Me: So we are back here. The chapter that turned Kasumi into a digimon was our main surprise.

Me: Yeah, but now I have to fix the whole chapter and I bet you and Ace are raring to go.

Chapter 6: Falling Star, Slaying a Vampire, and Meeting Twins
It was the morning after the last of the training was completed by those that were training. Ace was getting up like normal, but felt something big was going to happen today.
'Have to stay focused.' Ace thought before getting his school clothes ready. His clothes are a white muscle shirt under a charcoal gray polo shirt, black cargo pants, silver socks under pant legs, and dark brown steel-toed boots.
Kasumi was just now waking up as if on instinct, but letting Ace use the bathroom first.
'I'm going to school with Ace-kun and Rika-chan.' She thought with a happy smile.
She went to her closet to get a pink shirt, blue long skirt, white shorts, light blue converse. She took a quick shower after he was done in the bathroom and put on a light jacket over her shirt to hide her arms and make them seem smaller or weaker.
"Good morning." The two kids said to their parents who nodded.
"Kasumi-dear, the principal has your school ID and some other things, but he did put you in the same classes as Ace and his friends." Their father said and she nodded her head.
The twins have been training with each other as they normally do and their digimon have been watching them with some interest. For them it seemed to be just another day for them.
"To think today would be the day. I think Ace knows something will happen." Ko said as Michael nodded his head.
"I got that feeling too." He said before they looked at the sky as they were able to sense something farther up in the sky or actually in space. Meanwhile in space, a ship heading for the planet and the pilot is injured.
'I hope someone can help.' The pilot thought before the ship entered the atmosphere.
From the ground, the ship looked like a meteor, but the twins knew better. The two focused their senses and sensed life in the ship.
"A pilot in that ship." They went to slow the ship down as the twins were using their powers to cool the ship.
Meanwhile, Ace was walking with Kasumi and Rika to the school before the other students. They noticed a falling meteor, but couldn't help right away.
"After school we go to help wherever that lands." Ace said as the girls nodded in agreement.
The twins made the ship land by their shrine before helping the pilot out of it. Michael, being a doctor that he is, helped heal the pilot of all their injuries. The pilot is another anthro fox with healthy curves to her body. She is wearing a dark blue bodysuit, high-knee boots, silver braces on her arms, a necklace with a light blue gem, and a headpiece with red and green gems. There are also bands in her tail, but they know who this one is.
(AN: Yeah, it's krystal from starfox and you knew from the disclaimer, but her appearance is a combination of star fox adventures and assault.)
"I didn't think you two would be here." Krystal said drinking some water that Ko gave her.
"We have been here long enough for several lifetimes, but we are keeping an eye on what is going on here." Michael said as Krystal nodded before drinking more water.
"How are you and the team doing?" Ko asked her (she met the twins in a previous lifetime). The twins looked at the ship judging the damage while their digimon helped Krystal to her feet.
"It's about the same for the team." She said.
"You can stay with us here at the shrine while we fix your ship. It's been a while since we had a challenge." Ko said as she smiled.
"Thank you both." She said.
"You are welcome to join us to help us do the repairs." Ko said as the twins used a spell to teleport the ship into their garage/hanger bay.
It was another day for Rika and Ace, but it felt like a returning feeling for Kasumi. Her school locker was the one on the other side of Ace's locker sandwiching him in and the girls were giggling at the deadpanned look on his face. The school term had started so Kasumi didn't miss much at all.
'It seems so surreal to be back here. I know my body didn't age from the seals on the sealed chamber made by my senseis. However, my mental age grew older in place of that.' Kasumi thought as they had the same room and they took their spots and Kasumi took the seat by Rika instead.
"Just to try something new this time and give my little brother a break." She said, getting a smile in return from Ace.
"When our school day starts, we have to wear our masks and hide our real selves from nearly the whole school minus our group and some of the teachers. Pineapple head is the ice queen and I'm the Dark Genius." Ace explained to Kasumi who had a look on her face before shaking her head.
"You two shouldn't have to do that. Who cares about what other people think?" She asked as the rumored power couple smiled at her.
"Kasumi, this has been our thing for a while and it will take time to break. We like you are hiding our new strength till it's called for." Rika said.
"Yeah, Kasumi-chan, I rather be called something I choose myself instead of listening to moronic sheep and I don't let bullies work me over." Ace said and she nodded.
Soon other students had made it to class where the teacher had Kasumi introduce herself and mentioned that Ace Kamen was her little brother.
"I was supposed to be a student 10 months ago, but my father had some teachers train me till I could master all the self-defense lessons just in case that someone has grabby hands." Kasumi explained and nearly all the male students felt nervous.
"The principal has given me the ok to defend myself or stop any bullying." She added and both Ace and Rika agreed with her.
Kasumi proved her smarts in class like Ace does, but takes notes like Rika. She proves to be nice to others, but she is sort of waiting to show why she shouldn't be underestimated. Ace tends to have speed contests with Kasumi and actually makes it fun. Rika joins in some times, but not a whole lot. Soon it was time for lunch and the trio went to get their meal before everyone else. Both Ace and Rika showed Kasumi where they sit for lunch and wait for the others in the tamer group to show.
"Nice to have another girl in the group, being a tamer is secondary because there were too many boys and Ace-kun is neutral and a gentleman like gogglehead and Henry." Rika said while Ace has a look on his face that made both of them nervous.
"Rika-chan, Kasumi-chan is my dear sister, but she won't save you from me if I choose." He said with a serious glint in his eye. Kasumi got the vibe that he is a trickster and nodded her head.
"Good to see the two made for each other are back together." Takato teased as Henry had a nervous chuckle.
"Takato, Henry, meet Kasumi-nee. She is the new student and has been training in martial arts for the last 10 months like me and Rika-chan." Ace said and they nodded before shaking her hands.
"Jeri and Alice will be along shortly. My money is Kazu doing something stupid to one of you." Henry said and they nodded.
"Alice-chan is like my little sister in a way, but Jeri-chan is another sister and she keeps Takato in line." Ace explained smiling seeing Takato turning his head with a blush.
"Alice hangs out with Ryo, a somewhat of a brother to me, but I had a dislike for him when Rika in the tournament circuits for the card game and lost to him." Ace added as both girls appeared with their lunch.
Kasumi took a liking to both girls and gave them a gentle hug, but they felt the power in her arms. "The last pair are Takato's friends and only Kenta is one I can tolerate, but Kazu was a bully of mine till he saw what I did to some bullies when I chose to stand up for myself." He explained the last of the group and they shall appear. Kazu was about to say something when seeing in his mind a hot girl, but felt fear when seeing Ace looking at him with a dark glint in his eye.
"You say anything short of respectful to my sister and you will not live past lunch. The best thing is that I won't even need to touch you; she can take care of herself." Ace warned him and he nodded his head. Kasumi shared a brief word with Kenta and liked him well enough to be his friend.
"We are making Kasumi an honorary tamer like Ace was before getting tested." Rika said as they nodded as the girls approved with Ace. Kazu was the only one against, but he was alone. They were having a good time honestly and it felt good without a certain person ruining it with the constant digimon attacks.
'Digimon incoming, Ace-kun.' Rena-chan warned him.
Ace jumped high in the air before grabbing a devimon slamming it into the floor of the cafeteria and glared at the bully who had a cruel smile on his face.
"I just had to welcome you back." He said.
"So you didn't learn anything from 10 months ago." Ace said darkly, getting a look on his face. He was about to take a step when Kasumi stopped him by placing her hand on his shoulder. She had a serious look on her face.
"Don't let that idiot ruin your day, we know that you, me, and Rika-chan can beat the crap out of him." Kasumi said. Ace shared a smile with her knowing that was true.
What happened next is a blur, but Ace, Rika, and Kasumi frowned at the bully before surrounding him on all sides, but to the other students it seemed to be a release of Dark Ace again on the idiot. The bully seemed to mouthed words and it almost broke something in Ace at an instant. Ace launched the stupid idiot into the air and the two followed up with a kick and punch to the stomach slamming him through ghe doors of the school and into a dirt pile.
"At least there is no hole in the wall this time and you have a wonderful sister, Ace-kun." The principal's wife said.
"She did stop me from fulfilling my promise to him." Ace said.
Soon the day was quiet and over, but Ace was walking on his own for a reason. Rika took Kasumi ahead so they could get her some digimon cards so she can learn and play for the fun of it. Rena-chan was following him like usual, but still stayed some distance away.
'Why always this park?' Ace thought feeling something was pulling him to the park where he met his Rena-chan. He sensed someone like he had seen them before and it was a certain blue vixen. He was surprised to see Krystal of Starfox here.
"I figured that you would be in space on a mission, Miss Krystal." Ace said, walking to her with a gentle step.
"My ship got damaged and two old friends are fixing it as we speak. I did help them a bit, but I felt like I needed to be in the fresh air." She said and he nodded.
"How is Fox?" Ace asked as they walked around the forest in the park.
"He and the team have been good, but it's weird for him to ask me to take a break from the team." She said.
(AN: Let me explain; the park where Ace met his renamon is the same park they are walking around. The shrine my twins are living at is based at another town or city so not close by to the one. Either Ko or Michael brought her to this city and they are hanging around somewhere.)
"That just means that he cares about you even if he doesn't say it." Ace said and she giggled.
"I know he cares, but it does get a bit frustrating." Krystal said and he gave her a hug.
"Since I'm free and I need to kill some time plus boredom, I can show you around the city. My friend in the tree is sort of my bodyguard, but we trust you." He offered and Krystal agreed before they left the park. Rena-chan was following them, but sensed some digimon laying in wait somewhere.
The twins were taking a break while having some clones work on fixing the ship. They noticed Krystal meeting Ace and smiled from it. However, they frowned, sensing the same digimon Rena-chan did.
"That punk is trying something again and I'm getting a bad feeling. Sort of a good thing that we are here." Ko said and Michael gave a slow nod, his eyes tracking Ace and Krystal through the city.
"We don't have to meet with Ace, but with that bad feeling we may have to meet him soon." Michael said and Ko nodded his head.
"He will be our next student, but Kasumi can join us or train on her own." He said.
Acting as her guide, Ace was showing Krystal around the city and answering any questions she had. It was quite easy for them to build a bond in friendship and it would seem that Krystal would be in that group the other anthro ladies are in soon enough. The two had finished the tour at an ice cream parlor. Ace always like coming here since they was the only one to have his favorite ice cream of all time (I don't care who you are; Tin Roof Sundae ice cream is the best in the universe).
"Thanks for showing me around, but it was a bit weird when no one reacted to a walking blue fox." Krystal said enjoying some of the same flavor of his choice.
"There are three others like you and I mean anthros. They have their own job as they have skills acquired to do that job. It also could be that they are used to seeing digimon, but it was a couple of years ago with the D-reaper event." Ace explained getting a nod from his friend.
"I can tell that you were training recently and quite extensively. Are you a warrior of some kind?" She asked.
"Getting prepared for what might happen, but it was a long 10 months. Some old mentors of my parent's old group advised them to train harder than before." He said and she was thinking kind of knew the twins would have that kind of warning. Having a guess at her next question, he explained what digimon are to her and the events that lead up to the D-reaper event. After getting a large scoop to go, they left to head back to the park and it seemed to close for the sunset.
"I wish my days were peaceful, but that seems to never happen." Ace said enjoying his ice cream.
"Maybe you and Fox could get some ice from a frozen planet, get some syrup, and make snow cones." He offered and she had a giggle, but nodded all the same.
"That seems to be a good idea." Krystal said as Ace jumped and kicked an energy attack back. Ace had a frown before finishing his ice cream.
"Attacking me at school should have been enough punishment to keep you down for at least a couple of days. You should be extremely lucky, us three didn't try to kill you." Ace said getting in front of Krystal. Rena-chan appeared beside him ready to help.
'A metalmamemon, a starmon, and a hidden one.' He thought and got a nod from Rena-chan.
"I'm guessing this is routine for him?" Krystal asked and Ace nodded.
"Really is. He keeps bothering me when I walk my friend and sister home from school." Ace said with a frown.
"I think this is where my training comes in." Ace said before using a single hand sign. "Henshin." He called out as his clothes changed to his combat gear.
'Dad definitely helped me out with the shorter way to cast the long spell.' Ace thought.
"Rena-chan, take the Starmon and I'll deal with the MetalMamemon." Ace said as they went to fight.
"Krystal, you need to get help. I don't trust him to fight fair here." Ace said as she nodded before leaving the park.
"Digi-Tamer-Modify: WarGreymon's Shield Trigger." Ace called out as a shield protected Krystal from a sneak attack.
Rena-chan was able to take the starmon relatively quickly, but kicked the Starmon into the bully as it was turning back into a digi-egg.
"Diamond Storm." Rena-chan called out, nailing the ultimate with pure precision and causing it's attack to backfire.
"Return in Peace." Ace said before cutting the ultimate into pieces and it faded into data.
"And there was one." Rena-chan said.
'I don't like this.' Ace thought as the bully whistled for the final digimon to appear and there was only the faint sound of chilling laughter.
(AN: Who's' That Digimon?! Ya, I had to do that here.)
"You actually got a mega level digimon to work with you? Plus the worst one to give the first gen of heroes trouble." Ace said feeling pissed off from the gull the bully had to bring something like that to fight him.
"A freaking Piedmon." Ace said, pulling out a card with his digivice.
It was indeed a Piedmon and one at the top of a list of digimon that Ace hates with a passion. Icedevimon because of Rika's fear, Puppetmon is lower on the list mostly because he is annoying, Cherrymon is on that list due to brainwashing the principal's older brother, and Myotismon being third on that list for killing a friend of the principal's wife.
"Rena-chan, leave this to me. I know you aren't ready level wise, but the moron crossed a line." Ace said, slashing the card without looking.
"Digi-Tamer-Modify: Alter Trigger." Ace said as Rena-chan left, but stayed to help him one way or another.
"Trump Sword." The mega said throwing its swords at him.
Ace dodged the throws and got in close before punching the clown hard in the face. Ace still had control over his anger, but he was going to put those 10 months of work to use.
'Seems like he is using the card effect passively this time.' Rena-chan thought.
"I used to be scared of you, but not anymore. I'm ending you for good." Ace said as his digivice glowed with a symbol on the screen.
'He passed the test.' She thought, but he missed it. Ace jumped at the clown reject and made him swallow his own swords before punching him in the stomach. A flash appeared and three cards appeared before Ace, each card showing a digimon. A card flew to his hand as it appeared to be an attack card.
"Digi-Tamer-Modify: Paladinmon's Omni Splendor Blade Trigger." Ace called out as a white, gold, and purple energy sword appeared in his right hand. Ace said nothing as he cut the clown to pieces. The effect of his family card was gone too.
He was falling, but his partner, Rena-chan caught him. There was the sound of running feet and she saw Kasumi and Rika rushing to them. Another sound of feet hitting the ground. Kasumi saw their friend, Krystal, with her two senseis; but it confused her.
"Thanks for getting help, Krystal. We were in the area and ready to step in to help the kid, but it seemed he was able to do it on his own." Ko said in a calm tone.
"Senseis, you let my little brother fight a mega digimon on his own?" She asked before feeling Ace pat her shoulder.
"Beat that moron up for me, please. He somehow got it to work with him, but I fought for our parents and the other heroes." Ace said before Kasumi got a smile and Rika joined in. They took the bully who was trying hard to struggle free, but it won't work. Michael walked over to Ace and went to check on him.
"He is fine, but some rest and food will help him get back to normal." He said as Rena-chan nodded.
"I hear you, doctor." Ace said in a nearly sleepy tone.
Kasumi and Rika came back without the bully, but the twins know that they haven't killed him yet.
"That fire turkey would like that punk, but we are going to try and revoke his digimon tamer license after this." Ko said as Michael nodded.
"Krystal, your ship is repaired and ready to go; but you might want to stay to see your guide and make some friends before leaving." He explained and Krystal nodded her head. Ko took her to the shrine while Michael took a last look over Ace and went to pick up the bully.
"You have the day to get him back up to speed, but keep him close." He said to the girls before leaving with the bully over his shoulder.
Kasumi changed to her amazonian size so she could carry Ace in her arms as Rika and Rena-chan were on both her sides.
"He passed." Rena-chan said to both girls, but Rika was surprised.
"What test?" Rika asked.
"Looking fear in the face and not giving in. We agreed to end it in the fight with Myotismon, but the final test was one with the one he hated most." Rena-chan explained.
"He really is a knight at heart. He saved us from our fears, but could look at his fear and not blink." Kasumi said, kissing Ace's head gently.
"Those two that knew Krystal. They were your sensei?" Rika asked and Kasumi nodded her head.
"They told me that Ace-kun and you, Rena-chan, will be their next students. However, only on your terms and at the right time." She said.
They brought Ace home and took him to Kasumi's room since it had more space on the bed. Rena-chan told the parents what happened before hugging the fox, thanking her for staying by him. Kasumi had Ace's left side on the bed, Rika the right side, and Rena-chan holding him while staying on his chest. Soon they went to take a nap, but remained in light sleep in case he woke up.
It took a couple of hours, but the girls felt Ace starting to move on his own. Kasumi went to get something made for him as Rika and his partner were helping him sit on the bed.
"Why am I in Kasumi-nee's room?" He asked, still groggy.
"We brought you home after your fight with the mega and Kasumi carried you in her arms all the way." Rena-chan said.
They helped him down the stairs while Kasumi was making food and setting it on the table for him. There was a knock on the door and their mother opened it to see the twins with their digimon and Krystal. They were led inside and sit on the couch.
"Good to see you are recovering, Ace-kun." Michael said just before Ace nodded his head.
"Nice to see you again, doctor. However, I remember seeing both you and your brother around me a lot when I was growing up." Ace said in a low tone.
"We lived in a faraway town so we do come by and help your parents out raising you. We also trained your sister for the past 10 months, but we weren't going to leave you out. It would have to be on your terms and when the time is right. We can tell that you have more power in you by your family's blood, but it will take time for it to awaken." Michael said and Ace nodded.
"I will accept the training when we feel ready for it and not before." Ace said.
"Despite seeing your mature side, you should still be thinking of things your age. However, we do like your outlook on our offer." Ko said.
"Who are you two?" Rika asked.
"Ko and Michael Shinokaden, heads of the Shinokaden family shrine." Michael said.
"Ace, thanks for showing me around. I'm going to see about getting you a chance to get into the academy to fly an Arwing and gain some classes you want there." Krystal said and Ace was thinking about it.
"Like I told them, probably more in the future and not right away. Also It would mean a lot if my friends could make it there with me." Ace said and she nodded with a smile.
"Of course." She said with a giggle.
(AN: This version of Ace knows of Starfox and I still plan on him going into space to spend some time in the academy. Don't worry, that will happen in the future.)
As the time got closer to the dead of night, the tamers and the digimon were sensing something evil this way comes.
"First step in the path." Michael said before calling the first gen in a group call, minus the parents of Ace and Kasumi.
"Shake a leg and try not to break a hip, the old leech is coming back and we need to go. Meet up by the spot where you all took him out and he killed Wizardmon." Michael told the group before ending the call. Rika and her Renamon looked confused, but Kasumi beat Ace to it.
"It's Myotismon." Kasumi told her and they nodded. Their parent's partners came in the room hearing Michael's call of battle (call of duty is bad in taste and won't be using the reference).
"We will get another chance to end this properly." LovelyAngemon said with SlashAngemon agreed with her.
"I would say let us old school show how it's done, but even I can tell that you will need this fight." The father said with an unusually serious tone.
"Rika-chan, call them except the youngest ones. They still need their sleep." Ace said as she pulled out her cell phone.
"Calling tamers, we got a live one." Rika said.
All of them left the house to meet up with the old group and the tamers. Soon all of the digiDestined made it to the former battlefield of the first fight of the digiDestined in the human world. Both Ko and Michael were looking around the building trying to sense something, but Ace and the digimon were the ones who sensed a digimon that should have stayed dead.
"So the old have decided to teach a new generation and I see two old pests that come to join the slaughter." A voice said like an old Englishman as a being walked out of the shadows revealing a Myotismon and all three gatomon champion variant digimon were growling at the return of the dead vampire digimon.
"They know how you fight, but they passed the torch to us and they still help out." Ace said, pulling out his soon to be signature card.
"Digi-tamer-modify: Alter Trigger." He said as the area around him and Rena-chan became slightly distorted.
"He is right. Renamon walk all over him." Rika said and her partner nodded.
"I may not be a tamer, but I will still help to protect those precious to me." Kasumi said and the tamers nodded to her, especially Ace and Rika.
"ILLUMINA POWER!" Kasumi before a flash blinding Myotismon then Ace with Rena-chan charged first.
Calumon appeared next to the twins who were holding him in a firm grip.
"Calumon, stay and watch. You might see something cool." Ko said and the digimon nodded.
"Oi, rookie won't be enough for the likes of him. Go to ultimate." Ace's father said.
The fighters that were in the d-reaper nodded before channeling their d-powers into their digivices.
"Guilmon matrix digivolve to...WarGrowlmon."
"Terriermon matrix digivolve to...Rapidmon."
"Renamon matrix digivolve to...Taomon."
"Leomon matrix digivolve to...Grapleomon."
"Guardromon matrix digivolve to...Andromon."
"Cyberdramon is already ultimate and Marineangemon is a mega." Ryo said.
Ace was sensing something around him and it was trying to tell him something.
"Cover me. I have to do something." Ace said to the tamers who nodded as their digimon went on the attack.
"Come on, we will be a second wall if that one gets through the kid's digimon." Ace's father said seeing his son floating in a meditative position as he was concentrating. The older generation positioned themselves in all directions like a 8-point star compass.
Kasumi and the tamer digimon were fighting Myotismon while Ace was trying to find the source of something that is calling to him.
"Grisly Wing." Myotismon said as bats was swarming the digimon and Kasumi.
"Starshine Cannon." Kasumi said, firing a large ray of light at Myotismon burning the wave of bats as some of them dodged the bright light.
"Thousand Spell." Taomon said as she jumped into the air and thousands of seals were binding the leech before exploding.
"That was an explosion worth being an explosion." Ko said.
Red and blue flakes of data were gathering around Ace as he was concentrating on the voice that only he hears. The data was gathering around his hands and he was almost breaking into a sweat.
"Come on, we know you want to see her again and her friends." Ace said in a coaxing whisper.
The twins caught what he said before realizing what Ace was doing.
'He is trying to get wizardmon back.' They both thought. The speed of the gathering data was speeding up and it was taking the shape of an egg.
"Help them! I got this." Ace said to the adults still focusing on his task. They looked at each other before following his order.
The twins and their digimon were still by him and his partner was by him as well.
"Biyomon blast digivolve to….Garudamon."
"Tentomon blast digivolve to….. MegaKabuterimon."
"Gomamon blast digivolve to…...Zudomon."
"Patamon blast digivolve to…...MagnaAngemon."
"Gatomon digivolve to… Angewomon."
With the older digimon in the fight, myotismon knew he was in trouble so he had to think of something. The egg was almost complete so Ace needed a couple of seconds. This gave him the out that he needed.
"Crimson Lightning." Myotismon said dodging while attacking, aiming for Ace.
They see the attack aiming for Ace, but they knew they wouldn't be able to stop it in time. Kasumi was growling before the card she had with her started glowing.
"No, not again!" Kasumi yelled before she was glowing a bright white light.
"Just finished in time." Ace said knowing both the attack and his hero was coming at him nearing the same time.
"Digi-Tamer-Modify: Illumination Digivolution Trigger." Ace's voice said as the card triggered without ace using it. It was triggered by Kasumi's powers and with Ace's alter power still being active.
(AN: Surprise! Kasumi is a digimon in this story and it links with her powers.)
A pair of wings burst from her back as lights shine to hide her form. She is covered in a silver sleeveless bodysuit with braces on her arms, ankle boots and shin guards from her knees to her shins, silver armor covering her torso, and a visor covering her eyes from view. Ten gems appeared circling her before it stopped; small pieces flew from the gems to make a tiara placed on her head and the gems combined into one gem placed on the chest part of the armor. Energy flowed into her hands before using it to work her power over the elements. Her eyes gained a glow of energy, but stayed the same color as before. Her body stayed in the original amazonian height while her hair flowed into a braided ponytail that reached the middle of her back. A silver star appeared on her armor as her symbol.
"StarIlluminamon, the Gem Knight." StarIlluminamon said, shocking everyone minus Ace.
"Sun Shield." She said blocking the blood whip with an energy shield made of light.
"Did you know?" Rika asked Ace.
"No, I didn't. However, it was the blank card that appeared for her." He said as he was holding the card.
"It must have been triggered by her heart while using her power to rescue me." He said before Myotismon was a distance away from the group.
(AN: Whenever Kasumi digivolves, I'm calling her by her name to keep it simple and easier.)
"StarIlluminamon, champion level, Free type, no attribute, attacks are: Sun Shield, Spiral Starburst Cannon, Fading Stealth Rush, Twilight Flare Cannon, Illumina Force Wave, etc..." Ace said as his digivice picked up Kasumi's new form (Kasumi will get more moves).
"Now, witness my true form." Myotismon said before darkness was gathering around him.
"Get him." Ace called out as Kasumi went charging while Taomon was her backup. She was charging energy into her hand forming a ball before it grew, forcing them apart after each bit of time passes.
"Talisman of Light." Taomon said using her giant brush to paint kanji and it turned into a beam of light. It landed on the black shadow causing it to disburse a bit, but the whole shadow fell apart.
"He is still around." Ace said before Rika could ask.
"Spiral Starburst Cannon." Kasumi called out before seemingly teleporting and firing a wind, light, and fire mixed beam guided by her ki at where she felt the shadow appear behind and got a hit.
"To think my sister is an anime nut." Ace said knowing where that stance was from. Kasumi had a blush on her face, but turned her head.
The darkness regathered before growing into something fitting a kaiju fight. Ace gave the digi-egg that he put back together to the principal and his wife.
"That egg holds the spirit of your friend so don't lose it, ok?" Ace said, breathing hard.
'Can't move again for a few seconds.' He thought, seeing the datapire going into another form.
"VenomMyotismon is back." Tai said.
"And we will take him down again." Matt said.
"Just like when we were kids." T.K. said.
"Agumon warp digivolve to...WarGreymon."
"Gabumon warp digivolve to...MetalGarurumon." Ace had gotten a hand up by his Rena-chan.
"You passed my test when you faced your fear. I accepted you as mine when we met for the first time. Your soul and heart spoke to me during that time. I'm proud of you for being my tamer." Rena-chan said and lifted the necklace that Ace was wearing as it was glowing.
"If I wasn't, then I would ask how and then change my approach." Ace said after drinking something from a flask given to him by Michael to replenish his energy. Before Ace appeared a red and blue mixed card that looked to be one of those mythical blue cards. With a slightly confused look, he grabbed the card and he took his stance spinning his digivice.
"Digi-modify: Digivolution Trigger." He said his own renamon was surrounded by data codes.
"Renamon digivolve to..." Her voice said.
Spinning the camera on his renamon, she gained 9 tails, she gained some muscle like agility was key in her training, and a copy of his gear appeared on her. Same shade of purple shin guards as her arm guard, but wearing black open foot sandals instead of his boots. The sword is at her waist like a samurai position and pale blue fire emits from her tails and paws.
"Kyubichimon." She said smiling at Ace who looked surprised.
"Gogglehead, has he been taking lessons from you about drawing digimon and sliding it through the digivice?" Rika asked.
"Never going to let that go, are you?" Takato asked with a deadpan look on his face.
"I didn't draw this." Ace said, giving Rika a blank stare.
'He did draw something, but he never drew something like this.' Kyubichimon thought.
"That form was guided by his dreams and maybe even that card of his." Michael said.
"I did draw something as a starting idea, but it was never finished and it didn't look this good." He said, making his partner blush.
"Have you ever thought about using your digivice on it?" Rika asked.
"Never." Ace said as they watched their friends and older digimon fight the ugly side of the datapire.
"Kyubi-chan, go help them out ninja style." Ace said and his partner nodded before vanishing like the wind.
"Kyubichimon, champion level, light type data attribute, uses Burning Dragon Strike, Diamond Shuriken Storm, Dragon Power Paw, and Fox Spirit Blast."Ace's digivice beeped showing info on his partner.
"Twilight Flare Cannon." Kasumi said, firing a silver beam at the mad beast digimon.
"We have to bind him down again. Get him surrounded and use your crest power." Tai said and the older group followed his order. The giant datapire noticed an opening and fired a beam from his eyes targeting the tamers. Ace noticed the attack, but he was still weak.
"MOVE!" Ace yelled forcing his body as his energy flared causing the Alter power with both his mind and soul to react.
"Ace Digivolve to…"He said as he was becoming a blur.
The camera circled Ace like it was Kasumi and his partner. His clothes changed into black samurai armor with digicode on the shoulders meaning courage and warrior. Another sword like his own appeared at his waist and a dark red helmet with kanji for honor on the helmet.
"Samurimon." Ace said with his voice sounding deeper as he used his sword to deflect the eye blasts into the ground. The only ones not surprised by this were his partner, his parents, and the twins with their digimon.
"This is taking the first step of realizing your knight form, Ace-kun." Kyubichimon said and Samuraimon nodded before glaring at the giant.
"Samuraimon, champion level, null free type attribute, uses Justice Strike, Ancient Spirit, Honor Shield, and Samurai Speed Strike." Kyubichimon said reading off Ace's digivice.
The first gen shook off the shock before they got into position and they were focusing their energy into their crest power as they used their own digivices to focus it at the giant.
"Taomon, bind him." Rika said and her partner nodded.
"Thousand Spell." She said before firing more seals on the giant and then exploding like before causing some minor damage.
"Kasumi-chan, Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon, team up for the final explosion." He said and they nodded.
"Terra Force!" Wargreymon was charging his signature move.
"Metal Wolf Claw." MetalGarurumon was readying his signature move.
"Illumina Force Wave." StarIlluminamon charging energy from all gems into an attack
"Ancient Spirit, Samurai Speed Strike." Samuraimon was charging in by using his first attack as a follow-up. He was cutting the datapire up everywhere and hovered over it's head channeling more energy for his final attack. Using even more speed, he stabbed the monster in one side of its crotch and used enough force to push his sword making the cut to the other side of the crotch.
"Now!" He said as all three fired their attacks. The three attacks merged into one massive attack. The core of the giant appeared in the hole Ace had made and it freaked the tamers out like the first gen back then. The giant was becoming into data and the three newly transformed digimon had reverted back to normal as two humans and a renamon before Ace fell to the ground and fainted. Kasumi had even reverted to her normal form, but her smaller size.

The Kamen parents went to check on both Ace and Kasumi as Rika checked on Ace. The other tamers checked on their digimon while Rika's renamon checked on Rena-chan. Ace is drained from pushing himself to the limit and Kasumi fainted from using a secret art from her illumina powers. Rena-chan fainted from the energy her next level took from her.
"We need to get them home and in bed. However, they have done pretty well for their first job." The kid's father said as the twins nodded agreeing with him. With some magic of their own, the twins fixed the damage done from the battle and took everyone to the Kamen household. The parents with Rika put all three in Kasumi's bed for the night.
"Is there something going on since there has been no way that people could become digimon." Rika said.
'Oh, the team after this one will surprise her. However, she won't be left out in the future. Ko thought.
"Ace already explained about kasumi. For him, it was due to a wish he made that was granted by the digi-gnomes." Ko said.
"If her card lets her become a digimon, then…." Rika's thoughts trailing off as she held her own card in her hand.
"Obviously there is a difference between both your and her cards, but yours won't react the same way." Michael said with a soft yet clear tone.
"It will be a while before those three wake up, but only then we can talk about what happened. We should add the other three tomorrow and you kids have the weekend to recover." The mother said as the tamers pulled out their phones to call their parents. The older folks of the first gen went home for the night because they still have jobs to do.
Chapter 6 has been revamped and edited mostly, but some sentence tenses remain and that is fine. It seemed like Ace, Kasumi, and Rika had a full day and got a taste of the first boss on Ace's path of the White Knight. I changed Kasumi's digimon form because it wouldn't have worked with her new body frame. Rena-chan needed a change, but not a big change.
Kasumi: I wondered why you made that change, but it makes sense now.
Me: I also tried naming that secret art that requires a chant to a different name, but the original name just works better and took out the chant. I have more planned on that, but that won't be mastered for a while.
