Hello Everybody, Zelda777 here with another chapter of Love in Romani Ranch. I hope you all are enjoying the story so far. If you don't want to miss anything please follow. Also please review and tell me what you think.
Once they got to clock town Romani grabbed Link's hand and they walked to Honey and Darling's game store.
"There is an archery game that you can try." Link said, "But there is a moving platform you must stand on."
Romani shook her head. "I don't think I could do that just yet, is there another place that has archery without you having to stand on a moving platform?
Link thought for a moment, "Now that you mention that, there is one next door to here."
"Let's go there instead."
They turned around and noticed that Cremia had walked out of the Milk bar but she didn't notice them as she walked to the Stock Pot Inn.
"She's probably going to talk to Anju." Romani said, "She always does this after she drops off the milk to the Milk bar."
"Your ranch's milk is the best in Termina and possibly in Hyrule."
"You think so."
Link nodded his head, "Yes, I know that it is better because you take good care of your cows."
"That's true ever since we, I mean I should say you saved the cows from being abducted like last year they've been producing delicious Milk." Romani replied, "But, they didn't start doing that until you showed up at the farm."
Link looked at her. "They didn't start until I showed up."
"That's right, they are probably thankful that none of them got abducted."
They walked into the Clock Town Archery Arena but no one was at the counter. There was a sign right next to the still platform that showed who held the current record.
Romani was shocked to see that Link was the current record holder. "Look Grasshopper, you are the current record holder here."
Link looked at what she was pointing to and saw that she was right. "I didn't know that I held the best record until you showed me I didn't know that they had a record system."
"We normally didn't, but until you beat my record I decided to make one."
They turned around and noticed the guy at the counter.
"How long were you standing there?" Romani asked.
"Long enough to know that you have a nickname Link," Moka said. "That's a pretty nice nickname."
Link turned red knowing that someone outside the ranch heard Romani's nickname for him.
"My brother, Koto, who owns the Swamp archery, told me that you beat his record too."
"Did he start a record board too?" Link asked, "Because I am pretty good with a bow."
"Yeah, you should see him with a bow on a horse," Romani added.
"If you don't mind my asking when did you start shooting a bow?" Moka asked.
"Well I've been shooting a bow since I was 11, but before that, I used a slingshot," Link replied.
Romani was curious about how long Link was able to use a bow but didn't have the courage to ask.
Moka looked at him. "Are you serious I started shooting a bow when I was 14?"
"How long did you use a slingshot?" Romani asked thinking about starting with a slingshot before she starts with a bow.
"Not long before I used a bow." Link replied, "When I was 10 years old."
Moka looked at him, "Were you a hero back in Hyrule?"
Link nodded his head, "Yes, I was known as the Hero of Time."
"Did you travel through time?" Romani asked curiously learning things about Link she didn't know before.
"Yes, I traveled back in forth from 7 years into the future and back to save Hyrule from a Gerudo named Ganondorf who stole the Triforce when I opened that gate to the Sacred Realm because I was too young to get the Triforce."
"That's interesting and how old are you now." Moka asked, "Aren't you an adult having lived in two different."
Link shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not sure but at this point, I am 12 years old almost 13."
"So how can I help you two today?" Moka asked.
"I'm looking on teaching Romani to shoot a bow." Link replied nodding towards her.
"So you are Romani who Link talked to me about."
Romani looked to Link, "You told him about me."
Link blushed at the thought of what he told Moka.
I hope he doesn't remember what he told him. Link thought. I told him that I had a crush on Romani.
"I don't remember exactly what he told me but it was sweet." Moka said, "Well, you came to the right place to practice shooting."
Link and Romani trained til' just about lunchtime. They rode on Epona back to the ranch for lunch and once they got there Cremia was there waiting for them.
"How are you two faring?" Cremia asked.
"We were at the Clock Town Archery." Link replied, "Just having some fun."
Cremia looked at their expressions and figured they went on a date.
"So was it a date."
Romani looked down and blushed having a feeling Cremia knows about her and Link.
"I saw you two holding hands if that's what you are wondering about."
"Yes, it was pretty much a date." Link said, not holding anything back because he wasn't ashamed of him dating Romani.
Cremia nodded her head, "At least someone is not ashamed of their feelings."
Romani turned red and faced her sister. "I'm not ashamed of my feelings it's just that you are embarrassing me."
"You two should learn the responsibilities of a relationship before you two get serious."
Link and Romani nodded, "Yes we know."
Cremia walked out of the room and Link and Romani looked at each other and smiled.
"At least we don't have to tell your sister that we started dating." Link said, "You kind of were dreading telling her."
"Yeah, I was because you saw how she responded to it."
"She just cares about you because you are her only family left."
Romani just looked down not understanding why Link is telling her this.
"You're lucky to have a family member care about you because I don't even have a family to do that with me."
"You don't have any family back in Hyrule?" Romani asked.
Link shook his head, "No, I don't exactly know who my father was but my mother was fatally wounded during the war, she then carried me to the Great Deku Tree who took care of me until I was chosen to save Hyrule."
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know that about you." Romani replied, "But, now you don't have to worry about that now because eventually, we would be a family."
The thought of Romani being his family cheered him up a little bit. "So don't be mad at your sister."
"I'm not upset with her anymore knowing what her true intentions are."
"I think you should go apologize to her." Link suggested, "I mean I think you kind of hurt her feelings when you told her that she was embarrassing you."
Romani looked down knowing that Link was right. "You're right I will go tell her right now."
"Do you want me to come with you?" Link asked.
Romani shook her head. "No, it's something I should do alone."
Once Romani left Link just sat there wondering if he did the right thing.
Once Romani was out of Link's sight she walked to the barn knowing that is where her sister was.
Link's right if we do become family then he wouldn't be alone. Romani thought. Cremia is my only family left and now soon Link will be a part of the family.
Romani walked into the barn and saw Cremia brushing the cows again.
"Sis, are you in here."
Cremia turned to face her sister. "How did you find me?"
"You always come here when your feelings are hurt."
Cremia looked at her sister, "What are you trying to do, hurt my feelings more?"
Romani shook her head, "No, I came to apologize."
Cremia looked down as she listened waiting to see if Romani continued.
"I'm sorry for saying that you are embarrassing me and I know now that you really care for me because I am your only family left. I didn't realize how much family means to me until Link told me how he grew up."
"How did Link grow up?" Cremia asked curiously about what Link told her.
Romani took a deep breath. "He was an orphan and raised by a Spirit of the Forest. He didn't have any family to care for him as you do for me."
"I didn't know that about Link and I accept your apology."
Cremia held open her arms and Romani ran into them. As they were hugging each other, Link was standing at the barn door and Cremia noticed him and nodded her head in thanks. Link smiled and nodded as if saying you're welcome. Once they were done Romani turned and noticed Link standing in the doorway and she ran to him and hugged him as well. But what she did also to him caught Link by surprise. She kissed him on the cheek.
"Thanks," Romani said. "You helped me repair my relationship with my sister."
"I love you and you're welcome." Link replied as he kissed her on the cheek back.
"Alright, you two love birds we should go celebrate the start of your relationship," Cremia suggested. "At the milk bar if that's alright with you Romani."
Romani nodded her head, "I don't mind but I don't have a membership."
"The owner made an exception for you because you are my sister and I bring him most of my supplies."
"Thank you."
"But Link you still have to show your proof of your membership."
"Let me go get the mask." Link said as he turned and left to his room.
"You really, love him don't you," Cremia asked Romani.
Romani nodded her head. "Yeah, I do. I want to marry him and raise a family with him."
"As long as you are happy is all I care about," Cremia added. "It's kind of funny that you got a boyfriend before I did."
Romani laughed, "I never really planned it that way but as pretty as you are there aren't many people here in Termina."
"Maybe when you two are married, I could give the ranch to you and maybe go find someone in Hyrule to marry," Cremia suggested as Link returned.
"There aren't many guys in Hyrule either but you would probably eventually find someone here in Termina," Link said.
Romani turned around quickly and blushed to wonder if he heard what Cremia said about her marrying him and taking over the farm.
"How long have you been standing there?" Romani asked.
"Only long enough to hear Cremia say that she was going to leave to marry someone in Hyrule."
Romani sighed in relief and they left to the milk bar to celebrate the start of Link and Romani's relationship.
