I just want to state I don't agree with JK Rowlings views on Transgender women. I was saddened to hear her opinion on that. I love Harry Potter and I want to separate the artist and the artwork. That being said I am not making money off of the story or buying her work as I believe that transwomen are women. Thank you.

Also. You are right Rosalie's name was changed and that's my bad. I hope everyone is staying safe! Congrats to 2020 seniors, 8th graders, etc and I am sorry this has been such a weird time for us. Sorry for a late update. I am trying to figure out where I want to go from here in the story.

Hermione thought about all the information she had and how she wasn't even sure any of it could be put to use. She sighed once again, this time period was very weird to be in, it was her heart and her brain going to war. Carlisle heard her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"It will be okay love. You can't do anything more than you have. Who knows what could happen if you tried, or maybe nothing happens and it stays the way it was. You can't keep beating yourself up about it."

She nodded, he was right, she couldn't do anything. Besides she had to wait for the Marauders and Lily and Snape to be their third year since that was the time they got to go out to Hogsmeade. So she did just that, the potion kept her there for 3 years.

Carlisle knew which date was the countdown and planned to take the day off so she could look after the kids as they went to Hogsmead for the first time.

Hermione and Carlisle went into the wizarding world, she knew that the children would be in awe of the new experience and treasure it.

"Look at them, they have so much hope and excitement." Hermione pointed out to Carlisle was they walked down the streets.

"I know dear, I hope they treasure these memories when all else fails." He said with a heavy heart.

"Me too." Hermione has suddenly saddened thinking of all the futures that wouldn't come to fruition.

Carlisle kissed her hand, "It will be alright in the end." Hermione nodded but now didn't feel like talking to the younger people she wished she had grown to love or had grown to be close to.

"In cominggggggg!" A yell shook her out of her thoughts and Carlisle quickly moved her in a bit faster than human speed.

"Sorry about that!" A young boy's voice came calling out. "Me and my mates were just tossing around the snow."

"No harm was done but maybe it would be best if you don't throw snow around a crowded area." Carlisle lightly scolded.

"Yes Sir." The young name said, he was lanky and taller but his eyes looked sunken and he had light scaring. Hermione recognized him as Remus Lupin as she gathered her thoughts.

"Is it your first time out of Hogwarts?" Hermione asked, practically echoing what she had said to everyone last time.

"Yes ma'am," Lupin responded.

"I loved going and getting sugar quills." Hermione thought for a second. "Here you go, here is a bit of coin to go buy something sweet on me for all the memories 3rd year brings back."

The three other boys went running up to see what was taking so long. "Remussssss. What's taking so long." Sirius came bouncing up. He did a double-take when he saw who Remus was talking to. "Oh. Sorry, I did not see my friend was talking to a lovely lady like yourself." With a sly wink, he smiled at her. She stifled a laugh as she thought "A Black will always be a Black."

"Hello. Mr. Black. I am sorry for keeping your friend for so long." Carlisle said with his smooth voice. Hermione smiled at him, she squeezed his hand as if to reassure him that he didn't need to be jealous of the young teenager.

Sirius nodded his head to acknowledge the gentleman and smiled. "Not a problem sir."

James hadn't taken his eyes off of Hermione for really any second left. "Have we met before?"

Carlisle shook his head and Hermione responded. "I'm not quite sure, I pop up around sometimes and have a familiar face." James looked even more unsure but nodded.

Peter cleared his throat. "Well, we will be off to go to Zonkos. Bye." He practically tore the other guys towards the path and away from Hermione and Carlisle.

Hermione felt a bit sad and angry against a boy who hadn't done anything yet. The keyword was yet. She couldn't do anything about it. But she had taken a few pictures of the boys running off playing with the snow a bit more before she turned to Carlisle. "Can we get some butterbeer?" "Sure thing my love."

They walked towards The Three Broomsticks Inn for Hermione to get a drink. Once they were settled in the booth they sat next to Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy. Hermione felt her skin crawl a bit, regardless of Draco Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy's true alliance, Lucius was a different story. Lucius Malfoy walked over to the bar to get a drink leaving Severus alone. Hermione took the chance to look at him. He had his hair in such a way that it looked greasy and she felt bad for him. He looked neglected and she knew that neglect became a hardened man who was in the future. He kept checking his watch as if he was ready to leave the Inn. Hermione thought about the timeline, he hadn't fought with Lily yet but she hadn't really thought about him having to survive the Slytherin dorms, he would have had to make alliances. Carlisle knew the story long enough. He asked, "Where do you think Lily is?" Hermione also questioned where her presence was.

But once Lucius came back from the bar and they drank one drink down Severus excused himself. Lucius nodded and waved him off. Hermione had finished her drink and Carlisle paid her tab. They left and tailed Severus to find themselves at the Tomes and Scrolls. They walked in and walked down the aisle. Hermione saw the fiery red hair and the jet black slick hair towards the end. They were looking at the scrolls together and discussing the theories of what would happen if they combined two potions together. Hermione smiled at them and Carlisle was glad to see her happy.

She turned around when Lily asked if Carlisle could grab a tome from her on a high shelf. Carlisle smiled at the young lady and grabbed the tome for her. "Here you go Miss, it looks fascinating."

Hermione turned to her beloved and looked Lily in the eyes. "That is such a good read, I recommend the potions scroll as well." Severus nodded almost a bit smug since he knew they should grab the other resource.

Hermione commented "I don't recall having to read it though for school. I just read it for extracurricular."

Severus responded. "It isn't your business though." Lily shook her head. "Be nice. It is extracurricular, we are just interested in combining potions with the shrinking charm." Hermione smiled at Lily, "I'd recommend using a copper cauldron to do that. But sounds quite interesting." Carlisle nodded at the two and said "Good luck."

Then the two of them left as the young teenagers discussed what the tome said and the advice was given.
