Joe was working a case with Jamie which came with a little bit of awkwardness from the night before.

They were on the search for the guys who brought the drugs to the party from the night before. They had a lot of witnesses to interview which took up nearly half the day before they got a solid amount of information on who they could be and a decent description. They went back to Jamie's office to figure out a game plan with all the information.

"And Your sure the women you were with-" Jamie started to say.

"Angelina wouldn't know a thing. I was with her the whole night, from the bar to the…bedroom." He cleared his throat. Jamie raised an eyebrow and looked back through the folder.

"But walk me through that. You guys get to the party and go right upstairs? Did she talk to anyone without you before that?"

"Yeah I mean when we first got there everyone wanted to see her and say hi because she doesn't live here anymore."

"Okay do you remember any of them matching the description we got?"

"Honestly didn't really look at them, I was distracted when I saw Taylor there." He said.

"Of course. Can't just focus on one girl." Jamie said rubbing his face at Joes obsession with needing girls.

"Whatever man, I don't understand why you're hung up on her."

"Because if she likes you like it seems, she might be up to telling you things, not saying she's involved." Jamie pointed out.

"But she's stupid. Literally, she isn't smart enough to have anything to do with it."

"Okay well she could at least get you into another party."

"You talking an undercover OP?"

"Looks like that's the direction we're headed." Jamie said closing the folder.

"I can try with her but what about Taylor, she was there, they're all friends somehow, and she's a hell of a lot smarter."

"That girls been through hell and back, let's give this Angelina a try first." Jamie told him.

"That's a good point." Joe said.

"Hey." Eddie interrupted from the hall.

"Hey…what's…why aren't you dressed?" Jamie asked her, she was in street clothes, with her purse. Her tour was supposed to be starting soon.

"I'm gonna head home, I don't feel that good." She said making eyes at Jamie, she seemed upset.

"Still?" Jamie questioned and got up to say bye to her.

"I'll leave you guys to it." Joe excused himself not wanting to get in the middle of whatever that was. He had his suspicions but didn't wanna ask.

Jamie came and found Joe in the break room a few minutes later getting coffee.

"Sorry bout that." Jamie said and they headed back to his office.

"Everything okay?" Joe wondered.

"Ha. Yeah, everything's good. Back to this." Jamie quick changed the subject and they started figuring out what they wanted to do to bust these guys.

They were gonna start in house, Joe would keep seeing Angelina like normal and see if she'd get him at another party with the same crew and make the guys then.

Joe really didn't think Angelina would know anything about drugs, let alone dealers or bad guys within this large group of people. If anything his money was on Taylor, she was smart, and could handle it. But Jamie was the boss and it was his call. Joe respected his want to keep Taylor out of this. She had been through a lot already and if it got down to it, they'd involve her but for now…they can handle it.

"How've you been with everything?" Jamie asked when they were headed out to their vehicles to go home.

"I'm getting better as the days roll on. Keeping busy." He said.

"Yeah, well if you ever want a guys night out or in, let me know. I could use one." Jamie said.

"Oh?" Joe was concerned, he always saw Jamie and and Eddie as a solid couple, it was hard to believe they went through tough times or fought even.

"We're good. Great actually, just need a break from stuff sometimes you know?" He said as they got to their vehicles.

"I know what you mean. Tell her I hope she feels better…" Joe gave a nod, Jamie smiled and shook his head.

"Will do." And they left.

Joe got home and showered before he called Angelina to make some small talk. If they wanted to catch these guys he had to keep her interested in him. Guess it's good she's pretty and fun to be around. He knew she wasn't the one, his future wife is smarter then this…no offense to her.

"Hi!" She said energetically over the phone.

"Hey, how was your day? What did you do?"

"Good! I slept until like noon and then went for a walk in Central Park and got lunch with my friend Danielle! Now I am getting ready to go out with my other two friends Lisa and Fiona." She said.

"Wow, fun day for you." He was still hung up on the fact she slept until noon but whatever.

"Yeah! How was your day!? Did you catch whoever brought the drugs to the party?" She wondered.

"Not yet. I worked a double so I'm pretty tired." He told her.

"Yeah, well you should go to sleep, I have to get going anyway. Maybe we can go out another night again." She suggested.

"Sure, maybe tomorrow night or Wednesday?" He offered.

"Wednesday! Tomorrow I have plans to go midnight bowling." She said.

"Busy girl. I guess put me in your calendar, and I'll see you then." He said and they hung up.
