A/N Here we are again folks with another chapter for you all to enjoy. The usual thanks are in order for my reviewers and my alerters. Thank you all so much for your support! But so here's ch 14 for all of you.
Ch 14 Confrontation
"Kovu wait up!" Jasiri called as she tried to catch up with her golden brown friend. Kovu stopped and waited for Jasiri to catch up. "Where are we going anyways?" the rusty brown cub asked after she had caught her breath.
"To the Grasslands," Kovu informed his friend. "We're gonna confront Kopa and his no good sister."
"But why?" Jasiri asked. "What's going on Kovu?"
"We have to go," Kovu said as he began to walk again.
"No!" Jasiri cried out, surprising Kovu. "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what the heck is going on!"
"Vitani said she remembered someone pushing her and Nuka down the side of the gorge," Kovu began.
"Yeah no duh," Jasiri said, rolling her brown eyes. "I was there Kovu. I heard her say that."
"Well I have a really good feeling I know who it was that pushed them," Kovu informed his friend. "The only other creatures with us that day were Kion and Kopa and they were walking directly behind Vitani and Nuka."
"So it had to be them that pushed Nuka and Vitani!" Jasiri finished, her eyes widening in horror.
"Exactly," Kovu said with a slight growl, his green eyes darkening.
"Those no good creeps!" Jasiri shouted. "They'll pay for this!" Without waiting for a response Jasiri ran towards the Grasslands.
"Hey!" Kovu cried out, running after Jasiri. "Wait for me!"

A few minutes later Kovu and Jasiri had reached the Grasslands where they saw Kopa, Kiara, and their friends waiting. "You!" Jasiri growled, running over and tackling Kopa to the ground. "You're going to die for what you did you creep!" the rusty brown cub snarled, her face inches away from Kopa's. Kopa gulped in fear and looked at Jasiri with wide blue eyes.
"Hey!" Kiara cried out, pushing Jasiri off her brother. "Get off my brother!"
"You're no better!" Jasiri cried out, glaring at Kiara. "If you weren't so much bigger than me I'd attack you too!"
"Hey just calm down Jasiri," Kovu said, getting in front of his furious friend.
"No I won't calm down!" Jasiri shouted. "They're responsible for Vitani and Nuka almost dying!"
"Wh...what are you talking about?" Kopa stammered nervously.
"We had nothing to do with that!" Nyeusi cried out.
"Yeah you didn't!" Jasiri cried out, getting right in Nyeusi's face, causing the black coated cub to back up a step, her brown eyes wide.
"Hey don't you get in my sister's face!" Chafu shouted, getting between Jasiri and Nyeusi, his hazel eyes blazing.
"Hey back off her!" Kovu shouted, shoving Chafu causing the grey coated cub to stumble backwards.
"Whoa there just stop!" Kopa shouted, causing everyone to stop. "Calm down everyone! Now would someone please tell me what the heck is going on?"
"Yeah why would you say we're responsible for Nuka and Vitani's accident?" Safara asked, trying not to show how nervous she was. The dark tan cub knew full well that Kion and Kopa had been the ones that pushed Vitani and Nuka down the side of the gorge. They had confirmed that to her right after it happened.
"Like I told her," Jasiri said, nodding towards Nyeusi, who was staring with wide brown eyes. "You guys had nothin' to do with that. It was him!" Jasiri turned sharply towards Kopa when she said this part. Kopa's blue eyes went wide with surprise when he heard the rusty brown cub's words. "You and your lousy twin pushed Vitani and Nuka down the side of the gorge. You two are just as psycho as your mother!"
"No!" Kopa cried out. "Me and Kion would never do anything like that! We're nothing like our mother!"
"Then how come Vitani remembers you doing that huh?" Jasiri demanded, her voice coming out a growl. "Answer me that Kopa!"
"Hold on there Jasiri," Kovu said, stepping in front of his furious friend. "Vitani said she remembered someone pushing her and Nuka down the side of the gorge. She said she didn't remember who it was."
"But Kovu you said so yourself," Jasiri said. "The only other creatures that were with us were Kopa and Kion. So it had to be them!"
"Well it isn't true!" Kopa cried out, causing Kovu and Jasiri to look over at him. "We didn't push them I sware we didn't. But I can see how Vitani might think we did."
"Go on," Kovu said, narrowing his light green eyes at Kopa.
"We...we tripped," Kopa said, thinking of a lie quickly. "Well at least I did. I tripped and when I tried to balance myself I accidently bumped Kion and we both stumbled into Vitani and Nuka."
"If that's what really happened then why the heck didn't you say anything before?" Kovu demanded.
"Yeah and why did you and Kion take off afterwards?" Jasiri demanded. Chafu, Nyeusi and Safara were just staring with wide eyes, all three of them too shocked and stunned to say anything.
"I...I was scared," Kopa said, looking down at the ground. "I mean I am the son of Nala. And given how twisted Kion is getting of course you guys would just assume the worst of us. I know I should have said something before and I'm sorry. I really am. I wish I could go back and change how things went down that day. I really do. But I can't." By now Kopa's voice was shaking and the tears were going down his face. Kiara nuzzled her brother in an effort to comfort him. While this was happening Jasiri motioned for Kovu to follow her so they could talk out of ear shot.
"You're not seriously buying this are you Kovu?" Jasiri asked, looking at her golden brown friend.
"I...I don't know," Kovu said. "I mean it makes sense what Kopa is saying. And he seams pretty upset."
"Yeah that could be an act you know," Jasiri said, rolling her brown eyes.
"I can tell when someone is fake crying," Kovu declared. "And I don't think he was fake crying."
"So we're giving them yet another chance?" Jasiri asked with a sigh.
"Yeah," Kovu said with a nod. "We are." Without another word Kovu walked back over to the group with Jasiri right behind him.
TLKTLKTLK
While Kovu and Jasiri were talking Kiara and Kopa were talking as well. "Nice job little brother," Kiara whispered. "They totally bought your act."
"I'm not acting Kiara," Kopa said, pulling away from his sister. "I really do regret my role in Vitani and Nuka getting hurt. I wish I never helped Kion push them down the side of the gorge."
"So you really did do it?!" Nyeusi cried out, her dark brown eyes wide.
"Shhh keep your voice down," Kopa hissed, glaring at the black coated cub.
"Why are you so surprised Nyeusi?" Safara asked. "You know that Nala has been training Kion to take down Simba. Heck you and Chafu have been training with him. Why wouldn't you think Nala would send Kion to hurt his kids?"
"Yeah that is pretty dumb there Ny," Chafu said with a laugh.
"Shut up Chafu!" Nyeusi growled, glaring at her grey coated older brother.
"Make me Nyeusi!" Chafu cried out, glaring right back at his five month old sister.
"Shut up you guys," Kiara hissed. "They're coming back." With that the group was silent as Kovu and Jasiri approached them.
"Aright you guys have one more chance," Jasiri said.
"But if any of you do anything suspicious then we're out," Kovu put in. "And we'll be telling King Simba about this. Got it?"
"Yes," the group said together.
"Good," Kovu said. "Now lets..." But before he could continue they heard rustling in the bushes. The group all gasped as a figure emerged from the bushes.
"What are you doing here?!" Kopa cried out.
