"Yeah it was," he said, wiping his tears away and breathing in slowly, "How?" he asked after a few seconds, looking down at the ground, his bangs covering his eyes "How do you look the same you did all those year's ago, nothing adds up about you, you can use multiple magic's, in fact, how did you even get on the island no one was coming here so how did you even get on the island...who are you?" Gray shouted at him, he was angry, upset and confused.
Finally looking up at him, Gray stared at Natsu who hadn't walked from his spot, "Why didn't you turn up earlier!?" Gray screamed at him as he walked towards him, placing his hands on Natsu's chest and trying to push him over, but Natsu wouldn't budge.
Gray gave up on pushing and began banging his fists into Natsu's chest, over and over the blows slowly started to become less than tickles to Natsu, not that they were anything to start with, Gray's leg's gave out as he stopped banging on Natsu's chest, his hands sliding down to the ground propping himself up as he kneeled on the ground.
Gray stared at the floor before clutching at the stone's underneath his open palm, "Why didn't you save her?" his voice came out barely as a whisper, but Natsu had heard him, Natsu crouched down slowly, placing his hand on Gray's shoulder, Gray looked up at him only to be pulled into a hug, Gray went limp as he was pulled in.
"I'm sorry," Natsu said softly, "I really am sorry I didn't turn up sooner," Letting go of Gray they both stood up with Gray wiping his face once more and looked up at Natsu, "I don't know why you turning up would've changed anything anyway," Gray said looking up at the demon, "I had no reason to get angry, even if you were there, she still would've used the spell, after all, it is the demon of destruction," he said turning away from Natsu and the demon and walked towards Lucy and Happy, "Gray..." Lucy said, looking at him as he walked towards them, he flashed the two a weak smile, "Don't worry, I'm all good now, again sorry for getting angry at you Natsu," he said, looking at Natsu who was approaching them as well.
Natsu sighed before smiling sadly at Gray and nodding "No worries," he said, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder before letting his hand fall to the side, "I mean at least we found out what spell the moon drip is being used for," Natsu said once again looking up at the iceberg, Gray went wide-eyed realising what he meant, "You can't mean?" Gray said slowly, Lucy looked confused for a few seconds before remembering what Natsu had mentioned the previous night, "There going to melt through the ice with the Moon drip!" Lucy said to which Natsu nodded, turning around and looking at the two, he noticed Gray had gone tense after realizing, "Gray, there's nothing we can do now, so get whatever idiotic idea you're thinking up out your head," he said snapping Gray out of his head, "Wha-how?" Gray said slightly taken aback at how easily he was read.
Suddenly Natsu stopped still, he sniffed the air quietly before going wide-eyed, "Get behind those rocks now!" he whisper shouted at them, not looking to argue at his tone change they all quickly hid behind the rocks, "What ar-humph," Lucy began asking only to have Natsu put his hand over her mouth as she began talking, he put his finger to his lips telling her to shush, "There are people here," he whispered to the group.
As he said that two figures emerged from the darkness of the cavern, one a small man with a mop of blue hair, he strode confidently with his hands behind his back, the other a tall humanoid man with long hair and dog ears, "Its daytime, I'm sleepy," the blue-haired one spoke "Toby, have you been soaking in the moon drip, you have ears and stuff," the blue one said over to Toby.
A tick mark appeared on Toby as he screeched at the blue-haired one "NO! These are decorations, get it through your head!" the blue one laughed as he spoke "I'm teasing you, idiot," he said his hands still placed behind his back "Your mean!" Toby replied back.
"Well if we needed any more confirmation about it being moon drip at least we have it now," Natsu whispered poking his head out slightly, all of a sudden another pair of footsteps could be heard from where the two had come from, a girl with pink hair in twin tails walked towards the duo, "Yuka, Toby I have bad news," the girls said, her hands held together against her chest.
The now named Yuka spoke, "Sherry," he said facing sideways looking at her, Toby waved as she approached, "Someone beat up Angelica," she said sadly her eyes downcast as she spoke, "It's just a dumb rat! Don't give it a deluxe name!" Sherry looked up at Toby "She is not a rat!" she shouted at him before sighing "Angelica is a hunter that races through the darkness...and...Love,"
"Talk about a serious weirdo, especially with what she's just said," Lucy whispered bug-eyed, "There not from this island, there clothes are different as well as their accents," Natsu explained as he watched the trio.
"Intruders, huh," Yuka said slowly, "Well there goes our cover," Gray whispered to Natsu, to which he nodded, "Just when the moon's light was nearly gathered too. How sad," Sherry said looking over the iceberg, "Let us get rid of these intruders before the cold emperor hears of this," she said to the other two Toby and Yuka nodded their heads as they walked towards an exit "Let's dispose of them before sundown," Yuka affirmed, with the three in agreement they opened a hidden cavern door opening up a staircase.
As they disappeared the group came out from where they were hiding, Natsu sighed and walked towards the edge of the cliff, "So we know who's running this whole thing now at least, not the best villain name I've heard, but not the worst either," Natsu said as he turned around and faced the group.
" The moon drip can only be active once the moon is out, we have about five hours till it comes out so...get comfy," he ordered, plopping himself down against a rock, Gray nodded slowly and sat down, he was a bit further away from the group sat closer to the demon, Lucy sat down next to Natsu who was fiddling with his bag, Lucy watched as he pulled out a bottle of whiskey and deadpanned, she sighed and pulled out a key, that of the harp constellation, Lira.
"Hi Lyra," Lucy said waving at the spirit, "sheesh, you hardly ever call me," the spirit said pouting, "I want to help you lots more! You're such a meanie," Lira said, placing a hand on her cheek, "Great another weirdo," Happy said dead-panning from next to Natsu, "Sorry to tell you buddy, but I don't think there's a single normal spirit out there," Natsu stated as he took a swig out of his bottle.
"So what should I sing today?" Lyra asked, "Anything you want, we're trying to get some sleep so your choice really," Lucy said as she herself sat down up against a rock, "Okay! Then ill just sing whatever! Yay!"
As she began singing, Gray, Lucy and Happy, all slowly drifted to sleep, a lone tear slipping from Gray's eye as he reminisced about his lost teacher, but he too finally fell asleep, after a few more minutes of singing Lyra stopped singing and sighed, "That was quick," she said as her harp vanished back to the spirit realm.
She turned around facing away from the group ready to vanish herself when she heard a blanket being pulled out. She swiftly turned around and saw Natsu placing a blanket over her summoner, "Oh I'm sorry, I thought everyone was asleep, I'll continue playing," she said ready to summon her harp back, "Nah I'm alright, I won't be sleeping anyway," he said shaking his head as he stood up to full height, the bottle sloshing in his hand as he put his hand out for her to shake, "Name's Natsu," he said as she took his hand and shook it "I'm-," "Lyra the Harp constellation, I was there when she summoned you," he said as he let his hand fall to the side, then placing them in his pockets.
She chuckled and shook her head, "Well if that is all I must be going," she said once again ready to head off, "Ah, could I just ask you a few questions before you go back to the spirit realm Lyra?" he asked running his hand through his hair, "Of course, any friend of Lucy is a friend of mine," She said flashing him a happy smile, "Good, good," he said smiling when all of a sudden the aura around him changed, his happy attitude all but disappearing.
"Could you please enlighten me as to why the leader of the zodiacs is currently withering away in our realm?" he asked crossing his arms, Lyra paled at the topic being brought up, "Ah-wh-I'm sorry how do you know this?" she asked taken aback, "Answer the question," he replied back, his aura was becoming suffocating "Ah we-well you see were forbidden by the celestial spirit king to speak on the matter," she said fiddling with her finger's.
Natsu sighed and rubbed the back of his head, the suffocating aura dissipating, "Of course eyebrows is behind this," he said rubbing his temple, he looked back at Lyra who was staring wide-eyed at him, he sheepishly smiled and walked off, "You can go back now," he said waving his hand as he walked towards Lucy, "H-hai," and so she vanished back to the spirit realm.
Natsu sighed and slumped back up against the rock he was sitting at, he took a swig from his drink and after placed it back in his bag and sent the bag to his requip realm.
He then sat with his hand placed on the hilt of his sword and waited for the time to wake everyone up.

5 hours later
Lucy woke up to Natsu lightly shaking her, "C'mon wakey wakey," as she opened her eye she saw Gray and Happy talking further away from where she was sitting, Natsu seeing her awake stood up and extended his hand out, "C'mon its dark out were gonna start looking," he said as she accepted his hand, pulling her to her feet Natsu looked around when suddenly a magic circle appeared from above the iceberg coating the entire cave in a purple hue, "Is that the moon drip?" Gray asked Natsu, who looked at the circle and nodded, "Been a while since I've seen one," he said turning around, "Let's head up to the top of the temple that's where the ceremony will be being held," he said walking towards the set of stairs that led out of the cave

As they reached the top of the temple, they came up a set of stairs, looking at the centre of the temple they saw a group of what looked to be cultists standing in a circle, a ray of focused moon energy in the middle, they moved behind a wall close to where it was taking place, Natsu looked over to see the trio they had seen earlier that day, plus someone else, dressed in armour with a helmet with horns on stood who Natsu assumed was the leader, The cold emperor.
"He doesn't look very cold to me," Happy said from Natsu's shoulder, Natsu looked at him sighing before patting him on the head, he looked back over at the group when Yuka spoke up, "Damn I'm tired. I've been awake all day," he said as Toby drifted of over his shoulder, "We didn't even find any intruder's," Toby woke up as he screamed into Yuka's ear "Were there even any!?"
They arrived at the circle as Sherry spoke from next to the cold emperor, "It's sad, cold emperor, it seemed like there had been intruders earlier during the day but they have seemed to have escaped," Sherry said twiddling with her hands.
"Intruders?" The cold emperor spoke for the first time, Gray went wide-eyed as he heard the voice, "He even made them call him cold emperor jeez some villain this guy. He must think he's so high and mighty, especially with that mask an all," Lucy said rubbing her forehead.
"With Deliora's revival still not complete this could become a problem," he spoke again still facing the ritual, "Yes, but it does look like it will be either tomorrow or tonight, It's finally happening and we won't let those intruders ruin it," Sherry said to him.
"Hmm, the intruders...I've come too far not to be stopped or interfered with," he said, crossing his arms over his chest, his armour clunking as he did, "Yes, the only people on the island apart from us are the villagers after all," Sherry answered, "Hmm, the village... I have waited long enough, I want there to be no interruptions...eradicate the village," barking his order at them, the trio all nodded their heads.
"The villagers but they've done nothing!" Lucy whisper shouted to Natsu, "We've got to stop them Natsu," she pleaded with him, Natsu nodded as he gritted his teeth "Yeah I think it's time we said hi," as he was about to stand up Gray shakily took a breath and spoke, "That voice, It... can't be," Natsu placed a hand on his hilt and looked over at Gray, "What's up?" he asked crouching in front of him.
"That day, after Ur defeated Delirora, there were two kids weren't there? One with silver hair? Right," Gray asked Natsu, to which Natsu nodded, "The cold emperor...I'm sure of it...that voice is Lyon's Ur's other student!" Gray said with wide eyes as he looked at Natsu.
Natsu's eyes widened slightly as he heard this, Gray slowly stood up and jumped over the wall his footsteps being heard by the Lyon's group, Natsu sighed standing up himself, "Well there goes the element of surprise," he said as he himself jumped over the wall, Lucy placed a hand on the wall, Sherry's keen eye not missing the fairy tail emblem "It seems we've found our intruders, and they also seem to be fairy tail mages," she said, "So the village hired them as help," Yuka said as the trio got into battle positions, "What are you three doing?" Lyon questioned the three, they looked at him confused, prompting him to speak again.
"Go and eradicate the village. We can't let people who have now interfered with us continue to live. They are now the enemy" He said clenching his fist, "You bastard!" came the shout from Gray, As Lyon finally looked at him, he seemed taken aback for a moment before becoming recomposed, Gray ran at full pace towards the group jumping high into the air activating his magic before slamming back down creating a wave of ice spikes erupting from the ground towards Lyon and his group.
Said group all moved out of the way, Lyon activating his magic, but only using one hand, different to Gray who always used two, he two slammed his hand down. Out came a similar wave of ice instead Lyon's was more turquoise in colour than Grays's pure-coloured ice, they both collided and were at a standstill till they eventually cut each other out, creating a shock wave from the collision.
"He uses ice too!" Happy shouted, not hearing Gray and Natsu's conversation before, Gray stood up from where he had placed his hand earlier, Veins bulging from his forehead "Lyon!" he said through gritted teeth, his anger palpable, Lucy and Happy were shocked at the fact Gray knew who this cold emperor was, Natsu stood behind Gray his hand resting on his hilt with his mouth in a flat line.
"Damn you...do you even realise what your doing!?" he asked Lyon, who himself looked very relaxed, while Gray looked ready to attack again at any moment. Lyon chuckled as he looked at Gray, "It's been a while...Gray," he said almost mockingly.
"What is the meaning of this!?" Gray shouted at him, "To think that you were one of the wizards that the villagers called upon...did you come here knowing I was here...or is it sheer coincidence?" he smirked as he looked at the sherry and the other's behind him "Not that it matter's," he said once again looking back at Gray "An acquaintance of yours cold emperor?" Yuka asked "Get going I'll handle these four myself!" he ordered.
"Yes sir," as they all ran off down the temple, Natsu sighed before he looked over at Lucy "Lucy, Happy, C'mon we can leave Gray to deal with this, their old study buddies anyway," he shouted over at the two who were still confused as to how Gray knew who the cold emperor really was, "Natsu don't turn your back!" Gray shouted at him.
"Study buddies...well, I wouldn't call us that," As Lyon spoke he cast a wave of ice over in Natsu's direction "Natsu!" Lucy shouted over trying to warn him. the shout caught Lyon's attention, he raised his other arm and aimed at Lucy, "I think I'll get rid of your friends first," he said as he sent an even more powerful wave of ice at Lucy, "Lucy!" Gray shouted but it was too late. she was too busy running toward Natsu even to notice the Ice wave coming towards her.
Natsu simply raised his hand and a magic circle appeared casting a flash of flames to counter Lyons's attack on him, he then raised his other hand casting another flash of flames destroying the ice aimed at Lucy easily, "Hmm a fire wizard, how troublesome," Lyon said putting his arm back down, Natsu turned around facing Lyon, placing his hand on his hilt and unsheathing the sword a shock wave of wind coming from just unsheathing the blade, Lyons coat was blown back as Natsu raised the sword and looked him dead in the eye, the sword glistening with a purple hue from the moon.
"Oi," he said flatly, "Your opponents Gray, not the girl," Lyon wouldn't tell anyone but the way he said that had him sweating slightly, "Try to attack the girl again and I'll make sure you don't have hands to cast magic with...or arms at all in fact," as he said that he put the blade down again and swiftly placed it back into its sheath, "Got it?" he asked flatly.
"Ye-yes..." Lyon seemed to go quiet for a few seconds before he realised what he had said. he immediately pointed his hand at Natsu and began shouting "I-I mean how dare you defy my wrath...I will allow you to try to stop my mages from destroying the village, now go before I change my m-," he stopped when he saw the look in Natsu's eye's again he shuddered and looked at Gray once again.
Natsu walked over to Lucy and looked at Happy, "Happy take Lucy back to the village I'll meet you when you get there," "Natsu how are you going to get there?" Happy asked as he picked up Lucy by the shirt, "I'm pretty fast," he answered choosing not to elaborate anymore, he then looked at Happy once again, "Race you there?" He asked to which Happy nodded confused, "Okay see you there then," and just like that Natsu vanished from view in an instant.
"Wha-what is that guy?" Lyon asked, looking at where Natsu just was, Gray looked at Lyon still beyond pissed"That guy was there when Ur defeated Delirora, he was the one who took us to the camp after we had collapsed," Gray explained still gritting his teeth, "So he was there on that faithful day, where you killed are teacher huh...but he doesn't look that old, how is that possible?" He asked looking at Gray, Gray put that at the back of his mind and disregarded that amazing point for later, "I'm not here to discuss Natsu, I'm here to deal with you, so let's go!" activating his magic he rushed at Lyon.

A few minutes later Lucy and Happy arrived at the village, to see Natsu with the gathered villagers in the middle of town, "Natsu?!" Lucy shouted running up to him, "How did you get here so fast?" she asked as Natsu crossed his arm's over his chest, he gingerly rubbed the back of his neck before pulling out what looked to be a throwing knife out of his pocket, and threw it into a tree behind Lucy, the tree almost fell over and Natsu hissed through his teeth, "put a bit to much power into that," he said chuckling "Anyway so well I can use short range telepo-""tation it works by me teleporting to any object that has left my hand recently, or I can target an object and use it to teleport long distances, but I can only do it with me, no one else," came his voice which moved position as he teleported to where his knife was in the tree, pulling it out he put his back into his re-quip space, "W-w...that really overpowered Natsu," Lucy deadpanned at him, Natsu chuckled "It uses a version of spacial magic, took me a few years to get, but I got it eventually," he said once again rubbing his neck.
He then turned to the villages, "Hey, thank you for gathering here on short notice bu-," "Have you destroyed the moon yet?" Natsu was interrupted by Boba's question, "N-no I haven't yet, getting round to it though, promise," he said flashing him a thumbs up, "Anyway, people have been staying at your temple, and they've decided that you guys need to go," he said pointing at the temple on top of the island, the townspeople looked at where he was pointing confused, "Err Natsu sir, there is no temple there," one of the girls in the village spoke out.
"Huh," Natsu asked turning his head around, he could see it perfectly fine, his eyes widened slightly as he realised why that was, "Of course how could I have been so stupid!" he said putting his hand on his forehead, "What is it Natsu?" Lucy asked, Natsu shook his head and laughed, "That's fine don't worry about that for now, all you need to know is people from the temple are coming here to destroy the village so we need to prepare we don't have long," as he said that the village erupted into a chorus of worrying cries, "I can promise you nothing bad will happen to the town," Natsu said calming the crowd down, just then Natsu seemingly looked off towards the temple, "Gray," as he said that he disappeared, "Huh where'd he go," Lucy asked.

Gray was lay beaten, a beat down from a person who couldn't even use ice make magic properly, he lay flat against the cold stone floor, as he started to black out he began to hear footsteps, "Oi Gray," as he opened his eyes he wasn't laying against the cold stone floor, but the cold snowy ground of where he used to live with Ur, "What's the matter giving up that easily?" his mentor's voice taunted him.
"Get up Gray...Get...up," all of a sudden he opened his eyes again and was back lying against the stone floor again, but Ur wasn't standing over him this time, but Natsu, "Your gonna make me carry you aren't you?" Natsu asked crossing his arms over his chest, "No-no I can walk" Gray said as he began to stand up, "Where's Lyon and the cultists?" Gray asked Natsu "Dunno all gone when I got back to pick you up," Natsu said as Gray's knees wobbled, not being able to support him they gave out, only to be caught by Natsu.
Natsu picked him up and threw him over his shoulder, "C'mon let's get back to the village," Natsu began walking down the hill his speed picking up slightly as he jogged through the jungle, "Hey Natsu, did you know Ur?" Gray asked out of the blue, "...Yeah I met her a couple of times. She was a damn powerful wizard, nasty temper too," he said chuckling, "...I got her killed that day," Gray came out with, "I was the one who went after Delirora that day, I got her killed...it was all my fault," He choked out.
Natsu was quiet for a few seconds before he spoke up, "Did you tell her to use that spell?" he asked, Gray went silent before speaking "No," he said quietly, "Ur cared for you Gray, she cared for you enough to exchange her life so you could live without being in constant fear of that demon, she wanted you to live so she did what any good mother would she put your life first. She loved you Gray, and from what it sounds like, she loved you as much as she would any of her children," Natsu finished, "So stop living with the guilt and move on, you didn't kill her...she saved you," With that Natsu finished talking and kept his heading towards the village.
"Thanks, Natsu," Gray said as he passed out from the damage, "Anytime kid," With that Natsu sick of this taking too long, sped up so he would arrive at the village quicker.

Arriving 5 minutes later he walked into the village, stepping over a horrible trap, he looked at the assembled group and looked at the trap back at the group then back at the trap, then at Lucy, "You're getting training when we get back," he said to Lucy, "It wasn't that bad," Lucy whined "Yes, yes it was," was the only reply from Natsu, he placed Gray down and froze, "THERE HERE," he shouted, as he looked up he saw what looked to be a...flying rat...what, Natsu had never seen anything like this and that was rare, it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but the haystack doesn't have a needle.

Ah, well I'm back, took me a minute but had results and Uni stuff to deal with, so apologies.
I basically gave Natsu the Flying thunder god Jutsu from Naruto. I mean not even basically it just is, but it's like really cool so it's fine.
