Just a little filler before we get straight to the final chapters.

"So . . . how exactly do you want me to thank you?" Camille asked mischievously as she and Logan got ready for bed. Logan straightened his t-shirt, sat on the edge of the bed and shook his head. "I was joking. Of course you don't have to thank me."

Camille tilted her head to the side. "Tell me, is it possible that you and your family have a little problem with gratitude? Because no matter which of you I thank, you guys always give me the same answer."

Logan smirked and reached out for her. "We don't have a problem. We are just very humble."

Camille smiled and let him pull her towards the bed. "That explains a lot."

Logan's smile turned into a grin when Camille was finally close enough for him to pull her onto his lap. Then he put his arms around her and lay down on the soft mattress, pulling Camille down with him. She placed her head on his shoulder and then there was a comfortable silence between them for a while.

"You know what's funny?" Camille finally asked, running her fingertips through his hair.

"No, what?"

"We agreed to get married as soon as possible, but we still don't have a date for the wedding."

"Well . . . I think we'd be a lot further on this one if not . . . I mean, your father, he . . . oh, never mind . . ." he trailed off, embarrassed, didn't want to bring up this subject again. Camille didn't seem to mind though. She nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

"So . . . why don't we just pick a date now?" Logan offered to get her mind off things. Camille looked at him in surprise. "You mean . . . like right now?"

"Yes, why not?"

"Alright . . . Do you have a suggestion?"

Logan thought. "Hmmm . . . This month is Thanksgiving . . . and next month is Christmas . . . How about August the fourth? That would be the day, or better the night, we got back together. That could be a good day."

Camille nodded but wasn't fully convinced. "I could agree with you . . . but that would mean I have to wait nine more months and that's definitely too long. However, we could take the fourth . . . but in February."

"The day I proposed to you?"

"That's right. And exactly a year later we would be getting married on the very same day. That could be something."

Logan frowned. "February? I don't know . . . Isn't that a pretty unusual month to get married?"

"Valentine's Day is also in February and it is the most romantic day of the year."

Logan smiled. "I guess that's what people call female logic. It's hard to argue with that."

"So . . . is that a yes?" Camille murmured, moving her lips to the side of his neck. Logan sighed contentedly. "Mmmhh . . . Yes . . . Okay, let's do it. That will be our date."

"Perfect," Camille whispered, her hands slipping under his t-shirt, caressing his lower back. Logan arched his back, surprised at this sudden turn of events.

"And now let me finally be good to you . . ."

Logan cleared his throat. "Camille . . . no . . . you don't have to . . ."

"Hey, if you want me to stop apologizing to you for my recent behavior, then let me do what I need to do."

"Um . . ."

"If you don't obey, I have to tie you up."

Logan broke into a full body sweat. "Um, no. I don't think that's necessary."

Camille giggled. "You're really prudish from time to time."

Logan raised his eyebrows. "Me? Prude?"

Camille nodded. "Just a little bit."

"I'm not a prude," Logan said offended. Camille's smile grew mischievous. "Then be a good boy and let me spoil you." Her hands wandered down his back to his butt.

"You tricked me," Logan murmured piqued. Camille nodded with a smile. "True . . . Shall I make it up to you?"

Logan gave up. When Camille was in that mood, all resistance was futile. Besides, he had no doubt that she was quite capable of tying him up if he continued to resist. An imagination that was equal parts terrifying and exciting. 'Maybe another time' he thought to himself, closing his eyes, finally surrendering to her caresses . . .
