A/N - Oh what's this? It's the next chapter only a week later instead of a month! Hello everyone, welcome to chapter 10. In this chapter, it is the end of Act 1 of the story so there is sure to be some big developments! Please enjoy everyone and don't forget to follow, favourite, and review the story, all three really helps me out.

Chapter 10

Felicia and Walter both stepped out of her building and into the streets of New York. They were heading to queens so they would have to get a cab and go over the bridge to get there. Felicia raised her hand and hailed a cab that stopped for her. She stepped into the back with her father and told the driver the address. As the driver started to drive to their destination, she turned to her dad and gave him a soft smile.

"It was a nice surprise to see you come and check on Peter, he really must have made an impression on you when you both spoke last time. " Felicia said as she leaned her head on the back of the seat, obviously leaving out why Peter needed to be checked on since the cab driver could easily hear them.

Walter chuckled slightly before answering his daughter. "Yeah, he did for sure. He is a remarkable young man who kicked some sense into me. He didn't think it was fair the way I was treating you. I am glad you have Peter by your side. "

Felicia looked down at her lap as she listened, she really hoped Peter would pull through and go back to normal but time will tell. Walter noticed the way Felicia was looking at her lap. He smiled to himself and just saw the love Felicia had for Peter radiating from her.

"He is gonna be okay princess, you'll see. This is Peter we are talking about after all. " Walter tried to reassure his daughter and managed to get a smile in return. "There we go, that's the smile I like to see. So tell me, does Peter treat you right?" Walter knew the answer already but he felt like asking anyway.

"Oh yeah, Pete is amazing. From the first moment I saw him, I knew there was something I liked and couldn't get enough of. As I got to know him more, I just fell even harder for him. He treats me like I am the only person that matters to him and he always makes sure that I am happy. He also got me this beautiful present for my birthday and... " Felicia trailed off as she looked at the present that Peter got her, her father smiled knowingly at his daughter and patted her hand softly.

"He is the one isn't he?" Walter asked his daughter. Felicia looked up and met her father's eyes with a red blush on her cheeks.

"Yeah.. he is the one for me," Felicia replied with a gentle voice.

Both Felicia and Walter chatted casually as they crossed the bridge and got to queens. Soon they pulled up outside of May Parker's house and she paid the driver the full amount, against the objections of her father. They both climbed out of the car and started to walk up the stairs until they reached the front door. Walter turned and saw the cab leave while Felicia opened her bag and pulled out the key to the house that Peter gave her in case of emergencies where they needed something from Peter's old room.

As Felicia stepped inside Walter followed her and she closed the door behind them. Felicia turned to her father and turned a light on so they could see better. "Can you stay here while I go upstairs and get Pete a new suit? "

"Yeah sure, don't be long now.. I am just getting a bad feeling about this place. " Replied Walter as he began to look around the kitchen.

Felicia nodded her head and started to climb the stairs. When she reached the top, she went into Peter's old bedroom and flicked the light on. She observed the room and saw that May must have cleaned it before she passed. Felicia shook her head slightly to try and clear her thoughts, she needed to get Pete a new suit and get home to him as quickly as possible. She walked over to the wardrobe in the room and opened the door, there hanging on the rack was one of Peter's old suits that he used to wear before he got the advanced suit. She took it from the hanger and stuffed the suit into her bag, thankfully it was large enough to carry the suit inside.

She closed the wardrobe door and turned to leave the room when she heard a loud crash downstairs. She chanced a peek downstairs and saw her Dad get slammed into a wall in the kitchen. She watched as the creature that she saw on television stalked towards her father. She quickly took out her phone and went to text Peter out of habit but instead she found Miles's name and sent him a message requesting his help.

Morales Apartment, Harlem.

Miles was just about to fall asleep when his phone vibrated. He grunted as he flicked the screen on with his finger and his eyes widened as he read the text.

"Need help, the creature from today is at May's house in Queens. "

Miles stared at the text for another moment before he jumped up and pulled on his suit. He opened the window to his bedroom and quickly jumped out, as he began swinging as fast as he could to Queens.

May Parker's House, Queens.

Felicia watched the creature get closer to her father as slowly tiptoed down the stairs. She stopped when she heard the creature speak.

"Where is Peter Parker." The creature asked as it crouched over Walter who had a cut on his head, blood pouring down the front of his face. The older man winced but didn't show an ounce of fear as tried to get back to his feet but again the creature put him down with a kick to his rib cage. Walter felt his ribs crack under the pressure of the kick. He turned his head as he tried to keep the cries of pain from escaping his lips. He spotted Felicia on the stairs, a look of fear in her eyes. He shook her head at her, motioning for her to not get any closer. He turned to face the creature again and tried to turn away as the creature's long tongue started to get closer to his face.

"I don't know who you are talking about.." Walter lied to the creature as he again tried to get to his feet but his old body was beginning to fail him. The creature snarled, causing saliva to coat Walter's face as he pointed a sharp claw at Walter's throat.

"You are lying to us... We don't like when people lie to us. " The creature spoke with Venom in its voice.

"What do you mean us? All I see in front of me is a lunatic who somehow looks like an alien freak. " Replied Walter with a shout.

"No... we are not lunatics.. we are here to end Spider-Man and his little bitch of a girlfriend. We are Venom." The creature they now knew as Venom replied calmly but even then it still sounded angry.

"Okay Venom then please enlighten us, why do you say we?" Walter replied defiantly.

Walter watched in horror as the face of the creature started to shift and was replaced by the face of one Harry Osborn. "Harry Osborn.." Walter practically yelled out and this caused Felicia to gasp and cover her mouth. The creature shifted its face back to normal and turned to see Felicia on the stairs. It went to fire a tendril of black goo at Felicia but instead it felt something hit it on the head. Venom turned back to Walter and saw that the older man had hit him with a microwave that was now lying in pieces on the floor.

Felicia watched on in horror as Venom picker her father up by the throat and slammed his back against the counter causing the older man to cry out in pain. Felicia caught her father's eye as Venom brought his claw to Walter's throat and sliced it wide open. Felicia let out an earth-shattering scream of grieve as her father fell to the floor, blood pooling where he sat, never moving again.

Venom turned to the crying Felicia and started to laugh in a deranged way as he advanced on the smaller woman. Felicia just stood there, anger in her eyes as she stared at her father's killer. She reached into her bag as Venom went to swipe at her and threw a flashbang at him, blinding him for a few seconds. As Venom's vision started to clear he looked around for Felicia but he couldn't see her. He started to walk through the house, talking out loud as he did so.

"Here kitty kitty, come out to play. " Venom punched his way through the closed living room door and looked around for his prey. He snarled when he couldn't see her. He continued to walk around the house, looking in every place he could find. As Venom was looking Felicia was staying well hidden. She knew she couldn't take on Venom on her own and hoped Miles would get here soon. She flinched as she heard Venom smashing up May's house. She was about to text Miles again when Venom roared and grabbed her. He threw her against the wall, causing her to get extremely winded. As Felicia struggled to her feet she saw Venom closing in on her. She flinched as Venom picked her up and slammed her against the wall.

"It's a shame such a beautiful woman has to die but I can't let you live. You and Peter killed my father and took everything from me. So I think it's only fair that I take everything from you, your lover, your father, and your life. Goodbye Felicia Hardy."

Venom raised his claws again and was about to bring them down on his victim but his arm was stopped abruptly. He turned around and saw the other Spider-Man holding onto his arm with his web. He let out an angry snarl and grabbed the web with his other hand. He let Felicia drop to the ground as he yanked Spider-Man towards him and hit him with a powerful punch that sent the wall-crawler flying through the wall to the outside street.

Miles groaned in pain as he stumbled to his feet and looked into the hole he had just created, he saw that the creature was now fully focused on him now instead of Felicia. Miles took a deep painful breath and started to feel the electricity flow through his body as the creature started to charge at him. As soon as the creature was within inches of Miles, he pulled back his fist and delivered a brutal punch to the face of the creature. The creature went flying back and collided with the roof of May's house. Miles quickly fired a web line and slingshotted himself towards the creature, delivering another strike causing the creature to land on its back once again.

Venom let out an angry hiss as Spider-Man kept electrocuting him. He stood up and saw Spider-Man fly at him again but this time Venom sidestepped and grabbed Spider-Man by the head. He picked him up by his skull and slammed him into the roof of the house causing them to fall through it. Venom started to laugh as he saw Spider-Man struggle to get up.

"I know you aren't the one I am after but you sure as hell have pissed me off. I am going to finish you, nice and slow. " Venom growled at the bug and kicked him in the chest, sending him through the window and to the outside once again. Venom climbed through the hole he made and slammed Spider-Man down onto the road with his massive foot.

"You won't win.." Miles struggled to say as the creature was making it hard for him to breathe.

Venom laughed again as he applied more pressure to Spider-Man's chest. "Kid you have guts I will admit that. You stopped me from killing the other bug last time so I have to kill you now. No hard feelings, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. " Venom ignored the police sirens that were getting closer and closer. He opened his mouth wide and was about to bite the wall-crawler's head off when suddenly a bright light from above blinded him. He shielded his eyes with his massive hand./ He looked around as police cars all with their sirens blaring surrounded him and Spider-Man.

"Freeze! Put your hands up in the air or we will open fire!" Shouted the voice of Captain George Stacy.

Venom went to speak but suddenly he felt unbearable pain spring up throughout his body as the sirens just seemed to get louder. Everyone watched as the creature started to scream out in pain. The creature tried to cover its ears but it was no use.

Venom stood up and removed his foot from Spider-Man's chest. He had to get away from the noise and quickly. He fired a tendril onto a lampost and started to quickly swing away from the blaring noise that was now following him. Miles struggled to his feet and was about to go after him when Captain Stacy rested a hand on his shoulder.

"Not tonight son, you just took a beating, we can look for that thing tonight. " Captain Stacy said as he quickly turned and spoke to one of his officers.

Miles stumbled towards the front door of May's house and walked inside, the sight that greeted him was truly heartbreaking. On the kitchen floor, he saw Felicia clutching the dead body of her father, as her heartbroken sobs tore his soul apart.

A/N - Well guys that is the end of Act 1! What did you all think? This was a fun chapter to write since it was mostly action but I really hope you are all enjoying the way I write my Venom. The story has now truly reached a new level and our heroes truly have a war to fight. See you all next time!
