Ash and Lorelei then reached Petalburg Gym. Ash and Lorelei walked to the entrance and then Ash and Lorelei passed through the entrance and then Ash and Lorelei entered the Petalburg Gym and then Ash and Lorelei walked in the Petalburg Gym.
"What brings you here?" Norman asked.
"I was just interested to meet you!" Ash said.
"Hi Ash!" May said.
"Hi May!" Ash said.
"Ash, how are you doing?" Max asked.
"I am doing excellent." Ash said.
"So is Lorelei your partner?" May asked.
"Yes, Lorelei is my partner." Ash said.
"Pikachu looks amazing!" May said.
"Yes, Pikachu is doing well." Ash said.
"Blaziken, I need you." May said and released Blaziken from the Pokeball.
"If you are here to ask me to leave Team Rocket, I will not do that. Team Rocket has made Petalburg City to develop so much compared to before. There are many skyscrapers in Petalburg City while before there were none." Norman said.
"The fact that Team Rocket robbed money for funding themselves means that anyone in Team Rocket would be considered a colllaborator." Ash said.
"Ambipom, I need you. Use Fire Punch." Norman said.
"Mew, teleport a Washing Machine to Rotom and Rotom, then use Hydro Pump." Ash said.
Mew teleported a Washing Machine to Rotom which made Rotom to be a Wash Rotom. Wash Rotom used Hydro Pump on Ambipom. The Hydro Pump was very powerful and Ambipom was losing a lot of health while rushing to Rotom.
Ambipom was able to make a lot of the water falling on Ambipom to be vapourize while rushing to Rotom which took time due to Hydro Pump slowing down Ambipom. Rotom's Hydro Pump was heating up due to the Fire Punch.
"Rotom, increase the strength of the Hydro Pump rapidly." Ash said.
Rotom then rapidly increased the strength of Hydro Pump which made the heat reaching Rotom to be lesser over time and then the Hydro Pump was not warm enough to affect Rotom. Ambipom was being hit by Hydro Pump that was very rapid made Ambipom to lose a lot of health and then Ambipom fainted.
"Ambipom, return." Norman said and returned Ambipom to the Pokeball.
"Rotom, use Hydro Pump." Ash said.
"Sawsbuck, I need you. Use Horn Leech." Norman said.
Rotom used Hydro Pump on Sawsbuck which was rushing to hit Rotom with Horn Leech. The Hydro Pump was very powerful and Sawsbuck was losing a lot of health while Sawsbuck was rushing to Rotom.
Sawsbuck was able to reach Rotom in some time and held Rotom and hit Rotom rapidly with Horn Leech making Rotom to lose some health. Rotom was increasing the power of Hydro Pump rapidly and still Sawsbuck was able to hit Rotom.
"Rotom, you can do it! Use Hydro Pump like a bubble." Ash said.
Rotom used Hydro Pump like a bubble around itself which was hitting Sawsbuck which held Rotom. Sawsbuck was being battered by Hydro Pump which was making Sawsbuck to lose a lot of health rapidly and then Sawsbuck then soon fainted.
"Sawsbuck, return." Norman said and returned Sawsbuck to the Pokeball.
"Slaking, I need you. Use Giga Impact." Norman said.
Rotom used Hydro Pump on Slaking which was using Giga Impact on the Hydro Pump. The Hydro Pump was very powerful and Slaking was losing a lot of health while being hit by the Hydro Pump.
Slaking was using Giga Impact on the Hydro Pump and Slaking passed through the water to hit Rotom and Rotom was losing some health. Rotom was increasing the power of Hydro Pump and still Giga Impact was hitting Rotom.
"Rotom, move rapidly around with Hydro Pump like a bubble and increase the flow rapidly." Ash said.
Rotom rapidly moved using Hydro Pump which had a rapid Turbulent flow which pushed Slakng and so Rotom was not being hit by the Giga Impact. Slaking continued to lose a lot of health due to Hydro Pump and then soon fainted.
"Slaking, return." Norman said and returned Slaking to the Pokeball.
"Exploud, I need you. Use Blizzard." Norman said.
Rotom used Hydro Pump on Exploud which was using Blizzard on the Hydro Pump. The Hydro Pump was very powerful and Exploud was losing a lot of health while Exploud was being hit by the Hydro Pump.
Exploud was using Blizzard on the Hydro Pump which dissolved through the water to hit Rotom with the ice in Blizzard and Rotom was losing some health. Rotom was increasing the power of Hydro Pump and still Blizzard was hitting Rotom.
"Rotom, use Hydro Pump extremely rapidly." Ash said.
Rotom rapidly moved using Hydro Pump which which made Blizzard ice in the water to be more diluted in the water and soon the Water near Rotom was not cold as the ice was too diluted. Exploud continued to lose a lot of health due to Hydro Pump and then soon fainted.
"Exploud, return." Norman said and returned Exploud to the Pokeball.
"Bouffalant, I need you. Use Megahorn." Norman said.
Rotom used Hydro Pump on Bouffalant which was rushing to Rotom with Megahorn. The Hydro Pump was very powerful and Bouffalant was losing a lot of health while rushing to Rotom.
Bouffalant was able to make a lot of the water falling on Bouffalant to be pushed away while rushing to Rotom which took time due to Hydro Pump slowing down Bouffalant. Rotom's Hydro Pump was pushed due to the Megahorn.
"Rotom, increase the strength of the Hydro Pump rapidly." Ash said.
Rotom then rapidly increased the strength of Hydro Pump. Bouffalant was then being hit by Hydro Pump that was very rapid and so made Bouffalant to lose a lot of health and then Bouffalant fainted.
"Bouffalant, return." Norman said and returned Bouffalant to the Pokeball.
Rotom then left the Washing Machine and then Mew teleported the Washing Machine.
"I would be teleporting you to the Secret Area." Ash said.
"Ash, while I have good ties with you, I would not let you to take my father away! Blaziken, use Blaze Kick!" May said.
"Sceptile, I choose you! Use Leaf Blade." Ash said and released Sceptie from the Pokeball.
Sceptile used Leaf Blade which met with Blaziken's Blaze Kick and then Blaziken lept from Sceptile to the ground.
"Sceptile, use Leaf Storm." Ash said.
"Blaziken, use Fire Spin." May said.
Sceptile used Leaf Storm which met with Blaziken's Fire Spin. The Leaves in Fire Spin were vaporizing due to the heat of Fire Spin and the Fire Spin was starting to overpower the Leaf Storm.
"I will not let you take my father away!" May said.
"Your father did the crime of supporting Team Rocket! If you fight me, you would aso be taken to the Secret Area." Ash said.
"I do not care. I want to be with my father and I will not let anyone to take my father away from me!" May said.
"Sceptile, rapidly increase the strength of Leaf Storm." Ash said.
"Blaziken, rapidly increase the strength of Fire Spin." May said.
Sceptile rapidly increased the strength of Leaf Storm whie Blaziken rapidly increased the strength of Fire Spin. Blaziken was soon overpowering Sceptile's Leaf Storm and was rapidly burning the leaves in Leaf Storm.
"May's desire to protect her father is huge! I need to defeat her!" Ash said.
"I know that you can defeat May! I trust you to defeat her!" Lorelei said.
"Lorelei, are you the one instigating Ash to capture my father?" May asked.
"I never instigated him, your father is in Team Rocket and so Ash is supposed to take him to the Secret Area." Lorelei said.
"Why should Ash support you? I have known Ash for so long and so why should your instigation of Ash to support the League over Team Rocket mean that my father be captured?" May asked.
"Team Rocket is an evil group. No matter how much Hoenn under Team Rocket is more developed compared to Johto under the League, Team Rocket needs to be defeated. I and Ash have decided to put an end to Team Rocket! Together, we would finally defeat Team Rocket!" Lorelei said.
"I know Team Rocket is a bad group. I was not there when my father decided to support Team Rocket. But he said that Team Rocket is determined unlike the League which is lackluster in development." May said.
"I also know that! As the Master Champion, I have asked the League to put more money for development compared to before and I have said them thath the eague's lackadisal attitude to development is one of th reasons that the League mostl lost Hoenn." Lorelei said.
"Why must my father be arrested for Team Rocket's crimes?" May asked.
"He controls Team Rocket in Petalburg City and so to make sure the League controls Petalburg City, he would be taken to the Secret Area and then after some time, he would be allowed to take care of Petalburg City under the League." Lorelei said.
"Blaziken, now is the time to end this! Remember the bond I have with you and use the mot powerful Fire Spin you have ever used." May said.
May then used Fire Spin which was very powerful on Sceptile's Leaf Storm and most of the Leaves were burnt due to the Fire Spin.
"Sceptile, now is the time to end this. Use the most powerful Leaf Storm." Ash said.
Sceptile then used the most powerful Leaf Storm which was much larger than Blaziken's Fire Spin and then the Fire Spin was being blown out by the Leaf Storm. Blaziken was then rapidly pushed around by the Leaf Storm and then Blaziken was losing quite some health and then Blaziken fainted.
"I collaborated with Team Rocket as they said that if I collaborate, Petalburg City would develop rapidly and be a leading city in Hoenn." Norman said.
"May, you also would be teleported with Norman to the Secret Area." Ash said.
"Fine, we both would be there. Max would stay with Caroline." Norman said.
"I would keep you with other Gym Leaders who collaborated with Team Rocket. Your case will be decided there. Mew, teleport Norman to the Secret Area." Ash said.
Mew then teleported Norman and May to the Secret Area where there was Chuck, Kabu, Brock, Maylene, Cilan, Chili, Cress, Clemont. Norman and May saw that there was a glass window that showed another room with Lt Surge, Erika, Koga, Blaine, Gardenia, Crasher Wake, Burgh, Roxie, Lenora, Valerie, Olympia, Wulfric, Milo, Nessa, Allister, Gordie, Melony, Raihan.
