Jack carried Jamie and laid him on a large, flat rock.
"Jamie, this is going to feel weird but I'm going to use my ice powers on your leg. It won't hurt and it'll make the pain in your leg go away. Okay?" said Jack.
"Okay." Jamie said with tears in his eyes.
Jack then placed his hand on Jamie's injured leg and used his ice powers on it, which made Jamir squirm for a second until he felt the pain decrease.
After about 30 seconds, Jack took his hand off and asked, "Does it feel better?"
"Yeah, it does. It still hurts but not as much as it once did." said Jamie.
"Well, that's good." said Jack.
Bunnymund then went over to Jamie and said, "Here you go, mate. You left this at the cave. Didn't want you going home naked.", before giving Jamie his underwear.
Before Jamie could put it back on, Jack said, "Buddy, I think we need to deal with the grey butt first, before putting on your underwear."
Jamie, Jack, and Bunnymund then went to a nearby lake and Jamie went in the water to clean himself off.
While cleaning the paint off his butt, Jamie asked Jack, "Jack, there's some that's been bothering me about you. Why don't you wear shoes? I mean I get why Bunnymund doesn't wear shoes because bunnies don't wear shoes, but why not you?"
"Hmmm. I guess shoes were never my thing. Even when I was a human, I didn't like shoes. I went out on ice barefoot." said Jack.
"Ice? Most people wouldn't think about doing that." said Jamie.
"Well, I guess I was different. And when I became Jack Frost, shoes were useless, and I haven't worn any for hundreds of years." said Jack.
"Wow. That's crazy." said Jamie.
"Yeah, but it's fun. My powers work better without them." said Jack.
Soon enough, Jamie was clean and once he was dry, he put his underwear back on.
He, Jack, and Bunnymund sat down on the ground and Jamie said, "You know, I wish I could spend more days like this."
"Like what?" asked Bunnymund.
"Not caring. I mean look at me. I'm only in my underwear and it feels great. I don't have to deal with people judging me or making fun of me. But I know life can't be like that and I have to follow rules and stuff." said Jamie.
"Well, if it makes you feel better, I never had to follow any rules for 300 years. Mainly because no one could see me." said Jack.
"And what was that like?" asked Jamie.
"It was awesome. I could do whatever I wanted. There were days when I went out butt naked and got away with it. It was fun to make mysterious 'yellow snow' everywhere I went and press my feet on windows, just to see people's reactions." said Jack.
"Really, Jack? Just when I thought you couldn't get any more immature." said Bunnymund.
"You're one to talk. You don't even wear clothes." said Jack.
"Shut up." said Bunnymund.
"But at least I got to spend the day with you two. Beats going to school." said Jamie.
"Yeah, I bet it does." Jack said as he, Jamie, and Bunnymund just sat on the ground with their feet out, just enjoying the peace and quiet.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. It was short but I thought it worked. The next chapter will be the last chapter and it will revolve around Jamie saying goodbye to Jack and Bunnymund and going home. Now that I'm back in college, updates may get sporadic, but it shouldn't be TOO bad. It won't take me a whole month to update one story. Other than that, I hope you all have a wonderful day.
