The World Has Fallen

Chapter 6

Atlas: Geeze, let's keep going. One to the next chapter.

D.N.W.: I hope you guys are still with us, so let's see what happens next shall we?

Adventure Bay, Washington, USA

US Army FOB Alpha (Lookout remains)

Time: Wednesday 0700 (7:00 am)

"So, what you are telling us is there is a serum that you want us to test/use that could not only just make us stronger and faster like Captain America but also more intelligent, more endurance, more basically everything?" Alpha Col. Hunter would reiterate to the Crusader Industries CEO.

This small meeting would be had in a small tent off the side of the plateau away from most of the other operations. Fuchs and Rosalie have been charged with making sure no one gets within earshot of what is being said in the tent. The good thing about that is that because Chase is the commander, he simply just ordered everyone to stay away from the tent until otherwise. Being soldiers and having obligations to follow his orders without question.

"That is what my scientist has advertised. Having skimmed through the files Lupe has gifted you, our enemy has no idea or plans to counter. God, I'm going to sound like a salesman but, at the end of the day, I'll take it as well. In fact, I will test it first and after that would you take it?" Morgan said, trying to make it sound better than it was.

"How much stronger are we talking about? I have built up the past year and I'm sure Everest has too because of the situation that isn't getting better. So will it improve from where we already are?" Chase would ask.

"That is what he has said," Morgan said.

"How much do you trust your scientist?" Everest questioned.

"He has done a lot for the company as well as the country for a very long time. I pay him well and we have been great friends for the past twenty years. He is the original idea for this serum. I trust him, believe me," Morgan explained.

In this situation, Morgan can't blame them for being skeptical. For something that has never been tested and them being the first to use it, they have every right to be concerned and question it. Then again, what other choice do they have? Storm wants them dead, and this will make it a whole lot more difficult to kill them let alone give them similar power to Deckard. Just this time it's a sane scientist and not a mad scientist that Morgan, by far one of the smartest men on the planet, trusts them.

Chase would look to Everest, and she would then look to him. Like if they just mentally checked with each other. Chase then said, "What else do we have to lose?"

"Nothing," Everest finished, "When can we get it?"

"You sure? I can test it myself if-" Everest cut the CEO off.

"We will take it, Morgan. No need to put yourself at risk. We have nothing to lose and anything to either get back Marshall or to avenge him will make me happy," Everest yelled.

Chase looked at the husky, never seeing this side of her before. She is 100% determined and doesn't care about the side effects of this untested experiment. Morgan would just nod in shock and then look at Chase.

"I'm with her," the German Shepherd stated, "When is the soonest you can have us?"

"You can come at any time. You just need to be relieved of command first," Morgan explained while getting out some papers from his briefcase, "Like everything in life, contract time. Just like all the other contracts from me, not a lot except this time, I will be held liable for I am literally testing on government agents. Just read 'thoroughly' and then make your mark and I will make mine."

"Morgan, you don't have to hang yourself for us," Chase tried to negotiate.

Morgan was firm, "I will do everything in my power to reverse any harmful effects done to you by the serum. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't try. So, read and sign and do not let the government know."

"They won't get word of anything," Everest said as she made her mark and signature. Chase would then also do the same.

Once the documents were signed by both the canines and Morgan, the CEO would put them in his briefcase and lock the case tight. Morgan would then take a breath but instead of his usual line he says, 'Pleasure doing business.' He would say, "Guess that is that. Come to the HQ building anytime and we will get it done."

"Will do, and thank you, Morgan," Everest said while looking at Chase.

"Thank you, Morgan," Chase would say then look to Everest. He would nod and they would exit the tent where Fuchs and Rosalie would be waiting for them. Morgan would also leave.

Fuchs would come up to Chase having heard everything that was said, "You sure you want something that is untested in you? What about us and the Nightwatchers?"

Fuchs was concerned for his leadership and for the betterment of the team. Chase would look to the Arctic Fox and say, "Fuchs, understand that Morgan came to us. Everest wanted to do it and I didn't want to leave her in the dark."

Fuchs would look at Chase but then understand where the German Shepherd was coming from. "Ok, if you say so. Anyway, back to military stuff, Atlas and a new commander are coming. Atlas is going to take us back to Colorado, where we will be debriefed and then put on leave until further notice. They realize that we have been through hell and back and need a few days to regain our feet again."

"Atlas doesn't have to do that. There are things to do," Chase argued.

"Yes, but you know how he is. He wants to ensure all his troops are good to go, especially since Deckard and his unit are officially in the ASF," Fuchs reasoned.

Chase would look down at his paws and breathe. Everest would come up to his side and lean in. Both finally ran out of adrenaline and realized they both haven't slept for the past 48 hours if not the past 72 they can't remember.

"One more thing before we all pass out," Rosalie would say, her German accent being apparent, "Atlas also said that in order for the Nightwatchers to operate we need four members, or we will be disbanded and split. He listed off lots of candidates but none of them have experienced combat and all of them are fresh out of Atlas Training Corps (ATC)."

"He also said that if none of them fit then we can choose someone of our choice. However, I think we all have a pretty good idea of who we want to be the next Nightwatcher," Fuchs stated while also turning towards Everest. Chase and Rosalie would also look to Everest who would then stop leaning on Chase and stand up straight.

"What? Why?" Everest asked, surprised.

"Well… where else can you go?" Chase offered, "With us, we can all get our revenge. Plus, we could use you and you can use us."

Everest would blush a little but soon would control herself and then say, "Alright, sure. I'll join you, just tell me what I need to do to get the same uniforms as you."

"I think Atlas got you covered," Fuchs stated.

Two Hours Later

Time: 0902 (9:02 am)

The no-fly zone was lifted over the town just so that the new commander and Atlas could fly in on a fleet of helicopters that comprised of a few different types of helicopters, the infamous AH-64 Apache, UH-60 Blackhawks, CH-47 Chinooks, but also the latest V-280 Valor, and Defiant X next-generation helicopters. As the massive wave of helicopters descended on the town more troops, equipment, food, water, and most importantly, ammunition would be delivered by the Blackhawks, Defiant Xs, and Chinooks, while the Apaches provided escort and now the town's new close air support. Three Valors would land at the FOB and a new man would exit the lead aircraft. He would be wearing the traditional US Army Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) but his rank would show to be a Colonel.

Chase would walk up to the Colonel and salute the man who would do the same to Chase, "Good morning, Col. Hunter. I'm Col. Slover," the Colonel would identify himself. Chase would then notice that this man had a 75th Ranger Regiment, Airborne, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and SERE. This was a man who did things in his past.

"Good to meet you, Colonel. I wish it was for better circumstances," Chase would respond.

"Indeed. I have orders to replenish these battalions and take command from you," Slover said as he handed over his orders from the Department of the Army. Chase would look at them and they are real and authenticated.

"Very well," Chase would then get the attention, as well as Col. Slover.

Slover would then salute and say, "Permission to take command, sir?"

"Granted, I relinquish my command to you, Colonel Slover of the US Army," Chase stated as he saluted back.

They would relax and now Col. Slover would have command of the 2nd Battalion of the 39th Infantry Regiment and the 1st Battalion of the 20th Armor Regiment. Chase was still an Alpha Col. of the ASF he is just in charge of his team like it should be.

Just as they finished that up Chase would look to another one of the Valors and see that Director Atlas would be in his Gun-metal suit with a blue tie and white undershirt. Chase and his Nightwatchers along with Everest would approach their commander.

Before they could go to attention and address him, he would wave them to just relax and not be formal, "*Exhales deeply* Are you all alive?"

"Most of us," Chase stated. Atlas would look down in sadness and shame.

"I should have known they would have set up an ambush," Atlas said, starting to blame himself.

"Atlas," Fuchs would say, "It wasn't your fault. You didn't know. No one knew that they were that quick to react."

"That's the thing, we should have expected it. Storm has become more and more predictable as things happen. We should have had enough brain cells needed to predict that he would ambush our best team in the ASF," Atlas reasoned, "I'm sorry for your loss Chase."

"Thank you but she would want us to move on and continue the fight. Same with our other fallen brothers," Chase said while looking to Everest who looked to Atlas.

"Everest, good to see you again," Atlas said, trying to lighten the mood.

Everest would look Atlas straight in the eye with a face that said, 'I want to be a part of this team.'

"Atlas, we request that Everest be the newest member of the Nightwatchers," Chase stated before Everest could ask.

"Of course, get on board and we will make the arrangements and also get you all back to your base," Atlas stated without question.

London, England, United Kingdom

British SAS Military Base - Foxtrot Alpha

Frostbite was able to move Deckard to the medical wing of the base to see what type of damage was done to Deckard's back. Frostbite carefully examined the wounds, and found out that Deckard's back was severely damaged, his spine was shattered and some of his organs and arteries were shredded. If it wasn't for Deckard's demon form, he would have been dead hours ago.

Realizing the severe extent of his friend's injuries, Frostbite along with the medical personnel from the base did a long but painful surgical procedure that was created for when the President created the G.R.F. The surgery included injecting a special medical serum into Deckard's damaged spine, organs, and arteries. Frostbite also planted a total of nine cybernetic implants into Deckard's back, five were placed in a straight line from the base of his neck to where his missing tail was supposed to be. The other four cybernetic implants went into his sides with two on each side. Frostbite then connected a black robotic tail onto Deckard's body to replace his missing one. Once Frostbite was finished stitching up and bandaging Deckard's back and took a step back, he saw that both he and Deckard were almost covered in blood.

Frostbite went out and told Rocky, Sweetie, Scout, Zephyr, and the remaining members of Cemetery Wind that Deckard will survive, but he would be in severe pain when he woke up.

Frostbite proceeded to ask Killshot and Scout to help carefully clean Deckard's body while he gets himself cleaned up. Killshot and Scout stop cold when they look at Deckard and see the condition that Deckard was in was heartbreaking, but both Killshot and Scout proceeded to carefully clean the dried blood out of Deckard's fur. Once Frostbite was done cleaning himself up, he went to check on Deckard whose entire body was sleeping peacefully under a warm blanket. As Frostbite got closer to his leader, Deckard's body slowly rose like a zombie rising from the dead, scaring Frostbite nearly to death.

"HOLY SHIT!" Screamed Frostbite, as he jumped at the sight of Deckard's body rising.

Rocky, Sweetie, Scout, and Killshot ran to the room and stood in shock as they saw Deckard standing on all fours, however, he looked completely different.

Deckard now had a very deep dark shade of gray fur with black Komodo dragon scales. His black robotic tail now had details of purple color bio lights on his tail, his claws were glowing the same purple bio-color as his Komodo dragon scales that were also outlined with the same purple bio-colors. The only thing that seemed to have stayed the same was his gold-colored eyes.

"Brother, you, okay?" Asked Rocky, walking up to his brother.

Deckard looked at his new body and saw the new robotic tail.

"What the hell happened?" Asked Deckard, in a sad calm voice.

Suddenly images flashed through Deckard's mind as he remembered the betrayal of his and Rocky's supposed family.

"You, okay?" Asked Deckard, as he turned to his brother.

"Not really," said Rocky.

Deckard walked out of the infirmary and caught sight of everyone else, including the D.W.O.

"I don't care what Lupe or Chase says, I want all five of them in separate cells until I figure some stuff out," said Deckard, as he pointed to Redfang and his team.

"Shall I inform the President of our situation?" Asked Sidian.

Deckard looked at the D.W.O and his team.

"No, the President will have me kill them immediately, no questions asked. Besides, as much as it will make me want to yak, we're going to need their help," said Deckard.

"Understood," said Sidian, as he and others placed Redfang, Chameleon, Shifter, Deadeye, and Plague into different cells.

"Did you just disobey an iron-clad presidential executive order that could get you thrown into a maximum-security prison for life, and if not that you could face execution yourself?" said Killshot.

"Killshot, I will handle it. By the way, I'm placing you in temporary command of this team until I return, Scout will act as your second in command" said Deckard, before taking Rocky and disappearing in a puff of smoke before anyone could respond.

Nightwatcher Home Base, Colorado, USA

Time: Friday 1430 (2:30 pm)

Protocol states that when an ASF member dies in the line of duty only direct family members and spouses are allowed the choice to pick something from the fallen's belongings in order to remember them. Whether it be a picture or a weapon. Atlas has allowed the Nightwatchers to pick something for they were really Skye's only living family left. As a group, they decided that they would keep a picture of the old team as well as her favorite and signature Makarov pistols. Everything else after her funeral yesterday was piled up alongside some of the belongings that she and Chase shared as a couple.

She was given a military honor funeral as well as awarded the US Military Silver Star for her gallantry and sacrifice to her teammates. The surviving Nightwatchers and their newest member, Everest would watch as Chase threw the last thing of Sky's and his on the pile. As much as Chase loved her, he couldn't sleep in the same room as they did ever again. That room has been cleaned out and is Everest's new room while Chase gets a different room. Chase would take a deep breath, light a match, and then proceed to flick it at the pile of stuff which then caught fire and burned. As the fire was burning, Chase would join his team above the pit watching the fire burn everything. Chase remained stoic and stood strong as he honored the life of his past girlfriend. If only they married and had pups. What would the world have been like if those terrorists from so long ago didn't attack Adventure Bay in the first place? What if they just had a normal life? What if Storm didn't become corrupted? There were so many ifs, but Chase knew that reality can't be ignored.

As weird as it sounds, Chase has moved on. Not because he wanted to but because he had to in order to keep his job, his team, and himself sane. He did it for the sake of Skye, Fuchs, Rosalie, and Everest. If he didn't move on, who knows what would have happened?

For Everest, things have quickly changed. She has had a day to reorganize herself and finally get some sleep and has moved on from Marshall for her sake and for what Marshall asked her to do. Both Chase and Everest have lost so much, and Fuchs and Rosalie are proud of both of them for taking it in and then letting it go. Atlas is most proud of his first team not completely falling apart and has stated that they should be stronger than any other team now for their bond with one another including Everest has only gotten stronger.

The team would watch for the next half hour as the pile of things burned and turned to ash. Nothing but ashes would be left by the time the fire dies. When it did, the four of them would go back inside the base and finally, fully relax.

Chase would be in the main living room of the base and jump on one of the large bean bags they had. This one was new for it had that new beanbag smell while his other one was burned in the pile for, he and Skye would always either nap in it together or just sit in it and watch a movie. He wouldn't bother turning the TV on and just sat there. Fuchs and Rosalie would head to the kitchen to cook something up that would hopefully lighten up the mood of this solemn day. Everest would join Chase in the living room and sit on the other bean bag next to his.

Chase would notice her presents but wouldn't look over. Instead, it would take a long deep breath and then say in a low quiet voice, "It is difficult isn't it."

Everest would look over at the German Shepherd with a solemn face that was tired of crying and would respond with, "Yes, but as we have done. We moved on. As hard as it is, I'm surprised we both have."

"Everest, I'm glad you wanted to join the Nightwatchers. We didn't want to force you into anything but, I'm glad you joined us," Chase said while tilting his head in her direction but keeping his eyes forward at the turned-off TV.

"I'm glad you're glad. I think we just need each other for not only did we both lose ones that we wish we could have lived forever with, but we are both about to go through a procedure that will change our lives forever," Everest pointed out.

Chase would nod and then lay all the way down on the beanbag and start to think and contemplate. Everest would slowly and surely move closer to him. Subconsciously, Chase would do the same until they felt each other lean into one another to comfort each other from the amount of loss and bullets that had been shot through their hearts. The PAW Patrol was done, that is for sure. Rocky, Everest, and Chase are the only original survivors of everything that has happened in the past week. Now, Rocky has Deckard and Chase and Everest have each other, and Fuchs and Rosalie. Soon enough they would fall asleep and get more rest that they very much needed.

Lupe's Home Base

Several miles away from Anchorage, AK.

Time: Friday 1450 (2:50 pm)

Lupe and his family would arrive back at their home base with everything still intact. The ship would be docked inside the protected cave where they store all their boats and ships for the AM. Commander Zion would greet them as Lupe, Artemis, Redstone, and Curtis exited the ship.

"How are the preparations coming?" Lupe asked his commander.

"They have been going as smoothly as you would expect after such a betrayal," Zion stated. Zion was an arctic wolf from the northern parts of Greenland. He was nothing but white and could speak many languages including Dutch, "We did get attacked by some of Storm's forces, at least we think they were Storm's. Thanks to your warning we were prepared enough to fend them off and cause massive amounts of casualties. Only six of our own were injured and no one else died."

"Good, good," Lupe said as he and his companions headed into the base and secured the docks. They would start heading to the Command in Control Center, "What about Redfang and his operatives? Have they made it back or did they betray us too?"

Zion would look to his leader and then say, "From what we gathered they are now in custody in Great Britain by orders of Deckard."

Lupe would then make a face that was less than pleased," How the Fuck did they get there?"

"Deckard had them teleport with him after they were attacked by Storm's forces. But that is not the most surprising thing we have analyzed," Zion continued.

The group would make it to the command room where other canines would be busy working away trying to identify everything by basically hacking into every known camera on the planet to get eyes of Storm's people, but on Abstergo, and this new threat known only as the Blackgate Hellfire Club.

"Go on," Lupe stated while getting up to the command monitor.

"Ethan and Maria have been identified and connected to the Blackgate Hellfire Club. The faction works with others until they are not needed anymore. They want to make a new world order and have partnered up with Storm's gang. Ethen and Maria are trusted by Storm," Zion explained.

Before anything could happen or anyone could stop Lupe, the gray timber wolf would have shot out of rage and would smash one of the monitors with his paw. Glass would shatter all over the floor and Lupe's paw would look like he didn't just punch something, "AHAHAHAHAHAH! Curse those traitors. Kill them, shoot to kill," Lupe would grab Zion surprising the arctic wolf, and would say, "If anyone sees them, they are to kill them or capture them if possible. I would love to ask and then kill them myself." The old bloodthirsty Lupe has returned.

Everyone in the room would look to their leader and then he would growl, "All of you! Who else wishes to stab me in the back?" The room would be silent. You could hear a pin drop. Lupe would be showing teeth and panting, pissed as ever. "Let these two traitors be an example of what will happen if you think you want to betray me and the AM. That is all."

Lupe would leave the room with Artemis behind him. Everyone would watch as their leader left. Redstone would then shout, "GET BACK TO WORK!" And would then follow his friend into the hall.

Timberwood, North Dakota

The old home of the Lennox's

Deckard and Rocky were sitting in their big old, abandoned home in Timberwood, North Dakota that they used to live in before their lives changed forever during their trip to Adventure Bay. Deckard and Rocky were just sitting in the dark not saying a word to each other, not that they were angry at each other, but they were both mentally broken not knowing what to do.

After Deckard grabbed Rocky, he teleported them to their old home in Timberwood, North Dakota. Rocky understood why Deckard brought them here, this was their true home, maybe they'll find something, some clue, anything, but sadly to their mentally broken minds, they came up empty.

"I can't fight anymore," said Deckard.

"That's a surprise, since when are you the one to just quit and give up?" Asked Rocky, surprised by his brother's comment.

"I made so many mistakes in my life, but the one I regret the most is abandoning you back when we were pups," said Deckard.

"Don't blame yourself for what happened on that day, hell for all we know that was probably the beginning of their master plan" said Rocky.

"That's a high probability, of course, we'll never know," said Deckard, upset about everything.

For the first time in a few years, Deckard broke down and started crying like a baby puppy wanting his momma. Rocky hugged his brother as the two of them cried in the dark as the effects of the betrayal of their supposed mother, father, and brothers hit them like a freight train.

"Rocky? Deckard? … Is that you?" A voice asked from the doorway.

Rocky got up and drew out his Beretta M9s while Deckard showed his teeth and claws.

"Who's ever there, show yourself before we Swiss cheese your sorry ass," said Deckard, wiping the tears from his eyes, and clearly in a bad mood.

The figure stepped into the light, and it was someone that Deckard and Rocky both knew very well.

"Smoke!" Deckard and Rocky cried out as they ran to greet a childhood friend of theirs.

"How did you find us?" Asked Rocky.

"Well, a canine named Scout Roadcliff called a friend of his from the CIA and that friend called me and this is where I knew you two were going to be, so here we are," said Smoke.

"Wait, what do you mean we?" Asked Deckard.

"You should know Deckard, you two had a very close bond back in the day when you did a few CIA missions," said Smoke, as he moved to the side to reveal his companion.

The figure that entered the house was a person that Deckard knew so well, it made him jump into the stranger, making them tumble outside the door and down the steps of the house.

Smoke and Rocky watch as Deckard playfully wrestles around the front lawn of the abandoned home with the stranger.

"It's good to see you again, Danny," said Deckard.

Danny, who was a white-tailed deer with a silvery white fur coat. However, Danny suffered from an illness at a very young age and the result was that Danny could never grow antlers on his head like all the other white-tail male deer's. However, Danny would grow up to be one of the best CIA agents, but it wasn't the missions that he did that made him famous. In training, Danny was the only one to go head-to-head and almost beat Deckard in a sparring match, then again Danny was the only deer around, as most of the operatives were canines, with some felines, but still, most were canines. Danny wasn't going to let the permanent loss of his antlers and life dictate what he could do and what he couldn't do.

Once Danny and Deckard stop roughhousing, Danny finally got a good look at what Deckard looked like and was stunned at what he saw.

"Damn Decks, what the hell happened to you!?" Asked Danny.

"Yeah, I'm even clueless on what happened to you," said Smoke.

"It's a long story," said Deckard.

"A very long story," said Rocky.

Danny and Smoke looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.

"Will take that as your word," said Danny.

"So, you guys are going to join us or do you have someplace to be?" Asked Deckard.

"We're with you until the end," said Smoke.

"Now let's grab Delta and get on outta here," said Danny.

Rocky and Deckard stop and look at each other before looking back at Smoke and Danny.

"Who's Delta? " Rocky and Deckard asked in unison.

Crusader Industries HQ

Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Time: Saturday 0900 (9:00 am)

Morgan and Edmund would be in a medical room along with other Crusader Medical personnel as well as Chase and Everest laying down on two medical beds and hooked up to an IV heart monitor, blood pressure reader, and so many other things that a man like me can't describe nor say because I don't know. Morgan would want everything to be mitigated so that as little as possible could go wrong. Chase and Everest have not eaten for the past 14 hours, have only drank water, and were given a shit ton of drugs to loosen up their bodies to prepare for the change they are about to get.

"The chamber should be ready in about five minutes," Edmund informed Morgan.

"Go make sure everything is going well and that no surveillance is going on. No more than three other people in the room. And those three are the only three allowed to enter besides you, me, and our two patients," Morgan ordered.

"Of course, sir," Edmund would then leave the room to check on the chamber that both Chase and Everest are going to head too soon.

Chase and Everest would be laying down quietly and thinking. In just a few moments their lives will be changed forever and there is no turning back. Whether this is going to be a good or a bad change they will have to wait and see. Morgan would be quiet not knowing what to say to the two canines that are hopefully about to become some of the most powerful animals on the planet.

More moments of silence would make the air anxious. The canine's vitals would spike with stress. Morgan and the nurses in the room would notice and then try and calm them down.

"Hey, Chase. Everest. Relax, you'll do great," Morgan said, trying to reassure them.

Chase would look to the CEO. His face would say everything, but also tired.

"Sir, we are ready," a nurse came in and spoke.

"Let's get this over with," Everest stated trying to calm down.

Both Chase and Everest would be taken into the chamber and Edmund would begin.

London, England, United Kingdom

British SAS Military Base - Foxtrot Alpha

Deckard had teleported him, Rocky, Smoke, Danny, and Delta back to London to prepare for a trip back to the United States, but first, they had some business to attend to.

Delta was a female wolf with silver fur and violet-colored eyes, she was a member of the General Directorate for Internal Security (Direction générale de la sécurité intérieure (DGSI)) and leader of a team in the Directorate for Surveillance of the Territory (Direction de la surveillance du Territoire (DST)) division which was plain clothes operational service tasked with counterespionage, counterterrorism, and economic security. She had left the DGSI because it had become boring, and she wanted to do more in her life. Deckard was more than happy to add her along with Smoke and Danny into his family.

"Alright listen up," said Deckard, as he addressed the people in the room which were Rocky, Scout, Zephyr, Sweetie, Danny, Smoke, Delta, Killshot, Sidian, Cyanide, Smokey, Shadow, Frostbite, Delgado, and Echo.

"I know it's been hard on all of us with how things are happening in the world, some of us have lost friends and family," said Deckard, looking at what remained of his team, their heads were down as they reflected on how their brothers were killed.

"However, we will fight back and give these guys the beating that they so rightfully deserve. However, we will not turn into monsters and lose control of our emotions. We will bring down the Blackgate Hellfire Club the right way," Deckard continued, as he started to receive nodes and cheers.

"We're going to leave for the United States, so we can give our fallen brothers a memorial that they so rightfully deserve, and one more thing, we are no longer Cemetery Wind instead we will be known as the ShadoWolf Combat Unit," said Deckard, as he raised his right front paw in the air with everyone following suit.

"FOR OUR FALLEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS, WE WILL STRIKE BACK AGAINST THIS DARKNESS AND BRING LIGHT BACK INTO THIS WORLD!" Deckard howled out with all the canines in the room howling with him.

The newly named ShadoWolf Combat Unit, (SWCU) gathered up their gear. However, Deckard took a trip down to the holding cells. Deckard got down there and came face-to-face with the D.W.O members in their cells.

"Come with me," said Deckard, as he unlocked their cell doors.

With confused looks, all five D.W.O members followed Deckard to a runway with a small cargo plane prep for takeoff.

"All of your gear and weapons that we confiscated are already loaded into the plane," said Deckard.

"Wait? You're letting us go?" Asked Shifter.

"Tell Lupe I'll contact him shortly regarding Ethan, Maria, Glacier, and Ash," said Deckard, as he walked away from his former enemies.

Deckard entered a C-17 plane that would take them to an airfield located somewhere in Timberwood, North Dakota, and then the dead bodies of Deckard's team would be transported to a big grassy field where they would be put to rest. Deckard placed his left front paw on each of the seven caskets that were covered with the American flag and whispered, "I'm Sorry".

Deckard settled down next to Sweetie and gave her a quick kiss on her forehead. Deckard noticed his brother sleeping on the opposite side of the plane, but what shocked him was that he was cuddled up with Delta. Both had small smiles on their faces and they looked so cute together too.

Deckard smiled at his brother before the stress of not sleeping or eating in the past few days finally took its toll on him and Deckard along with all the other members of the newly named ShadoWolf Combat Unit were fast asleep, as they went home.

Lupe and Artemis's Private Quarters

Time: Saturday 1450 (2:50 pm)

Lupe would be on his and Artemis's bed waiting. Waiting for what? A call.

Soon enough his communicator would activate, and he would respond, "Lupe here."

"Sir," It was Redstone, "You have an incoming message from… Deckard."

"Route it to my quarters," Lupe said.

"Yes sir," Redstone would then end the communication.

A screen in Lupe's room would then turn on and a familiar face would now show up, "So Deckard, what do you have to tell me?"
