Hey guys, tis your Nutty Buddy, finally back in action! It's been crazy, but I managed to scrape by this wild semester. Got a B in Calculus III, which I'm real proud of. I know It's been a month and a half, but let's just say the Master unleashed some chaos into my life (pun totally intended). Thank you all for being patient with me. And now:

Chapter 12: Future and Past Collide!
"Akiza, I'm scared!" Leo said simply once the Master's insane laughter had quieted down. He held onto Akiza's side, illuminated by her Signer mark that provided a meager light in the darkness. She merely held him back, soothing him in that big sisterly kind of way that needed no words
"Anybody got a better light?" Yugi asked, trying to peer through the blackness that was their way forward.
"Left my spare light back on the Blackbird," Crow said, still holding the unconscious Dani, carrying her bridal style. Despite all the commotion with the previous room being destroyed, she remained out cold.
"Check Dani's bag," Akiza suggested, "She keeps all sorts of tools in there, she must have a light." Crow knelt down and hastily rummaged through Dani's bag, letting out an exclamation of triumph when he found what everyone was hoping for; a flashlight, and a pretty powerful one at that.
Yusei took the flashlight from Crow and shined its light down the corridor. "Alright, we better get moving. There's no telling what the Master has down here." He took two steps forward and stepped on a switch. There was a whoosh of air and it was sheer reflex that saved Yusei's life, as he leaned backwards just in time to avoid getting hit by an arrow that shot across the narrow hall, burying itself in the side.
"You mean stuff like that?" Crow asked dryly.
"Knock it off," Jack snapped, "This is no time for jokes. It seems that you take one little misstep and you're a goner."
"Quite right, Jackie!" The Master said, appearing on yet another video screen, lighting up the hallway. Jack cringed at the name, recalling his Shadow Duel with Carly. "And you've survived the first couple of tests. However, there are many more to come. Have a nice maze, toodles!" He gave a jaunty little salute and disappeared, allowing the suffocating darkness to close in again. His voice, however, remained. "Just remember, I'm always watching. Ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha haa haaaaa!"
"He sure does know how to leave an impression," Yugi commented.
"Speaking of impressions," Yusei said, recalling the recent Duel, "What was that all about with glowing eyes on yours and Dani's foreheads?"
"You have glowing red marks on your arms and you have the audacity to demand about a couple more glowing symbols on people?" Kaiba asked, shaking his head in disbelief.
Yugi intervened before Jack could snap off a retort. "It's alright Kaiba, they explained their glowing marks, it's only fair I explain what happened back there. Pharaoh?" The spirit of the Millennium Puzzle emerged and allowed himself to be seen by the others.
"Whoa, he looks just like you!" Akiza exclaimed, "Who is that?"
"I am the Pharaoh from ancient Egypt, over 5000 years ago," Yami began, "Allow me to explain our story."
Northern Satellite
Thomas Aka winced as he heard the explosions from both the end of Hueso's Duel with Dani and the explosion destroying the room they Dueled in coming from the speakers of Allana's Runner. He and his girlfriend Allana had been listening to the Duel together in silence. "And another one bites the dust."
"Thomas!" Allana admonished, "He's our comrade, don't be so callous."
"He may be our comrade, but that doesn't mean I have to like him," Thomas answered, "I hate that Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon of his. It's an insult to all things Red-Eyes!"
"I know," Allana said soothingly, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear. "It's a mockery of your favorite card. Still, if we're losing to even non-Signers, this can't be good for the Chaos Movement."
"No, sweetheart, it can't," Thomas agreed. "Which means, depending on the paths they take, it'll either be Melissa or Julius next to try and stop them."
"And the ninja will clean up," Allana pointed out, "And you're supposed to be her backup."
"Yes," The Master interrupted, having just gotten through scaring Yugi and company, "And I'm wondering why Kuno's backup is lounging about when he should be in position by now." His tone was no longer jovial as it had been when he was interacting with Yusei. It was a dangerous and deadly tone.
Thomas swore. "Sorry, Master."
"You're going to be more than sorry if you aren't there in the next ten minutes," The Master warned.
"Ten minutes!?" Allana shouted, "But the maze is nearly an hour away!"
"Then I suggest you get going!" The Master roared, "Or it's bye-bye Black Dragon!" Thomas gave Allana a swift kiss on the cheek and tore off, climbing on his beloved Runner and zooming off at a dangerously high speed toward his location. "As for you, Miss Hikari, return to HQ and we'll discuss your failure, as well as your next mission in this game."
"As you command," Allana said, climbing onto her Runner and heading out towards the B.A.D. area of Satellite.
Underground Maze
The group sat in silence, digesting what they had just learned from Yugi and the Pharaoh.
Crow finally broke the silence. "Well, we've got an ancient dragon helping us, what's so strange about Yugi having an ancient leader from Egypt helping him?"
"Well, when you put it like that," Yusei said with a grin, "Let's keep moving." Their little group began to make their way down the corridor, unsure of what lay ahead of them, but confident enough to get through it.
"So," Leo began conversationally with Yugi, "Who was actually Dueling when you won Battle City, you or the Pharaoh?"
Yugi chuckled and rubbed the back of his head nervously. "Well, to be perfectly honest with you, it was more of a team effort than anything else."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means that they worked together to win the tournament," Luna answered, "They couldn't have won it otherwise."
"Yeah!" Yugi said, "You took the words right out of my mouth."
"Hold up!" Kaiba announced, throwing an arm out to stop Yusei.
"What is it?" Yusei asked.
"Something's not right," Kaiba said, looking at the floor in front of them suspiciously.
"I don't see anything," Luna said quietly.
"No, Kaiba's right," Jack said, kneeling down to look closely, "See, the tiles here are colored differently. It's hard to notice, but it's there."
Kaiba knelt next to him and placed a hand on the floor in front of him. It gave away, as well as the next couple of feet of tiles. "A pitfall trap. How naïve can he get?"
"A deadly pitfall trap, by the look of it," Yusei commented, shining the light to reveal several spikes at the bottom of the trap. "Nice save guys. It's just a small jump across now." He jumped the gap easily, followed by Jack, Kaiba, and Yugi.
"A small jump for you guys," Crow commented, "Easier said than done when you're carrying someone."
"Get a running start," Jack suggested. Leo followed that advice and cleared the gap easily.
"Come on Crow!" Leo said teasingly, "Don't tell me you're scared!"
"I'm not worried about me, I'm worried about her," Crow answered.
Akiza brightened suddenly. "I've got an idea!" She activated her Duel Disk. "Hedge Guard, lay down and become a bridge!" A study group of thick vines appeared and easily crossed the distance across the deadly gap. Luna scampered across the 'bridge' and turned back.
"How in the world?!" Kaiba murmured, "They're supposed to be holograms!"
"Akiza's a psychic Duelist," Yusei explained as Crow slowly made his way across, "She brings cards to life when she Duels."
"Interesting," Kaiba said, gears turning in his mind. Akiza crossed last and allowed Hedge Guard to fade.
"Another trap thwarted," she commented, "what's next?"
"We either go left or right," Jack said, looking at the fork.
"The left one, duh!" Leo said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
"What makes you so certain about that?" Kaiba asked suspiciously.
"The heroes in all the movies choose the right path and it turns out to be a trap. So, we go the left path and avoid the trap. Simple!"
"If only that were so," The Master interrupted again.
"Can't you just go away?" Akiza groaned.
"Sorry, but I never miss a good party," The Master cackled, "My poor little boy, I'm not giving you much choice in the matter." A wall came crashing down, splitting the group into two.
"Akiza!" Yusei yelled, for it was he, Kaiba, Yugi, and Luna on one side and Crow, Dani, Akiza, Jack, and Leo on the other.
"Is everyone alright?" Yugi asked, coughing from the dust kicked up.
"We're fine," Jack called through the wall, "A little shaken, but nobody's hurt. Dani's still out cold."
"Luna!" Leo cried, "Are you okay!"
"Leo, I'm fine!" Luna answered. "Yusei, what'll we do?"
Yusei frowned. "We keep going, even if it's an obvious trap. Looks like Leo gets to take the right path after all."
"That's not fair!" Leo shouted.
"We'll see you on the other side," Akiza said to Yusei, "Come on guys."
"Right behind you," Crow said.
"Be careful!" Yusei called.
"We better get a move on too," Yugi said, "No telling what'll happen next."
"More tricks from the Master, most likely," Kaiba commented darkly, striding ahead.
Akiza's group
"Is it just me or is it getting more humid in here?" Jack asked, wiping some sweat off his brow.
"It ain't just you," Crow answered, "I'm sweating buckets."
Leo pointed excitedly. "I see a light ahead!" The group surged ahead and exited the light to find themselves in an exotic jungle.
"What in the world?" Crow gasped,
"Weren't we just underground?" Leo asked, perplexed.
Jack frowned as he examined a nearby tree. "It seems to be real. Unless the Master has invented teleportation, however, we're still in the Satellite."
"I think this is like the graveyard we just came from," Akiza mused, "Which means whoever's in this territory uses a jungle themed Deck."
"Yeah, well I want to get out of here," Leo complained, scratching his arm, "I just got bit by a mosquito. I can't remember the last time I was bit by one of those bloodsuckers!"
"Man, the Chaos Movement sure doesn't hold back when setting up a themed room," Crow commented, "I think I hear a stream nearby." Upon further scouting around, Crow did indeed find the stream.
"Well, that's a good sign," Akiza said, "It gives us a path to follow."
"I've got a better idea," Crow said, "I think it's time to wake up Sleeping Beauty here." He knelt next to the stream and placed Dani gently down, leaning her against a tree. He then scooped up a handful of water and gently began dripping it onto her forehead. After a few drips, the female Blue-Eyes Duelist began to stir.
"Ugh…" Dani groaned, slowly rising from unconsciousness. "What happened?"
"Rise and shine!" Crow chirped, "Time to get moving."
"Jeez, a jungle?" Dani asked, sitting up and taking in her new surroundings, puzzlement written all over her face. "I went from a graveyard to Tokyo to a jungle in the span of an hour?"
Leo once again was confused. "Tokyo?"
Akiza giggled. "Dani, you passed out after your Duel. We're still in the Satellite somehow and this is another one of the Master's crazy setups."
"What happened to that necromaniac?" Dani asked.
"Disappeared after you beat him," Crow answered, "Then the Master blew up the room and we're stuck in his maze."
"Doesn't seem very maze-y"
"If you guys are done getting reacquainted," Jack interrupted, "We should probably keep moving."
"And you are?" Dani asked, eyes narrowing as she eyed the newest addition to the group. Her silver markings only added to the intensity of the glare.
"Jack Atlas, and don't you forget it," the former Turbo King answered, returning the glare and began stalking along the path by the stream.
Dani sighed. "He's just like Kaiba."
Crow chuckled, "You should've seen the sparks flying between those two. I'm not sure what would've happened if the Master hadn't interrupted."
Dani grunted as she scrambled to her feet. "Well, I'm back in the fight at least. Now where are we going?"
"We're going after Jack," Leo said, "Come on guys!" He sprinted down the path after Jack, the other three not too far behind.
Yusei's group
Yusei looked around warily; shining the flashlight on every nook and cranny he could find to catch any more of the Master's traps. They had already found and disabled two more traps in the corridor, both of which would've been fatal if sprung.
"And I thought Goodwin was crazy," Yusei commented to himself.
"Goodwin?" Yugi asked, overhearing him.
Yusei frowned. "Another psycho villain we had to overcome recently. We thought he was on our side, only for him to stab us in the back when we needed answers."
"Yowch, that would be a problem," Yugi remarked.
"You know what they say," Kaiba interjected, "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."
"That all depends on whether or not you know who your enemies are," Yusei said philosophically.
"I make sure I know all my enemies," Kaiba shot back, striding ahead, "It's how you survive in the business world."
"Isn't he just a little ray of sunshine," Yusei commented.
"Kaiba may seem rude at times, but he's come through when he needed to," Yugi pointed out.
"Just like Jack," Luna noted, "Those two would make great rivals."
Yusei chuckled at the thought. "Or an even greater tag team. Both of them are ruthless and proud."
"There's no need to be talking hypotheticals," Kaiba interrupted, "Especially about me. Let's keep moving."
"And both of them are just as grumpy," Yusei whispered to Luna, prompting a small giggle from her.
Akiza's Group
Akiza looked around in awe at all the different plant life surrounding them. Being a plant type specialist, she could identify most of the plants used in this set-up. She couldn't believe the amount of rare plants the Master had used. "Where do you think they got the money to set this up?"
Crow shrugged. "They probably stole it, given what they've been like so far."
"Crazy big inheritance, accumulation of wealth over decades, who knows?" Dani said, "Maybe they simply got some other rich-boy on their side funding them."
"Jack's stopped up ahead," Crow said, pointing in front of them, "I think he's found something!" The trio rushed forward to find Jack and Leo at the edge of a clearing, looking at a woman seated on a tree stump, playing a flute. It was a simple, but enchanting melody. The woman herself was wearing a simple brown robe, yet it seemed so fluid and natural. She seemed one with the environment. The only thing missing, in Crow's mind, was a gathering of animals listening to the melody. The woman finished her song and turned around, noticing her audience. She was wearing glasses that seemed rather large on her smaller head, giving her a bug-eyed look.
"Welcome," said the young woman, "This is my little section of paradise." She slowly rose from her stump, robe parting partially to reveal a slender figure. "I have been waiting for some time, but I have all sorts of bug life to keep me company."
"You work for the Master then?" Jack asked, narrowing his purple eyes.
The woman nodded, then almost serenely, lifted her right sleeve to reveal a pine green Duel Disk. "My orders are to stop you here, particularly the Black Rose Witch."
Akiza started. "That's not fair! I left that title behind a long time ago."
"Fair or unfair, names have a horrible tendency to stick around long after the facts have proven otherwise," the woman said, "I still haven't been able to lose the name Four-Eyes or Bug Girl, going all the way back to elementary school, so I embraced my flaws and stand before you now."
"So what is your real name then?" Dani queried, "Cuz I don't think you want us calling you Bug Girl."
"Melissa," the woman answered, "Melissa Cocinella." A dangerous gleam appeared in her eye. "I am a master of the Insect arch-type and will use this Deck the Master gave me to put a stop to your foolish crusade against the Chaos Movement. Prepare yourself, Black Rose, for I will show no mercy, nor do I expect mercy in return!"
"You don't have an irrational fear of insects, do you?" Dani asked Akiza hesitantly.
Akiza smiled. "No, Dani, I don't."
"Then go smash some bugs!" Dani said, holding a thumbs up sign. Akiza returned the sign and faced Melissa, activated her Duel Disk in response.

Yusei's Group
The mark of the Crimson Dragon on both Yusei's and Luna's arms began glowing much more brightly than before, creating an eerie red glow wherever the flashlight wasn't shining.
"Looks like someone's about to Duel," Yusei commented, looking at his arm.
"You can tell that from your marks?" Yugi asked curiously.
Yusei nodded. "Our marks connect us; they share our pain and give us strength. It helps us work as a team, which is probably why the Master is so keen on splitting us up."
"I think it's Akiza who's Dueling!" Luna said, staring off into the darkness.
The Head Signer frowned and glanced in the direction where he felt Akiza was Dueling. "Be careful Akiza…"
Akiza's Group
The insect Duelist held out her arms, shedding the sleeves and revealing several identical Japanese symbols inscribed on her upper arms. They began glowing a pine green color and a ring of fire sprang up, encircling the group.
"Do they always have to do that?" Leo complained as the Japanese symbol for insect appeared in the sky.
"The Master likes dramatic scenes, I guess," Crow suggested.
"I'll go first," Akiza said, drawing a card.
"Be my guest," Melissa replied calmly, eyeing Akiza warily.
Akiza glared at Melissa suspiciously before looking at her hand. "I summon Dark Verger in Defense mode!" A black, two leaf clover with eyes on each of its leaves sprouted in front of her. "And I'll lay two more cards facedown behind it. Your move."
"Time to show you what the Master has brought to this era," Melissa stated, drawing a card. "I summon Inzektor Centipede in Attack mode!" A man in fuchsia-colored insect-like armor with wicked arm blades appeared in front of her and stood tall, ready to strike at his mistress's command
Inzektor Centipede: Atk 1600, Def 1200, LV 3
"Inzektor?" Dani repeated quizzically, "Anybody ever hear of that before?"
Jack shook his head. "This must be the type of Deck the Master gave her. Must be foreign, if I had to guess."
"It's a lot less buggy than I expected," Crow noted, "Sure, his armor is buggy, but the monster itself seems like just a man in a fancy suit."
"It's more than just that," Melissa corrected, "Because my Inzektors all have special abilities that allow them to combine their talents! I use Centipede's ability to equip Inzektor Hornet to Centipede!" As she played the card, a man in yellow and black insect-like armor appeared before transforming into a wicked cannon that landed in Centipede's bladed arms. "This'll give Centipede quite the power boost."
Inzektor Centipede: Atk 2100, Def 1400, LV 6
Leo scratched his head in confusion. "So she equipped a monster to a monster, but it isn't a union monster?"
"I've never seen anything like this!" Jack exclaimed, "I just hope Akiza is up to the task of stopping this threat."
"Now, Centipede, attack that Dark Verger with Swarm Strike Cannon!" The bug-man aimed his new cannon and fired a yellow and black spiral beam that obliterated Dark Verger with ease.
"I'll end my turn with a facedown," Melissa said coolly.
"Not bad," Akiza said, glaring at her opponent. The move had rattled her a little, but she wasn't about to let that show. "I'll summon Hedge Guard in Defense mode and end my turn." A wall of what appeared to be a thick form of bamboo appeared in from of her protectively.
Hedge Guard: Atk 0, Def 2100, LV 3
"Nice!" Dani said, "That powered up bug man can't beat that defense!"
"Well then," Melissa said, "Looks like I'll just have to summon another monster. Inzektor Hopper, come to my aid!" Another man in bug-like armor, this time colored a yellow-green, appeared and drew a long bug-themed sword.
Inzektor Hopper: Atk 1700, Def 1400, LV 4
"This doesn't look good," Leo said fearfully.
"Now I'll use Hopper's ability to equip Inzektor Ladybug to Hopper, giving it enough power to get past that shrubbery!" Melissa continued. A female dressed in red armor with several disk like weapons attached appeared above Inzektor Hopper and transformed into what appeared to be a disk launcher, which landed gracefully in Hoppers arms. "I think you'll find the power boost more than substantial enough to defeat your Hedge Guard."
Inzektor Hopper: Atk 2200, Def 1500, LV 6
"I hope one of Akiza's facedowns can stop a direct attack," Dani said, looking at the powered-up bugs with trepidation.
"Now, Inzektor Hopper, attack Hedge Guard with Disk Swarm Barrage!" Melissa called. Hopper fired several red disks that struck and obliterated Akiza's Hedge Guard.
"This isn't good," Akiza said quietly, bracing herself for the direct attack.
"Now, Centipede, strike down the Black Rose Witch with Swarm Strike Cannon!" Melissa commanded. Akiza could be heard growling as the yellow and black beam struck home.
Akiza LP: 1900
"Akiza!" Leo cried in fear.
Yusei's group.
Yusei groaned with pain as a sudden pang emanated from his mark. Luna also winced at the sudden pain.
"What's wrong Yusei?" Yugi asked, concerned.
"I think Akiza just took a direct attack," Yusei answered as the pain subsided. He looked at the Mark of the Dragon, glowing just as brightly as before.
"I hope she's okay," Luna murmured.
Akiza's group
Akiza remained standing after the devastating attack, but she looked shaky.
"Hang in there Akiza!" Dani called.
"Go get her big sis!" Leo cheered.
"Big sis?" Dani asked, directing her attention to Leo.
Leo shrugged. "Akiza's been like a big sis to us, I guess it just kinda slipped out."
"Whatever keeps her going," Crow said.
Melissa glanced at the group briefly before continuing. "I end my turn."
"I must say, this is a rather poor showing," The Master interrupted, "I expected more from the Black Rose. Then again, I have a phrase that can make things more interesting."
"Master," Melissa said, "I thought you simply wanted these people stopped."
"I do, sweet, innocent Melissa, I do," The Master replied, "But it seems the Deck I gave you is far too much for this time. So, I will now reveal the true face of your opponent."
"True face?" Jack asked, "It's not like Akiza's hiding behind a mask or anything."
The Master chuckled. "You didn't see her Dueling that Dark Signer. Akiza, the entrance to the Netherworld is on the Witch's Island!"
"The hell is that supposed to mean?" Dani asked. "Akiza?" The psychic duelist had frozen when the Master uttered that statement. "Akiza?"
"Now, this should be more entertaining!" The Master giggled, "Have fun Melissa!"
"I don't like the look of this," Crow said, worried. A sudden gale began blowing around the room, centered around Akiza as she straightened up, a dangerous look in her eyes. Her bang retainer suddenly flew off, letting her bangs fly everywhere in the wind.
"What's going on?" Jack demanded, shielding his face from the debris that was picked up in the whirlwind.
"Hang on everybody!" Crow cried as the gale intensified briefly before it suddenly ended, letting any debris that had been picked up fall to the ground.
"What has been unleashed?" Melissa asked quietly, "I fear my Master has awakened a fearsome creature."
A metal object clanged off Dani's head, prompting an aggravated shout. "Hey!" She bent down and picked up the offending object. "Her bang restrainer?"
"That does more than hold back her bangs," Leo explained, "It helps keep her psychic powers in check. It looks like the Master has unleashed the Black Rose Witch once again."
"But, how did one little phrase cause her to snap like that?" Crow asked warily.
"I don't know, but whatever just happened, we have to snap Akiza out of it," Jack said.
"You okay Akiza?" Dani called.
"Never better," Akiza answered in a low voice. Dani recoiled at the intensity, something she'd never heard before from Akiza. "My turn, is it? I draw! First, I activate Seed of Deception to summon Nettles from my hand!" A green, grass-like humanoid figure appeared in front of Akiza with an unsettling grin on its face.
Nettles: Atk 1200, Def 400, LV 2
"Next, thanks to Dark Verger's special ability, I can summon it from my graveyard since I successfully summoned a Plant type Tuner," Akiza continued, a rabid smile on her face. The black two-leafed clover appeared again in Attack mode.
Dark Verger: Atk 0, Def 1000, LV 2
"Now, I'll summon Dandylion from my hand in Attack mode!" Akiza announced. A lion/flower hybrid, true to its name, appeared on the field next to Dark Verger, a determined snarl on its otherwise cute form.
Dandylion: Atk 300, Def 300, LV 3
"None of those monsters have enough power to do anything," Dani commented, "Unless she's planning to Synchro Summon!"
Akiza cackled. It was almost as scary as one of the Master's laughs. "I Tune Dark Verger and Dandylion with Nettles in order to Synchro Summon your insects downfall! Chilling flames engulf the entire world. Pitch-dark flower set into bloom! I Synchro Summon the Black Rose Dragon!" Dark Verger and Dandylion leaped into the air and became 5 shining starts that flew into the two rings Nettles turned into before a brilliant purple light erupted behind Akiza, who was laughing maniacally. As Black Rose Dragon appeared and roared, thorny vines waving in the air dangerously.
Black Rose Dragon: Atk 2400, Def 1800, LV 7
"Black Rose Dragon, destroy that Inzektor Hopper!" Akiza yelled. The mighty dragon inhaled and sent a stream of purple fire towards the green bug man.
"I'll activate Waboku to protect my insects," Melissa said calmly. The purple trap card created a glowing purple force field that blocked the deadly fire. Once the attack ended, the two bug types were revealed to be perfectly fine.
Akiza hissed. "Fine. I'll end my turn."
"My turn then," Melissa said, plucking a card from the top of her deck. "And I'll now show you the power of this Deck. I Overlay Level 6 Inzektor Centipede with Level 6 Inzektor Hopper!"
"Overlay?" came four confused replies. Even the Black Rose hesitated.
"Yes, Overlay," Melissa repeated, "In order to XYZ Summon Inzektor Exa-Beetle!" The two monsters on her field turned into two large orbs of light that opened a portal. Through that portal stepped a large figure in gold and black insect-themed armor. The two orbs didn't disappear as expected, but instead began orbiting the new monster in an almost hypnotic fashion.
Inzektor Exa-Beetle: Atk 1000, Def 1000, Rank 6
Leo snorted. "For a monster with a crazy summon, it sure is weak."
"What the hell is an XYZ summon?" Dani asked.
"I've never heard of anything like it," Jack mused, "The monster came from the Extra Deck, but it wasn't a Synchro or a Fusion Summon."
"Now, since I XYZ summoned Exa-Beetle, I can now attach a monster in either Graveyard to Exa-Beetle. Inzektor Centipede, help Exa-Beetle out!" The bug-man appeared and transformed into another weapon, this one a wicked curved fuchsia colored sword that landed in Exa-Beetle's right hand.
Inzektor Exa-Beetle: Atk 1800, Def 1600
"Now to add some more power to Exa-Beetle," Melissa continued, "I activate Inzektor Sword – Zektkaliber to give Exa-Beetle another 800 Attack and Defense." A short, thick, yellow robotic sword appeared and landed in Exa-Beetle's other hand.
Inzektor Exa-Beetle: Atk 2600, Def 2400
"It's over, Black Rose," Melissa said serenely, "It was a valiant effort, but Exa-Beetle will put you out of your misery."
"This is very, very bad," Leo said, covering his eyes and burying his face in Dani's side. She started at the sudden touch, but didn't push Leo away.
Finally, chapter 12 is done! Akiza's in a bit of a bind, as the Master has unleashed her chaotic powers with a saying he somehow overheard. He's the Master, he knows quite a bit. Let me know what youse guys think!
Corina O, I tried, I really did, but I couldn't come up with a decent backstory that flowed nicely with the story, if you could provide a backstory, that'd be awesome.
OC's won't begin appearing until the gang gets out of the maze, I'm trying my best to fit them in without disrupting the story.
Don't be afraid to leave a review, I welcome any and all respectful criticism. As an author, I'm always looking to improve.
Until the next chapter my friends!
