Hello, The new chapter is here. Will Duncan's story be as good as he says? And which girl will be with him? Find out right now.

Duncan's Story (for real)
Duncan leaned in his chair, shaking his bottle to ensure it was empty. Once he was sure, he stood up and stretched his arms.
"I'll take a drink before starting my story. I wanted to be last, but I'll go now because you girls are too eager to hear it," said Duncan glaring at Harold and Trent.
"We aren't eager, and there is no need for empty provocations. It's only fair you also tell one of your personal stories after you mocked us in disclosing one of our own," said Harold adjusting his glasses.
Trent nodded. "Harold's right. There is no need to act like a jerk, even if you're one."
"Ok, dudes, let's chill a little," said Geoff standing between them. "Trent, I know Duncan tricked you into telling us your story, but it was just a prank, dude, don't take it so seriously."
He then faced Duncan, "And there is no need to insult the other guests. We're among friends Dunc. Now just sit down, relax, and tell your story. I'll bring your drink. It's a cold one ok?"
"No, put me a glass of the moonshine," said Duncan while sitting again. He then smirked. "Ok, my first-time story? Well, that was some years ago."
It was after I was released from juvie for the second time. Ok, I wasn't released, I just escaped because the detention center was one of the most boring places I have stayed in. And I lived with my grandparents many summers.
As I couldn't go home because mom and dad would put me on juvie again, I went to stay with my older brother. He at least would have me on his house for a couple of days if I promised to turn myself in again.
So I crashed down on his place. The night was young, so I decided to go out and have a good time before going back to the cell.
I went to a bar some streets away, and there I met her, Audrey. A blond bombshell that I couldn't believe was only 1 year younger than me. She was with her biker's friends. At first, I only-

"Wait a minute, man. Just wait. There is something wrong with this story," said DJ in a loud tone, interrupting Duncan, something uncharacteristic of the Brickhouse.
"Eh? I'm just getting started," said Duncan rolling his eyes.
"That's fine because this story is bullshit right from the start," said Noah narrowing his eyes at the delinquent. "You went to a biker's bar while underaged, and they just let you in, really?"
"When I said I was underage?" replied Duncan pointing at the Indian guy.
"First, you said that was when you were out of juvie for your second time. Adults go to jail, not juvie. Second, you said before the show. We were all 16 years old when we competed in Total Drama island, it was a requirement to be part of the show, remember?" replied Noah, then his phone vibrated, "And sorry, I'd love to keep roasting you, but I have a call."
The delinquent glared daggers at Noah, "That was because I was a rebel, and I didn't care about that. What if I went to a biker bar when I was 15 years old?"
"Dude relax, he can't hear you," said Geoff giving him a glass of moonshine. "And also I'm with DJ, dude, you always said your first time was with Courtney. How is that now you're telling a story about a biker girl?"
"What? Duncan's first time was with Courtney? Oh man, I can't believe it," said Cody making a wide smile.
The delinquent coughed, almost choking on his drink. "When did I say that?"
"In all the parties we used to have after the first season, man. Did you really forget it?" said DJ, looking at him with wide eyes.
Geoff raised his hat a little to have a better look at Duncan, "Yes, dude, before you started dating Gwen, you always tell us that story. Are you so drunk that you forgot? Or are you being shy because it's about Mocca?"
"Gosh, Duncan's the first person to accuse everyone of lying, and he's the first to lie about his own story," said Harold, folding his arms. "I mean after Cody, of course."
"HEY!" protested the brunette guy, making the rest of the guests laugh.
However the delinquent ignored them. He stood there looking at Geoff and DJ with wide eyes. Yes, he remembered the story he used to tell them. So it may be best to go with that one.
"Ok, ok, I'll tell the real story. Damn, you're really some busybodies," replied Duncan, smirking.
Duncan's Story (Seriously, the third time is the charm.)
It was the night Total Drama Action ended. Courtney and I were in the show's parking lot, taking her parent's car to go and dine in some fancy place. After all, we not only came back together, but we were free after some weeks of being trapped on the show. But the day was far from over.
"I have to say that even if not everything went as I expected, the result wasn't so bad," said Courtney smiling smugly.
I looked at her with wide eyes, "You say it as if going back together was the consolation because you and your lawyers didn't win the million. But if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to date me."
"Don't twist my words. I really want to go out with you," Courtney answered, narrowing her eyes at me, "You're still mad because of the list I gave you, right?"
I was only teasing her because I love to tease her, but then she had to remind me of the damn list. So I decided to go with that, "Can you blame me? You give me a 36-page list of things to change to keep dating you."
"There were only 18 pages!" Courtney replied, looking at me with wide eyes.
I just blinked, "Yes, on both sides."
She blushed and huffed, "Ok, 36 pages. But it wasn't to keep dating. It was to make you the perfect boyfriend."
"Are you serious?" I asked, trying to sound cold and serious, but this was becoming too stupid, and I wanted to laugh at it. "You asked me to wake up every morning at sunrise!"
"Maybe I went too far," she said, looking at me sadly, "We can reduce it maybe to 20 pages if I let go of some of the less important things."
I raised a side of my eyebrow. Courtney sometimes could be stubborn, but I could also play the same game. "I just remember I have other plans tonight," I said and started to leave the car.
"10 pages? 5 pages?" she said as I opened the door and put a foot out of the car, "Ok, you win, you win. Let's forget about the list." Courtney grabbed my jacket, looking at me with that kind of face you can't say no to, even if her face was still covered in blue ink. I still wonder what the hell she did to paint her face like that.
I smirked, put my foot again on the car, and closed the door, "Don't freak out. You're more important than any other plan."
Courtney pouted and narrowed her eyes, "yes, yes, that's exactly what I was thinking right now."
"So? where did you want to go, Smurfette princess? A French restaurant? Maybe an Italian?" I asked, smirking.
"Smurfette?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, "What are you talking about?" She then looked at her face in the rear mirror. Instantly, her eyes went wide before she started to scream.
"WHAT IS THIS? DUNCAN! How long have I been looking like this?" shouted Courtney, scowling at me.
I chuckled, "You didn't realize it? You have been blue since you voted for me to win the season," after answering her, I smirked. She seems so hot when she's angry.
"We're stopping at the hotel! There is no way we're going anywhere with me looking like this," she said, biting her thumb.
"C'mon princess, blue suits you. And I just know the perfect French restaurant," I told her, waggling my eyebrow.
She just gave me a death stare, pouting. I replied by winking at her. She kept giving me that look.
"Ok, we'll go to the hotel," I said. I didn't want to make her really angry.
Annotation: Harold
"Wait a moment, before continuing, did this really happen like that?" asked Harold, adjusting his glasses.
Duncan took a sip of his glass of moonshine, "What do you mean, Doris?"
"What I mean is that the whole foundation of this story sounds too phony. Would Courtney really be so kind to forgive you after you betray her in the show?" asked the beatboxer, tilting his head.
"Yes, she was," said Duncan shrugging, "you don't know her. Courtney may be demanding and sometimes too competitive. But once there is no competition, she usually relaxes a lot, even back then."
Geoff whistled and looked at the guests with wide eyes. "Yes, Dude. I remember visiting her with Bridge, and she was really different. She gave us some cookies she baked, we had some great and funny conversations, and she never uprooted any lamppost."
"I doubt she usually uproots lamppost. It was a one-time thing, wasn't it?" said Trent raising an eyebrow, giving Geoff a concerned look.
"Dude, that makes sense! Now I understand why Bridge always laughed when I told her we need to take helmets with us when visiting her," said Geoff laughing and rubbing his neck.
Duncan made a forced laugh and scowled, "If you all ended clowning around, let's continue with the story. In the-"
"I wasn't clowning around. I'm concerned about the authenticity of this story," replied Harold, narrowing his eyes at Duncan.
DJ smiled and waved his hand, "Don't worry, Duncan had told us this story many times. He wouldn't lie now."
The delinquent smirked and glared at Harold."Happy Doris? Then as I was saying…"
We rent a room in the Intercontinental, a nice place near the CN Tower, and not too expensive. Well, it wouldn't be so expensive if we didn't reserve a king suite on the 25th floor. Sometimes princess really acts like a princess.
Whatever, we entered the room, and it was a fancy and nice room with beautiful sights and a jacuzzi.
"I'll take a shower quickly, and then we'll go out to dine," said Courtney taking off her gray sweater.
I waggled my eyebrow. "We can take that shower together if you want."
Her answer was throwing her sweater at my face, blushing. "You know I hate that kind of lecherous jokes," she added and then stormed into the bathroom.
While she showered, I decided to change my clothes. After all, the ones I was wearing were the same I used in the challenges. I put on another T-shirt with my favorite skull, but black pants and a black coat. I also changed my spiked choker for one with only a skull.
Then I lay in the king-sized bed and watched tv. At that moment, I didn't realize there was only one bed in the room. I watched some random action movie while waiting for Courtney. And at last, she came out of the shower.
She was wearing only a bathrobe, her skin sparkling beautiful while wet. Her hair was down and without make-up. I was sure she was a fucking angel.
I held her in my arms and kissed her upper lip. She threw me into the bed and took off my coat and shirt-
Annotation: DJ
"Wait, man, are you skipping the date?" asked DJ, frowning at Duncan.
"Dude, you can't do that. The date is the best part!" Geoff pointed at the delinquent while holding his beer.
Duncan rolled his eyes, "Really? you want to hear that again?"
"I don't know the story. And now I'm kinda curious," said Trent, smirking.
"You aren't curious, damn Elvis. You only want payback because you told us that Gwen's story," said Duncan glaring at the musician.
"I want to hear your story. Did my reasons make any difference?" Trent shrugged casually.
"Yes, Duncan, tell the full story. I'm sure it will be awesome!" Said Owen, his eyes sparkling.
The delinquent finished his glass. "Alright, alright, I'll tell you the whole thing."
And at last, she came out of the shower. She was wearing a long green dress with a slit that showed her legs and spaghetti straps, with little make-up.
"ONLY ONE BED!? Duncan, are you crazy?" Courtney shouted, looking at me with wide eyes as if I was some kind of dangerous animal.
I shrugged, "It came with the suite. And don't worry about it, we'll only use it to sleep," then I looked at her from head to toes, "And you? Isn't that dress too formal?"
"It doesn't suit me?" she asked, twirling in a confident movement.
"Of course it suits you," I reassured her, and of course it suited her. She looked wonderful. "But I wasn't thinking about anything too formal. Maybe go to a nice restaurant but nothing fancy. You know, no more than 1 fork at the table."
She looked at me, lowering her eyebrows and talking in a disheartened tone. "Dunkie, it's your victory dinner. We should at least go to a good place. I'm not saying an expensive place. But at least a place we can remember fondly."
I ran my hand across my mohawk. That wasn't my plan. "C'mon Princess, it's MY victory dinner, and I don't want to spend it on a snobbish place."
"Because it's our special night, I don't want to dine at a bistro," said Courtney in a worried tone.
I raised a side of my eyebrow, "What the hell's a bistro? And why did you say is OUR special night? I'm the one that won the show."
"A bistro is a dive bar, a dump," she explained in that sexy teacher tone she used when she was at the limit of her patience. "And it's OUR special night because we're celebrating YOUR victory. Please, I don't want to fight tonight."
And even if I never run from a good fight, I also didn't want to break up a couple of hours after coming back together.
"What do you think we go to Old Scotch? Isn't so snobbish, but I think it's not a pisto?" I replied in a snarky tone.
She rolled her eyes and sighed. "The word is bistro, and ok, let me change to something more comfortable."
"Don't do that," I said, jumping off the bed, "You look ho-, ehem, very beautiful. Let me change for something more formal."
In a moment, I changed my t-shirt for a white shirt and put on a more formal black jacket. And then we went to Old Scotch.
Annotation: Cody
"Old Scotch it's a great place. I remember going there with Trent, Harold, and Justin a few times," said Cody, showing a nostalgic smile.
Trent nodded, "yes, it was a little expensive but quite comfortable, and the seafood was wonderful."
"But it's not a classy restaurant. Did you really trick someone like Courtney on dining there?" said Justin raising an eyebrow.
Duncan stood and went to refill his glass with more moonshine, "You can ask those two," he said, pointing at DJ and Geoff, "they're working to make sure what I said it's the truth and only the truth. They're worse than my lawyer."
"C'mon man, it's not fun if you make up the story," said DJ, frowning sadly.
"DJ's right Duncan. Even if this competition is vain and banal, once we agree to tell these stories, we need at least to be honest and tell only the truth. That way, we'll make the competition as fair as possible," said Harold raising a finger. "And returning to your story, that night was a karaoke night at the Old Scotch?"
The delinquent returned to his chair. "Don't go so fast, Doris, but you are smarter than you look. As I was saying-"
As I was saying, we took a taxi to the Old Scotch. It was near the hotel so it was a quick trip.
Courtney didn't like the place that much. She frowned when looking at the façade but relaxed when we entered the place.
The restaurant wasn't that big, maybe 14 tables or so. The walls looked as if they were made of some fancy wood, and the chairs were covered in black leather.
"This place is wonderful," said Courtney showing a beautiful smile, "I mean it isn't fancy, but it isn't bad either."
I looked at the menu and damn that other places must be really expensive. Because the Old Scotch menu wasn't exactly cheap, 4 dollars for a beer? I began to have second thoughts about coming here instead of a bistro.
Courtney asked for some spaghetti with shrimps, and I asked for a big T-bone. And to spoil my princess instead of a cold one, I asked for a bottle of those red wine chateau that she loves.
"Duncan," she whispered clenching her teeth, "you CAN't order wine. We're underaged, remember?"
I smirked, "C'mon Court, we just came back together, and I win a million bucks. We can spoil us a little with some fancy wine, no?"
She seemed unsure, but once the food was here and she tasted the wine, her worries went out of the window.
We had a nice dinner, we talked about the show, our families, and she gave me a lesson about wines and how to distinguish a good wine from a bad one. I don't remember a damn thing, except aroma comes from the variety of the fruit used in the wine and the bouquet from the fermentation.
After the dinner, while waiting for the desserts, she asked me, "And, what are your plans for the million?"
"I don't know," I answered honestly. Maybe I was tipsy for the wine but didn't give it too much of a thought to princess's question.
"Dunky, you can't be so irresponsible," she told me, with an expression more of sadness than anger, "Most new millionaires blow their fortune in less than 2 years. You need to think about the best way to invest your money."
I rolled my eyes. "It's a million bucks. It won't disappear so fast."
"Why you always had to ignore me when I try to help you?" Courtney asked in a sterner tone than usual. Her cheeks were bright red, probably thanks to the wine.
"I'm not ignoring you, but I want to buy my own place and maybe a bike. I haven't thought further than that," I replied, looking at her eyes.
She sighed sadly, "Why are we always like that? Just look at us. We can't be more different. You ate meat and I shellfish and pasta, and just like that, our opinions are different. Aren't you afraid it won't work?"
I was taken aback. At that time, Courtney rarely showed any doubt or weakness. But I couldn't think of a good answer. And then I have a great idea. Sometimes I wonder if I'm a fucking genius.
"Give me a minute," I asked her and walked to the karaoke machine. I remember it wasn't my turn, but the guy in the queue just let me take his place.
Annotation: Noah
"In other words, you intimidate the poor guy, right?" asked Noah, raising an eyebrow.
Duncan smirked, "He let me his turn. Is there any difference if it was voluntary or not?"
"And then people wonder why you have so few friends," replied the genius in a snarky tone.
I never sing in public and less this kind of song, but I had to do something to comfort my girl. So I went across the song list and chose one of them.
"This song is dedicated to my princess in our 6 hours anniversary. I love you, babe." I said in front of all the damn restaurant's guests. I looked at her all shy and screaming inside, but luckily her smile meant she was happy.
I sang Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters.' It was the closest thing I knew to a love song and was confident enough to sing in public. Yes, I know it wasn't perfect, but Courtney tear up a little, so it was good enough.
She ran and hugged me, probably it was the wine, but she kissed me in my lips.
"You're right, Dunky. Let's forget our worries at least for today," she said in a melodic tone, "now let me sing for you."
I left the machine to her and went back to my seat while she chose a song. She then sang Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You.' It was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life, but I'll always remember it with a smile.
After becoming the most embarrassing couple in the whole place, Courtney decided that she didn't have enough. So she kept singing in the karaoke machine. Her voice was awesome, I don't know why she wanted to be a lawyer if she could be the best singer since Madonna.
The problem is that after singing 20 or so songs, the waiter asked us to stop. So we paid our bill and went back to our hotel.
We weren't drunk, but we were a little tipsy… Ok maybe we were really drunk, whatever. I needed to carry her because I was afraid she would stumble. We were laughing all the way from the hotel's entrance to our room.
"Here we are, Princess, now I'll take a shower. You can go ahead and sleep first," I said after leaving her in the bed.
Courtney stood up and hugged me, kissing me again. This time it was a longer and more passionate kiss than in the restaurant.
"Thanks for a wonderful night, Dunky," she said, her wonderful black eyes fixed on my eyes.
"Any day, Court," I replied before kissing her again.
Duncan story end
"And that it's the full story, guys. Do the examination panel approves it?" said Duncan while glaring at Geoff and DJ.
Geoff ended his beer and tipped his hat. "Yes, Dude. It's awesome. Don't you feel better after telling us the true story?"
"Geoff's right," said DJ, sniffing, "I love the part of the karaoke. You were so cute."
"Yes, it's sooo moving," added Alejandro making a mocking smile, "and to think that only a few months later, you would be cheating on her."
The comment provoked an awkward silence in the room. Only the sound of the fire crackling and the snowstorm outside could be heard. The guests were waiting for Duncan to go ballistic after the Spaniard comment.
But the delinquent just smiled sadly, "Yes, I was a douchebag. There are no excuses."
"Yes, that is in the past. Let's just forget about it. WHO WANT ANOTHER BEER?" shouted Owen trying to lighten up the atmosphere.
"So your first time was after action? What a let-down," said Cody with a sad smile. "I thought it was in Playa Des Losers."
"Why in playa?" asked Noah, raising an eyebrow.
Tyler looked at the genius with wide eyes, "Don't you remember? On Duncan's first night in playa, Courtney kicked him out of her room, wearing only his underwear and collar. It was really an extreme moment."
"Oh, now that you say it, I kind of remember something like that happening," said Noah, nodding, "but if she kicked him out, then nothing happened."
Owen began to give bottles to everyone while they whispered about Duncan's story. Meanwhile, the delinquent was thinking about what Cody said. The truth was that his story tonight was a lie.
Not a conventional lie. All that he said happened on that night. It was the story he always told DJ and Geoff when they talked about their first times. But for Duncan, his first time was an intimate moment just for him and Courtney, so he never told that story.
It was during his fourth night in playa des loser. He and Courtney found a way into Chris's penthouse in the resort. It was more an accident while they were exploring the place looking for a video of him and the CIT.
They decided to use the place. The host penthouse was awesome. It had a fridge, a giant television, a giant bed with silk sheets, and a huge hot tub in the bathroom. Of course, he couldn't let go of a chance to use it.
They bathed in the jacuzzi using only their underwear, enjoying the view of the moon. They drank some champagne and one bottle of an expensive 1964 Cabernet Sauvignon, using some of Chris' awards as glasses. It was as surrealist as it sounded.
Maybe it wasn't the first night they slept together, but it was the first time she said she liked him and that she had fun standing with him. They slept in Chris's bed and watched some awful movie before returning to their rooms. For Duncan, it was his perfect night and the only worth remembering as his first time.
A worried voice took Duncan out of his thoughts.
"Man, are you ok? Did you fall asleep?" asked Owen, with 5 bottles of beer between his fingers.
Duncan blushed and nodded, "Of course I'm ok. So, who is next?"
Tyler wasn't there. He just went to the bathroom while they talked.
"I don't think all of you're worthy of hearing this story, but I won't be a quitter, so get ready to hear the best story of the night," said Justin, making a beautiful smile.
"You know the rules. It has to be a real story, so nothing like you and princess Sissi falling in love with each other?" said Noah narrowing his eyes at the model.
"Princes who? Is that a Disney Princess? Sorry I don't watch children's movies," replied Justin, shrugging and casually smiling.
The genius rolled his eyes, "Just when I think you reach the lowest level, you always find a way to the basement."
"Anyway, get ready to hear the most handsome story of the night," said Justin, posing and making a sparkling smile.
Author Notes:
For this one, I decided to go for a classic date with some turns. Duncan actually is a more unreliable narrator than others, but he's also more consistent with his retellings. So even if this story is true, don't take everything at face value.
And for Duncan's true first time, it's from "The Art of Pretending It Isn't Your Fault" by Contemperina and Stray Phoenix. One of the best Duncney stories I have the pleasure to read. If you like the couple, give it a chance. It's much more than just a love story.
Fun fact: Noah's reference is about Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria, nicknamed Sissi, a historical icon and highly romantic figure considered one of the most beautiful women in her time with many movies and books, especially the 1953 movie starred by Romy Schneider. So no, she isn't a Disney princess.
Now answering the reviews.
amit. avrashmi: Hahaha, yes, I tried to use a more complex language to make Harold feel a little nerdier. I hope it wasn't annoying.
And yes, it was Courtney (sorry I'm weak against that ship), and next week will be the more interesting one, Justin :D I hope you will enjoy it.
Fernanda15fa: I'm glad you liked it. I love to make Harold so smart that he overlook simple things, like the menu. He wanted to pamper LeShawna and forgot about her allergy.
And about Duncan, you were right, it was Courtney. Even if his story wasn't exactly the real deal.
Total Simaniac: Totally agree. Even if anonymous seem like a good idea in paper, it can go wrong quite easily. And with Beth this story would be really different. I hope that even if it didn't surprise you you enjoy the story.
And Duncan was with Courtney. Yes I could play a curve and use Gwen or another character, but for the moment I wanted to use it was Courtney's turn. I hope it didn't disappoint you.
As always, thanks for reading, and I hope you like it, no forget to review.
