We're back baby! I am very sorry for the long delay I have been reading a lot of the reviews here on and I appreciate all of them. Also to everyone on Wattpad who has been reading the story on there, I hear you and I am back with Chapter 21! Thank you again to spidermanxblackcat for reuploading the stories I have done on Wattpad it means a lot. Before we start I wanted to let you know why I was absent. I lost someone very close to me a few months ago and it has been hard finding the motivation to write but after seeing NWH and geeking out again I knew I had to come back. Please enjoy the chapter everyone!
Chapter 21
"Alright, the fun is over get back to your cells and be good little prisoners" One of the guards yelled as they walked past a dark cell, no light coming from it at all. Inside this cell sat a man talking to himself or more so talking to the wall beside his bed.
"Oh such a shame the fun has stopped, I was kinda hoping that the Spider-Men and Cat lady would come to say hello.. but maybe next time Cletus will get a friend."
Cletus turned towards the hallway outside his cell bars and stared into the now pitch black environment. If someone walked passed then they would have seen nothing more than an evil toothy grin coming out from the darkness.
"What is it about me that makes the Spider-Man not want to play? I am a nice guy, yeah I have murdered a lot of people but someone has to have their hobbies right?" Cletus said again to himself.
"Kassidy keep it down in there!" Yelled a patrolling guard who smashed his baton against the metal bars. Cletus stared at the man in the darkness, his sick grin only getting larger.
"You best be careful guard, you don't want to startle me, it will end badly for you and your family. "
The guard just turned his flashlight on and pointed it at Cletus' face. The cell now had enough light coming from it so the guard looked around the cell and saw drawings on the wall made from what looked like blood. He looked down at Cletus' knuckles and noticed how bruised and beat up they were which now explained the blood on the walls.
"Say anything about my family again Kassidy and you will be going to the hole," Said the guard who was about to turn his light off but something moved in the corner of Cletus' cell. Cletus turned towards the noise and saw something moving towards him. He smirked as he recognized what it was.
"Hello, beautiful" Cletus said as the goo started to climb up his arm. Cletus let out a laugh mixed in with a scream as the goo started to take over his body through the cuts in his hands feeling his blood boil, the guard was watching in horror and didn't respond to a guard over his radio asking him what the noise was. He watched as the goo fully absorbed Kassidy and was no longer black, this thing was turning red.
"Oh wow.. this power, it feels amazing. "
"I know, it's nice to finally be acquainted with you Cletus, now since I am giving you all this power I need you to do something for me."
"Anything" Cletus said in awe
"Osborn was weak and couldn't handle what I had given him, I hope you can." Said the symbiote inside his mind.
"I can just tell me what you want.."
"I want you to kill the Spider-Men, I want that bitch Black Cat taken out as well."
"I look forward to it, I have wanted to meet the Spider-Men anyway, I had the pleasure of only meeting the new one so far. "
"Good now let's get started shall we?"
Cletus grinned and the goo morphed into a sadistic grin, he looked at the guard frozen in fear, and reach through the bars. He grabbed the guard by his neck and brought him closer.
"What's wrong guard?" Said Cletus as he noticed the fear in the guard's eyes. "Scared of a little Carnage?" Cletus laughed slightly and crushed the guard's neck with his hand, watching the life drain from his eyes. Cletus still not fully satisfied pulled the guard's head clean off his shoulders and smashed it against the wall as the rest of his body fell to the floor.
"Carnage huh?" Said the voice inside his head. "I like it "
"I do too," Cletus said with a smirk and broke from the cell, tearing it off its hinges. He made sure to take the most crowded route and killed several cops and prison guards on his way to the exit. He killed 4 guards at the front gate taking full advantage of this new power he possessed.
"Now off to the city we go... I need to pay a visit to several families.."
Felicia lazily rolled over in her sleep and felt the bed was empty next to her. She opened her eyes and was thankful to see the curtains were still closed. She went to yawn with her left hand and noticed the ring on her ring finger. She smiled, thankful that Peter proposing wasn't just a dream. She held the ring close to her face, inspecting it for the first time since the proposal, and felt tears come to her eyes. The ring was beautiful and the fact it belonged to Peter's Aunt May made it even more special.
"Felicia, are you awake?" She heard MJ call her from the living room.
"No" Felicia groaned and MJ laughed as she slid the door open to take in a tired Felicia.
"Even when you are just waking up you look gorgeous. I am not jealous at all, nope" MJ said with a chuckle causing Felicia to throw a pillow at her.
"Where is Peter?" Felicia asked sleepily as MJ sat on the edge of the bed.
"He went out to help Miles with some stuff, there was a huge breakout last night and Ravenscroft and some cops and guards have been killed so they have gone to help the police round up any who may have come to the city. "MJ said with worry.
"Holy shit that's awful. I should go help them." Felicia went to get up but winced as her body screamed in agony.
"I don't think so. Peter asked if I could take care of you if you need anything and I said yes because you did take a good beating yesterday. Also, I know it may be a bad time but some lawyers called Peter, apparently your dad had a will and the lawyers wanted to let you know that they had it and if you wanted it read. "
"Yeah, I guess I better get it over with. I want Peter here for it though, I don't think I could do it without him."
"He should be back soon, should I call the lawyers on your behalf and let them know to meet us here today?" MJ asked
"Yeah, I better get in a shower then." Felicia winced again and MJ helped her up from the bed. MJ helped Felicia walk over to the bathroom and handed her a towel before closing the door.
MJ stood around for a moment or so until she heard the shower water turn on before pulling her phone out and dialing the number Peter gave her. It rang several times before a woman answered.
"Hi, this is Mary Jane Watson calling on Behalf of Felicia Hardy, just to confirm that she would like you guys to meet her today at her apartment. Anytime today should be fine.. great thanks, see you then."
MJ had just hung up when she heard someone come through the window in the bedroom. She turned around and saw Peter in his new and Improved Advanced suit. After his fight with Harry, he and MJ made him a better-advanced suit with better armor and flexibility. The suit no longer had an orange-red color but a much darker red that stood out against the blue perfectly.
"Hey MJ, where is Felicia?" Peter asked as he removed his mask.
"She's in the shower, those lawyers are coming by later. She wanted you here for the will reading. " MJ said and gave him a hug.
"Well Miles and I rounded up as much of those prisoners as we could so I should hopefully be free for the rest of the day. "
"I thought I heard my fiancé's voice," Said Felicia as she opened the door, her hair was still soaked and she was wearing nothing but a towel. Peter's jaw dropped open at the sight causing Felicia to snort before kissing him on the lips. "I missed you this morning"
"I know I'm sorry, I had to.." Felicia kissed him again. "It's alright MJ filled me in." They both turned to a smirking MJ who was watching them, causing Peter to hide his face against Felicia's neck.
"You best get dressed, those lawyers will be here soon." Said MJ who left the room.
10 minutes later Felicia came out of the room with Peter, both now in comfortable but casual clothing. They sat down on the couch and were about to turn the news on when they heard a knock at the door.
"That was fast," Peter said as he stood up and walked to the door. He opened it to reveal a woman and two men.
"Nelson and Murdock at your service, my name is Franklin Nelson but please call me Foggy, my partner here is Matt Murdock. We are joined by our lovely assistant Karen Page. "
"nice to meet you guys, thank you for coming. " Peter said as he shook Foggy's hand and then Karen's. He turned to Matt who looked like he was observing Peter closely although Peter didn't know how considering he was blind. Matt smiled after a moment and offered his hand, Peter took it and both of them had a very firm handshake.
"Well please come in, I am Peter Parker, by the way, you are representing my fiancé Felicia Hardy. "
"Oh congratulations, when did you propose?" Asked Karen with a smile.
"Yesterday" Peter replied with a smile
"That is awesome man, congrats. " Said Foggy
"Yes Congratulations Mr. Parker," Said Matt as he tapped his stick ahead of him, although he was really listening to everyone's heartbeat.
"Thank you, guys. "
"Felica, MJ let me introduce Nelson and Murdock," Said Peter as they all entered the living room.
Well guys I hope you all enjoyed that return chapter! I have huge plans for our heroes for the last act of this story and the wedding is the biggest one, however, the new characters introduced here are not a one and done, I plan to use them in Marvel's Spider-Man 4!
