I stood frozen as I held the nasty note in my shaky hands.I cannot believe someone would write this nasty of a letter to me.

Nothing happened between me and Kaito,all we did was sleep in the same bed.

My hands won't stop shaking. No no don't cry.I won't cry.

I sniffled slightly as I read the note again. The note says I slept with Kaito.

I shook my head and closed my eyes."We didn't!"

Could Meiko be doing all this? I know she couldn't do it all herself. She has to have some help.

"Ring Ring"

I whirled around, my phone was ringing. After my last phone call,I was afraid to answer it.

Gathering my courage,I pick up the phone."Hello?"

"Hey Miku!"

Oh thank god,it's just Luka.

"Hey Luka." I said,sighing in relief.

"I'm on my way to pick up Rin and then we will be by to get you." Luka replied.

"Oh right hhehe school." I mumbled,looking at the hole in my window.

"Are you okay?" Luka asked concerned.

"Actually...I had a nightmare last night." I wanted to tell her the truth but it might put her and Rin in danger too.

"Ahhh well no worries,it was just a dream." Luka assured.

"R-Right...ok I'll be ready when you get here." I said as cheerfully as I could manage.

"Ok! bye" Luka said and then hung up.

I sighed as I crumpled up the note and threw it in the trash.I never want to read that again.

I suddenly felt the need to talk to Kaito.I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.

He picked up on the 3rd ring.

"Hello?" His voice sounded like he was winded.

"Kaito." I whispered.I felt such relief to just hear his voice,my eyes started to water.

"Miku...what's wrong?" He asked at once.

"I...I." I choked back a sob.I couldn't speak suddenly.

"Miku...you're scaring me! what's wrong?" He asked.

Holding back my sobs.I tried to talk agian."I'm scared."

"What happened?" Kaito asked urgently

"W-When you left my house...someone threw a rock through my window. A-and a note attached." I sobbed.

"I'm on the way." I heard him say then hang up.

I dried my tears and grabbed a tissue. My reflection in the mirror was a mess.

I quickly grabbed some clothes from my closet and threw them on. Just a shirt and jeans. Don't feel like getting all dolled up.

Grabbing my bag,I quickly went down stairs.

I sat my bag on the living room coffee table.I sighed,I didn't mean to call him.I just felt so scared.

Now He's going to be asking about everything that happened.

"Ding dong"

I hurried over to the door and opened it. Kaito immediately grabbed my shoulders and brought me into a hug.

"Kaito!" I whispered as I wrapped my arms around his back.

"Are you okay?!" He whispered in my ear.

A lone tear fell down my cheek as I looked up at him. Kaito carefully wiped away the tear and offered me a small smile.

"I shouldn't have left you alone." He said,sounding mad at himself.

I shook my head and placed my hands on his shirt."It wasn't your fault."

Kaito cupped my cheeks with his hands as he looked into my eyes. my teal eyes met his deep blue eyes.

"I'm supposed to protect you." He whispered.

My heart melted at his tender words.I closed my eyes and brought my hand to cover his.

"Just you being here is...everything." I said softly.

"Miku.." His voice but a whisper as he stared into my eyes.

"Ding dong"

Kaito frowned at the door and went to open it.

"Oh Hi Luka and Rin." Kaito greeted,letting them in.

"Hi Kaito." Luka greeted and then she saw me. She let out a little gasp as She ran to my side.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

Rin huffed and glared at Kaito."What did you do?"

Kaito rolled his eyes and came back over to me.I giggled at Rin and shook my head."He didn't do anything."

Kaito placed a hand on my shoulder."You should stay home today."

Luka frowned at his suggestion."What is going on?"

'I'm not feeling that great." I said to Luka."I'm feeling pretty lousy."

Kaito turned to Luka and Rin."Can you girls please stay with her?"

Rin and Luka looked at each other and nodded.

"I don't fully understand what's going on but yeah,We'll stay with her." Luka assured.

Kaito nodded and thanked them. Then he came over to me."I'll be back. But you won't be alone." He whispered.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I need to find Meiko. We have things to discuss." Kaito said angrily

Kaito said goodbye to all of us and then closed the front door.I sighed and sat back on the couch. Luka and Rin decided we should watch some movies,so we all sat on the couch with some snacks.
