The idea of self-quarantine or imposed quartine isn't to give you a day off work to go party. I hope everyone is doing okay. There are a lot of fun things one can do indoors or doing social distancing. There are a lot of different virtual museums to explore. Here is a link to go explore, but google maps also has many locations that can be toured when you zoom.

This is a short chapter, mostly to introduce our new characters.

Hermione landed outside a small dinner, she was dressed in a simple dress that dangled just below the knee. Adorning her neck was a small pearl necklace and she had gloves that went to her upper forearm. Sensible heels were on her feet and her hair was pinned up in a small bob. Her first instinct was to look in her purse, it gave her an address. The address stated that she was in Philadelphia. Racking her brain she couldn't think of the Cullens owning any land in Philly. She looked around for signs of the time period. Spotting one, she saw the cars parked around the diner, she had landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1948.

She looked around her surroundings. There were the diner and a small fountain park next by but there wasn't a whole lot of things nearby. So she studied the diner a bit more, it was a pretty empty, one of the only customers a petite woman was sitting at the bar. But she felt drawn to go into the diner, so cautiously she approached the door and went in. A man walked in after her, his face partially covered by the turned-up collar on his coat. Instantly the woman rose and rushed over to the man to greet him. Hermione turned away but smiled slightly at the woman's instant friendliness. But became puzzled at the actions, as it sounded like the man who she had friendly greeted didn't know her. Hermione sat down at a booth and listened to the conversation.

"I've been waiting for you for such a long time! I'm so glad you came. I knew it would happen. I saw it. But it just seemed to take forever." The woman's appealing singsong voice teasingly scolded.

"I'm awfully sorry ma'am but I don't know if I know you." The man replied in a deeper rich voice.

"Alice. I am your soulmate." She smiled a bright smile that lit up her face, her hand lightly grasping his arm. He instantly felt warmth and a long lost feeling of hope.

"Jasper at your service." His voice faltered but gained confidence as he spoke.

Hermione felt a slow sensation of tugging, she quickly rushed up and accidentally bumped into the couple still standing in the front of the diner.

"Pardon! I am so sorry." Hermione said feeling quite rushed. She noticed as she looked at the two people that she had been secretly listening in. They were both vampires with their inhuman beauty and more importantly their eyes were amber as if they had both fed recently. They stared back at her and she quickly shook her head. The tugging sensation was even stronger so she dashed out the door and behind the dinner where she disappeared.

The couple she had bumped into looked at each other and looked back at the now-closed door. Almost confused as if they were unaware she had been there the whole time. Instead, they focused on each other's company and the new vegetarian lifestyle.
