Y'all I realize that I didn't add the Volturi isn't in the picture of this story. Especially since Carlisle lived with them for a hot minute. As creative license, we are going to acknowledge that having Carlisle during the time period wouldn't be when Hermione met him due to him not completely being Carlisle at this time. He had to go through his own transformation and adding a love life when he only lived with vampires would have made it more difficult.

Also, I hear you, Esme will get the ax. Normally she is a much nicer character but I think that I had to make her the bad guy for this love story to exist. Thanks again for the reviews, I do read them. It definitely brightens my day from the mundane.

Hermione landed once again in a forest. She noticed her wardrobe hadn't changed at all in terms of style, indicating she hadn't jumped too far into the future. Whipping out her wand she used the location spell. It waved her through trees and towards the unknown. Her Gryffindor bravery shown through as she walked through the bush. Inwardly thinking how as much as she detests flying, it would be ten times easier to transport herself instead of these heels. As this thought came across her mind, Hermione laughed aloud. She looked through her purse to see if there was an expansion spell and she found a pair of sneakers. She had been trudging through the forest for ten minutes before thinking about that. She threw the heels into her purse and sighed a great relief when she got her sneakers on.

While she did this, she noticed a wolf watching her through the woods. She raised her eyebrow at him. He was larger than the average wolf with amber eyes. Racking her brain she thought about it that was a werewolf. She tensed with fear for a second. Then walked as fast as she would without spooking the wolf, her mind transported to the night with Professor Remus. Subconsciously she looked at the sky and saw it was cloudy out but clearly still grey. Once she was far enough from the wolf that he didn't have visuals on her anymore she apparition.

Suddenly she was on a lawn, with a beautiful house sprawled across. She was confused because this was not the house she had grown to know. Hermione looked around when she saw a moving truck show up. Out came her children descending from the truck like gods and goddesses. She smiled widely and opened her arms. The children had smelled her as they were coming up from the winding road, as they hurried to hug their mother. "Welcome to Forks Washington" Emmet had crowded. Hermione raised her eyebrow just a bit but smiled back all the same. Carlisle had chosen to move.

"If you had waited just a few more minutes to pop up, you wouldn't have to help unpack the truck." Edward teased. Emmet knew all about her popping up and being a witch because Rosaline had told him everything one day when they were out hunting alone.

Hermione just laughed and asked where his father was.

"He is with Esme picking up our rental cars before we go purchase then." Rosaline filled her in.

Hermione tried to take the bite out of her voice when she replied that that was nice of their father. Instead, she focused on more important tasks. She said that she had no desire to unload a truck just this second and flicked her wand while the boxes began floating out. Emmet who had only seen magic a couple of times when Esme wasn't in the house stared in awe. The rest of the children also watched but that was more because they still thought it was cool. Once all the boxes were unloaded Hermione's wand flicked once again and the stuff was outside of the boxes. She visualized the room and endlessly made the stuff float to the respective rooms. "All unpacked loves." Hermione cheekily grinned.
"Now what are you all going to do here? It was easier to blend into Chicago based on the mass of people." Hermione inquired.

They all shrugged their shoulders as if they hadn't really thought about it. Knowing the family they really hadn't. Trivial stuff was rarely thought about before it had to be done. That was Hermione's department.

"What about schooling? You should probably keep up with the lingo and knowledge. I know that we were able to break Rosaline's proper manners fit for a queen after a couple of decades." Hermione teased. Rosaline scowled at her jab, but then shook her head and grinned. She knew it was true.

"Hermione, I don't want to go to school. I am too old." Emmet whined a little. With the extra sound of whining Hermione laughed and said "Emmet my love, you are the first people I would sign up for schooling. But I will talk to your father to see what shall be done with you."

Hermione thought back to the forest and she cautioned the Cullens about what she saw in the woods. "There is a werewolf here, and most werewolves have a pack, so be careful what you hunt, in fact, try to stay away from wolves in general just to be safe. We can't have them transform back and have their necks look Dracula's chew toy."

The children wanted to protest their eating habits as they were much more graceful than that, but they knew the severity of the situation. Hermione had introduced other magical creatures to Rosaline, Edward, and Carlisle before Esme had come into the family. So they shared their knowledge with Emmet earlier on.

With the house unpacked Hermione suggested going to go find a place to explore and so she could eat.

The family agreed and started walking to the truck when Carlisle and Esme pulled up. Each driving a different car. Hermione walked up to the driver's side and kissed Carlisle. He grinned seeing her even if for him it had been a relatively shorter time than he normally had to wait.

"We are going to go look around the town plus I am a bit hungry so I'm going to try and find a place that serves tea...not like it is proper tea but it will do"

"That's such a shame, Hermione, considering Carlisle and I will have to unpack and set up the house." Esme butted in from the other car.

"Oh, that's already been done. Everything is where it is supposed to be." Hermione answered sweetly.

Esme was taken aback but stayed fuming in silence.

Carlisle had given Hermione a look. "I'd love to go with you my dear, hop on in. Kids take the truck and Esme can drive in the other car." He ordered with a no discussion tone.

Hermione hopped in the car and smiled at him. She remarked how it was silly to drive on the wrong side of the road which had the kids laughing in the background.

Once the engine was going and it was more muffled Hermione threw up a silencing charm and asked him what possessed him to move and if he had come up with a suitable arrangement for Esme to either knock the delusions off or another solution.

"There is another coven, like ours, vegetarian. They would be willing to take her in. They are the Denali Coven. I met them a while ago and became good friends with them. They too are a family."

Hermione nodded, "That would be a good solution, I would have to alter her memory a bit so she knows you are taken but not that I am a human that doesn't age." Esme had asked Carlisle once but he brushed it off and everyone else would change the subject.

Carlisle looked surprised that she could do that. "Yes, it's a painful thing for me to do but at the cost of the family's safety I will do it," Hermione said solemnly.

They slowed into town and the conversation kind of fell silent, Hermione took down the silencing charm and pecked Carlisle on the cheek. "I love you." She said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. They never had found a way to reverse her parents' memory charm.

Forks was a quaint little town that would become their home for some time.
