Ash and Lorelei then embarked on Articuno. Articuno then flew and left the ground and then flew up high. Articuno then flew and left the island and flew across the ocean for some time. Articuno then reached the coast of Mossdeep City.
"So here, we need to defeat Tate and Liza." Ash said.
"We would go to the gym first." Lorelei said.
Ash and Lorelei then ran down the path and then saw a path to the left that led to a Pokemon Center, a path to the right that led to a Pokemon Mart, and a path down straight. Ash and Lorelei ran down the straight path and saw a turn to the right that led to a Pokemon Gym.
Ash and Lorelei ran to the turn and then reached the turn. Ash and Lorelei then turned right and ran down the path and then came to a Pokemon Gym to their left. Ash and Lorelei then turned left and ran to the Pokemon Gym door. Ash opened the door and then Ash and Lorelei ran into the gym.
Ash and Lorelei then reached a platform. The platforms are connected by strings of energy orbs that automatically direct the trainer between them. The trainer must inspect stones on the various platforms to change which orbs are lit up, and thus which paths they can take through the Gym.
Ash and Lorelei saw a string of energy orbs that are lit down straight and a string of energy orbs that are not lit to the left. Ash and Lorelei then ran to the string of energy orbs that are lit and then went down straight and then went left as the path down straight was not lit.
Ash and Lorelei then reached another platform and saw a Team Rocket grunt.
"You both are going to lose. Kadabra, come for battle and use Role Play" the Team Rocket grunt said and released Kadabra from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Kadabra making Kadabra to lose a lot of health rapidly while Kadabra used Role Play which only replaced Mew's ability with Kadabra's ability of Inner Focus and then Kadabra fainted.
Ash and Lorelei then inspected the stone making the path down straight lit and also the path to the entrance lit. Ash and Lorelei then took the string of energy orbs to the entrance path and then moved down straight and then turned left and moved to reach the entrance.
Ash and Lorelei saw a string of energy orbs that are lit down straight and a string of energy orbs that are lit to the left. Ash and Lorelei then ran to the string of energy orbs that are lit down straight and then went down straight and then went right as the path down straight was not lit and the path to the left was not lit.
Ash and Lorelei then reached another platform and saw a Team Rocket grunt.
"You both are going to lose. Kadabra, come for battle and use Telekinesis" the Team Rocket grunt said and released Kadabra from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Kadabra making Kadabra to lose a lot of health rapidly while Kadabra used Telekinesis and then Kadabra fainted.
"Medicham, come for battle." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Medicham from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Medicham making Medicham to lose a lot of health rapidly and then Medicham fainted.
Ash and Lorelei then inspected the stone making the path to the right lit and also the path to the entrance lit. Ash and Lorelei then took the string of energy orbs to the entrance path and then moved down straight and then turned right and moved to reach the entrance.

Ash and Lorelei then reached another small platform and saw a Team Rocket grunt.
"You both are going to lose. Kirlia, come for battle." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Kirlia from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Kirlia making Kirlia to lose a lot of health rapidly and then Kirlia fainted.
"Grumpig, come for battle and use Teeter Dance." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Grumpig from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Grumpig making Grumpig to lose a lot of health rapidly while using Teeter Dance making Mew a little confused and then Grumpig fainted.
Ash and Lorelei saw a string of energy orbs that are lit to the right and then took the path which led to a platform and then Ash and Lorelei went to the string of energy orbs to the right that they did not take and then Ash and Lorelei went down straight and then turned right to reach a platform.
"You both are going to lose. Claydol, come for battle and use Hyper Beam." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Claydol from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Claydol making Claydol to lose a lot of health rapidly while Claydol used Hyper Beam making Mew lose little health and then Claydol fainted.
"Starmie, come for battle and use Confuse Ray." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Starmie from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Starmie making Starmie to lose a lot of health rapidly while using Confuse Ray making Mew a little confused and then Starmie fainted.
Ash and Lorelei then inspected the stone making the path to the left lit and then Ash and Lorelei took the strings of energy orbs to the right and then down the path and then reached another platform.
"Chimecho, come for battle and use Uproar." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Chimecho from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Chimecho making Chimecho to lose a lot of health rapidly while using Uproar making Mew lose a little health and then Chimecho fainted.
Ash and Lorelei then inspected the stone making the second strings of energy orbs to the right lit and then Ash and Lorelei took the strings of energy orbs to the right and then went down the path and turned to the right and then went down the path of strings of energy orbs.
Ash and Lorelei then reached another platform and saw a Team Rocket grunt.
"You both are going to lose. Kadabra, come for battle and use Psychic." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Kadabra from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Kadabra making Kadabra to lose a lot of health rapidly while Kadabra used Psychic making Mew lose little health and then Kadabra fainted.
"Girafarig, I need you." the Team Rocket grunt said and released Girafarig from the Pokeball.
Mew used Psychic on Girafarig making Girafarig to lose a lot of health and then Girafarig fainted.
Ash and Lorelei took the strings of energy orbs to the right and then went down the path and turned to the right and then went down the path of strings of energy orbs and then Ash and Lorelei reached the platform with a path straight down to the entrance.
Ash and Lorelei then took the string of energy orbs to the entrance path and then moved down straight and then turned left and moved to reach the entrance. Ash and Lorelei saw a string of energy orbs that are lit down straight and a string of energy orbs that are lit to the left and a string of energy orbs that are lit to the right.
Ash and Lorelei then ran to the string of energy orbs that are lit that went straight down and then went straight down the path and then Ash and Lorelei reached a platform where there was Tate and Liza.
"We will not lose!" Tate said and released Latios which Mega Evolved to become Mega Latios.
"Yes, victory will be ours." Liza said and released Latias which Mega Evolved to become Mega Latias.
"Latios, use Psychic." Tate said.
"Latias, use Helping Hand." Liza said.
"Darkrai, I need you and use Dark Pulse." Ash said and released Darkrai from the Pokeball.
"Yveltal, I need you and use Dark Pulse." Lorelei said and released Yveltal from the Pokeball.
"Darkrai and Yveltal are immune to Psychic!" Tate said.
Darkrai and Yveltal used Dark Pulse by combining the pulses to be a single pulse which made Latios and Latias to lose quite some health rapidly.
"Latios, return." Tate said and returned Latios to the Pokeball.
"Latias, return." Liza said and returned Latias to the Pokeball.
"Tate, if they have such strong Pokemon, soon we would have to retreat." Liza said worried.
"We can defeat them by having more confidence." Tate said.
"Grumpig, I need you to use Focus Blast on Darkrai." Liza said and released Grumpig from the Pokeball.
"Gallade, I need you to use Ice Punch on Yveltal." Tate said and released Gallade from the Pokeball.
Grumpig was making many Focus Blast spheres and throwing them on Darkrai which was evading them and Gallade was rushing to hit Yveltal with Ice Punch and Yveltal was rapidly flying away from Gallade.
Darkrai and Yveltal continued using Dark Pulse by combining the pulses to be a single pulse which made Grumpig and Gallade to lose health rapidly. Grumpig and Gallade lost health rapidly for quite some time and then Grumpig and Gallade fainted.
"Gallade, return." Tate said and returned Gallade to the Pokeball.
"Grumpig, return." Liza said and returned Grumpig to the Pokeball.
"We both will retreat from our own Gym." Tate said.
"You both can leave Team Rocket." Ash said.
"Team Rocket has been good according to us. We would leave." Liza said.
Tate and Liza ran using the string of energy orbs to a room. Ash and Lorelei waited and then Tate and Liza came out of the room with bags and then ran using the string of energy orbs to the entrance and then left the Mossdeep Gym.
"We have competed our job here." Lorelei said.
Ash and Lorelei then went to a warp tile and then reached the entrance. Ash and Lorelei then walked to the entrance and then walked through the entrance to reach Mossdeep City. Drake then went to Ash and Lorelei with his Altaria.
"I came to help you. I defeated the Team Rocket grunts in Mossdeep Space Center." Drake said.
"Thank you so much!" Ash said.
'It was my work to help you after you both helped Ever Grande City. I also have to tell you that Lilycove faces an imminent threat due to Team Rocket." Drake said.
"We were planning to go to Pacifildog Town. Now, we would go to Lilycove City first." Ash said.
"I am fine with that." Lorelei said.
