A/N - Welcome to Act 3 of Marvel's Spider-Man 3! I have been very busy for the last month, I have been thinking about the best ways to end this story because I already have the final plan in place for Marvel's Spider-Man 4 which I have stated will be the last story for our heroes in this universe or will it? I don't know I am still deciding what to do but Marvel's Spider-Man 4 will be the last in the trilogy and I may do some smaller stories on the side, we shall see!
Also yes I have seen that Insomniac and Playstation revealed Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Yes I lost my mind along with everyone else. Venom is gonna be badass, especially since he is being voiced by Tony Todd, the original Candyman! Kraven is gonna be good as well, I am very excited for 2023 to get here.
Chapter 20
The sirens came bursting through the speakers around the institute, Venom physically winced as the noise started, it gradually got louder and the symbiote started to scream in pain in his head.
"What are you doing to me?" Harry or Venom screamed it wasn't clear at this stage as the creature started to let out a scream of agony, causing the occupants who weren't trying to hold Venom in place to cover their ears, the scream was so loud that MJ and the Captain had to cover their ears in the security room.
"I will get out of this and rip you all limb from limb. " Screamed the creature as it felt to its Knees, trying to cover its ears with this clawed hands but it was no use.
"Harry I am slipping away," Venom said in Harry's head, both of them in absolute agony from the noise.
"Don't leave me! I need you!" Harry yelled out loud, causing those around him to stare at him, wondering who he is talking to.
"The pain is too much," Venom said.
Spider-Man watched the scene play out, he hobbled over to Felicia who continued fire electric webbing into Venom's body. He leaned his head on her shoulder and just sighed in relief.
"You came for me " Peter whispered to his girlfriend.
"Of course I would come for you, I would never leave you to die," Felicia replied as tears of relief started to roll down her cheeks.
Spider-Man laughed but quickly started to cough due to the amount of damage done to his body. He looked back towards Venom again, who now had his back to him. The creature was writhing in pain on the floor when suddenly Spider-Man saw a shirt reveal itself in the middle of the symbiote's back. He fired a webbed and it attached to the back of Harry and started to pull with all the strength he had left.
Harry felt the web hit his back which shocked him as suddenly he was beginning to get pulled from Venom. The symbiote put up a fight and was winning the battle for strength when Miles suddenly sent more volts of Electricity through its body, causing the creature to scream out again. Harry tried to swing a claw at Miles but it was no use, the teenager dodged it with ease.
Spider-Man attached the web he was holding to the wall behind him. He then fired another web at Harry's back again and began to pull once again, Felicia looked to her side and saw Peter grunt in agony as he continued to pull with all his might. Felicia was on the fence, she wanted Harry to suffer and burn with the symbiote but did she have it in her to kill a man? The man had killed her father without remorse but by killing Harry she would be no better than him. Making her choice, she released the electric webbing on the creature and fired another web at Harry's back, she began to pull with Peter, both of them struggling.
"Come on guys, you almost got him!" Miles yelled over the noise of the sirens, adding more volts to his electricity as he went. He watched as Peter and Felicia eventually separated Harry from the symbiote. Harry was sent flying back against the floor, the symbiote screamed after being separated from its host and instantly tried to merge with Miles but the young hero was fast and let go of the symbiote. The symbiote was now on the floor, a puddle of black goo that had tendrils coming out of it. It started to move towards Harry again who was beginning to stir after being thrown away from the creature. However, Miles fired webs at the symbiote and trapped it.
"You all did this to me" Miles turned at the sound of Harry's voice. Harry was struggling to get up from the floor, his body had taken a beating from all of the electricity. He turned his hateful gaze on the three people in the room before stopping fully on Spider-Man, Harry snarled and went charge at Spider-Man, but was cut off midway by a boot to the face from one Felicia Hardy, knocking the man unconscious.
"That's for killing my father you asshole" Felicia spat with Venom in her voice as she stared down at the man who killed her father. The moment was getting too much for her and she found herself sobbing into her gloved hands at the loss of her father and finally stopping the man who murdered him. She felt familiar strong arms wrap around her waist and she was pulled against her lover's chest as she was now crying into his chest, letting out all of the grief she has been holding in.
Spider-Man looked at Miles and gave him a thumbs-up as he ran a hand through Felicia's hair, letting her grief in her way. Miles nodded his head and turned as the door to the room was now opened, in walked MJ and Captain Stacy. The Captain walked towards Harry and quickly handcuffed him. He hauled the man up and MJ looked at her former friend with sadness in her eyes. She then looked at Peter and Felicia and walked over to them, she rubbed Felicia's back while giving Peter a knowing smile. Peter just shook his head and allowed MJ to hug him while he converted Felicia.
"Now is the time to do it" MJ whispered into Peter's ear so only he could hear her. He raised his lenses at her and she continued to smile at him. He got the hint eventually and nodded his head. He looked at Harry one last time before more officers entered the room and took him out.
"So where is this creature?" Captain Stacy asked.
"Oh it's over here..." Miles turned towards where he webbed up the creature but it was gone.
"It's gone!" Miles said with panic but the Captain placed a hand on his shoulder.
"It's alright kid, I will get my team to look for it throughout the institute, it couldn't have gotten far. "
Miles nodded and went to talk to the others.
"You did great Miles" Whispered Felicia after she had stopped sobbing into Peter's chest. She gripped Peter's suit in her hands as she faced the teenager.
"You are a true hero and I think you have a very bright future ahead for you. " Peter and MJ quickly agreed, causing Miles to smile. He hugged MJ and Felicia before turning to Peter. Felicia and MJ shared a smile and walked over to the Captain as he lead them out the place, leaving Peter and Miles alone.
"Hey, Pete I am sorry I let that thing get away. " Miles said with regret feeling like he let his mentor down but Peter placed his gloved hand on Miles's shoulder.
"Miles we will find it, it's okay. As Felicia said, you have done a fantastic job and I would've been dead if it wasn't for you, and the others. You are a damn good Spider-Man Miles, you should be proud, I know I am and I know Jeff is as well."
Miles leaned forward and hugged Peter tightly, feeling on top of the world with that praise and thinking of how proud his father is proud of him.
Peter smiled at Miles as the hug broke. "Hey, do you think you can take patrol tonight? I have something I gotta do " Peter asked Miles.
"Yeah of course man, but what do you have to do? Can I help?" Miles asked eagerly.
Peter chuckled, "Nah I am good and you will find out soon I promise. "
Both of them walked out with their arm around each other's shoulders. Peter smiled under his mask when he saw Felicia talking to the Captain and MJ outside. She saw him coming and gave him a huge smile.
"Hey guys I am sorry to interrupt but I need to talk to this fine lady in private. "Peter asked the others as he and Felicia looked at each other.
"Of course, I will give these two a ride. " Captain Stacy replied with a smile.
"Thank you, Captain Stacy, for everything you have done for us," said Peter with a smile under his mask, he offered his hand and the Captain happily shook it.
"Well the pleasure is all mine Peter, and please call me George" The Captain smirked as the web head's lenses raised in surprise and walked away.
"How does he know my name?" Peter asked the three around him.
"Another time, now you two go talk! " Said MJ ushering them away as she and Miles headed with Captain Stacy.
Peter sighed and wrapped his arm around Felicia's waist and swung them to the top of the building out of sight of prying eyes. they landed and instantly embraced each other, Felicia was kissing every part of his masked face, causing Peter to laugh. He held Felicia back for a moment trying to not laugh at her pout.
"Before you get too excited I need to ask you something," Peter said with a smile under his mask.
"Well if you wanna ask me anything, take that dirty mask off " Felicia replied with a smile as his bruised face came into view. She looked at it with a sad smile but still ran her hand up to his cheek.
"I probably look very ugly right now. " Peter whispered as their foreheads rested against each other.
"No, I think you always look hot baby" Felicia replied with a giggle as Peter instantly looked away in embarrassment.
"Aww is little Spider too shy to talk to his gorgeous girlfriend" Felicia continued to joke at his expense but was quickly cut off as his lips crashed onto hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him as close as possible as the kiss deepened. She poured her heart and soul into the kiss as did he and they both felt it. After what felt like ages they broke apart, struggling for breath.
"Wow " Felicia started breathlessly as she stared into Peter's eyes. "That was the best kiss of my life"
Peter smiled at her softly, staring at her with so much love in his eyes. "Not mine"
Felicia looked at him and raised an eyebrow as he continued.
"My greatest kiss is still to come. "
"What do you mean, Peter?" asked Felicia who had a look of confusion on her face.
"My best kiss is still to come and I know when It's gonna happen." He said with confidence.
"How do you know?" She asked in return
"Because it's gonna be the first kiss we share when the pastor pronounces you as my wife."
"What.." Felicia asked as tears sprung to her eyes, she watched as Peter got down on one knee and removed a ring from his suit. She covered her mouth as he took her left hand and held it. The tears rolled down her cheeks faster in anticipation.
"Felicia Hardy, will you marry me and become my beautiful wife?"
Felicia looked at Peter with so much love in her eyes and tackled him so that his back was against the roof. She straddled his lap and kissed him deeply,
"Of course I will" Felicia replied.
A/N - Well guys there is the moment a lot of you have been waiting for, this has always been the plan all along and I am so happy to finally be able to write it. I hope you all enjoyed the beginning of Act 3. The story now has one last event to take place and for once it's something great, the wedding of Peter Parker and Felicia Hardy.
