Chapter 8: Battle of Bosses and Forming of Teams
[Location: Hard Knock Forest | Date: Wednesday, Aug 27 | Time: 10:02 AM]
[Cue BGM: Genius [Written By Wolves] Nightcore Version]
"THIS THING IS FREAKING ANNOYING!" Megumi screamed in frustration as she and Konner tried to land a good shot on the Broilapede...only for it to swiftly tunnel underground again, making the arrow fly above harmlessly. "Damnit! Have we even made any headway on hurting this thing?"
"Does stunning it for a few seconds count?" Konner asks before yelping as he had to dodge another geyser. "Oh that's hot, that's very hot!"
For the past thirty minutes, which feels like hours to them, the young hunter hopefuls are at their wits ends in trying to come up with a solution to kill the Broilapede or at the very least stun it long enough to deal some actual damage. Sadly that's easier said than done with the insectoid Grimm taking on a more aggressive ambush approach due to its 'weak point' being struck by Konner earlier and with the combination of its Geyser Field being in play the four teens are really starting to tire out. Betty Swoops meanwhile was flying overhead, not able to do much as the steam messed with her flying so all she could do was give warnings to Konner only he could understand when a new geyser was rising up or the Broilapede was about to attack.
"This is like a demented game of Whack-A-Mole!" Giovanni shouted as he searched for when the Broilapede would pop up. "Only this mole whacks back!"
"At this rate, we'll run out of ammo and Aura unless we do something to slow this thing down," Seraphinite grunted, her [Side Blaster] at the ready.
"We have to keep it from going back underground or at the very least slow its movements," Konner said dodging another blast of boiling water. "Although I don't think that's possible since this thing has the home field advantage right now."
"So maybe we should change the playing field then," Giovanni mused before his eyes widened and he dashed to the side to avoid being hit by the Broilapede as it burst up from the ground where he once stood. "Shit! That was close!"
"So why don't we go somewhere else to fight it?" Megumi asked while staying on the move and firing potshots while carefully avoiding geysers. "Cause I'm all for getting out of the steam minefield."
"That is a possibility but at the same time we risk running into other initiates as well, putting them in danger," Seraphinite said.
As the Broilapede tunneled back underground, Konner's eyes lit up as if a lightbulb went off above him, a plan coming together in his mind.
"Guys, form up on me! You too Betty Swoops, I have a plan!"
Once gathered, Konner quickly relayed his plan which made Betty Swoops worried and the three older teens skeptical.
"I don't know little dude this seems a bit too risky...for you especially," Giovanni says.
"I know it is but right now we're short on options and as long as everyone plays their part it should be fine," Konner reassures.
"It's better than not doing anything, let's do this," Seraphinite commented and activated her rocket boot functions. "Megumi, Giovanni, grab on."
The Grimm Eater does so while the Dune Ranger gives Konner a quick hug of good luck before taking Seraphinite's hand and the trio blast off into the air and into the cover of the nearby flora to rest and prepare. Betty Swoops was seen flying high into the air to wait for the signal from her pup, looking on with worry all the same. At that moment, the ground rumbles again making Konner get on guard before having to dash out of the way from another geyser attack.
[Cue BGM: Bulletproof by 12 Stones -Nightcore]
"Is that all you got ya oversized bug?" Konner taunts before he notices a towering shadow within the geyser. "OH CRAP!"
The Broilapede bursts out from the geyser and tries to swallow Konner whole but thankfully the hybrid sprung himself into the air to summersault away from the jaws of death. With a swift turn of its head, the insectoid Grimm began to fire a multitude of boiling hot water bullets at the hybrid forcing him to pull some sick dodging maneuvers to not get scalded.
"Ok, the plans going wel-WHOA!" Konner mused before yelping from almost getting nicked by a super hot water bullet. "Maybe a little too well but I'll take what I can get. Now I need time to prepare...Betty Swoops! It's showtime girl!"
The white dove gave a thrill before gold-colored Aura flared around her body and from it spawned over three dozen clones of herself, all looking exactly like her down to the T.
Semblance Name: One Bird Flock | Class: Spawner | Info: Allows Betty Swoops to make a maximum number of forty clones of herself that look exactly like her so it's hard to tell the real her from her clones.
All of the copy birds gave out battle thrills before they dived down and began to swarm the Broilapede's head, cutting off its field of vision and distracting it. As the insect Grimm thrashed about, trying and failing to kill the birds, Konner took a step back before bringing out another guitar pick. This one was brown in color while having a picture of a rock that was colored grey.
"Ok, I managed to do this one time by complete accident and nearly buried myself alive then the other couple times took me a lot of effort to get down. I hope this works otherwise this'll be a wasted effort and I'll most likely die," Konner mused to himself before cracking his neck and took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing."
Back with Betty Swoops, the small avian was in a bit of a pickle as she was now down to her last eight clones as the rest were destroyed by the Broilapede who now looked more pissed than ever...or as pissed as a giant bug with no facial features could look. Just as it was about to attack with a hail of hot water bullets, she felt a sharp spike of Aura and gave a bird-like smirk as she heard her begin to play his music.
[Cue BGM: Naruto OST - The Rising Fighting Spirit]
Hearing the music and feeling the energy spike, the Broilapede turned around to focus its attention on Konner to find that the boy's Aura was now flowing more freely and wildly around him as it had a topaz brown color to it while his eyes glowed ominously in the same color.
"Time to change the playing field to my own!" Konner roared before shredding a tune on [Omnisynth]. "Terraform: Gaia Grip!"
With those words, the ground began to shake and rumble, and the earth shifted within the area while closing up the geyser field in the process much to the Broilapede's silent shock. It knew then and there that whatever Konner was doing was probably dangerous so it tried to lunge at Konner to kill him...only for Kon to play a sharp tune as the giant insect was forcefully stopped by two massive hands made of earth erupting right underneath it and grabbing the long insect in a double iron grip. The Grimm tried to move but the stone hands had it held by the base of its head and end of its tail keeping its body taut, not allowing it to move or bend as well as exposing its underbelly.
"You're not...going...anywhere!" Konner strained as he was using every ounce of willpower and focus to keep playing his music and keep the Broilapede in place with its wild thrashing before shouting out towards the forest. "Ok guys, hurry up and lay some damage on this thing! This technique drains a lot of my Aura so I don't know how long I will last like this!"
The Broilapede hissed in fury at the small hybrid's treachery and then proceeded to build up broiled water to spit at Konner…
*SWISH!*
*THUNK!*
*BZZZZZT!*
…only to be interrupted by an arrow loading itself in under its neck and proceeding to shock it with over a couple thousand volts of electricity, making the insect hiss in pain and accidentally shoot its water in the air which comes down directly on it. This makes the next [Electircal-Charged Arrow] that nails into it hurt worse than before as it was shorting out.
"Not so tough now that you can't run away are ya, you buggy bastard!" Megumi whoops with a laugh from her perch in a tall tree.
Suddenly, Giovanni and Seraphinite burst from the trees and began rushing the Broilapede, intent on laying some serious hurt on the bug.
"Here we go, baby!" Giovanni shouted gleefully before he chucked his swords into the underbelly of the Grimm. "Light it up!"
[Madness and Mayhem's] blades glowed brightly before erupting into a very powerful explosion, making the Broilapede screech in agony as the swords flew back into Giovanni's hands. He then combined the pommels of the swords together, morphing his weapon into a double-bladed spear before proceeding to relentlessly attack the spot that was recently harmed, laughing like a loon.
"Jolternaut Deploy!" Seraphinite shouted as the bracelets on her wrists formed two huge mechanical hands which she swiftly clenched into fists, letting her semblance flow through them as electricity sparked off them.
The gynoid then joined the Grimm Eater in attacking the Broilapede's unprotected underbelly as she wailed into the Grimm with swift yet powerful strikes, boosted by the electricity from her semblance. The overgrown insect screeched in pure agony as it was being both ripped and crushed from the onslaught as the electricity was cooking it from the inside out. As it was occupied, Megumi took the time to jump down from her perch and rush over to Konner's position and noticed he was sweating bullets and his whole body was shaking but he still continued to play his music at a steady rhythm.
"How are you holding up Kon?" The ranger asked.
"Good...so...far," The hybrid panted out with the exhaustion clear in his voice. "This is taking far more Aura than I failed to realize, please tell me Gio and Sera have killed that thing already. I'm almost running on fumes and I don't know how much longer I can hold it."
"Then, let's hope we don't have to start living on a prayer," Megumi says before her ears picked up on something. "Wait, what's that whistling sound?"
"It sounds like a teapot when it's…." Konner began before his eyes widened in horror before screaming out. "GIO! SERA! GET OUT OF THERE NOW!
[Cue BGM: Super Mario Galaxy - Catastrophe Theme]
The two older teens didn't need to be told twice as broiling water came flying at where they once stood, searing and shredding the spot they once stood on. The Broilapede looked redder in color as a menacing black Aura flared around it with steam coming out of its pores as it melted the stone hands and shattered them. It looked like it was slowly melting but the creature had lost its drive to survive. Instead, it just wanted to kill everything in sight, specifically the four teens before it.
"Uh…run?" Giovanni asked.
"Run! Definitely run!" Seraphinite said as they all bolted.
[Cue BGM: The Bandits at Jakob's Estate | Borderlands 3 OST]
The creature chased, spraying a continuous stream of water that was closing in on their legs.
"What the hell is going on with it?!" Megumi shouted.
"I think we knocked a screw loose," Giovanni said as the bug Grimm was smashing away trees in its path.
"It's using Vigorous Haze, a Broilapede's last resort! That thing is basically making itself untouchable and no longer cares what it's attacking!" Konner panted heavily. "Though as a cost it's pushing its body past its heat threshold!"
"So we wait for it to burn itself out?" Seraphinite asked.
"No it'll still take a good while for it to die but this is our chance to actually make the kill," Konner says. "It's now fully vulnerable to electric attacks, if we can hit it with stronger volts we can stun it long enough to go for a kill shot."
"I can handle the electricity part...but I need a few moments to charge it up," Seraphinite said.
"I got an idea. A stupid one, but it'll buy you some time!" Giovanni said getting out a chunk of [Ice Dust].
He pumped some Aura into it before he turned and threw it into the creature's mouth causing it to explode with a *POP*, making the Broilapede choke from the shock of the sudden cold meeting its hot melting body.
"There, I may not be able to use Dust like you guys but I sure as hell can do other things with it!" The Grimm eater grinned, earning a grateful nod from the Gynoid.
"Ok Sera, do what you need to shock that thing!" Konner says before turning to the other two. "Megumi...you think you'll be able to throw Gio at that thing?"
At their confused glances, he gives a brief rundown of his new plan which makes their eyes widen...but then breaks out into huge grins.
"I'll be able to handle that little dude," Megumi states before shifting into Amazon Mode, cracking her knuckles. "You gonna be ok with this Mister Pompadour?"
"Sure thing, just let me acquire the appropriate tool for the job," The Grimm Eater cackles before holding both his swords together. "Now, 1st Form: Art of Gore!"
[Madness and Mayhem] glowed ominously with Giovanni's Aura before they both began to 'phase into one another, transforming into a new weapon. Once the transformation was complete, in his hands Gio held a massive sword that was about 5 ½ ft in length, almost a foot wide, and a few inches thick. The blade had its usual colors and it was serrated all the way around while the guard was ornamented with a snarling golden dragon with red eyes.
"Hope you don't mind the extra weight Megumi," Giovanni says while doing steady practice swings with his new blade. "[Art of Gore] here is heavy as hell, about an extra 450lbs of weight if my math is correct, think you'll be able to handle it?"
As if to answer his question, Megumi effortlessly picks up the Grimm Eater with a cheeky grin on her face. As this happens the Broilapede had finally recovered and let out a screeching roar of both anger and agony before charging after the teens again...but Seraphinite was ready as her hands glowed brightly with barely controlled electricity.
"Taser Quake!" The Gynoid roared before slamming her hands onto the ground.
The electricity traveled across the ground at blinding speeds before erupting under the Broilapede, shocking it with so much electricity that the insectoid Grimm couldn't even screech in pain as the agony was too much. With the Grimm immobilized, the teens capitalized on it and made the final attack.
"NOW!" Konner shouts channeling his wind into his rings as his tails spin at high speeds.
Megumi pulled her arm back as the muscles in it flexed before she chucked Giovanni at the Broilapede. Konner created a funnel of green wind around the pompadour teen which made him fly faster like a ball being shot out of a cannon.
"See you in hell jackass!" Giovanni roared before swinging his sword, decapitating the massive bug Grimm in the process.
The battle was over.
[BGM End]
Seraphinite depowers her semblance and taken a breath as Giovanni lands on his feet. No wisecracks were made as the ragged group focused on getting away before anyone or anything else showed up. Giovanni had also absorbed the Broilapede's essence, none the wiser he'd get horrible gas for doing so later.
"Thank Oum above that's over!" Megumi exclaimed, shifting back to normal. "Now can we please go find someplace to set up camp and call it a day? I don't feel like putting out anymore right now."
"Fine by me," Konner sighed as Betty Swoops landed on his shoulder and nuzzled him. "Thank you girl, let's get going gu-wait a minute...is that what I think it is?"
Laying on the forest floor was the 'bone mask' of the Broilapede the four teens had just defeated and when Konner picked it up to look it over...his face broke into a grin.
"Guys we just hit the jackpot! Fighting that stupid bug was more worth it than we realized!" The hybrid cheered, holding up the mask for all to see.
"Explain when we can rest," Seraphinite stated. "I do not want to collapse from overexertion."
"Don't worry...I'll beat ya to it," Konner slurs before face planting into the ground unconscious, Betty Swoops cooing in worry.
Megumi freaked out and checked on him before letting out a breath of relief when she realized the young hybrid was tired and was sleeping it up. The ranger scooped him up into her arms and followed Seraphinite and Giovanni's lead to find a place to rest.
The teachers watching had sighs of relief, but looks of concern. Broilapedes were not exactly common in controlled environments such as this. Lionheart did not think much of it but marked it down to look into later on. At the very least...these four had proven their worth as Hunters.

[Location: Hard Knock Forest | Date: Wednesday, Aug 27 | Time: 12: 45 PM]
Some distance away by a small lake with a waterfall we find Elanor who was scanning animals and plants with her device. She had managed to kill a few weaker Grimm earlier so now she was just going about collecting some easy points before moving on and seeing to finding a partner...more specifically Konner. She just felt more comfortable with someone her age and NOT because she had any form of a crush on him.
"Ok I think that's about everything here," Elanor mused before she heard quacking and saw some strange-looking ducks swimming about. "Wait, what kind of ducks are they? They look like they have Grimm colorings."
A quick scan with her device gave her the answer she needed.
Guck | Water Fowl Grimm | Avian Type: A species of Duck Grimm and yet despite being a Grimm it acts like a normal mild-mannered duck. The only form of defense they have is they travel in sizable flocks and have strong bone-armored bills to peck the hell out of anyone who attacks them.
"...ok when people say that Mistral has some strange Grimm species this is a little ridiculous," The young girl mumbles with a sweatdrop. "They're still pretty cute though."
A Guck was choking on a piece of food before spitting it out and accidentally splattering it on Eleanor's face.
"Ugh, my mouth was open…gross," Eleanor said glumly.
As Elanor tried to clean herself up, she was unaware that a Grimm was sneaking up on her...until it let out a screeching snarl and lunged at her noisily, making the dinosaur Faunus roll to the side as it cracked into a dead stump. Quickly righting herself, Elanor pulled out her weapon [Spinfury], an oversized sai-like weapon with prongs looking like long skinny drills. As the Grimm got to its feet with a snarl, Elanor was quick to scan it to see what information she could get as she didn't recognize it.
Needlepine | Hostile Hedgehog Grimm | Mammal Type: A species of Hedgehog Grimm that are normally found in forests with plenty of vegetation and are roughly the size of a Bulldog. They always live in packs and follow at least one Alpha which is the size of an average human. An aggressive and hostile Grimm, it will attack anything not a Needlepine in its sights. A Needlepine's best defense is the many sharp quills covering its back and it can roll up into a ball to defend itself from attacks be it physical or projectile and can retaliate with a devastating rolling attack known as the Death Roll which can also be used as a form to move faster and fire the quills like a machine gun at their desired target. If most and/or all their quills have been used up a Needlepine can grow them back rather quickly but it leaves them vulnerable so they are always in packs to cover one another with the Alpha coordinating them expertly.
Right as the info was said, more Needlepines showed themselves, growling at her maliciously while an Alpha was further in the back watching her with critical beady eyes. Elanor took a breath to steel herself, she wouldn't falter, especially to overgrown rodents like these.
"...bring it on you ugly rats," Elanor said softly, with a hint of steel in her voice as her Aura, titania brown in color, flared around her briefly.
This seemed to make the Needlepines more aggressive as they gave loud snarls before charging the young Faunus girl.
[Cue BGM: The Proving Grounds Final Exam | Borderlands 3 OST]
As the first trio of Needlepines got close to her, Elanor quickly activated the drill functions of her weapon before performing a spinning slash attack which shredded through their faces, killing them instantly. She then spun to the side, barely missing another Needlepine trying to tackle her to the ground before slashing upward with her weapon to slice open its belly, killing it as well. This action made the rodent Grimm get smart and prepared to fire their quills at the young girl to skewer her to immobilize her in pain before ripping her to shreds.
Too bad Elanor saw that coming and acted swiftly by summoning a metallic playing card from a small card box strapped under her right wrist. Pumping some magic into it, Elanor puts the card into action.
"Red Diamond #10: Ankylo Shell!"
Right as the Needlepines fired their quills at Elanor, a bubble of magical energy shaped like an Ankylo shell instantly appeared around her which made the fired quills bounce off harmlessly. With her new shield up, Elanor goes on the offensive and dashes towards the oversized rodents with her weapon whirling to life as she pierces a large hole straight through the nearest Needlpine before spinning on her heel and cursing another one's skull in with a powerful kick. The Needlepines decided to make it rain quills forcing Elanor to use another card.
"Red Diamond #8: Spark Mandrill!"
Little landmines dispersed as she fled while the creatures of the night chased after her only to get electrocuted like flies. Elanor used this chance to flee, not wanting to even take a chance with the Alpha. However, they were after her using their Death Roll technique which was something she actually had been hoping for. She got out a flashbang before smashing it on the ground making a bright flash. They rolled past it unaware that Elanor was hiding up in a tree while they kept rolling.
[Music End]
"Phew, that was way too close for comfort," The dino girl sighed. "I can't help roughin' it alone…I need help."
Her thoughts immediately went to that cute four-tailed Faunus boy she met this morning. She wondered if he was available for a team-up with her and began to be lost in her daydreams...so much so she didn't notice a person landing on the branch above her until they spoke.
"You know it's not very safe to let your mind wander in a place like this."
The dino-girl yelped in surprise and almost fell off her branch before quickly righting herself and then looking up at the one that spoke to her.
Elanor could tell the person was a human girl who looked to be about 17 years old. She stood at 5ft 5in, had healthy pale skin, warm green eyes, and dark navy blue hair done in a Hime Cut LoB hairstyle. Her body is toned but has a very curvy hourglass figure for someone her age with slightly wide hips and a large set of breasts.
For attire, she wears a magenta-colored Taisho-style Kimono, a grey-colored Hakama with her emblem, a pink cartoon bomb with a lit fuse surrounded by matching flower petals and the kanji for "Bloom" in the center colored pale purple, on the side and a pair of black-colored short-heeled combat boots. She also wears pieces of samurai-like armor on her shoulders, chest, and hips that are a pale-blue color. Finally, for weapons, she had both a katana and a tanto blade strapped to on the left side of her waist, a small bag designed the same way as her armor on her right, and holstered on her back was a collapsed gun of some kind.
"W-Who are you?" Elanor asked timidly.
"My name is Camilla Van and don't worry, I won't attack you for your points," The girl answered. "I apologize for scaring you but I was actually coming to make sure you were okay from those Needlepines since I saw you running from them but…it looked you had everything under control didn't you?"
"Um, thanks? I was kinda winging it mostly and I didn't really want to try and change the Alpha by myself so that's why I retreated," Elanor admitted. "I'm…not that confident of a fighter on my own."
"You're humble enough to know your limitations, and admit when you're in over your head." Camilla giggled. "It's nothing to be ashamed of."
Elanor blushed at the praise and was about to comment…
*BOOOM!*
…a sudden explosion nearby shook the ground, making the girls fall out of the tree but they managed to land on their feet.
"What the heck was that?" Elanor asked in surprise.
"Sounds like someone finished off those Needlepines that rolled by," Camilla said while straightening her clothing out. "Shall we go take a look?"
Elanor nodded before the two raced off in the direction of where the explosion originated from. It took them long to find the source within an open clearing. The signs of battle spread throughout with Grimm essence dissipating in the air from the slain Needlepines, and in the center, the Alpha Needlepine was getting brutally hacked apart by an initiate as it squealed in agony. With an angry shout, the initiate cleaved the large rodent Grimm in two, putting it out of its misery for good.
"That'll teach you damn rats to interrupt someone when they're taking a piss," The initiate snarled before turning their attention to the wide-eyed duo. "The fuck you two looking at?"
This made Elanor and Camilla snap back to reality as they took in the looks of the initiate, who happened to be a Faunus girl around the same age as Camilla. She stands at 5ft 10in, has lightly tanned skin, red eyes, dirty white hair done in a short War Zone Warrior braid hairstyle with the sides being black, a natural snaggle tooth, and a long honey badger tail with a matching set of ears. Her body is packed with compacted muscle but has great curves as well as a large number of scars of various sizes across her body, possibly from fighting so many Grimm and other beasts by the looks of things.
Her attire is a blood-red leather armored corset with black pauldrons that weaves towards the centerpiece, a white-colored loincloth reaching past her knees with her emblem, a red Omega symbol with a gray ax and shotgun crossed behind it on the front, and a pair of knee-high boots that were made up of the skin and fur of a Beowolf complete with some white-bone armor. On her arms, she wears armor that is made up of the skin and scales of a King Taijitu that reaches just below her shoulders while around her neck is a necklace with various teeth and claws of Grimm she's slain. To finish off her attire, she wears a white-furred cloak made from an Albino Manticore's fur with its black-bone mask attached to the hood-headpiece.
As for weapons, the one in her hand she used to cleave the Alpha Needlepine was a large cleaver-like sword made up entirely of bones of different creatures, and Grimm by the look of them, and holstered around her waist is a pair of tactical tomahawks.
"You want a piece of me too?!" The badger faunus growled as she slammed her weapon on the ground causing a small quake as her body was giving off some steam with her skin having a slight pink glow to it.
Elanor was visibly frightened at the show of force but Camila simply stood her ground and calmly answered.
"Please calm yourself, we're not here to fight. We only came to investigate the explosion we heard and make sure no one was hurt…although it seems that everything is fine considering you killed all the Needlepines," The samurai girl said.
The badger girl looked at Camilla with narrowed eyes as if sizing her up…before scoffing and putting her weapon away.
"You're lucky I can tell you were being truthful otherwise I'd have caved your faces in," The girl spoke before she introduced herself. "Names Savannah Syena, remember it 'cause I won't be repeating myself."
"I don't think we could if we tried," Camilla drawled before clearing her throat. "My name is Camilla Van and the girl behind me is Elanor Tangerine."
"H-hi," The young girl greeted from behind the samurai. "Sorry about the Needlepines, I kinda accidentally made them come to you when I was evading them earlier."
"Why the hell didn't you kill them all then? Those things are considered canon-fodder Grimm for a reason you know," Savannah asked with a raised eyebrow.
Elanor got more embarrassed and tried to stutter out an excuse.
"They're only cannon fodder when you're prepared for them!" Elanor said. "They jumped me when I was busy scanning flora and fauna, not to forget they came in a herd with a freaking alpha!"
"You're taking the initiation to be a Huntress aren't you? If you can't handle weak Grimm like that then you might as well quit while you're ahead and go home," Savannah berated.
"That's your opinion and I'd appreciate it if you keep it to yourself," Elanor said icily. 'Besides I have no place and no one to go home to.'
"Easy, she has as much of a right to be here just like us," Camilla defended calmly. "You know the headmaster accepted us here for initiation for a reason, age and experience mean nothing to him."
Savannah scoffed as was going to make another comment but then the air suddenly got colder around them, making them shiver from the sudden change of temperature before actual snow started to fall.
"Ok, I heard that Mistral can have really bizarre weather patterns but this is ridiculous," Elanor said, holding her hand out to feel the snow. "Is this supposed to be normal?"
"No this, even by Mistral standard this is not supposed to be happening around this time of year…this snow has something unnatural about it," Camilla said.
"...ah shit, I know what this is," Savannah groaned while pulling out her bone cleaver. "You two might wanna get your weapons, we're about to deal with a very powerful Grimm."
Right as she said this, someone burst out of the treelines, and the girls saw that it was another girl. She looked about a year older than Savannah and Camila while standing at 6ft 8in with bronze tan skin, sharply narrowed golden eyes, and her brown hair was done in a low flat twisted bun style. She has a pair of striped white Liger ears on her head and a matching tail with her body being ripped with thick muscle but she is still very limber and curvy.
Her attire was a beige sleeveless shirt with her emblem, a golden-colored Center of Gravity symbol, on both shoulders, army green cargo pants, pale brown army boots, black fingerless gloves with a matching colored beret hat, and shoulder armor with the straps being the same color as her pants. She also wears a black utility belt around her waist and thighs with many pouches and strapped to her sides were a pair of magnum pistols/sword hybrids while in her hands were a pair of heavy tonfas that looked like they worked as machine guns.
The girl came to a stop before the trio.
"Hey uh, any of you wouldn't happen to have a really powerful flamethrower on you would ya?" The Liger Faunus asks.
"Uh…no?" Eleanor answers sheepishly, making the older girl sigh.
"Guess we're doing this the old fashion way then," She said, cracking her neck and gripping her weapons tighter. "Names Juna Pride by the way…and you might wanna brace yourselves."
Just then a loud roar echoed throughout the area, turning the gentle snowfall into a raging snowstorm as loud lumbering footsteps made their way toward the girls. A creature leaped into the air with his glowing eyes boring into the girls' very souls as he flew over their heads before landing behind them skidding in the snow.
[Cues: raito - Snow Sisters]
Standing on its hind legs, clocking in at a towering 25ft was an albino Grimm that resembled more of a Polar Bear making it much more unique than the normal Ursa or Ursai. Its claws were long and slightly hooked with Ice Dust crystals of various sizes completely covering its back while some jutted out from its elbows, shoulders, and knees. Its cold blue eyes glared down at the four females while it casually licked its chops, intentionally showing off its razor-sharp fangs to intimidate the girls with a scare tactic, a tactic that was working very well on poor Elanor.
"What the heck is that thing?!" Elanor eeped, terrified out of her mind.
"An Ursa Blizzard. I think that Lionheart has been importing Grimm into these woods, but those things only show up in Atlas." June said. "The crazy bastard!"
"No, it's probably a rare spawn occurrence. As long as there is a lot of a certain type of Dust within a Spawning Pool a Grimm of that nature will spawn from it no matter what environment it's in," Savannah explained.
"Plus Mistral is a hotspot for random and rare occurrences like this so I'm not fully surprised," Camilla added in.
Elanor was still confused so she pulled up her scanner quickly to get some information about it and she did, the first regarding what class of Grimm this was and what it actually was.
A Dust Infused Grimm Breed or DIGB is a class of Grimm that has somehow gained the ability to use Dust due to forming out Spawn Pools with high amounts of Dust radiating from within it or around it. A DIGB Class can only harness the Dust that it is formed out of with a few exceptions and while they gain new strengths from being able to manipulate and harness the element they have they also gain all of its weaknesses and limitations as well.
Ursa Blizzard | Killer Bear Grimm | Dust Mammal Type: An Ice DIGB that is four times the size of an average Ursa Major and resembles more of a Polar Bear with its back being covered in Ice Dust of various shapes and sizes. It's known to freeze its enemies solid with a freezing breath attack or skewer them with ice spikes before devouring them. Due to having such high amounts of ice running through their system and their massive size, Ursa Blizzards are highly resistant to most fire attacks any average Hunter can produce as it takes a continuous amount of high heat to actually do any form of damage to them that way. They will also produce violent snowstorms within a set radius that will not only conceal them and make them move quicker but will considerably weaken any sort of fire attack produced to combat it.
The Ursa Blizzard took a deep breath and blew out what was essentially natural liquid nitrogen at the girls. The group quickly scattered out of the way of the blast as everything within the path was completely frozen solid as if they had been converted into ice.
Elanor screamed in pain as she found her ankle frozen and whimpered from the cold burns on her flesh which her aura thankfully kept from being far worse. As she tried to move, the Ursa Blizzard sent out ice spikes to impale her but Juna flew in and grabbed Elanor before setting her in a tree far away from the snowstorm and then rejoining Camilla and Savannah who were dodging potshot attacks from the massive bear.
"Can't we electrocute it into submission?" Camilla asks.
"No, it can just absorb it somehow and use it against us and I'd rather not have to deal with electrical attacks with this damn cold already," The badger grunted. "Right now it's just playing with us so we need to come up with a plan quickly if we intend to take this thing down asap. I'd normally just charge in and go ham with my semblance but considering what type of Grimm this is, that's not gonna work."
"I guess the only thing we can do now is to try and attack it with what we got and go from there," Juna said, cocking her weapons.
"Agreed," Camilla intoned, drawing her sword. "Let the hunt begin."
The Ursa Blizzard roared at them in challenge, the girls giving battle cries of their own before charging.
[Cue BGM: Mario Hoops 3 on 3 Music - Sherbet Land [CD]]
Juna slid under as the Ursa Blizzard leaped up and raised her tonfas, [Jupiter Storm], and began opening fire under the ice bear's belly but it only seemed to annoy the Grimm than hurt it. This didn't deter the Liger Faunus as she got to her feet and continued to fire bullets at it while Savannah slammed her bone weapon, [Skullblight], into the ground before using it as a makeshift bat to launch the rubble at the Grimm. She may have been able to boost them with her Aura through [Skullblight] but even that was enough to slow the DIGB Class down.
"Don't you have a gun?" Juna asks.
"If I did have one I'd be using it dumbass!" Savannah barked back. "Even if I did I don't know how to use one of those stupid things, I always prefer a more direct approach but I can't because I'll be frozen solid instantly!"
"Yeah, we're getting you a damn gun after this is over," Juna deadpans.
The Ursa Blizzard roared before launching a volley of ice spikes from its back at the two girls who scrambled to dodge them before Camilla suddenly appeared before them, hand on her katana.
"What th-!"
Without a word, Camilla swiftly draws her blade which glows a bluish-green color before slashing forward, sending out an explosive wave of energy to intercept the ice spikes which create a steamy mist in its wake.
"Holy shit that was awesome!" Juna said in amazement.
"That didn't seem like a normal flying slash attack…that was your Semblance wasn't it?" Savannah asked.
"Indeed, that was my Semblance," Camilla said with a small proud smile.
Semblance Name: Bomber Lilly | Class: Manipulator | Info: Allows Camilla to create, control, and manipulate explosions she forms with her Aura and to an extent any explosions created/caused by others.
Camilla then dashed forward right up to the Ursa Blizzard's face, surprising it, before she began to rapidly pelt the beast with punches, each one giving one a small explosion behind them. The beastly bear was barely taking damage before swatting the samurai girl into the snow. Even spat on her just to add insult to injury.
*SLINK!*
Savannah slammed a tomahawk in Ursa Blizzard's skull, seemingly to hurt it only to get grabbed to get a face full of ice blast freezing her in ice before being thrown into a tree shattering the ice around her. It was only thanks to what was a tough body and dense Aura that she managed to survive such an attack that would kill a lesser man.
"Ok, I'm going to feel that in the morning," Savannah said coughing, before noticing Elanor above her in the tree. "What are you doing?"
Elanor shuffled through her deck looking for one card she knew could kill it, but she was nervous about it as she considered it was a near-suicide option.
"I got an idea on how to kill this thing, but we need to run once I do," Elanor said before putting it in the firing slot. "Don't question it, just run when I do!"
[Cues: Super Mario Galaxy OST - Speedy Comet in Orbit]
Out from her weapon launched a massive stick of dynamite that fell on top of the Ursa Blizzard and wedged itself between its back spikes. She began running, clearly looking scared of what she unleashed while the other three looked at the big stick as it began unraveling and they started turning tail. The Ursa Blizzard was both confused and annoyed and started to lumber after them.
"So, you think she's exaggerating?" Juna asked.
"No idea but I don't want to be around to find out!" Camila yelled. "Now run!"
"Is anyone hearing a loud hissing sound?" Savannah suddenly asks.
Before they could comment they noticed Elanor ahead of them, jumping down into a hole she created with one of her cards no doubt.
"Get in the hole!" Elanor shrieked as they jumped in.
[Music Ends]
*BOOOOOOOOOM!*
The explosion rocked the entire forest sending trees, rocks, and debris into the air and raining down on the people below. The professors watching everything were incredibly shocked at the outcome but Leonardo did compliment Elanor's quick thinking.
"Should we be concerned that a student basically has a mini-nuke in their arsenal?" Zed asked from the safety of the professors' viewing room.
"If it's not radioactive, then it's fair game," Miwa remarked. "Still, pretty sure huntsmen, especially ones in training, have a limit for how powerful their explosives can be. That alone took out a fifth of the forest!"
"I think we may need to go in there to rescue some students…" Bridgette said pointing to the emergency beacons for a few students being active.
"Right, let's get on that then," Zed sighed.
Back in the forest, the four dropped their combined shield of aura formed over their hole. A basic defensive technique, but a lifesaver for when it was needed. They slowly rose out of the hole to assess the damage…and Elanor audibly groaned at the damage.
"I hope the Headmaster won't be too mad at me for the mess I made to his forest," The dino girl whimpered.
"Forget the headmaster, how did you make a bomb that powerful?" Juna asked before seeing the Ursa Blizzard in the middle of the wreckage. "Holy shit…"
"How is it still alive after that blast?!" Savannah exclaimed in disbelief.
The bear's body was horribly burnt with the skeleton of its back exposed still burning. It was crawling on its arms as its legs were blown apart. Its skin was melting and it looked like it was hanging by a thread but then it stopped, staring the four girls in the eyes…before beginning to bloat.
"SHIT! Everyone stay down!"Camila cursed, immediately knowing what the Grimm was doing, and began punching the ground to make a deeper hole.
*BOOOOOOOOOM!*
The forest was rocked by another explosion, one of ice that froze most of the scorched land and once again made it rain debris.
"My leg!" One poor student screamed only for new derbies to crush on his other leg. "OH COME THE FUCK ON!"
His partner was frozen solid…his other one was basically a burning corpse but was somehow still alive albeit barely and the fourth was standing but impaled with various debris. Somehow that one was still alive and walking, having a sour look on his face.
"When I find the piece of shit who pulled this stunt, I'm going to tear them a new asshole for every hole I have. After I wake up…"
WHUMP! Somehow that person still had Aura despite the impalements.
Konner and his team had seen the explosions from a distance, thankfully not near the blast zone. They were wondering who had that kind of firepower in their arsenal to cause something like that and decided to head down to investigate and make sure no one had accidentally gotten killed.
"Gnarly," Giovanni said, seeing some of the injured.
"Indeed," Zed said, appearing from the shadows.
He was suddenly blasted into a tree via a wind blast from Konner who looked at the former bandit blankly.
"Payback bitch," The hybrid drawled mockingly, Betty Swoops laughing on his shoulder.
"Wasted energy, kid," Zed said, dusting himself off. "A punch would have been more effective."
"I hate that you have a point…but screw you and your semblance," Konner said with a pout.
"Don't hate the players, hate the games we play," Zed said, adjusting his hat. "Seems we have a mad bomber around. Personally, I would congratulate them after I whack them over the-"
Then he noticed Seraphinite and paused. For a moment, he briefly saw the face of his kid brother but he shook it off before Seraphinite could notice him staring.
"Zed of the Dead, right?" Seraphinite asked. "Ziyad was your brother…and my father."
For once, the ghostly professor looked completely lost.
"He's dead, isn't he?" Zed asked as she nodded. "I'm going to need a fucking drink after this…and I may as well take you along for that."
Seraphinite nodded before Zed disappeared again and the four teens pressed on towards the blast zone. The moment they got close, Jase Monroe came out from the shadows as well.
"I am glad you came to assist in helping your fellow students," Jase said. "That will be rewarded well. It reflects on your strength of character."
The four teen's never stated that they were simply the closest team to get there and decided not to question it. The ashes of the Ursa Blizzard flew in from the wind, something Giovanni breathed in only to cough.
"Ugh, it's too damn smokey and lukewarm!" Gio said as he fanned his face.
CRUNCH!
They looked down to see a hole with a frozen layer on top of it with cracks. Konner and Megumi moved in to see some people were trapped in the hole. Konner speared his hand into the ice to lift it up with a bit of effort before tossing it aside while Megumi helped the ones that were trapped out of the hole.
"We're alive!" Elanor said, stumbling before falling to her knees.
"If the teachers are here…how many were…" Camila said.
"All of them were injured…some maimed pretty badly. You're the only team without any major injury." Jase said glaring at them. "And seeing you're in a hole that was clearly dug near the blast zone. One of you is the little bombmaker who torched the woods or all four of you combined."
"We're in deep shit, aren't we?" Juna asks sheepishly.
"Normally, you would. But seeing the remains of a DIGB Class and the nearest team injured was rather far away, you're only getting a reprimand, several hours of community service, and you'll be paying for medical bills. A quarter of the bill for each of you." Jase said as Elanor wanted to speak up only for Camila to stop her.
"That's acceptable. We weren't careful enough…we were in a situation where we had to use last resort." Camila said.
"I understand that considering DIGBs aren't even supposed to be in the woods. Meaning we'll have to abruptly end initiation. Consider yourself lucky…Lionheart wants to keep you four around. He wasn't going to let someone who can make bombs of that level just leave." Jase said as Trexler was arriving with transport.
"Wait, what are we supposed to do for the rest of the test then? We were supposed to rough it out here for three days," Megumi asks in confusion.
"Don't worry, we will look through the footage gathered. I can say that Braveheart has already made picks on who to keep." Trexler said. "Now come…it's unwise to be breathing this scorched air for long."
As they boarded the transport, Zed showed back up again.
"The injured have all been loaded up…and it's telling that something's off. I know for a fact that an Ice DIGB Class shouldn't be in this neck of the world," Zed said seriously. "Mistral's bizarre events be damned."
"That will be investigated, but let's focus on getting the students out," Trexler said, getting on the transport for liftoff.
The transport took off, but if anyone stayed any longer they would have noticed someone…or something within the shadows of trees watching them before letting out a soft ghostly chuckle and then slowly vanishing out of existence.
"Soon…Xanfire…soon."

[Location: Haven Academy, Auditorium | Date: Wednesday, Aug 27 | Time: 3:35 PM]
The hunter hopefuls found themselves back inside the school's auditorium, the number of people now visibly smaller due to initiates either not making the cut or still in the infirmary recovering from injuries. Konner, Seraphinite, Megumi, and Giovanni were sitting further in the back talking with Elanor, Camilla, and Juna about what happened in the forest, while Savannah was standing off to the side a bit but still listening.
"So you were the one that caused that explosion?" Giovanni asked the dino girl skeptically. "No offense but you don't look like the type that would carry shittons of TNT around for a rainy day."
"Well it was mostly my cards doing," Elanor shyly said, holding up Loaded Deck. "I have various skills and abilities I can call upon from it whenever I need it and Black Club #7: Tiny Tosser was the one I used."
"Tiny Tosser?" Megumi said. "Know what? I don't even want to know why it's called that."
"If it were any bigger…half the forest would be gone," Elanor said to the muted horror of the group. "I wish I had the time to finish the adjuster for [Loaded Deck]. I could have controlled the scale for it."
"As scary as that is it's still pretty cool Elanor," Konner reassured, making the dino girl blush at the hybrid's praise. "At least y'all didn't have to deal with a giant centipede that shoots boiling water at you, that thing was a pain to fight."
"You guys fought a Broilapede?" Savannah spoke up, earning nods from Konner and his group. "Not bad for doing it as a team, but if you really want to get stronger try fighting one solo…it's pretty easy when you know how to do it."
"And how many have you killed solo?" Seraphinite snarked.
"Five, two of them I had to fight at once," The badger girl bluntly stated, making everyone look at her in shock.
"...girl where the hell are you from exactly?" Juna asked.
Savannah merely gave a fanged grin before chuckling, unnerving some of them a bit. At that moment, Leonardo returned back on the stage and began to speak to the students, gaining everyone's attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I want to say how wowed I am at some of your performances. However, I had to end the initiation much shorter due to the fact that several powerful Grimm that were not meant to be in the {Hard Knock Forest} started to appear. A few examples are a Broilapede and Ice DIGB Class as well as a few other species," Leonardo explained, making worried whispers break out amongst the students. "Fear not, the rest of the staff and myself are currently investigating the matter as we speak. For now, let's move on to the reason you're all here, it's time to assign your teams."
This did make the students excited as Leonardo began to call up students to form their teams. The headmaster gave words of encouragement to the newly assembled teams before sending them back to their seats. It was now down to the wire as there were only twenty students left, Konner and friends among those twenty.
"Now would Sun Wukong, Scarlet David, Sage Ayana, and Neptune Vasilias please step up," Leonardo called.
It was an all-boy team consisting of a blonde monkey Faunus with an open shirt showing off his abs, a redhead boy that looked a bit like a pirate, a tall dark-skinned boy with Roman numeral tattoos around his neck, and a blue-haired boy with a cool disposition about him.
"You boys did very well in combat against the Grimm, you each have your own unique skills and it seems that two of you can work well together already. I hope that will pass on to your other teammates," The headmaster said warmly. "From this day forth you'll be known as Team SSSN led by...Sun Wukong! May your bright personalities uplift those that are the darkest of places."
The boys said their thanks to the headmaster while congratulating their Faunus friend on being the leader, before returning to their seats as the audience clapped.
"Next up, Arslan Altan, Bolin Hori, Reese Chloris, and Nadir Shiko please step up," Leonardo called.
Konner, Megumi, Seraphinite, and Giovanni immediately recognized the four initiates they met upon arrival the day prior.
"You four can work pretty decently together but it seems that one of you is rather reluctant to be here. I won't pry into your personal life but I hope you come to enjoy your time in my school," Braveheart said, making Nadir rub the back of his head as he knew he was talking about him. "Now, from this day forth you will be known as Team ABRN led by...Arslan Altan! May you lead your pride to victory young lioness."
Arslan blushed a bit at the older lion's praise before nodding as she and her team left the stage to return to their seats.
"Now, would Whitley Schnee, Ilia Amitola, Shae Gooseberry, and Bleiss Schnee, please step up," Leonardo called as Konner nearly fell off the seat at the second name called.
'Ilia!? She's here at Haven?' The hybrid mentally exclaimed.
Sure enough, the chameleon Faunus walked up to the stage with his cousins and another girl that had a very...unique look to her.
This Shae girl stood at 6ft 2in with pale skin, yellowish-green hair in a long yet wavy style reaching past her waist, and cool brown eyes. Her attire is a pitch-black catsuit that hugged her form and showed off her body's muscled physique, matching boots and gloves, and the top unzipped to show off her bountiful cleavage. She also wears a silver utility belt with her emblem, a black fist surrounded by green plasma energy fire, on the buckle, and a pair of bright green semi-rimless sunglasses.
She also seemed to stand near Ilia a bit more closely and he noticed the Faunus girl was trying hard not to have her entire body go full atomic, does that mean she and this Shae girl were a couple?
'I'll have to talk to her later, it would be nice to know what's been going on back home in Menagerie,' Konner thought sadly before snapping back as Braveheart gave the group their team name.
"...from this day forth you four will be known as Team SSSI led by...Whitley Schnee! May you be the spice to everyone's life here in Haven."
This earns chuckles from the audience at the Headmaster's joke before the newly formed team stepped off the stage to their seats.
"Next up, Camilla Van, Juna Pride, Savannah Syena, and Elanor Tangerine."
The four girls walked up to the stage, Eleanor was visibly nervous at being stared at by so many people but she powered through it for the sake of her new teammates.
"You four definitely have the potential to be great Huntresses but in the future, refrain from using explosives of such high caliber unless you're sure there won't be any collateral damage," Leonardo chuckled while Elanor looked like she wanted to crawl into a hole and die. "Regardless, from this day forth you ladies will be known as Team CPSE led by...Camilla Van! Let's hope you all remember that cooler heads will always prevail in any given situation."
The applause was given out as the four girls made their way off stage, Elanor trying to look as small as possible at the attention on her.
"That girl has some serious confidence issues," Seraphinite bluntly stated. "She better get herself together or else it'll get herself or others killed."
"Cold as ever Sera...but you aren't wrong about what you said, let's hope her team can help her out in that department," Giovanni mused.
They quieted up as Leonardo loudly cleared his throat to calm everyone down.
"Last but not least...would Konner Xandrite, Hǎibào Seraphinite, Giovanni Mugue, and Megumi Saisei please step up to the stage."
The four made their way up, Megumi noticed that a few other students glared at her when they heard her last name but she didn't care. She made it into Haven and that was all that mattered to her, she'd deal with anyone that didn't like her being here later.
Soon the four teens stood on the stage with the Headmaster as he gave his speech.
"You four kids have done well in initiation, despite one of you being MIA for the beginning of it, you all showed you not only had the skill and drive to become hunters but also the mind to pick and choose your battles wisely against a tougher foe while also standing your ground when you had no choice," Leonardo said, a hint of pride of his voice. "From this day forth you four will be known as Team KHGM led by...Konner Xandrite! May you four soar to new heights and beyond in your time here."
There were cheers for them, but Konner was simply relieved the roughest part of it was over. While he was disappointed he couldn't rough it in the woods he was grateful it ended early, he had a lot on his mind…and he was hoping to talk to a particular space owl again.
'The question is how do I talk to her again? It's not like she'll know I want to talk to her,' The hybrid thought but was pulled out of his musings by Giovanni who shook his shoulder. "What?"
"You good? The Headmaster gave us the go-ahead to get settled into our new dorm," The older boy said. "The girls have already gone ahead of us."
"Oh right…sorry, let's get going then," Konner apologized.
The two boys then head off after their teammates. Konner may have a lot on his mind but it doesn't keep him from being giddy about one simple fact…he was now a hunter-in-training, leader of his own team to boot!
'Maybe staying here is gonna be interesting, I can feel it!' The hybrid thought with agrin.
Little did he know that his stay at Haven was going to be a lot more than just interesting.

[Location: Haven Academy, Headmaster's Office | Date: Wednesday, Aug 27 | Time: 10:40 PM]
It was late, pretty much all of the new first years have now gone to bed, with the current small staff that watched initiation take place having gone home as well. The only one still awake now was Braveheart as he was going over some last-minute paperwork that needed to be done today regarding the new students as well as some other mundane things for the school.
"And…done!" The veteran hunter cheered, slamming his pen down. "Finally! I swear that paperwork is the most boring thing about this job…but now it's time to get down to business."
After a quick stretch, Leonardo activated a few buttons on his desk and immediately a holographic projector activated before him and he dialed up three separate numbers at once. Almost immediately, the faces of Professor Ozpin, General Ironwood, and Professor Theodore appeared before him.
"Leo? Well, this is a surprise, you usually don't call until your initiations are over," Ironwood mused.
"That's the thing, James, initiation for my new 1st year students is already over," Leonardo said, catching all three men off guard a bit. "Let me explain what happened…"
He did and the three professors were rather surprised to hear this.
"If this student could make a bomb powerful enough to torch a chunk of the forest…is it possible we could commission her services?" Ozpin asked.
Ironwood agreed, citing the usefulness and it would give the student something to do and keep them out of trouble. Leonardo thought about it and had an idea.
"I'll ask her. She does need cash to make up for several students' hospital bills." Leonardo said.
"We can use the bombs to torch the Grimmlands. Repeatedly damaging the place to leave Salem constantly having to rebuild." Ironwood said thoughtfully.
"If she can produce them," Ozpin warned. "I do not want to overwork a student to be pumping out bombs."
"I'm surprised you're saying that, Ozpin." Leonardo snarked.
"I have standards. In this chess game, I play…I have to keep them to remind me of what I'm fighting for. What we are fighting for. Breaking this stalemate and finishing the fight once and for all." Ozpin said sternly. "Braveheart, you of all people know this. That's why I called for a neutral party with Tsukino."
Leonardo felt like he was being talked down to, but he could not protest Ozpin's point as he knew he was right.
"Let's get back on track here, Leon, you said that both a Broilapede and an Ursa Blizzard showed up during your initiation?" Theodore asks and Leonardo nods. "How the hell did two rare Grimm sneak into your backyard without you or anyone on your staff noticing?"
"That's what I wanted to talk to you all about Giles, I think something or someone brought those Grimm into the {Hard Knock Forest} under my nose and in turn brought other stronger Grimm variants that my students had to take down," Leonardo stated seriously.
"You think Salem was the one responsible for it?" Ironwood asks.
"Wouldn't she have gone after Ozpin then? No offense to you, old friend, but she's known to gun for you more than any of us due to your history," Theodore pointed out.
"None taken. But you're right she would have gunned for me first, especially considering she's been quiet for the past couple of decades," Ozpin mused.
"Regardless, I suggest that you all keep an eye out during your initiations for weird Grimm sightings. If I find any more information regarding this on my end I'll let you all know, good night gentlemen."
"One last thing, do send me that student's file. I want her in consideration for a few projects." Ozpin noted.
"I would like that as well," Ironwood remarked.
"Same here," Theodore said.
Goodbyes were given as the feed was cut and Leonardo gave a lion-like yawn.
"Elanor, it seems you're already becoming popular," Leonardo said before calling it a night.
TO BE CONTINUED…
Author's Note: Originally I did want to have the initiation be three days long, but yoshi3000 convinced me that would have dragged out this first season way too long so we cut it down abruptly due to the Broilapede and the Ursa Blizzard. Speaking of Grimm, what did you guys think about some of the new Grimm species I conjured up? I plan to be adding more of my own unique Grimm that I think will be interesting to see in battle and species that should have been in the show that just make sense…also expect some more joke Grimm species in the future . Anyway, this sarc is almost over so I'm gonna get back to it. I even put in the team name meanings for KHGM, SSSI, and CPSE below. Hope you all stay tuned in and enjoy, catch ya later!
A/N2: One more thing, starting the next chapter I'll be formatting the date/time and location bit a bit so don't be surprised when you see it.

[SSSI = Spice: "Make more interesting or exciting."]
