Found this in my docs and thought I'd post it. They're really my faves, guys. It's crazy.

Jane smiled when she saw him, standing outside the classroom just to walk her to her next class. He had to have left early to make it to her in time, and she loves him.

Jane froze in the middle of the classroom as the thought hit her. Love? That's the big one. Did she mean it?

She looked up at him and watched his dopey smile fade into a look of concern.

Yeah, she loves Carlos de Vil.

She smiled wide and he couldn't help but mirror it as she took the last few strides to meet him.

"Hey," he greeted, pulling her out of the way of the students rushing to get to their next class. "I was thi-"

She kissed him, quick and fast and exhilarating. She had to bounce on her toes to reach and she might have missed by a little bit, but the look on his face said Message Delivered.

Carlos blinked once, twice before he pulled her back to him, settling his lips squarely over hers and making her see stars. 'Make a wish,' she thought out of habit, but all of her wishes had just come true.

He held her tightly, leaning back against the lockers and letting the flow of students press her into him. No one had noticed, and if they had, they weren't saying anything.

Her hands were clutching her books to her chest, but she wanted to tangle them in his hair. His lips were warm and soft, everything she'd dreamt they'd be. Much better than her messy fumble with Chad in seventh grade or her clammy press with Aziz during freshman year.

When Carlos pulled back, he was panting and his eyes were wide. His cheeks were red. Jane would have teased him if she didn't feel hers burning too. His eyes flicked down to her lips and she realized that she had subconsciously licked them. When he looked back up into her eyes, he looked like he was ready to sell his soul for another kiss. Or maybe that was just a reflection of her.

Yeah, Jane loves him, she opened her mouth to say as much, but he cut her off.

"That was my first kiss."

Okay, not what she was expecting.
