruising on his face or the obvious signs of a black eye over his left eye as well as one looked like a busted lip and if she didn't know any better she swear his nose had probably been broken as well. Clearly the guy had been in some kind of fight and had lost badly but none of that matter to her right now, as the most pressing concern in Madelyn's mind was the fact that she didn't know him and was completely unaware of how he even got into her room.

"Who-" 'BAM' Madelyn hit the floor before she could even form a sentence with her John now ringing from the fist that impacted onto her face, having difficulty comprehending the situation she was now in Madelyn slowly stared back up to the unknown man with fear clearly etched into her eyes as she rub the sore area of where he strike her.

"Wha-" 'CRACK' nothing else was said as the man looked down at her prone form before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a Two-Way Radio.

"Nightingale it's Fade, I'm on my way back and tell the boss I got her." he said ending the line before he even got a reply back, removing his foot from Madelyn's face, Fade simply smirked at her unconscious form knowing that Professor Menace would be pleased with the acquisition of the telepath Madelyn Spaulding.

To Be continued.
