Disclaimer! I dont own any works of goblin slayer. This is fanfic.

Back at twilight town, in the building of the adventures guild. Alone sits the Priestess on a bench. Sitting quietly as a bunch of adventures talk among themselves.

Two young porcelain-rank adventurers walk up to the girl holding the golden staff. Girl in light robes, with purple eyes and long, blondish-red hair. Plus, he's a young man with short blonde hair and essential gear (including leather armor).

"Hey, aren't you a Priestess?" questioned the young lad, an aspiring warrior. "Um...yeah," was the reply. The priestess looked up at the two porcelain-ranked explorers. The novice warrior inquired, "Hey, why don't you join our party?"

"thank you, but I already have a partner" "Goblin slayer, we know that," interrupted the cleric with purple eyes. "He has been absent for two days and is obsessed with goblins. I believe that he only cares about goblins." The young cleric added.

"Yes, the man gives me the creeps; I have no idea why anyone would want to negotiate with him." The novice warrior's words led the priestess to gaze at them with annoyance.

"Thank you, but I like goblin slayer," Priestess said, wishing the cleric and warrior would leave that they did. She understood why others considered him odd and, at times, frightening. She felt indebted to him ever since he rescued her from the goblins.

But it was awful that they couldn't save the gang. Only she managed to escape harm. The little warrior lad was eaten alive, the Wizard girl was poisoned, and the female fighter met an untimely end.

It's been three weeks since the priestess started working with the Goblin assassin. As a reward for defeating the goblins, she was granted a new miracle by the heavenly Earth mother. The black-armored man doesn't say much, but he protects her from goblins.

He even started showing her self-defense moves. The priestess has been prepared to use her golden staff as a weapon. She couldn't believe all the talents the black armored man possessed. The priestess pondered the training routines of Goblin assassin.

Because she had witnessed Goblin assassin in action, the priestess had no concerns concerning the armored guy. His tracking abilities are top-notch, his dagger throw is incredible, his swordplay is excellent, and he seems to have unrivaled talent with no weapons.

Goblin Assasin, meantime, always appeared ready: she waited for him to return, watching the two entrances and crossing her fingers.

The guild girl behind the counter is doing the same thing, waiting for a black-armored person to appear through one of the two front doors. Conversely, the Guild girl was concerned.

The person is next to her talks. "Because he always does, he will come back. Is it true that he kills goblins?" a beautiful young woman with long brown hair and emerald eyes. She dresses in the same guild garb as Guild Girl but with the addition of a necklace bearing the symbol of the Supreme God. Inspectressing was her job.

"He does, but he is occasionally injured or exhausted." The guild girl said while sighing and feeling downcast. "Didn't he offer you private lessons on throwing sharp objects from a distance?" Inspector asked, grinning.

"Yes, he was an excellent instructor." affirmed the guild member. "yes, those aren't the only tools he knows; you have nothing to worry about; he's more skilled than anybody else here; if he wanted to, I bet we'd all be dead," Inspector stated with a chuckle.

The Guild member was correct, but that didn't make her worry any less; despite his demonic appearance, the man in black armor was just like any other human being: he felt lonely, furious, hurt, and tired. Even if he's fantastic on the field, Goblin assassin isn't invincible.

"He now has the priestess, enabling him to save additional ladies from goblins." The inspector stated. "indeed, I prefer it when the priestess is with him; nevertheless, he did not take her this time." She said while frowning.

The priestess is observed approaching the counter and is greeted with a smile by a guild girl. "Hello, how may I assist you?" Querying the guild girl. "umm… When does he return typically?" Inquired the priestess timidly. "Typically, two to five days. I hope he gets back." The guild girl said with a phony smile on her face.

. Even though the Priestess is confident that the Goblin assassin is still alive, she shows no concern about his whereabouts. Seeing the expression the guild girl had made before she approached, it was clear that she, too, missed the black armored man and hoped he would return.

Knowing she was not alone in her prejudice against the goblin assassin, the priestess allowed herself a small smile. Everyone she's ever met who's seen the goblin slayer has either mocked him or said they wouldn't want to be seen with him. They couldn't fathom how much she knew.

The goblin assassin is reserved yet protective; he watches out for her and ensures she is safe. To protect the young priestess, he keeps an eye on her. From the perspective of the priestess and the guild girls, he is more heroic than mad.

The guild girl and the priestess turn their attention to the opening of two front doors at once. But alas, it wasn't the person they had hoped for. There were three adventurers in the adventuring guild as the door opened.

As a result, everyone else watches as the Elf girl and the dwarf argues. The person who comes in second place is a big surprise. Even the inspector and priestess were taken aback by the lizard man's appearance, while the guild girl seemed more perplexed than anything else.

The entire building was silent, except for the bickering Elf girl and dwarf, as they tried to process the shock, dread, and confusion they witnessed. The members of the guild have all seen some unusual occurrences. The most out-of-the-ordinary thing happened here.

The Elf, dwarf, and Lizard walk up to the counter where the Guild girl is sitting. As the priestess cowers in dread, the inspector stares in disbelief.

This particular elf is a female archer of the highest order among the elves. She is a tall, slim elf with green hair that is longer in the back and shorter in the front and is styled in two braids to the sides. The fact that she has longer ears marks her as a High Elf. She's decked out in a green sleeveless archer corset, shorts, uneven black gloves, knee-high boots, and a hood.

Despite his short stature, the Dwarf has a robust body. His lengthy, sectioned beard is a point of habitual self-gratification for him. His attire is unusually eastern, and he wears what seems to resemble a form of cuirass around his waist.

Lizardman with green skin and horns on his head. Even to his close pals, he is a source of fear due to his towering stature and scary appearance. He has what appear to be white lines on his cheek—a chest guard and what appear to be customary garments for his people's priesthood complete his outfit.

The argument between the dwarf and the Elf continues. The Golden-eyed Guildswoman jumps as the Lizardman leans forward.

"Forgive my companions here; dwarfs and elves don't seem to get along well." This was the Lizardman, speaking in a voice that was both menacing and alluring. To the priestess' and everyone else's amazement, he didn't sound threatening, adding to their bewilderment.

No longer afraid of the Lizardman, the priestess was fascinated by him, the dwarf, and the elf. They are the most surprising bunch to run into.

As the elf and Dwarf still argue, the lizard guy gets agitated and gets the two arguing people's attention. The Lizardman addressed them, "You two, you know why we are here, don't you?" He had patients, which came as a surprise to the rest of the guild. That made everyone question reality.

The elf girl said, "owe…I'm sorry, but this dwarf believes beard cutter is a better moniker than orcbolg!" The elf girl indicated the dwarf with a finger. "Well, it's true, but you elves might use more imagination." The dwarf said as he rubbed his beard.

The elf girl became crimson with anger. "You Dwarves are more like trolls, except the type that irritates me!" The Dwarf laughed at the Elf's outbursts.

"Please concentrate, you two!" The lizard priest asked with an agitated expression, yet his voice was calm. No one ever considered Lizardmen to be honorable due to his extraordinary self-control.

The elf girl looks at the guild girl, who is still processing what she has seen. "We're here to see a man named orcbolg," said the archer of the high elves. "orcbolg?" the guild girl inquired. "Orcbolg, clad in armor, has a short sword and an epic bow and arrow attached to his hip?" Explained the archer of high elves.

Guild girl suddenly understood who she was referring to. "You mean Goblin assasin right?" He is not present today because he is currently on a journey." The guild girl stated. "When does he typically return?" The high elf archer queried. "between two and three days. Sometimes it takes weeks," responded the guild member.

The Priestess and the Guild Girls turn to see the two front doors open. When they recognize the man the three silver-level adventurers were inquiring about, the expressions on their faces light up. There was a man decked out in black leather armor, a beautiful black helmet covering his entire head, a dark targe shield with jagged edges, a short black dragon tooth sword at his hip, and a long black epic bow and arrow slung over his shoulder. However, blood was all over the man.

Priestess yelled, "Goblin assassin!" as she ran toward the armored man covered in blood. 'You're covered in blood; allow me to assist you in washing it off,' the Priestess said. A simple "later" was all the goblin killer said. As he approached the counter, he made eye contact with the guild girl. He was getting the attention of the surprised and delighted elf, dwarf, and lizardman.

"Goblin assassin!" the guild girl said. She was grinning broadly and observing the armored individual. "I eliminated all goblins." That was the whole of the man's speech. "I see; are you in pain?" Querying the guild girl. "No," replied the Goblin killer. "Did you use your potions when injured?" Concerned about her favorite fighter, the guild girl inquired. " Sure," he replied.

"I notice you're covered in blood; would you like me to clean you?" She asked with a smile, thinking he said say yes. The priestess began sulking and declaring. "I inquired first!" she said as she flailed her golden staff. "umm, pardon me." The high elf archer drew the Goblin assassin's attention with these words. "Are you the orcbolg that the elves call?" The High elf archer was queried.

"no." Before returning his attention to the Guild girl, the assassin said nothing further in response to the High elf archer. The elf girl stared at the armored man dumbfoundedly for a moment. The guild girl stated, "I believe you are orcbolg to elves." The goblin assassin said, "I see." Turning towards the Elf, Dwarf, and Lizardman again.

"could we please have an upstairs room?" questioned the Lizardman. Holding his hands together, he bowed before the guild girl. The guild girl responds with a friendly smile. "Yes, proceed upstairs and locate a room with Goblin assassin." Following this, the Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, and priestess ascend the stairs and enter a room behind the Goblin assassin.

Dwarf, Lizard, and Elf are seated on the opposite side of the table from the Goblin assassin and the Priestess. "listen." The Archer of the High Elves begins firing. "I'm sure you've heard that the demon lord is rising again." "No." Replies the Goblin assassin. The response of the Slayer surprises the Elf, the Dwarf, and the Lizardman. "Well, we need your assistance with-" "Not interested." Interrupting the Elf girl's train of thought, the Goblin assassin declared.

The High Elf Archer was taken aback by the black armor-clad. "What the heck, why not?" Shouted The Elf girl gritting her teeth and slamming her palms on the table. "Because the demon lord is not a goblin." The Goblin killer responded. This made the priestess laugh. However, the Elf girl was about to pounce on the Goblin slayer when the Dwarf stopped her.

"Keep your cool, Elf! Remember, we didn't come here to seek assistance in dealing with the demon lord." The dwarf said, pulling her back into her chair. "What does this have to do with goblins?" enquired the Priestess. She clutched her staff tightly and made a bold face at the three silver-ranked adventures, trying not to appear timid.

"There is a group of Goblins in the underground fortress," Lizardman stated. He closes his eyes and clasps his hands together. "I see; where is the Goblin nest? Have you got a map?" enquired the Goblin assassin. Lizardman hands a map to the fortress to the stoic armored man. "Do any Goblinhubs, Shamans, Champions, or Lords exist?" enquired the assassin.

The Elf, Dwarf, and Lizardman exchanged puzzled looks. To speak, the priestess beings. "Goblin leaders, or Goblins who are heroes to the Goblins. Shamans and hubs are ranked from sapphire to ruby. Champions and lords are the equivalents of silver and platinum-ranked adventures." Explained the priestess to the group of silver ranks. They nod their head to the priestess.

"You've learned a lot." Looking at the Priestess, said the Goblin assassin. As she heard the blood-stained armored clad compliment her, the priestess' face flushed. She looked down as if she was pleased with her mentor's praise.

"We do not know how many there are or whether there are hubs, shamans, Champions, or lords; all we know is that there is a great number." Exclaimed the reptile. "I see." Said the Goblin assassin. He rose from his seat and walked for the exit. "I'll be going, and you can determine my compensation." The Goblin assassin added.

"Wait!" shouted Priestess, getting the blood-stained armored figures' attention. "Want me to go with you? You look tired." Asked the Priestess; the dwarf, Elf, and Lizardman looked on in curiosity. 'is orcbolg wanting to do it on his own?' thought the High elf archer. "no, ill go on my own." Said the assassin. The priestess's mouth dropped, and her eyes widened.

"That's not fair! a minimum, we could have... discussed it." The trembling priestess replied while gripping her staff and cap and looking down. Before speaking, the Goblin killer glanced at the young woman. "We are discussing it." Said the Goblin assassin with a trace of irritation in his voice.

The young Priestess regarded the Goblin killer with a blank expression and tears in her eyes as she looked up at him. She gazed down and inhaled deeply before returning her gaze to the armored man with a smile. "There is no conversation if the opposite party does not have a voice." Priestess stated.

The goblin assassin ponders for a moment. The priestess closes her eyes, giggling. "I am going with you; you aren't going to leave me behind." Said the priestess sounding more giddily. "besides, you look tired. You should be the one staying behind and resting." Added the Priestess.

The elf stood up from her chair and pointed her finger at the slayer, smirking. "The three of us are going with you as well." The High Elf archer said proudly. Goblin assassin stood in silence for a moment. "all right then." is all he said.
