"Well... how's living together as a family?" Kendall asked Logan as the boys paused between recordings. Logan smiled. "It's really great... but…"

"But?" The other three asked with worried faces. Logan hesitated. "Can I show you something?"

They nodded. Logan turned to his bag and took out a small box. He opened it and showed his friends what was inside. "What do you think?"

The boys stared at him with expressionless faces until Carlos said, "Well, Logan... you know we love you, but don't you think that's a little too much?"

Kendall and James laughed while Logan rolled his eyes in annoyance. "This is not for you idiots, it's for Camille."

"We know," Kendall said, patting him on the shoulder.

"So you really want to ask her?" James asked with a grin.

"Yeah, well, I think so," Logan said uncertainly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kendall, James, and Carlos asked with shocked faces.

"Don't you think it might be a little early for that?"

"Early? Dude, you've been together for ages," Carlos said, shaking his head.

"Well... Actually we've only been back together for a few months. So much has happened lately, maybe it'll just be too much. Besides, you can't deny that my last engagement didn't end so well."

"Okay, so you say that you aren't sure. But then explain to us why you still bought a ring, even though you have doubts," Kendall said. Logan thought about it for a moment. "Because it's the right thing to do."

"Exactly," Kendall said, satisfied.

"Do you already know when and how you want to ask her?" Carlos wanted to know excitedly. Logan nodded. "Yes. But I could use your help with the preparation."

"Sweet! It's going to be like the old days," James said enthusiastically.

One week later:

"You were right. It was a good decision to come here," Camille said to Logan as they walked hand in hand along the beach.

"I remembered how much you loved being at the beach," Logan replied with a smile. "And since it's been a while since just the two of us spent some time together, I thought this would be a good idea."

"And you're sure James and Lucy don't mind taking care of Mia?"

"James was absolutely thrilled about it. I think he wants to use the time to convince Mia that he's her favorite uncle."

Camille laughed. "I thought we had already agreed that Carlos was her favorite."

Logan shrugged. "You know the boys. They always try to outdo each other. However, they don't seem to understand that there are no such things like favorite uncles. Mia likes all three of them."

Camille was silent and looked at Logan in amusement. He rolled his eyes. "But yes, Carlos is probably her favorite."

Camille sighed. "Then I don't want to think about what James will come up with to convince her otherwise."

"It will probably not be too bad. Besides, Lucy is also there. And now stop worrying so much and enjoy the view of this beautiful sunset."

They had stopped and looked towards the horizon. Camille snuggled up close to Logan. "Sorry for the many worries."

"It's okay," Logan said soothingly. "You know how much I love Mia. But I also miss spending time with you alone." He gave her a sweet kiss.

For a while they were silent, looking towards the sea, enjoying their togetherness and the pretty colors of the sunset.

"It's really beautiful," Camille said with a satisfied sigh. Logan nodded. "Yeah. But not as beautiful as you are."

"You will always be a romantic, Logan Mitchell," Camille said in a soft voice and kissed him. To her surprise, Logan kept the kiss short. "Speaking of romance," he whispered, "I have a surprise for you."

"What surprise?" Camille asked curiously. Logan smiled mysteriously. "You will find out in a moment. But first you have to do something for me."

"Like what?"

"Just stand here, close your eyes, and wait for me."

"Wait for you? Where are you going?"

"Don't worry. I'll be right back."

Before Camille could say something else, Logan walked away. Confused, she shook her head, but then did what he asked for and closed her eyes. Fortunately, after a short while, noises made it clear that Logan was returning. But these noises weren't normal steps. Then she heard Logan's voice. "Open your eyes."

At first, Camille thought she was dreaming. But after blinking a few times, she realized that the sight in front of her was quite real. A beautiful white horse stood in front of her. And on its back was Logan... in a prince costume. And at that moment Camille could have sworn that it was exactly the same costume that he had worn years ago. She stared at him, completely taken aback. "Logan...?"

"You once said to me that you don't looking for a prince to ride up on a horse to asked you for a date. But the truth is that's the only way to ask you out. Because you are absolutely unique. And I know that we had our ups and downs, but since we finally found each other again, I've realized that I never want to lose you again. Even more, I want to spend every single day with you, I want to raise our daughter together, and I want to give you the life you have always dreamed of. I want and I will grant you every single wish and treat you like a queen. And that's why I'm asking you now..." Suddenly, Logan let himself slide off the horse's back into the warm sand, took a small box out of his pocket and knelt down in front of her. "Would you do me the honor of being the princess for your prince? Camille Roberts, will you marry me?"

She couldn't react, she was too overwhelmed. Logan lifted his head and looked at her with a slightly worried expression on his face. "That's the part where you either say yes or slap me. Or both."

His comment eased the tension inside her. A big grin appeared on her face. She overcame the short distance between them and threw herself into his arms. "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!"

Logan beamed and hugged her tightly. Then he looked into her eyes and kissed her.

After what felt like a wonderful eternity, none of them was able to say a word at first. But then Logan straightened up, took her hand, and helped her stand up. Together they walked over to the white horse.

"My lady?"

Camille smiled in amusement when Logan helped her onto the horse. As they rode along the beach, Camille leaned forward and gently kissed the back of Logan's neck. She couldn't see his face in his current position, but she was sure he was smiling.

They reached their destination and Camille was surprised. "Isn't that-?"

Logan nodded and got off the horse. "Yep. Griffin's beach house. He agreed that we could "borrow" it for tonight."

"Even though you made so much chaos last time?" Camille asked skeptically. Logan grinned. "He has taken his expensive cars to an unknown location and secured his basement with a steel door and an alarm system. In addition, we are older now and more responsible."

"From your lips to God's ears," Camille murmured, took his hand, and also got off the horse. A young man came up to them. Logan handed him the reins and thanked him. Then he looked at Camille with a smile. "Ready for surprise number two?"

"Yes."

Hand in hand, they walked up the path to the beach house. Once at the top, Logan opened the patio door and led her inside.

"Surprise!"

Camille had to laugh when she saw all their friends - and Mia, of course - standing in front of them. "I think I'm having déjà vu right now."

"Well, what did she say?" Carlos exclaimed excitedly. Camille grinned. "She said yes," she announced while Logan put his arms around her. Their friends were just about to start cheering when Camille suddenly raised her hand. "Wait. Before you start celebrating... there is one more thing you should know."

There was a surprised and astonished silence. Camille looked around and found Mia. "Come here, sweetie."

Mia came running to her and Camille picked her up. "Mia, do you remember the conversation we had recently? When we talked about the big surprise?"

Mia nodded excitedly. "Yes, mommy."

Camille smiled. "Well, I think now is the time to tell everyone."

Mia beamed and announced in a cheerful voice, "I'm going to be a big sister!"

This news didn't quite have the desired effect. Everyone stared at Camille in silence. Until James cleared his throat and slowly said, "So... Does that mean I shouldn't have bought the champagne?" His utterance broke the spell. Carlos and Kendall laughed, then everyone started cheering. Camille put Mia down who immediately ran over to Jo and Alexa who hugged her enthusiastically. Camille turned to Logan. He looked at her in shock. "Is that true? You are pregnant?"

Camille nodded. "Yes. And I know that it would have been better if I had told you that in private. But I thought if we're already on the good news then-"

Logan smiled and gently put a finger to her lips. "That's awesome." He pulled her close. "I love you so much," he whispered.

"Not as much as I love you," she replied and kissed him lovingly. When Kendall suddenly tapped his champagne glass with a spoon, the two broke their kiss and looked at the others. Each of them had a glass in their hand by now. Kendall stepped forward and raised his glass. "I'd like to propose a toast. To Logan and Camille, whose great love for each other has driven us all crazy more than once. And to the new baby who will make our great family even better. To family!"

"To family!" The others agreed and drank from their glasses. Then music was turned on and the rest of the night they all spent in an euphoric state of happiness. And in the center of the hustle and bustle were Logan and Camille, overjoyed and excited about what they would experience over the next few weeks and months.
