Welcome, today is the 10th story. Would Tyler tell his xtreme story? And is it as good as he says? Find out right now.

Tyler's Story

The jock sat at the room's center, in front of the hearth. He was holding an almost empty beer bottle while Owen and Ezekiel shared some more beer and moonshine among the guests.

"Hey amigo, is there some wine left? I'm a little tired of drinking beer," asked Alejandro showing an empty cup.

Owen looked around the table and found a bottle. "There is still one bottle. I'll fill your cup in a moment."

"Pour me a cup too, Owen," said Justin making a mocking smile. "It would be a shame that only Alejandro enjoys this good wine."

"Didn't you say you won't drink something I brought?" asked the Spaniard, narrowing his eyes.

Justin shrugged. "That was then, and this is now, also is better than drinking beer."

Alejandro glared at the male model. Obviously, Justin only wanted to drink wine to finish the bottle, so Alejandro had to drink beer or moonshine after finishing his cup.

Harold smiled and adjusted his glasses, ignoring Alejandro's inner drama. "I also want some wine, my good Owen. Wine is one of the most ancient alcoholic beverages in the world. The oldest wine was found in Jiahu, China, and was dated from 7000 BC it was found…"

Tyler walked in front of Harold and interrupted him. "That is awesome bro. But I'm sure my story is more amusing than your archaicological anecdotes because it's a true story."

"I think you wanted to say archeological," Harold corrected him, and then raised his finger like a teacher. "And even if it's not a first-hand anecdote, I can assure you my stories are also true…"

"Harold, you're right but can you let Tyler start his story?" asked Cody looking at him with a sheepish smile. "Your history facts are great, but I'm really curious about his XTREME story."

Harold folded his arms. "Gosh! I don't know why I even try to teach you some interesting facts of general knowledge."

Nobody paid attention to Harold's disgruntled expression. All the eyes focused on the jock who was starting his story.

"This happened 3 years ago…"

This happened 3 years ago. My pops told me about this new reality show for teenagers like me in which I could get 100 grands. I only needed to compete in challenges and beat another 21 guys and gals while staying in a luxurious resort for 75 days. It was a no-brainer.

So I filmed my audition tape with some wild moves and sent it to the network. I wasn't interested in the money but in the challenges and the chance to show my awesome moves on international tv.

Annotation: Noah

Noah interrupted Tyler raising a hand."Wait a moment! Are you telling again the story of how you started dat…"

"STOP BRO! No spoilers," said Tyler running and covering Noah's mouth with his hand."

The Indian guy pushed him away. "What spoiler? Everyone here knows this story. You already told it when we were in the Action aftermath. And then again when we were together in World Tour."

"But it's really awesome, and maybe someone hadn't heard it. Right guys?" asked the jock with hope in his eyes.

"Sorry man, but I was there when it happened, and you tell me the rest of the details during the second season," replied DJ rubbing his neck.

"And I heard about it during World tour too. Like 5 times actually," said Alejandro shrugging and closing his eyes.

Tyler looked at the floor with a distressed expression. "Then maybe I should tell a different story."

"I never heard this story," said Trent making an awkward smile. "so go ahead and tell us."

"That's great!" shouted Tyler, jumping and making a fist pump. "Sorry guys but I at least had to tell the story for Trent and all the other guys who didn't know it."

Trent smiled as the rest of the guests looked at him with suspicion. If he didn't know the story or did it to cheer Tyler up was something only he knew.

The jock continued. "After some weeks without hearing from the network, I forgot about the show. I assumed I wasn't chosen. But one day…"

But one day I received a call from one of the producers. They loved my audition tape and wanted me on the show. They would pay for everything during the 8 weeks stay and the 100,000 dollars prize if I won. I accepted, and before a week I was already at Muskoka, waiting to start the show.

The show would take place on an island in the middle of Wawanakwa lake. The staff was really supportive, giving all the information and help they could, except anything related to the other contestants or the living quarters. That was so cool. It was like one of those reality TV shows.

Annotation: Geoff

"What a coincidence. The same thing happened to me. What are the odds, dude?" said Geoff in an excited tone, raising his hat.

As we talked about the first episode and our arrival at the island, the staff mentioned we were going in a motorboat. So I asked if I could go water skiing instead of just riding the boat. I mean who wants to just lazily ride a boat when you can do it in an EXTREME and FUN way.

So I got into the boat and rode those waves like a dolphin on skis. Well there weren't really waves on the lake, but I rode that water like a boss.

When I saw the dock, I decided to do some barefoot water skiing and finish with a jump across the water and over the dock. My initial plan was to land on my feet next to Chris. But I put too much strength in the jump and had to use the other contestants' baggage to cushion my landing.

Sadly I hit the baggage at a bad angle and threw one of the suitcases into the lake. But it was an almost perfect entrance. Even Chris congratulated me.

Annotation: DJ

DJ was looking at him with wide eyes. "And all these years I believed your entrance was an accident. Man you're awesome."

Then I stood next to the other contestants, and it was when I saw her. Beautiful blue eyes, long and silky blond hair, and a fabulous body. Ehem I mean a nice body. No sorry I mean she was beautiful. I don't want to sound sexist she was just … like … Augh man you know she was wonderful.

At that moment, I realized I was in love with her.

Annotation: Noah

"Wait! I can tolerate just so much of your alternate reality. You didn't notice Lindsay until much later," said Noah raising an eyebrow.

Tyler looked at him with wide eyes. "What do you mean bro? I'm sure it was love at first sight."

"Now that Noah mentioned it. I kind of remember that during the introduction you were on Heather's side of the dock, dude, and Linds was on the opposite," said Geoff rubbing his chin while holding his beer.

"That's because I fell on the baggage, but I was already looking at her," replied Tyler folding his arms.

Duncan chuckled. "Stop pretending. When we took the promotional picture instead of standing next to Lindsay you were also on the last row over Owen's shoulders."

"That`s because I love to appear in the tallest point on group pictures," said Tyler turning his face away, offended.

"Hey! I remember when I hugged you after they announced we'll share cabins, you were talking with Gwen, not with Lindsay," said Owen with a thoughtful expression. He then took a sip of his moonshine.

"Ok, Ok. Maybe I wasn't so into Lindsay at that point," said Tyler putting his hands up defensively. "But I'm sure even if my brain didn't know it, in my heart, I had already fallen for Linds. So as I was saying…"

Ok, maybe it wasn't at that exact moment when I realized that I was in love with her. We took the promotional photo, fell into the lake when the dock broke down, and then went to the campfire to get into teams. I was in the killer bass and immediately went to the cabins when I heard a scream.

I ran as fast as I could, the scream came from the other team girl's cabin.

When I arrived Lindsay was screaming at the biggest and ugliest cockroach I have ever seen. I thought of looking for a hatchet or something to kill it, but Duncan already had the hatchet and killed it. It was just what I was about to do.

Annotation: Duncan

"Oh yes, I practically took the hatchet from your hands," said Duncan in a snarky tone, rolling his eyes but smiling.

So I went to comfort Lindsay after the horrible experience, reassuring her and promising that if she found another scary insect like that, I'd kill it for her. It was there when I actually realized I was in love with her. I'm totally sure this time.

Then we went to the cafeteria, and I stood in the line just behind her. We didn't talk a lot, but we talked a little about our favorite food and how she couldn't take anything with white sugar, white flour, or dairy. She was enthusiastic but also cared about her own health. She was, without a doubt more than just a pretty face.

Then we learned about the first challenge and got changed into our swimsuits. She wore a red two-piece bikini and looked brighter than any star or the sun. I was dazzled but then focused on the challenge.

Annotation: Ezekiel

The prairie boy scratched his head. "Maybe it's just me homies, but I think her bikini wasn't that different from her normal clothes, eh?"

The challenge per see was a disaster. I made a perfect dive, but a buoy got in my way. Luckily I still moved to fall inside the circle. But even after my effort, we lost the diving part and had to carry the boxes without help.

I carried mine like a champ, but we couldn't build the bathtub and ended losing the challenge. When we were in the mess hall, I noticed how Lindsay was discretely worrying about me being eliminated, which increased my confidence about a future relationship.

Annotation: Noah

"Yes, really discreetly. She only Screamed 'NOOO!' loudly when Courtney suggested eliminating you. I can't believe you noticed those small hints," said Noah, sighing.

After the elimination, we have a couple of days before the second challenge. I talked a little more with Lindsay but there wasn't any advance in our relationship. I also got to know a little more about my other team members. Like Eva, that was a little intimidating, Katie who was a great girl, and Courtney, an uptight bossy girl who hated my guts. No offense Duncan.

But then it was time for the next challenge. We have to wake up and run around the island. Piece of cake, baked and eaten. I started running but then found Lindsay who was strolling.

"Hello girl, can I run alongside you?" I asked, slowing my pace.

She just giggled. "I'm not running. There is no way I can run with these boots. But my running shoes are sooo past season that I just can't wear them on international TV."

"Hehe, of course I know what you mean," I said winking, but honestly I still don't have any idea of why you can't wear past season sneakers. "then at least let me walk alongside you."

"If we just walk then I'm ok," she replied, her eyes sparkling, then she looked shyly at the ground. "But are you sure? You're so fit that you can compete for the first place."

I smiled. It was my chance. "Of course I could win this, but I think that spending some time with you is the true first place."

Then I made a cartwheel to show her how happy I was. Ok, ok, I actually stumbled with a rock but tried to make it seem as I was doing a cartwheel to impress her, and I think it worked because then we had a great time.

We arrived at the cabin before Heather, Owen, Noah, LeShawna, and Harold. So Lindsay and I decided to wait for them, and after Harold finally arrived, we went outside to talk a little more without everyone watching us as the odd inter-team couple.

Ok, I said talk, but we actually went to the cabin's back and makeout for the first time. Oh guys it was awesome. We really connected. It was one of the best days of my life.

Annotation: Cody

"Wait! Are you saying you were with her since the second challenge?" asked Cody, looking at him shocked. "Sorry man, but I think you're embellishing the story."

"What? No, why do you think so? I mean I didn't do the cartwheel and just fell on the ground. But I don't think it was that important," said the jock rubbing his neck.

"I think he means about the makeout," replied DJ blushing. "But I think it's true. At least he told us the same story to all the guys in the bass' cabin."

"But if that is true, then why there isn't any footage of them making out in the episode. Chris really loves those sloppy scenes. I mean, they weren't as handsome as me but weren't an ugly couple either," said Justin, raising an eyebrow.

Tyler shrugged. "I'm not sure. But when we were watching the episode with Paula, Lind's sister, we even talked about how we didn't appear in any scene after the race and before the big sleep."

"If our amigo says it happened, then I believe him," said Alejandro taking a sip of his wine. "So let him continue with his tale."

"Thank you Al, sorry I mean Alejandro," replied Tyler covering his mouth. "What was I saying…

We then have the challenge. Linds was great and had awesome ideas to stay awake, like standing upsidedown. I'm not sure if that really works to keep you awake, but she looked really cute trying to do it. In the end, I fell asleep during Chef's dance, like 39 hours in the challenge and I'm sure she lasted a little longer.

Sadly we didn't have a lot of time after that. We were all tired after the challenge and I helped the girls to get their things back into the cabin after Eva's meltdown. The worse part was that we couldn't sleep enough and had a challenge the next day.

The team's mood was at its lowest after 2 defeats, but luckily the next challenge was a real sports competition. Dodgeball. This time, we were ready to fight on the field and hit the ball out of the stadium.

I was part of the first team and tried to do my best, but we lost the first round. So I told the basses to pass me all the balls, to eliminate some Gophers of the game. But sadly, I underestimated them and only scratched Lindsay. She was a little dizzy, so I took her out to take some air.

Annotation: DJ

"You know, I'm sure that you were eliminated first on both rounds. And man,you didn't scratch her. You hit her in the middle of her face. Poor girl, she received a lot of hits on her face during that day," said Dj with a thoughtful expression.

Well, maybe Lindsay received a few more hits. But that isn't the important part. What matters is that she was dizzy, so we went outside.

The air helped her feel better, and we went next to the lake to put some fresh water on her bumps. It didn't take long before the swelling disappeared from her face, and she became the smiling and beautiful girl I fell in love with.

Then we talked about each other. Our families, our school lives, our dreams, and our teammates. We really connected, so I decided to ask her out. And I still can't believe she accepted! Oh man, I was the happiest man on the entire Earth!

I mean I'm still happy and all that for dating her, but that moment was like a BOOOM! It's a feeling like ZAP! You know what I mean right?

Annotation: Noah

The Indian guy only rolled his eyes. "Of course we know. It's more than a Bzzzt but not as much as a Kapow! Even a child would know about that."

So we seal our new relationship with a small kiss under the dock. Ok, maybe it wasn't small, and definitely, it wasn't just one, but you know what I mean. It was more magical than any of those fictional magicians from Las Vegas.

However, as we got more comfortable with each other, Heather interrupted us. She was angry because her team was losing in dodgeball and accused Lindsay of Breaking the rules and things like that.

My girl was really sad about that and seemed scared of Heather, so I told the mean girl to chill out. As her answer Heather threw a kayak over my head. A KAYAK! I'm lucky to have a sturdy body and a hard head, but anyone else would be hurt. She then took Linds away, leaving me in the sand.

I returned just in time for the fifth game. Courtney asked about where I was, and I couldn't lie and told her I was with Lindsay. She got angry as always, but I needed to be honest with my feelings.

Annotation: Harold

"It's funny because If my memory doesn't fail me, you in fact lied to her at the beginning and then had to recognize it when she said you were with Lindsay. And I'm sure my memory doesn't fail me. My redintegration, relearning, recall, and recognition are all over the average," said Harold folding his arms and nodding, "I'm basically a re- master."

Anyway, we played the last game and got our first victory thanks to our awesome teamwork and Harold's awesomest play. It was my best day on the island, at least until that moment.

For the next 2 days, I met in secret with Lindsay. It was hard because Heather seemed to be over her case ALL the time. But even then we could meet, talk and kiss a few times. In the craft tent, in the docks, behind my cabin, and inside the gopher's girl cabin.

Annotation: Geoff

"Hahaha, wait a moment dude. Are you saying you had a makeout session in your girl's cabin? I can't believe it," said Geoff laughing while taking a zip of his cup.

Tyler smiled nervously. "It was actually 3 times."

"But why? It wasn't really dangerous? What if Gwen found you?" asked Cody in a shocked tone.

"Or LeShawna or Heather, right?" asked Alejandro, looking suspiciously at the brunette boy.

Cody rubbed his neck, blushing. "Yes of course. What if anyone found you?"

"It wasn't a problem. The girls would be out of the cabin enjoying the day because who would want to be in an old cabin. The only exception was Heather, who may be looking for us, but she wouldn't think in looking on her own bed."

There was a mix of gasps and laughs in the room.

"Wait a minute man, you were making out IN Heather's bed?" asked Trent looking at the jock with expectation.

"Actually, yes. There was something exciting about making out in the top bunk bed. And it was always clean, so it was like our love nest," replied Tyler proudly putting out his chest. "But at the moment I ignored it was Heather's bed."

"You're Awesome!" shouted Owen excitedly, "I could never make out in a top bunk bed. In fact, I couldn't climb a bunk bed ever."

Noah shook his head and closed his eyes. "Please let's stop right there and continue with the story, but Tyler please spare us the details."

The jock took a sip of his beer and frowned. "Ok, but there are some of the juiciest parts of the story. That sucks! Anyway, as I was saying…"

As I was saying, the days were great. And Chris told us about the next challenge, the talent show.

This challenge was easy as old grandma's pie. Our basses had a lot of talents to show. I stepped forward with my yo-yos tricks, but even that was unnecessary. Thanks to Courtney, Geoff, and DJ I didn't have to go into the stage.

So I just went to relax and untangle myself. You know my best trick ends with me all tangled up with the yo-yo's thread to make the public be both amused and laugh at the same time.

But on the way to the bathroom, I found Linds. She wasn't taking part in the challenge show either and wanted to help me untangle the yo-yos. I gladly accept, but somehow we end tangled together.

So we decided to go into the bathroom to untangle ourselves without everyone looking weirdly at us. We had a lot of problems getting out of the string, but Linds looked really pretty while trying to help me, so we…

Annotation: Noah

The Indian guy rolled his eyes. "Let me guess, you couldn't refrain from your passion and in a moment of weakness, started to caress and canoodle each other?"

"Eh! Of course not!" replied Tyler in a Stern tone, "We began to make out again."

"Same thing," said Noah smiling and satisfied with the conversation going exactly as he expected.

The jock looked at him, confused for a moment, and then shrugged. "can noddle is kissing? Ok got it. Anyway, as I was saying…"

As I said, we got together and began to make out again, but there was more than just the making out. Something amazing happened, something that wasn't captured in-camera.

After a tender kiss, I looked into her beautiful blue eyes and told her, "Linds, you're literally the best girl I have ever met. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"Hihihi, Are you saying we're not dating right now? Because I was like sure we were dating," replied Linds chuckling and looking at me with bedroom eyes.

"YES, YAHOOO!" I exclaimed and jumped around. It was a shame I broke the strings of my yo-yos, but I was so excited that I stopped thinking. I kiss her again, and we continued making out until we were interrupted by Heather, who was screaming at her walkie-talkie. Why was she so angry all the time?

That was how I started my first serious relationship and started dating during the first season. Extremely awesome, isn't it?

Annotation: Owen

The big guy was twiddling with his fingers. "Erhm, yes it's awesome, but I already knew you were dating."

"What?" Asked Tyler with a shocked expression, "but it wasn't shown on TV. And I don't remember telling you this story. Did Lindsay tell you?"

"Nobody told him. It was obvious," said Justin rolling his eyes. "You weren't exactly subtle about it."

"Yes, they even used to call you and Lindsay the first total drama couple," replied Trent folding his arms.

"What Justin and Trent said. We didn't need to have factual knowledge about your relationship's state to know you were more than simple amity. Even the most vacuous person in the cast knew it," replied Harold nodding while closing his eyes.

Ezekiel nodded with a big smile on his face. "I never suspect you were already dating before playa de losers, eh! And even in separate teams. Man as you said, you're awesome."

"Ok, I retract myself. As they said, all generalizations are false, including this one," replied Harold shocking his head.

But Tyler just ignored the nerd and made finger guns at Ezekiel, "Totally awesome, right? Thanks man, at least someone appreciates a good story."

"So man, that's all?" asked DJ taking a small sip of his drink, "because you sounded like ending the story with your first relationship."

"Oh, o-of course not, there is still some more to tell," replied Tyler, somehow his story didn't have the punch he expected, "So after we started dating."

She had to go to see Heather. Aside from using poor Lindsay, I think she had something against us becoming a couple, or maybe she was jealous of how much we liked each other. Anyway, I then decided to support my team in the challenge.

But we had a lot of bad luck. Bridgette accidentally destroyed Courtney's violin after we bet she couldn't stand on her hand for 20 minutes. With my yo-yos out of the game, we had to use Harold as the extra act.

The acts were very fun, even if the gophers' acts were good and our own acts not that much. But the real problem was Bridgette's act. Somehow she began to feel ill and to th…

Annotation: Alejandro

"STOP! I wasn't there but watched the whole ordeal on TV, and I don't want to hear it again. It's disgusting. So spare us the details about her act and just tell us what is relevant to your story.

As I was saying, she then had some issues and fell off the scenario on my arms. Lindsay got angry about her trying to flirt with me, but we quickly resolved the misunderstanding.

Sadly we have few chances to be together after that. We couldn't see each other during the camping challenge, and the next day we had the scares challenge. Linds stood with her wig all day, and sadly I was eliminated after failing my challenge.

Talking about that, I'm still not sure why I was eliminated. I entered the fence, and I think my body stood there for the 3 minutes. I'm not sure because I fell unconscious by the shock. But I believe I stood there.

So as I was saying, I got eliminated and sent to Playa de losers. I was in the dumps not only because of my elimination but also without my Lindsay. Luckily Beth was eliminated soon after and brought a note from Lindsay telling me she missed me and to wait for her. That was the first time I realized that we were really together, even after the season. I didn't even care that she called me Taylor on the note.

Tyler's story end

"So this is the awesome story of the first time I got a true girlfriend and the first time I realized how happy I was to be dating her. It's an extreme story, right?" said Tyler flexing and smiling.

"It was a good story, but saying Beth's elimination was a good thing isn't cool," said Cody shaking his head.

Tyler looked at him with wide eyes and bite his lower lip. "Eh!? Of course not I said luckily as an expression. I wasn't really happy about her elimination."

"Anyway, I think most of us already knew the story," said Duncan, shrugging. "So who is the next one?"

Alejandro and Noah looked at each other. None of them wanted to tell their story.

"Well, you love the sound of your own voice and to be in the spotlight, so please let us hear your wonderful story," said Noah in a snarky tone.

The Spaniard glared at him and then recovered his composure, "Oh no, as much as I would love to go first, I think it would be better if you do it. After all you don't want to take your turn after me."

Noah glared back at him. Damn eel, it was a good argument.

But before the Indian guy could reply, his phone began to ring. "Sorry I need to pick up this. Excuse me."

As Noah went to pick the call, the rest of the guests gazed at Alejandro.

"It seems it's your turn, or you want to chicken out," said Duncan, who then began to imitate a chicken.

"STOP DOING THAT MAN! It's creepy," said Tyler glaring at the delinquent. "And of course Alejandro won't chicken out. It seems you forget who he is. C'mon Al, drop the shy act and tell us an extreme story."

Alejandro sighed. There was no escape. "Ok, gentlemen and Owen, get ready because the winner of this small show is here."

Author Notes:

And surprise, Tyler's story wasn't the last one. Yes it was a nice running joke but it was too predictable, so instead, he was one of the last ones.

This story main feature is that I'm retelling a story the audience already knows from the character POV. I hope you enjoyed it because the problem with these stories is that sometimes they are boring because the audience already knows the outcome. Also I tried to make Tyler a little klutz but not go overboard, so I hope you enjoyed him.

Now answering the reviews.

amit. avrashmi: Yes, Beth made a lot of sense and I enjoy their chemistry in Action, so I put her in the story. Also you were right, Tyler's was with Lindsay.

Also thanks for your feedback, I will think about a female version of the story.

Total simaniac: Hahaha, I'm glad it surprised you. I wanted to do something different and a mystery/action story seemed right.

And no, I decided to throw a curve and let poor Tyler tell his story (or more like, Alejandro and Noah didn't want to tell theirs) also thanks for your comments, I will keep it in mind before deciding to go for a sequel.

As always, thanks for reading, and I hope you like it, no forget to review.
