Ch 21 A Huge Problem

Kion blinked in surprise at Kovu's words, shocked at what Kovu had just said. After a minute he finally found his words.

"You can't be the son of Nala," Kion said.

"I'm not Nala's son," Kovu said. "But I am Scar's blood son. That's why I want to help you, Kopa and Kiara. Because you're my siblings. You're my family and family helps each other no matter what."

"You...you'd really do that?" Kion said, his voice coming out very soft. Kovu nodded and Kion looked at Kiara and Kopa, both of whom nodded and had smiles on their faces. Then he turned back towards Kovu. "Alright," the brown coated cub said. "I'm willing to listen."

"Thank you Kion," Kovu said with a smile. But before the light brown cub could continue suddenly Moto, Kijana and Chana came running towards the group.

"Guys!" Moto cried out, panting for breath. "There's trouble!"

"What kind of trouble?" Nuka asked, dreading the answer. But before Moto could respond a thunderous roar echoed through the air. Suddenly Simba lept through the air and landed between the Pride Land cub and the Outland cubs.

"Uh oh," Kovu whispered as he saw Zira, Asha and the other lionesses from Simba's Pride come forward.

"Oh no," Kopa whispered, his blue eyes huge.

"You!" Simba growled, glaring at Kopa, Kion and Kiara. "You dare come into my lands and threaten my children and their friends?!"

"We...we weren't threatening them," Kopa stammered. But Simba let out a furious roar that quickly made Kopa go silent. But to his surprise another thunderous roar echoed through the air as Nala lept in front of her children with Tama and Sharka right behind her.

"Nala," Simba growled, glaring at Nala.

"Simba," Nala growled back, baring her teeth and extending her claws.

"You've got a Hell of a lot of nerve showing your face in the Pridelands!" Zira snarled, standing beside Simba.

"And you and your mate got a Hell of a lot of never threatening my children!" Nala growled.

"Your children trespassed in my lands and threatened my children!" Simba snarled

"King Simba they weren't..." Kovu began. But Asha put her paw on her son's shoulder and shook her head and mouthed 'not now'. Kovu started to say something but he quickly changed his mind and instead he just silently watched the scene unfold.

"If my children were threatening your brats then they deserved it!" Nala snarled.

"I should kill you right now you bitch!" Simba roared. "The only reason I won't is because my children and their friends are unharmed and I don't want them to see bloodshed! But I promise you right now Nala if I so much as smell them or you in my lands I won't be so nice!" Without waiting for a response Simba picked up Nuka while Zira picked up Vitani. Asha and Cala motioned for Kovu and Jasiri to follow as they waked away.

"This isn't over Simba," Nala growled as she roughly picked up Kion while Tama picked up Safara and Sharka picked up Nyeusi and walked back into the Outlands with a sullen and terrified Chafu, Kopa and Kiara right behind them

A little while later Nala and the other were back in the Outlands and Nala was furious to say the least. "What the Hell were you doing in the Pride Lands?!" the creamy lioness snarled, striking her children in their faces, sending them sprawling across the ground. "You miserable little shits are going to be sorry you ever disobeyed me!" Nala snarled as she once again hit her children.

"No!" Safara cried out as she, Chafu and Nyeusi ran to help their friends.

"Leave them alone!" Chafu cried out.

"Safara no!" Tama cried out as she and Sharka ran to stop their children before they got hurt or worse. But to their surprise they didn't need to help their children because Kiara and Chafu had some success and they had managed to knock Nala to the ground. The creamy lioness hit her head on the ground and was knocked out cold. The group all stood their in stunned silence, their eyes wide. The suddenly Sharka pushed Chafu and Kiara slightly, startling the eleven month old cubs.

"Run!" the grey lioness hissed. "Run before Nala wakes."

"Run where Mom?" Chafu asked.

"Anywhere that's not here," Sharka declared. Then she turned towards the other cubs and said, "If I were all of you I'd run too. Don't come back until tomorrow. That way Nala will have cooled down some."

"Yeah I seriously doubt that she'll cool down," Kiara muttered as she and her brothers and friends took off towards the Grasslands border. Moments after the cubs were gone Tama and Sharka heard the groans of Nala waking up.

"Where the Hell is that no good piece of shit daughter of mine?!" Nala thundered, her blue eyes flashing with rage. "I'm going to kill her for going against me!"

"Nala don't you think you're being a bit irrational?" Sharka asked.

"Don't you dare speak to me like that Sharka!" Nala roared, striking the grey lioness in her face. "When I find her and your son I'm going to kill both of them!"

"Like Hell you are!" Sharka snarled, getting to her feet and baring her teeth at Nala. "There's no way I'd ever let you harm my child!"

"Like you can ever stop me!" Nala snarled, getting right in Sharka's face.

"My lady" another one of Nala's followers cried out, running up to the group with the rest of Nala's followers. "We're awaiting your orders."

"My traitor daughter and Sharka's traitor son are no longer welcome here!" Nala declared. "If either one of them dares to show their faces here they are to be killed on the spot!"

"And what of your sons?" Tama asked. Nala glared at Tama but said nothing. Instead she turned towards her followers.

"Now is the time we attack," the deranged creamy lioness declared. "Simba and his Pride will be taken completely off guard." The other lioness all voiced their agreement and Tama set off to gather Nala's followers while the others prepared for their upcoming attack.

Meanwhile Kiara, Kopa, Kion and their friends had heard Nala's plans for an attack on Simba's Pride. "We've got to warn King Simba!" Kopa cried out, his blue eyes wide with fear.

"Yeah right Kop'," Nyeusi said, rolling her brown eyes. "King Simba will rip us apart."

"Well we have to try Ny," Kopa exclaimed. "And its not like we can go back with Mother being in a murderous mood."

"I don't think I can ever go back," Kiara whispered, sinking to the ground. "Not after what I did. Mother'll kill me for sure."

"She'll probably kill me too," Chafu piped up. "So there's no way I can go back either."

"Which is all the more reason we need to warn King Simba what Mother is going to do!" Kopa cried out. "King Simba will let us stay if we help him and prove that we're nothing like Mother."

"I'm in," Kiara chimed in, looking at Chafu, who nodded in agreement.

"You in Ny?" Chafu asked, looking at his younger sister.

"I don't know Cha'," Nyeusi said. "I don't want to betray Mom. I don't want her to get hurt."

"Yeah I don't want my Mom getting hurt either," Safara chimed in.

"They won't get hurt if we can stop the fight," Kopa pointed out. "And once Mother is defeated your Moms will realize that we did the right thing. Trust me they won't be angry or hurt."

"Well alright then," Safara said, looking at Nyeusi, who nodded. "We're in."

"You in Ky?" Kopa asked, looking at his twin, who had a confused look on his face. Kion looked at his brother then at his friends. Then he opened his mouth to respond.
