A/N - Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well! I have been really busy with some stuff and haven't had time to write the next chapter for this story. I apologize for such a long wait but hopefully, these next few chapters will make it up to you. Well let's get to the chapter, shall we?

Chapter 14

Spider-Man was currently swinging his way towards the Osborn Penthouse. He was fueled by hatred and vengeance, something he has never truly felt before. How could Harry turn into such a monster he thought to himself, trying to wrap his head around things but his mind was on a full revenge run and it wouldn't settle until it did some real damage as Harry did to Felicia and Walter.

"Almost there" Spider-Man whispered to himself. He continued swinging and finally landed on the roof of the Osborn penthouse, bringing back memories of MJ jumping from the balcony last year to get away from Sable. Spider-Man shook his head to clear his thoughts and jumped down onto the balcony he was just thinking about. He looked around briefly and saw that it still looked the same as it did last time he was here. He opened his web-shooters having pre-loaded them with his electric webbing, knowing what Miles's electricity did to Harry last time they met.

Once he was satisfied with the amount of webbing he had left, he walked towards the glass door and put his foot right through it, causing the glass to break and fall to the floor with a loud crash. He stepped over the broken glass and turned his head towards what sounded like growling. His Spider-Sense went off and he did a backflip to avoid the piece of wall that had just gone flying past his head.

"Well look who it is, the little Spider has come to play with me again. " Said Venom mockingly as he spied Spider-Man from a beam above.

Spider-Man just looked at him, his lenses squinting in obvious anger. Without talking he fired a web line at Venom but the creature dodged it easily and started to laugh, a deep cruel laugh.

"Aww is Petey all upset? Would you like to join Hardy and your stupid Aunt and Uncle? " This caused Spider-Man to flinch as he listened to Venom's words. He looked at the creature who was continuing to laugh, his blood was beginning to boil. Without warning, Peter threw the hardest punch he could but Venom quickly caught his hand and threw him through the window and onto the balcony. Spider-Man shook his head to try and clear the feeling of dizziness when his Spider-Sense suddenly went off and he had to dodge Venom once again as he came towards Spider-Man at full speed. Venom continued to move at full speed even after missing and went crashing into the swimming pool, hitting his head on the hard concrete at the side of the pool.

Spider-Man saw this and started to think of a plan as a news helicopter pulled up in the air with a camera watching the action. Without worrying about the news helicopter, Spider-Man fired his electric webs at Venom and watched as the electricity traveled through the water and the creature's body. Venom screamed out in pain as the water quickly started to smoke as the pain Venom was feeling continued to get worse.

"PLEASE STOP IT!" Venom growled at Spider-Man as he tried to get out of the water but the electricity was too much and was making it very hard to move his limbs.

"How does it feel huh? Now you truly know what pain feels like, maybe you shouldn't kill other people's families. " Spider-Man was getting prepared to fire a web bomb at Venom so that he couldn't escape the pool but was distracted as he heard a voice through a megaphone.

"Spider-Man stand down!" Said the voice of Captain Stacy from a helicopter that had just appeared. "This isn't what you do Spider-Man, please stand down and get out of the area so we can take over. "

Spider-Man looked at Venom writhing in pain, attached a normal web to the creature, and pulled him from the electrified water and onto the concrete at his feet. Without waiting for a response from the police Captain he jumped from the building and swung away, leaving the police to take care of Harry.

"What was all that about?" asked one of the officers who were assisting Captain Stacy in trying to handcuff the unconscious Venom.

"I don't know Jenkins, but what I do know is that wasn't Spider-Man. " Said Captain Stacy as he shook his head at the officers trying to cuff the creature.

"Maybe it's him now showing his true colors? " Replied Jenkins but Captain Stacy just shook his head.

"No I don't think that's it, he saved my son and my daughter, I don't think he is a bad guy, maybe he is just having some issues and lost it, I don't know. "

All conversation was cut when they heard an earth-shattering screech erupt from the creature and they quickly dove for cover as the creature stood up and sliced the throat of one of the officers. Venom went to swipe at another officer but was quickly getting shot at. He screeched again and jumped from the building and swinging out of sight.

"Get me EMT's Now!" Yelled Captain Stacy as he rushed over to check on his injured officer but it was already too late, he was dead.

Oscorp

Venom crashed through the window of Oscorp tower out of exhaustion. He looked up and saw Alastair Smythe was nursing a bruise on his cheek and sitting behind his desk. Venom growled and Smythe now realizing he was here stood up and quickly rushed over to Venom.

"What happened? " Smythe asked but he was thinking he already knew the answer.

"Peter Parker happened " Venom growled as he began to change back to Harry Osborn. "I want the CRS looking for Spider-Man at all times, screw helping the cops, we are going all out to find that bug and kill him for what he has just done to me!"

Peter & Felicia's Apartment

Peter hopped through the window of the balcony and quickly deposited his mask. He looked at the bed and saw Felicia sleeping soundly still, so he walked over and sat down next to her gently, trying to not wake her up. He ran his gloved hand through her blonde hair and smiled at Felicia smiled in her sleep and leaned into his touch. His smile dropped from his face when he heard the TV from the living room. He got up and walked to the living room and saw MJ sitting on the couch, an angry expression on her face as she watched the news.

"What are you watching?" Peter asked cautiously as he watched the news cut to a video of what he had done to Venom earlier.

"WHAT AM I WATCHING!? yelled MJ as she turned around and stared at Peter. "Why don't you answer that one Peter? Why am I watching Spider-Man try to kill one of his enemies!?"

"He killed Walter, He hurt Felicia!" Peter yelled back as he began to pace the floor, glaring at MJ. "What was I supposed to do? Let him get away with it?"

"No you're not supposed to let him get away with it, but it doesn't give you the right to kill someone. That isn't you Peter" MJ was trying to calm herself down.

"I really don't care who I am right now, I want him to suffer like he made Felicia suffer!" Yelled Peter who was starting to pace faster than before.

"Well, I care! You are not a killer Peter Parker!" MJ yelled back at him and walked past him towards the front door, she turned around and shook her head, and left the house.

"What's all the yelling about?" Asked a tired Felicia as she slowly walked into the room. She looked at a very irritated Peter who was standing on the spot MJ left him in.

Peter turned around to face her and just pulled her into a hug, resting his head against her shoulder. "I screwed up, I almost killed Harry tonight" Felicia's eyes widened, and pulled away from him to look into his eyes. "The important word in there is almost, it means you didn't do it. "

"I know but I wanted to that's the problem, I am dropping to their level and when I promised to protect this city, I promised to never kill"

Felicia cupped Peter's cheeks in her hands and gave him a gentle kiss. " Hey you are not them, Peter Parker you are not a bad person, Spider-Man is not a bad person. You had a bad thought but you didn't follow through. I wanted to kill him as well but seeing you like this makes me realize it's not worth it, we have to be better than them and aim for true justice at all times, we are not killers Peter. "

Peter nodded his head and leaned against hers again, his hands touching her waist gently. "How do you know how to break down all my mental barriers and get through to the real me? It seems very easy for you. "

"Of course it's easy, it is my job, after all, to always look after you. " Felicia smiled and kissed his nose causing him to laugh. "I love you, Peter Parker"

"I love you too Felicia Hardy " Peter dropped his lips down to hers and gave her a deep but gentle kiss. " I promise to never do anything like that again.

"I know you won't and I promise the same thing. " Felicia said with a small smile and took his hand, starting to lead him back to the bedroom. "Come on, I want to get more sleep and I am missing my pillow. "

"Your pillow? Asked Peter who was confused

"You dummy, you are very comfortable to sleep with. " Felicia gave him a small grin and pushed him onto the bed before crawling in herself. Felicia gave him another kiss before resting her head on his chest and feeling his arms wrap around her again.

"Sleep tight Felicia, and thank you for always having my back. " Peter said softly as he kissed her hair.

"Anything for you baby " Felicia replied and drifted off to sleep.

A/N - I really hope that chapter was worth the wait! I hope you all enjoyed and are excited to officially be halfway through the story when chapter 15 hits sometime in the near future. As always if you lovely people could review, fav and follow it would be really appreciated. I have just been looking at the story stats and while they are pretty good, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been more successful and I would really like this story to be up there as well so I would appreciate the help!
