For the next hour, Jamie sent his time in Bunnymund's warren doing nothing but running around. Although there wasn't much in the warren, besides walking Easter eggs, there was still plenty of space for Jamie to run and truly explore the area.
"Hmmm. I think you should play hide and seek with Jamie." said Jack.
"Hide and seek? Why that?" asked Bunnymund.
"It could be fun for the both of you. You could use the exercise since you've been gaining a few pounds recently." Jack joked.
"Oh ha ha. Well, it would be a good way to pass the time." said Bunnymund.
"Alright! Jamie! Can you come over here for a second?" asked Jack.
"Okay." Jamie said before he ran to the two guardians.
"Alright Jamie, you want to play a game of hide and seek?" asked Bunnymund.
"Hide and seek? Sure. Who's doing the hiding?" asked Jamie.
"You'll do the hiding and I'll count to 100. Okay?" asked Bunnymund.
"Okay." said Jamie.
"Alright." Bunnymund said before covering his eyes with his paws and saying, "One."
Jamie then quickly ran away and tried to find a spot to hide in Bunnymund's massive warren. He saw a stone cave and thought it was the perfect spot, so he hid there. While there, he noticed there was a sizable hole in the cave that would be easy for Bunnymund to spot. Thinking quickly, Jamie had the idea to use paint to help disguise himself.
He ran back to where Bunnymund was, and he was thankfully still counting.
"62. 63. 64." Bunnymund said.
Without a second thought, Jamie grabbed some grey paint and brush and rushed back to his hiding spot. With no time to lose, Jamie pulled his underwear down and proceeded to paint his butt the color grey to the best of his ability. Jamie's plan was simple. He would fill in the hole in the cave with his butt. As long as it looked convincing, Bunnymund wouldn't expect a thing.
When Jamie heard Bunnymund say, "96.", he stopped what he was doing and filled the cave's hole with his naked painted butt.
"100! Ready or not, here I come!" said Bunnymund, as Jamie stood in his hiding position.
Bunnymund looked around but he couldn't spot Jamie anywhere.
"Man, this kid is better than I expected." said Bunnymund.
He continued to look, until he started to smell something. He turned at looked at the stone cave, saw an unusual looking stone that had never been there before, and said, "Bingo."
He went up to the unusual stone and said, "Hmmm. I've never a stone that looks like this before. Must be one of a kind. And it has a very interesting smell too. I think I'm going to take this for myself and put it in my collection."
Panicking, Jamie decided to choose that moment to fart, which made Bunnymund cover his nose in disgust. Jamie then ditched the underwear and ran from the cave and away from Bunnymund, hoping to lose him.
Unfortunately, disaster struck, as Jamie tripped and his knee fell on a rock, causing him to scream in pain.
"Oh crap! Jamie!" said Jack as he and Bunnymund went up to Jamie to check on him.
"What happened, mate?" asked Bunnymund.
While crying, Jamie said, "I fell on a rock, and it really hurts."
"Where does it hurt?" asked Jack.
"My leg." said Jamie.
Jack looked at Jamie's leg and said the large bruise forming. When he tried to touch it, Jamie cried out in pain.
"Okay, this is really not good." said Jack.
"You got any ideas?" asked Bunnymund.
Jack thought about it for a bit until a lightbulb went off in his head.
"I know exactly what to do." said Jack.
