The Tiny Moments Matter

This is just a collection of one-shots based on multiple ideas that I had swirling around in my head. Everything from either my original ideas for some of my stories I've been writing to new ideas that I just want to flush out will be storied in this. But to be honest, this is mainly just a Jlaire dump and I'm not ashamed.

38. Hoodies

Hi~ quick one-shot thingy cause I'm a lovesick fool who was sent a photo of their girlfriend nuzzling their hoodie as they're sleepy and gods help me lol

For the longest time, I never understood the appeal of stealing your partner's clothes.

All I ever heard around high school made it sound like it was some kind of marking. Like a giant sign that yelled out "Property of So and So". I thought it was a little weird and possessive.

Well, that was until I saw Claire in my old jacket.

I swallowed hard as a bright blush burned my cheeks and the tops of my ears.

Most importantly, when she fell asleep cuddling it.

I tried my best to quiet my screaming brain as I looked over Claire's sleeping features on my old bed. A soft sleepy smile graced her lips as half of her face was covered by the old blue jacket.

Holy shit holy shit holy shit holy shit-

I watched as she let out a sleepy murmur and nuzzled her face into the chest of it as if she was nuzzling into me.

Holy shit.

Can someone be allowed to be that cute? Is that legally allowed? How in the hell-?

I took in a deep breath as I tried my best to calm myself within that moment.

Already knew she loves cuddles. It is logical that she would cuddle your things.

I watched as she adjusted her head so her cheek was now on top of the jacket instead of her face nuzzling into it. Letting her sleepy smile and peaceful face noticeable to anyone that was lucky enough to see or watch.

This relationship is going to be the death of me. She will kill me. I should write a will now.

I felt a soft smile take over my lips though as I tried my best to sit next to her on the bed. Trying my best to be too anxious or energetic to ruin her obviously peaceful setting.

Death by love. Sounds ironic though.

My smile widened though as I looked over her sleeping features. Trying my best to memorize each bit as she slept.

I'll take it though if it means it comes from her.

This is really short cause I originally wrote this a while ago and I just finished it up now, but I thought it was cute lol My girlfriend will love it at least lol
