Henri looked up from his phone when he heard Izuku enter their hideaway. He saw the vigilante covered in florescent pink paint. A laugh was bubbling in his chest as he raised his phone and took several pictures so Izuku flipped him off.

Henri asked his voice shaking with laughter, "What the hell happened to you? Did you chase a villain through a paint shop?"

Izuku grumbled as he began to pull off the paint covered clothing, "Nezu happened. How the rat knew where we would be patrolling tonight I don't know. Easer almost caught me twice as I tried to return here."

Another voice announced annoyed, "Kage nearly got me too."

Zach entered and seeing him caused Henri to lose any self control he had left. He burst out laughing as the two pouted. One was covered in pink paint and the other in yellow.

Henri said continuing to laugh, "That's what you get for messing with Nezu. Now are you going to leave the rat alone?"

"Hell no," shouted the two.

Of course not. They had no self preservation instincts at all. As much as Henri loved Zach and Izuku like brothers they could be so childish.

...

Nezu warily walked into his office expecting retribution. The prank war between him and the vigilantes had been going on for weeks. It only seemed to escalate after he had retaliated with paint. Though both Shouta and Kage had admitted to being amused by their chase. The vigilantes had gotten away but seeing them pink and yellow had been the highlight of their night.

To his surprise there was no traps waiting on him as he turned the lights on. Had the vigilantes given up? Somehow he didn't think they had. Dread crept up his spine as he headed to his desk. After searching the underside of his desk he had to admit. The vigilantes were done. Finally, he would have peace.

Nezu turned on his desktop computer then jumped onto his chair. Only to find out that he had been dead wrong. The vigilantes were not done as he had been led to believe. Loud popping sounds scared him causing his fur to fluff out and he jumped out of the chair. The popping continued as his chair settled.

Then there was silence as he stared at his chair. What in the fuck? Nezu ended up having to take apart to find out what was causing the sound. Party poppers, a small bag of explosive powder meant to be thrown at the ground for amusent of children. He was going to make that vigilante's life hell. Once all the poppers were removed he put his chair back together and ran a paw down his fur. It was rare that he was startled enough to get such a strong reaction out of him.

Nezu jumped back onto the chair and was relieved when nothing else happened. Then he went to log into his computer and it happened again. Loud popping sounds startled him causing his fur to flare out again. Delta was a dead man.

...

Izuku sneezed as he was reinforcing the door to their hide out. Katsuki was keeping it in place as Izuku worked and thus glanced down at him concern in his red eyes. A small smile was given in return. Most likely it was just someone talking about him. He had a pretty good idea of who after what they had done to Nezu's chair.

Katsuki asked, "Are you well?"

Izuku waved him off, "I'm fine. It's likely a certain Rat God cursing my name."

Confusion flickered across his friend's face before he asked, "What did you do?"

"Why do you think I did anything?" He asked with a smile.

His friend's eyes narrowed, "Becauae I know you. What did you do to Nezu?"

Izuku snorted, "I may have gotten my hands on Party Poppers."

When he didn't continue Katsuki prompted, "And?"

"And I may have put them in the Rat God's chair and keyboard," snickered the green eyed vigilante.

A dumbfounded look came across his friend's face. Then he asked incredulously, "You did what?! Nezu is going to murder you for that. You realize that right?"

Izuku grinned, "He won't kill me. Douse me in paint again but not murder. Besides he likes being kept on his toes."

"You're insane," said Katsuki with a shake of his head.

They bumped shoulders and laughed easily. It was a carefree laugh that escaped the greenette. Izuku felt more relaxed than he had in awhile. Despite needing find and kill Shigaraki and All For One he was finding it in him to face being young again. Mentally he was nearly thirty but physically he was fourteen. Emotions and hormones. They made his life difficult at times but at others times they were good. Like now.

The laughing continued as they finished with the door. Then they brushed dirt off of their clothes. While it wasn't that big of a deal for the greenette as he didn't get much of a chance for laundry. It was a bigger deal for Katsuki who lived with Best Jeanist or Tsunagu as he insisted on being called when off duty.

It was early evening and soon enough Katsuki would have to leave. Things had been fairly quiet for them and they hadn't needed an extra pair of hands. The main group was also still waiting on their new gear and weapons.

Echo and Charlie would be moving into their own cities as soon as they got the gear and weapons. Echo would be heading to Hosu and Charlie had chosen Kamino. Izuku didn't like this. They wouldn't have any support in the new cities. They would have to build everything from the ground up.

For his part Echo had a point when he said, "We know that there will be major attacks in Hosu and Kamino before the Fall. If we don't get set up beforehand then they won't trust us when the attacks are closer. You have to trust us to form our own circles. Just like how you have a circle with the detective, Eraser, and Jeanist."

Izuku knew he was right. It was just hard to be here without them. They had been apart of his life for years and always had his back.

From inside Katsuki's jacket they heard a beep. It was his phone and likely the hero who treated him as his own. There was a flicker of uncertainty in the red eyes.

Izuku said gently, "Go on."

"I can stay," he tried.

Izuku shook his head, "Go. We don't need Jesmist searching for you."

"Fine."

Katsuki was only gone for a few moments when Echo poked his head out from the stairs.

He called out, "Delta, you might want to see this."

There was something serious and dark in his tone. It would have sent shivers down his spine if he was anyone else. Only being Delta for so long kept him from showing any outward sign of discomfort. Something had happened.
