A/N: Here is the second (and final) chapter of my Sherlolly Secret Santa gift for theconsultingstrangevidder. Still rated K+, but definitely flirting with T. Enjoy!

"I believe I have fully met the terms of our arrangement, Miss Hooper, would you agree?"

Molly lowered her lashes, glancing sideways at the speaker. "The terms were fairly straight-forward, Mr. Holmes," she conceded. "As I recall, in fact, there was only a single term to be met."

Sherlock stepped closer to her, gently placing his finger beneath her chin and lifting her face up so that their eyes met. "And do you agree that I have met that single term? Have I proven myself to your satisfaction...Molly?"

Unable to speak due to the intensity of not only his gaze but her own emotions, Molly nodded. Sherlock's lips curled in a delicious smile, then descended to meet hers in a sweet, tender kiss.

When the kiss ended, Molly found her hands had settled on his shoulders and his arms wrapped warmly around her upper torso. Her eyes fluttered open, a small gasp escaped her lips, and suddenly they were sharing a far less chaste kiss. One that ended with them both panting, trembling with desire.

"Merry Christmas, Molly Hooper," Sherlock whispered, easing his grasp on her only to insert one hand into his jacket pocket. She held her breath as he pulled forth a small, blue velvet box from within - the type of box one might use to hold a ring or other small bauble. "Will you do me the honour of altering our arrangement to one that might one day involve matrimony?"

Molly smiled up, unaware of how dazzlingly beautiful she looked in that moment, to the eyes of the man she'd loved through thick and thin, sickness and health, rage and sorrow and adventures of every sort. "Yes, Sherlock," she answered when he began to frown at her silence. She closed her hand over the one proffering the ring box just as he began to withdraw it. "Yes, I will indeed be happy to alter our arrangement to one of a more permanent nature."

She was fully aware of how dazzlingly beautiful he was as he smiled his relief, his joy, and giggled happily as he fumbled open the box and placed the antique engagement ring - pearls and topaz in a silver setting - upon the third finger of her left hand.

The sentiment behind it was truly the most wonderful Christmas gift she'd ever received.
