A/N - Hello everyone, how the hell are ya? I am so sorry for the long delay but it's really hard to write when it's so hot outside, especially where I live, we barely get any sun. Although when we do, it's always really bad. Anyway, with this chapter, we are officially halfway through the story. I really hope you have been enjoying the darker approach to this story so far I promise at the end it will all be worth it.

Chapter 15

Morales Apartment

Miles was currently sat on his bed, his back against the headboard doing his homework. Miles continued to try and solve an equation in his mind, the pen he was currently holding kept on swinging between his fingers as the younger man tried to solve the problem. As Miles went to write down his answer, he was interrupted by his friend Ganke, who was typing away as he coded his game Speed Nonagon.

"Hey man, when are you going to let me play?" Asked MIles, causing Ganke to stop typing and turn in his chair to face his friend.

"When it's finished.. or when you tell me who the other Spider-Man is" Ganke joked the last part as he saw Miles's lips move upwards in a slight smile.

"Not a chance dude, I won't be telling anyone. "

"You're no fun, so did you see the news the other night? It was pretty rough seeing the other Spider-Man lose his cool on live tv. I actually thought he was going to kill that thing in the water" Said Ganke who had an unsure look on his face. He removed his glasses and started to rub his tired eyes.

Miles just looked at Ganke, stuck in his own deep thoughts of what happened that day that Pete almost killed Harry. Miles hadn't heard from Pete in a few days and it worried him. Yes, Pete did a bad thing but that wasn't who Peter truly is. Miles sighed and got up, he was going to go check on Peter.

"Yo Ganke, let my Mom know I will be back late, I need to go do some Spider-Man stuff. "

Ganke waved his hand at Miles as the teenager jumped from his window.

Oscorp Tower

Harry sat on his office chair eyeing the leader of the CRS as he gave his daily report. Harry wasn't happy with what he was hearing so far and this was evident when he slammed his hands down onto his desk, luckily he was fully human right now and didn't do anything apart from making Alastair jump beside him and have the leader of CRS stop his daily report.

"You mean to tell me that the bug hasn't left his spider web in the last few days?" Harry asked in a dangerous voice before standing up, placing his hands behind his back, and pacing in front of the huge window that overlooked Manhattan.

"No sir, we haven't found a trace of Priority Target 1 or 2. " Replied the leader who was now slightly nervous.

"Well how about you use your brain, Maguire! " Yelled Harry as he got into the leader's face. "I want you to go down to the police station and look up the address of Peter Parker and Felicia Hardy. They must have something and I want it if they do now. I want you and Garfield over there" Harry pointed at the redheaded man in swat gear by the door. "Out of my office. I want the files I need by the end of the day!"

The leader gulped slightly and nodded his head before leaving through the door with his partner. Harry watched them leave before turning to Smythe who was fidgeting in the corner.

"A storm is coming Mr. Smythe, you best be ready for it when it does. " Harry said with a slight smirk on his face.

Midtown Police Precinct

Captain Stacy sat behind his desk looking at the files that were continually getting larger as the day went. He was in the process of reading about a guy called Cletus Kasaday who was currently locked up in Ravencroft. It seems this Cletus guy was causing a lot of problems for the staff at Ravencroft and they were asking for Captain Stacy to send some officers to Westchester County to keep the peace.

"Sir? " Captain Stacy looked up to one of his officers who was talking to him.

"What do you need Officer Holland?" Asked the Captain as he put his hands behind his head to listen.

"Some of the CRS guys have come in asking for files on Peter Parker and Felicia Hardy," replied Officer Holland.

"Parker and Hardy?" Asked a confused Captain Stacy.

"Yes sir, I have no idea what they want them for. "

"Well, I guess we have to give them the files. If it was up to me, I wouldn't this whole thing is kinda fishy but the police are supposed to be working with these guys so it's out of my hands. The new Mayor's orders I am afraid since he approved Harry Osborn's idea for the CRS."

"Yes, sir" Officer Holland walked away and started handing the requested files to the CRS team as Captain Stacy watched on, having a bad feeling. He watched as the CRS began to leave and stood up from his chair, he was going to follow them and see what they were up to.

Peter & Felicia's Apartment

Miles landed with a soft thud on the balcony and entered the living room. He looked around and saw Peter and Felicia were cooking at the stove, Felicia's arms wrapped around Peter's waist as smells of chicken curry hit Miles's nose, he couldn't lie, it smelled great.

"Hey Pete" Miles announced himself as he walked closer to the couple who now turned to face him.

"Oh hey Miles, what brings you here?" Asked Felicia in a sweet tone.

"I wanted to see how Pete was doing, I saw what happened the other day. " Said Miles softly as he noticed Peter's face drop its welcoming smile and be replaced by a sad look.

"I am doing okay... I uh I am sorry that you had to see that. I understand if you don't want to help me with Spider-Man duties from now on " Peter said all of this and it causes Miles to stare at him with a confused look.

"Pete I know what happened the other day wasn't you. I am not here to tell you I am leaving, I am here to tell you that I got your back and I always will have your back man."

Peter looked at Miles and slowly walked towards him and pulled him into a tight hug. "Thank you, Miles, that means a lot to me to still have your support. I promise it will never happen again "

"Of course it won't," said Felicia as she kissed Peter on his cheek, "Now get back to that stove Parker, I am hungry " Miles laughed as Peter walked back towards the stove and continued to cook.

"Want to join us, Miles? We have more than enough to around " Asked Felicia as she handed Miles a cold water bottle from the fridge.

Miles took the water bottle and took an appreciative sip. "I would love to stay for dinner, it smells too damn good to resist. "

"Language young man," Said Peter from the stove causing Felicia to giggle at the banter between the 2 of them.

"Oh please, don't give me that young man speech Pete. You know I could beat you at anything now right?" Miles had a cocky smile on his face as Peter turned to face him.

"Are you sure about that Miles?" Peter asked with an equally cocky smile of his own.

"Of course, any sport or fight, anytime, anywhere!"

"Okay, let's go shoot some hoops after dinner and see if you can back up all that trash talk huh?"

"You're on"

Peter turned the stove off with a smile and was about to start plating up dinner when his Spider-Sense went off, he looked at Miles and saw that he too had noticed something off.

"Felicia get my suit and grab yours too.. something is wrong," asked Peter

Felicia nodded and slipped out of the room to grab their suits. She returned a moment later with hers on and handing Peter his. Peter was just pulling on his mask when he heard something outside the front door. He pulled his mask on quickly and saw that Miles and Felicia had already done the same thing. His Spider-Sense flared once again, this time it was much stronger, he heard an explosion, and the door to the front of the house shattered into pieces as a group of men in swat gear came running into the house guns pointed at them.

"Don't move, we have the whole place surrounded. Come with us or we will shoot all three of you " said the leader of the CRS.

"You know guys, that sounds great. I am sure you are gonna take us on an all-exclusive paid vacation. Where are we going? Wait don't tell me I want it to be a surprise. " Joked Peter causing Felicia to laugh slightly. Miles just stared in awe at Peter's joke.

"You have one more warning before we are forced to use deadly force. Surrender or you will die. "

"Oh god.. you found my weakness.. anything but a small threat please." Peter yawned and fired a web bomb, watching it explode and stick all of the CRS to the wall.

"Well guys, It was nice... " Peter couldn't finish his sentence because without warning the wall exploded and in came Venom, at full speed as he landed on Peter and pinned him to the floor. Venom turned and fired tendrils at Miles and Felicia, sticking them to the wall above the couch. He turned his attention back to Peter who was trying to free himself from the weight of Venom.

A Couple Minutes Ago...

Captain Stacy ran up the stairs following the CRS who had climbed them a minute before. He ran all the way to the top before stopping outside a house that now had no door. He peeked around the corner and saw Spider-Man web up all the CRS men who were holding guns on him and what looks like Black Cat and the other Spider-Man.

Hew was about to announce his presence when one of the walls exploded and the creature from the other day came crashing down on top of Spider-Man, trapping the other 2 in the room in the process. Captain Stacy took out his gun and took cover beside where the door was supposed to be and listened.

Back To The Present

"Aww poor Parker, look at you struggling. I must say I love this power my father gave me. All he wanted to do was cure his son and you killed him before he could complete his work"

Venom picked up Peter and slammed him down back first onto the floor, winding him and making Felicia scream.

"You hear that Pete? That's your woman screaming for your life. Now you know how it feels for me to sit back and watch you murder my father on live television. "

"I didn't kill your father Harry... He killed himself" Peter struggled to get his breath back but it was no use, Venom punched him in the chest, breaking several ribs in the process.

"Liar! You made his suit explode with those damn electric webs.. just like you used them to almost kill me but that damn Captain stopped you from unleashing your true self. You are a monster Peter Parker, an even bigger monster than I will ever be"

"He isn't a monster. you are" Miles yelled defiantly from the wall, causing Venom to laugh.

"Ahh look who it is, the Spider-Man who I beat up at Queens. It's nice to see you are trying to be a man but I am afraid the adults are talking. "

"Get off of him, fight me instead" Miles struggled against the tendrils but they were too strong.

"Oh I will fight you and I will kill you but first I must kill Peter Parker. When I kill him, I am going to make sure everyone sees it just like how they saw him kill my father. "

Venom punched Peter in the face several times until blood started to escape from his mask. Felicia watched on in horror while trying to escape to help her boyfriend. Venom looked down at the now unconscious Spider-Man and picked him up. He threw Peter over his shoulder and turned to Felicia and Miles with an evil smirk. He walked closer to Felicia and ran a claw down her cheek and taking her chin in his hand.

"I will see you soon for the big party, black cat... make sure you wear your best suit. "

Felicia shot dagger into his face as she watched him jump from the window with her boyfriend and swing away.

A/N - Well guys that is that for chapter 15! I really hope you all enjoyed it. Since we are now officially halfway through the story, the action will pick up and the ultimate showdown is coming.
