"Huh I didn't know it was a sleepover, otherwise I would have brought my sleeping bag,"
Natsu walked into the guild, letting the door close behind him, walking towards the bar hands in pockets, he looked at Mystogan before looking over at Makarov, "Woah their gramps, you're looking real sleepy," he said walking towards the bar, as he did so he pulled his right hand out of his pocket and placed it on the handle of his katana, "There's no need for violence," Mystogan said from next to the request board, as he said so plucking off 3 requests.
"Hmm, violence I don't know what you mean," Natsu said as he jumped over the bar, picking out a bottle of alcohol, "You know you still have to pay for that Natsu," Makarov said sleepily, Natsu smiled at him as he took a swig from the bottle, Makarov blinked and Natsu was gone, all of a sudden Mystogan felt a pressure on the left of his neck, also hearing the sound of liquid sloshing around in a glass bottle, turning his head to the left he saw Natsu stood his face stone cold, his blade out of its sheath and up against his neck, 'Fast' Mystogan thought, he slowly raised his hands as a sign of defence, "I'm a member of the guild, no need to worry," He said slowly, "Oh really now, so why put everyone to sleep?" Natsu said as he added more pressure to the blade, "NATSU," Makarov shouted, Natsu looked over to him, Makarov tiredly gestured for him to lower the blade "It's fine Mystogan does this every time he comes to get a request," Makarov said through heavy breaths as he kept trying to keep his eyelids open.
"Hmm, really," he said removing the blade from the man's neck, swinging it swiftly back into its sheath, looking at the man again he sighed before walking over to where Lucy was sitting, "Seems like a lotta effort to hide something," he said as he sat down next to the girl, looking at the girl who had her head lay against the table, he picked her head up and slid her hand under where she had been laid, letting her head fall once again back onto her arm.
"I'm not hiding anyt-," he was interrupted by Natsu, "Bullshit," he said throwing hands behind his head and slouching into the back of the bench, Mystogan sighed walking over to the bar and looking down at Makarov "I'll be back," he said walking towards the door, "Wait, at least undo your spell," Makarov said, his will to stay awake disappearing, "5" "4" "3" "2," he said as opened the door, letting them shut behind him "1"
All of a sudden everyone woke up like they hadn't been asleep at all, everyone except for Gray who was out cold (…that was as bad as Gray's pun last chapter) "This feeling…Mystogan!?" Jet said rubbing his face, he was sitting with Droy, Levy and Macao on the table behind Lucy and Elfman, "That bastard," Droy said rubbing his eye, "His sleep magic is as powerful as ever…" Levy said tiredly, Lucy yawned stretching her arm's "Mystogan?" Lucy asked Elfman from across the table, "He's in running for fairy tails strongest mage," Elfman said also yawning, "Didn't seem like all that to me," Natsu said from Lucy's left, "Yeah but nothing seems special to you Natsu…" "NATSU!?" Lucy shouted after a few seconds, "Yo," he said throwing his hand up slightly, "When did you get here?" Elfman asked, "While you muppets were all asleep," he said taking out the bottle he had taken from behind the bar, Lucy looked down at the table, deep in thought, "Why did he put us all to sleep?".
Gray who had woken up a few seconds ago from his nap, walked back over to their table, taking a seat next to Elfman, he spoke "Mystogan puts everyone to sleep when he comes in for a request, so no one except for master knows what he looks like," he said rubbing his stomach where he's been hit.
"No, I do," said a voice from the top floor, the group looked up to see Laxus smiling down at the guild hall
"Laxus!" someone shouted, "You're here, that's rare," someone else said, Gray popped his chin up by his hand as he looked at Lucy who was looking up at him, "Another candidate for the strongest member," Lucy's eyes widened after she heard that 'Woah there's a lotta powerful people here today'
"Mystogans a little shy, so don't get nosy," he said with his chin propped up by his hand, his arm resting on the railing of the top floor, he sighed and spoke again, "I'm not the only one who's seen him, the old man has too…and so has that pink haired newbie," He said putting both arms onto the railing as he looked down, "Even put a sword to the man's throat," he said cackling
Everyone around the guild hall looked at Natsu who was sat down drinking a bottle of whiskey, "Huh when did you get here Natsu," asked Levy from within the crowd, "As I said to my table, while you guys were asleep," he said shrugging his shoulders, before taking another swig "Ohh that's the stuff,"
"What did he mean by a sword to his throat?" Droy asked from behind Levy, "Huh, well I walked into the guild hall and you guys were all asleep, and some creepy guy in a cloak was stood over you all, looked mighty suspicious to me," he said standing up and walking over to the bar, he looked at Mira and put the bottle down, "And you'll probably want that back," Mira looked at the bottle, she then looked at where the bottle should have been to see it's place on the shelf empty, she looked at Natsu shocked "Did you steal a bottle of whiskey while we were all asleep!?" she said as Natsu walked back over to the very shocked Gray, Elfman and Lucy, "huh no, what are you on about," he said smiling back at her, "I'll put it on your tab then," she said putting it back in its place and mumbling stuff about no good thief's, "So you're telling me you walked into the guild hall. Saw a masked guy stood over our sleeping bodies and thought 'I could use some booze right now'" Cana said from next to the bar "Man you're awesome," She said pumping her fist in the air,
"Man you guys are pathetic," Laxus said from up in his perch, Gray sick of being degraded stood on his table "Hey Laxus, why don't you come down here and show you how pathetic we really are," he said seething, "Hey Gray take it easy, Erza just gave you a beat down," Elfman said deadpanning, Laxus looked down at Gray and started laughing, "You don't stand a chance against me if you can't even beat the mere Erza," he said chuckling
Erza looked up at Laxus, a tick mark appearing on her forehead "What does that mean!?" she shouted up at him, "Hey Erza take it easy," Lucy said from next to her.
"I mean…That I'M the STRONGEST!" he said throwing his arms upwards, "Oh yeah why don't you get down here and find out!" Gray said tired of the narcissism flowing off of him, "Why don't you come up here?" Gray ran from his table to the staircase before being slammed into by Makarov's outstretched fist, "You're not allowed on the second floor, not yet" Laxus laughed as he watched Gray struggle under Makarov's fist "You made him mad," he chuckled out, "Laxus, Enough!" Makarov boomed, "I won't let anyone take away fairy tails strongest, not Erza, not Mystogan, not even you newbi-" he said looking down to try to find where the pink hair guy had gone, to only see him have disappeared
"Huh, he was down there just a second ag-," just then Laxus felt his magic earphones being removed, he turned around to see the man he was looking for crouched down on the second-floor table messing around with his headphones, "Huh, I've never seen a pair that work like this, how do they…oh that's ho-" he quickly blocked a right hook from Laxus, who had thrown one upon seeing him, keeping his hand in a tight grip he pulled Laxus closer, "Bit pre-emptive don't you think," he let go of his fist and jumped down from the second floor, "NATSU, YOUR NOT TO GO TO THE SECOND FLOOR!" Makarov shouted at him, Natsu looked at the old man "Ahh sorry Gramp's, I just really hate pricks like that," he said heading over to Lucy, that's when he felt the electricity in the air, "Oi-Oi-Oi, who you calling a prick," Laxus shouted, lighting dancing around his body, Natsu turned and stared Laxus dead in the eye, before chuckling slightly, "Why don't you come down here and find out," he said crossing his arms, "Why you," "THAT'S ENOUGH!" Makarov said through his titan's voice, Laxus 'tched' before heading back deeper into the second floor,", "No more fighting today!" Makarov announced picking up his mug and heading to his office.
"Woah Natsu how did you get up there," Lucy asked as Natsu sat down next to her, Levy and her crew crowding around the table "Yeah I didn't even see you go up there," Gray added, Natsu shrugged before pulling out a bottle of alcohol, he placed the bottle on the table and raised his hand to his nose, tapping it three times "A magician never reveals his secrets," a loud audible groan was heard from around, Lucy giggled "That was so cheesy Natsu," she said before standing up and walking to the bar, Natsu watched as she walked towards the bar taking a swig as he did "Cheesy huh,"

Lucy sat across the bar from Mira, it had been a few hours since the incident and it was getting late, "Why can't we go up to the second floor?" she asked Mira as she played with the straw in her drink, Mira looked up from where she had been cleaning the bar and looked up at her and smiled "It's a tad soon for you, but the request board on the second floor has jobs that's are far more difficult than ones on the first floor," she said looking up at said floor, "S-class quest's," she said fondly "S-class!" Lucy asked surprised at the new rank, "There dangerous quests which could mean one lapse in judgement could lead to death," she said picking her rag back up and continuing to scrub "but the rewards are a lot higher,"
"Wow…" Mira giggled at Lucy's reaction before speaking again, "There's only 5 wizards that are S-class, Mystogan, Erza, Laxus and Gildarts," she said to Lucy, Lucy was about to speak when Natsu came out of nowhere, "That's only 4…so who's the 5th," he asked sitting down on the chair next to Lucy, Mira looked at Natsu and Lucy before sighing, "That would be me," she said slowly, "Woah Mira your S-class wow," Lucy said amazed, 'so why doesn't she go on mission's "Hey Mira of your S-class do you go on any?" Lucy asked innocently, all of sudden Lucy could see Mira's face change she went from nervous to sad very quickly, as she was about to ask what happened Natsu spoke up "Hey Lucy, c'mon we better head back home, it's getting late," he said paying for Lucy's drink, Lucy looked at Natsu nodding and getting up, "Goodnight Mira," she said waving at her as she left with Natsu.
"Goodnight Lucy, Natsu," she said as she finished up her cleaning, 'I'll tell you one day I promise'

Getting to their apartments, Lucy put her key in the door, unlocking and opening it before turning round to Natsu, "I'll see you tomorrow Natsu," she said as she beamed a smile at him, he looked at her before letting his head fall to the side slightly, "Yeah goodnight, Lucy," he said waving as he closed his door.
As she got into her apartment, she was of course greeted with the site of a half-naked Gray sitting in her chair, she stood there for a few seconds as she dropped her bag to the side of her
"Yo, Lucy," he said smiling…" WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY APARTMENT!" she screamed at him, Gray quickly threw his arms up in mock defence, "Woah quiet you might wake up the whole city," he said shushing her, "Don't shush me in my own apartment," she whisper shouted at him, she sighed before sitting down on her bed and crossing her arms and legs, "what do you want," she asked, she was tired and wanted to sleep and now she had to do an interrogation. Perfect.
Gray fuddled around with his pockets before pulling out a request, a request that had the word's S-class written in big and bold letters "Wanna go on an S-class quest with me," he asked beaming her a smile

"Are you batshit insane!?" she shouted at him, "Hey, the rewards are 7 million jewels and a celestial key!" he said making a counterpoint, Lucy's eyes bulged at the price, the celestial key topping it all off, "Where do I sign up?"
