Hello all! Thanks for the reviews. I love hearing back from you! This is a short one today but it's just so I can have a leaping point to introduce more Cullens into the pot.

Hermione woke up alone the next morning. While her love was a vampire so his bedside was and always would be chilled, it was made up as if he hadn't come to bed at all that night. Hermione's chest tightened that the thought. They had both realized the fight wasn't supposed to be blown up into something so ugly. However, Hermione felt homesick for one of the few times she could count on her hand since her adventure began. She was alone from Harry and Ron, while her boys were far from perfect and everyone had those regrets to bare, she missed them. She wanted to feel welcome in her own home again.

Hermione counted the months she had been at the house. It had been four months since she knocked on the door to be barely greeted by the new vampire. She felt with a heavy heart as she rose to get dressed. Occlumency allowed her to avoid Edward from hearing her dark thoughts. She smiled when she thought of her children, the beauty and the music, both beautiful and resilient if not moody at times. She loved them maternally as much as Molly loved all her children, or Narrissia loved Draco. They weren't her siblings like Harry and Ron but it was more care of looking after them. She felt their mutual feelings of familial towards her. It broke her heart to think that Esme was trying to be their mother. It wasn't as if she didn't see the roll of the eyes Edward and Rosaline did when Esme would smother them, but she knew it was difficult at best.

Hermione walked downstairs, to go into the kitchen for some tea. She had to do it manually because Esme didn't know about her being a witch. So she walked down the hall, lost in her own thoughts. Her glide was perfected by war so it was practically silent if it wasn't for those vampire's ears. The children looked up and smiled at their mother. "Good morning mum!" They spoke cheerfully and were grinning ear to ear, almost like George and Fred did with a big prank.

Hermione raised an eyebrow but said hello, and went to put on the pot. As she turned to her left to get the stovetop going she saw a glimpse of Esme retreating. "Ah. The kids had seen Esme and decided to emphasize the mom comment." Hermione had thought. She then addressed their plan out loud. "Now Rosaline and Edward, I expected a bit more manners out of you. You be nice to Esme, she has been nothing but kind to you too so I expect you to treat her with respect. I saw that little trick you did and it isn't very nice." Although secretly Hermione was slightly pleased even if she hardly admitted it because it wasn't a very nice gesture. Edward looked abash but Rosaline looked more determined. "You are our mother for all purposes so we just wish to greet you in the morning...Mum." Rosaline emphasized mum again after a tiny pause. Hermione could only sigh and continue making her tea.

"Where is your father?" Hermione asked.

"Oh he was out somewhere, he didn't say where he was going. Just that he wanted to take a morning stroll." Edward answered with an almost frown on his face.

"Oh." Hermione's response didn't sound right aloud or even in her own head. She felt the familiar tug of the time turner potion. She quickly said "Give my love to your father. I will see you at some point in time."

Edward and Rosaline nodded solemnly and promised they would. But Hermione didn't even hear their promises as she rushed out the door before she vanished. She didn't want Esme to see her disappear into thin air. And with that, she was gone.

Esme hadn't seen her leave but she heard the door slam and smiled. She was hoping to relocate the Cullens before Hermione even had a chance to say goodbye to Carlisle in hoping that the tension from last night would build even more. Brochures of a tiny little town named Forks, Washington were spread on her desk.
