Hello all! Thanks for being patient. I am trying to figure out a way for Hermione to interact with this time period more since it is so significant. I hope to have more chapters up as the ideas start coming more freely. She can't "fix" anything not pertaining to her soulmate but I might figure out ways to manipulate it so that she gets a few good storylines and maybe some friends from the 1970s. If you have any ideas feel free to shoot them in the comments. There might also be a few more lemons coming your way. I hope everyone is staying safe!

A few days with the kids away and the parents getting to play was nice. But Hermione woke up after everyone got home and routine had fallen into place again and knew that this was the day she would leave. It was just a feeling but she wanted to be prepared to go since she wasn't sure when she would be back and wanted to ensure the family was going to get along and she would come back to all of her children.

She went down and grabbed a light breakfast while figuring out where people were. Carlisle had gone for morning shift so he would be back in the afternoon. She hoped that she could say good-bye. Hermione made a quick list of what needed to get done for till she got back like find another property. She had hoped maybe he could find one in England or Scotland at some point. Ensure the kids got along and were either in school or working and staying out of the light since she couldn't glamour them when she was gone.

The day passed on and Hermione had gone to the wizarding world to stock up on blood pops for the family before the end of the day. She had a strong feeling she would leave in the evening. She was right. Once Carlisle came home she ran to him and kissed him passionately. "I love you. I will see you later."

Off she popped and swiftly landed on a grassy area with a rocky surface. The sky was cloudy and gray with minimal sunlight. Birds were cheering and there was a sheep babbling in the distance. She looked around. There was a large cottage in front of her. Deciding to wing it she walked up the windy crumbly path and knocked on the door. There was no answer. She was stumped so she whipped out her wand and said: "point me." The wand pointed at the door. So she sighed and sat at the door. She could unlock it but she wasn't quite sure this was her new home and didn't want to be rude. She was wearing small sensible heels, stockings, and a long skirt with a fitted blouse and smart jacket on top, with short gloves and a clutch.

There was a car coming, she could hear it faintly. The putter of the engine soon became more of a roar as it crept closer.

Inside the car, Edward and Alice and Jasper sat. She grinned and stood up giving a small wave at them. The car came to a stop and the doors were yanked open. Alice bounced up to her while Edward and Jasper walked up to greet her. She gave kisses on the cheeks and greetings to her children. "Oh, it's been too long my loves. A moment away feels like a lifetime. What is the date and where are we, my dears?

"It's 1970. And we happen to be in Scotland."

Hermione grinned. "Ah, my home. I knew it as soon as I felt the chilled air. Where are your brother and sister and father?"

"Dad is at work and Rosaline and Emmet don't live with us, they live in the countryside of England."

"They claim it's their couple's time."

Hermione just grinned. "Well, it's wonderful to see those who are here right now."

"Let me show you around."

It was a quaint house, with two floors, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a nice kitchen, an office, a larger living room, and a backyard. There were no neighbors in sight, just a ruin next door. The woods stretched a bit from where she could see.

She smiled, she did feel back at home and it eased her homesickness just a bit, even if it was at the wrong time.

Then it clicked, "What year did you say it was?"

" 1970s, August 30th, 1971, to be exact. How come?"

"The Marauders... Lily...Voldemort, oh my poor Harry."

The group understood at once.

"I am so sorry Hermione, maybe you can help?"

Hermione just shook her head. "I don't think I can. The potion was not meant to change time, that's why it isn't as dangerous as regular time travel. I can only do things that affect my soulmate and I. But maybe I can get a picture or two without them noticing...I can talk to the Headmaster, wait it wouldn't be Dumbledore would it? Maybe I get a picture when they go to Hogsmeade? Try and be really not creepy about it but also I want to see if I can get some pictures for Harry since I can't physically do anything to stop their deaths…" Hermione's stream of consciousness continued as she was stress mumbling.

The family felt for her and unanimously joined together for a group hug.

Later that afternoon Carlisle came home and rushed in because he could smell his beloved.

"Mi amour, hi," Carlisle said with enthusiasm as he twirled her around. Placing a small kiss on her lips with his eyes lighting up.

"Hello, I've missed you. I can't believe you are here in Scotland." She said with equal enthusiasm and joy. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he slowly placed her back down on the ground.

"Yes. I thought it would be most interesting, I'm glad you got to see the new place." There was pride in his voice.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world. It is gorgeous and I can't wait to live here with you." Hermione kissed him again.

The kids came back down to greet their father. Alice beamed with happiness at her parents' love. Jasper felt as if his chest would burst from so much happiness. Edward felt as if his parents acting like lovebirds was sweet but he lived with them for the longest so he didn't get as gushy as the other two. But he smiled all the same.

They settled in for a nice dinner with conversation as Hermione caught up with the information on how everyone was the last couple of years.
