A/N - Welcome to chapter 18 everyone! I have been feeling very motivated lately thanks to what I have planned for this story. I hope you have been enjoying the pacing and also the overall story so far. We are almost done with act 2 of the story and the final battle is really about to begin and I have so many cool ideas and plan to make this the best battle I have ever written, I hope you all enjoy the ride I have in store for every one of you!
"She is here, " Venom said as he looked around for the appearance of the cat but it didn't come. Instead, a flashbang grenade bounced in front of Venom and flashed in front of him, blinding the monster, causing him to growl in anger as he furiously tried to get his vision back. As Venom was distracted and blinded, Felicia leaped into the room with a bag over her shoulder. She quickly made it over to Peter and ran her hands over his shoulders, trying to get his attention on her.
"Felicia..." Came a breathless reply from Peter, clearly, Venom's beating has truly taken its toll on her boyfriend. Felicia ran her hands under the bag on his head before removing it. She gasped as she looked at his bruised and bloodied face. Felicia turned around and saw Venom was no longer distracted and was making his way towards them, still slightly blinded. Felicia reached into her belt and threw a flashbang again, exploding it in front of him and far enough away from her and Peter so they wouldn't get blinded.
"Okay, you have to listen to me, alright baby?" Felicia said softly as she held Peter's face in her hands. "I have a spare suit in this bag for you, put it on and cover me as best as you can okay? You are hurt so let me take care of Harry."
Peter was about to protest but Felicia silenced him with a gentle kiss to the lips. She took his spare mask from the bag and put it over his face, watching the lenses shift slightly as he made sure the mask software was working properly.
She stood up again and started to circle Venom who had just recovered again, hoping to keep Venom's attention on her instead of Peter.
"Well well, the cat finally showed her pretty little face. It's a shame really that I have to rip it clean off your head. " Venom took a swipe at Felicia with his claws and watched the cat dodge his attack.
"You are fast I will give you that but you won't beat me. " Venom fired a tendril at Felicia but she again jumped out of the way. Venom was beginning to grow frustrated and went to throw an attack again but he pulled back watching her dodge again and caught her, his hand wrapped around her neck. Felicia's eyes widened when she got caught and was slammed into the ground hard. Felicia let out a groan of agony as all the wind was knocked from her body. Venom leaned over her and lowered his head so he was just above her face. The symbiote began to retract and it showed Harry's face, a smirk on his lips.
"You are going to die Felicia Hardy but I am feeling generous I think I will let you watch when I kill your boyfriend, just like when you watched me murder your father. " Harry began to laugh, causing Felicia to become incensed. She raised her hands and grabbed Harry's face and sank her claws into his cheeks causing him to scream out in pain and for the symbiote to quickly take its place on his face again. Venom moved back and stared down at Felicia who just gave him a smirk in return.
"Lucky shot you bitch " Venom raised his foot and went to drive into Felicia but she rolled out the way. Venom fired a tendril and it wrapped around Felicia's ankle. He pulled her closer to him and sank his claw into her leg, causing her to yell out in pain. Felicia was raised from the ground so she was upside down and facing Venom.
"You know I really hate what your boyfriend did to my father, first I was doing this all to avenge him but now after all this time, I realized I just like being bad, I love killing people and most importantly I love the power. " Venom spoke with a growl, as Felicia struggled against his hold.
"I don't see a man with power, I see a scared little man trying to play a big boy. Mark my worlds asshole, when you're out of that thing, I am going to kick your ass"
Venom just laughed at what Felicia said and raised his claws again. "That would be fun to see but I am afraid you have pissed me off, I was going to let you live a little longer but I think it's better I just kill you now. "
Felicia threw a punch at Venom's face but he caught it in his clawed hand and threw it away forcibly. He raised his claws again and was about to impale the cat burglar but instead all he felt was electricity going through his body. Venom screamed out in agony and dropped Felicia as he started to thrash around as the electricity traveled through his body.
Felicia was able to land on her feet and turned to see Venom thrashing around in pain, she looked behind Venom and saw Peter with electric webs attached to the creature. Her boyfriend's lenses had a look of deep concentration on them as he continued to hurt the creature.
"Peter," Felicia said and drew his attention. Peter stopped using the electric webs and watched Harry fall to the floor as his body convulsed. Peter walked over to Felicia and wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug.
"Are you okay?" Both of them asked at the same time, causing them to laugh softly and continue to hold each other.
"I am not finished with you yet Parker. " Peter and Felicia turn to Harry who was just getting up to his feet again, looking angry.
"I hope you have a plan cause I don't " Peter whispered to Felicia as Harry just glared at them, trying to get full control of his body back.
"I do, Miles, Captain Stacy, and MJ are on it," Felicia replied and wrapped her hand around his arm.
"Captain Stacy?" Peter asked her in confusion.
"I will explain later but long story short we need to create a lot of noise, the creature is weak to it and I think its a way we can get Harry out of that thing without killing him, " Felicia said the last part with distaste, she wanted Harry to feel her pain but she knew she wasn't that person.
"Noise.. noise," Peter said softly to himself as he looked around until his lenses expanded, the tell-tale sign that he had figured something out. " The speakers?" He asked her and she gave him a soft smile.
"Smart boy" Felicia laughed as he raised his eyes at her "Yes we are going to use the speakers. The others are making their way to the security room and turning everything to the max and they are going to make every speaker into a weapon against that asshole. "
"Okay well let's save the day shall we Miss Hardy?" Peter asked and she nodded as they both jumped into action.
Security Room
Miles busted the door open to the security room having to force his way through black tendrils holding it closed. He looked around and saw that there were three dead security guards, their throats had been slit and blood pooled the floor around them. Miles covered his face as MJ and the Captain came in behind him. Captain Stacy took a look around and shook his head.
"I am sorry boys," The Captain said softly as he looked at the dead bodies.
MJ looked around at the bodies and felt sick but being a reporter she had seen stuff like this before. She noticed Miles's reaction and noticed that he was close to breaking down. She wrapped her arms around him and removed him from the office.
"Can you make sure none of the inmates escape and cause any trouble for us?" MJ asked the shaken teenager who nodded in return. MJ gave Miles a soft hug and allowed him to hold her for as long as he needed before he leaned back and went to do his assigned task.
MJ entered the security office as Captain Stacy was watching the cameras. He watched as Spider-Man and Black Cat kept dodging Venon's attacks.
"He is looking better, " The Captain said softly before turning his attention to the computer, he started to look through the system looking for the alarm system files and control system.
"Yeah, he does, I just hope they both come out of this alive " MJ said softly as she began to help the captain look through the computers.
Cell Block
Miles was currently walking through the cellblocks, no guards were in sight. Miles realized that Harry must have killed them all. Miles couldn't understand why Harry didn't release all of the inmates. Hell, he was surprised all of the inmates they saw on tv had returned to their cells without an issue. Miles kept walking deep in thought when he heard someone speak to him.
He turned to a guy who looked familiar. The guy smirked as he now had the attention of the bug. "Nice to see you Spidey, remember my boss will be seeing you soon."
Miles's eyes widened, it's the guy he took down a couple of weeks ago. "Yeah whenever your boss decides to show himself, tell him I am waiting," Miles replied and kept on walking trying to ignore the laughing of the man behind him.
"Oh he can't wait to meet you, he has already cut up the other bug before with a sword, just wait and see what he does to you kid "
Miles continued to ignore the man and went onto another cell block, this one was closest to where Pete and Felicia were currently fighting Harry.
"The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout, down came Cletus and took the spider out" came the sadistic voice of someone.
Miles turned and saw a redheaded man watching him with a crazed look on his eye from behind the cell bars. The man smiled at him and reached out only to drag his hand back into the cell.
"Well look who it is, It's Spider-Man number two. Oh, thank you for blessing us inmates with your presence Spider-Man number two. I am sure we will meet again soon "
Miles just shook his head and walked away again as Cletus continued his song from earlier.
"The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout, down came Cletus and took the spider out"
A/N - Well guys what did you think? I really hope you enjoyed this chapter, the final battle has officially begun. Will the plan work, can they really get to Harry without killing him or will our heroes be forced to go to drastic measures! As always a review or two would really help me out. I am not sure everyone knows but there will be a Marvel's Spider-Man 4, it will be the end of my trilogy as I would like to move onto other things but my story with Peter and Felicia is far from over, we still have many more things for them to face together!
