HELLO, MY LOVELIES!!!
GAAAAHH, I CANT BELIEVE I HIT THE 100 MARK!! IM SOO HAPPY!! GOD THANK YOU GUYS, SO MUCH FOR READING AND REVIEWING THIS BOOK!!!
OK, I NEED TO CALM DOWN.
takes a deep breath*
Ah, much better.
So, I wanted to thank you all for reading this book. You have no idea how insecure I was when I first published it, thinking that no one would like it. So to hear so much positive feedback means SOOO much to me. I have had so much fun reading your reviews and they are one of the reasons I'm writing this right now.
To answer your questions.
I will also be re-reading all that I have posted so far, and make a few changes here and there, but nothing major. If your question is not answered, that that means that it will be answered in a chapter later, or plays a significant role in the events of the story.
Ok, so the most frequent questions I have been asked are these:
Q: Why is Sasuke being so protective, when this is all his fault?
A: Well, when I wrote this, I had in mind many things. Firstly, we need to remember that Hinata was missing-nin. That means that whoever came across her was to return her to her village and her Kage, as soon as possible. So, when Sasuke figured out that Hinata was a missing shinobi, he did what protocol asked him to. Here are the exact words:
"You are to come with me to the Hokage for identification. If you do not comply, I will be inclined to use force."
So, he requested her to come with him, and said that if she resisted, then he would have no choice but to take her there by force. So, you see, he warned her of the concequences beforehand, and it was completely up to Hinata whether she listened to him or not. By refusing to go with him, Hinata dug her own grave, already knowing that she most probably be getting hurt in the process. Any other Shinobi in Sasuke's place, would've done the same thing.
Then, when Kazue started to talk about his eyes, Sasuke was humouring him by going along with his wishes, and activating his Sharingan. However, when he noticed that the Hinata was getting nervous, he got suspicious. He is a shinobi, and shinobi do not ignore their gut instincts. So, it was Hinata's own fault for being so open with her options. Sasuke is an observent person, and he was bound to figure out that something was wrong, sooner or later.
And then, after seeing the Sharingan, Sasuke couldn't just let Hinata go. Not only was it dangerous, especially with people like Orochimaru on the loose, but it was personal to him too, as he just found out that he wasn't alone in the world. There was no way he would let Hinata go after that. Besides, Hinata was going to be discovered sooner or later. It's a good that that it was Sasuke who was the one to find them. Had someone else been the one to find them, Hinata and Kazue surely would've been killed.
Sasuke was a loyal Shinobi of his village, and he was just following protocol.
Then, later, Hiashi attacked Hinata. Hiashi was acting out of instinct, without thinking what he was doing. He had always been ashamed of Hinata, because she was never the heir he wanted. And when he thought that she couldn't possibly shame him anymore, he saw Kazue. So, of course he's going to be angry at his daughter for acting so recklessly, especially when, in a clan such as Hyuga, honour is very important. Hinata had given Hiashi shame as a clan head, then as a father, because:
"He believed he'd raised his daughter better than that."
Then, when he attacked Hinata, Sasuke attacked him too. Sasuke, who had just found out that the brother who had loved him to death and who had killed in cold-blood, had a son. He had questions, lots of them. And he wanted them answered. The only person who could answer them was Hinata, so of course he would be protective of her. Then, when he saw that Kazue had unlocked the three tomoe Sharingan because of Hiashi, of course he would be angry. He had watched his clan suffer throughout the years, and when everything was supposed to be fine, he watched Kazue suffer even more. However, unlike last time, this time he had the power to stop the injustice done to his family. So, he did it in the only way he knew: Violence.
Sasuke grew up in bloodshed, so violence is second nature to him. He doesn't know how else he would protect his family. Kazue was his blood, and the only thing he had left of his brother, so of course, he would protect him. In his eyes, what he did when bringing them back, was correct, because he knew no other way other than violence.
Q: Why did Hiashi get away with attacking Hinata?
A: Kakashi let Hiashi go. So, Kakashi was the Hokage, who had just witnessed one of the biggest plotwists of his life. An S-Rank criminal had a son, one of his Shinobi was dying and a little boy had just been made witness to all the violence. He knew Uchihas. Obito, Sasuke and Itachi. He knew that what held priority was making sure that Kazue was fine and reassured that his mother was going to be ok. He needed to make sure that Kazue knew that the people of the village were her friends, to reassure him that he was not going to let anything happen to her. The last thing he wanted was for Kazue to give into his hatred of the village and follow into the steps of his Clan mates. So, the first thing he did was make sure no one harmed Kazue, and told Hiashi to get lost. Things were already very much messed up, and the last thing he wanted was to make things more complicated. He said that:
"Your actions have not only brought harm upon a member of Konoha, but have also destroyed the peace and security of the village. As a result, this will no longer be regarded as a clan matter."
Hiashi is the clan head of the Hyuga clan, one of the most important members if the village. Their loyalty is very important for the leaf, and if Kakashi gave direct punishment, of course the clan would take it as an insult. He already told him to keep his shit out of Kazue's case. The Hokage holds the most authority, so Hiashi has no choice but to listen, when Kakashi tells him to stay away from Kazue. In simpler words, he has been barred from anything relating to Kazue, including Hinata. Hiashi's word will hold no weight when deciding Hinata's innocence, and he has been politically and formally removed from their lives. If that isn't punishment, then I don't know what is.
Q: Kakashi told everyone that Hianat wasn't forced, so why are they acting this way(horrified)?
A: Whether Hinata was forced or not, doesn't change Itachi in the eyes of her friends. To them, he is still a brutal mass murderer. It was obvious that when Kakashi told them "You'll see", They understood that whoever the father was, they knew him. However, still, Itachi was the last person they had in their minds. So, of course, they would be horrified at the prospect that someone as bloody as him had his hands all over their precious friend, regardless of whether Hinata had wanted him to or not.
Q: What help did Kazue want from someone with eyes like his?
A: This ones pretty easy. When Kazue activated his Sharingan, his mother told him to never show it to anyone. So when he saw Sasuke, he thought he'd found a friend, someone who would understand and was in the same situation as him. He wanted help, as in he wanted Sasuke to indulge him and teach him about his eyes.
Q: Does Sasuke pull out a sword everytime someone enters his house?
A: I think I mentioned this before. Sasuke still didn't trust anyone in the village. So, of course when a random person entered his house, he simply assumed the worst. Sasuke is a warrior, so he would immediately want the upper hand in any battle. That was exactly what he did when pulled a sword towards Kurenai. Another thing, Sasuke didn't know that Kazue was with Kurenai too, so he only meant to scare off Kurenai. I wrote:
"He froze, suddenly realizing that Kazue was in their midst too."
But, as soon as he realized that, he put away his sword, standing down immediately. He was willing to risk his victory if Kurenai attacked, only so Kazue wouldn't be afraid of him.
Q: Did the Pain Arc happen here?
A: The way I envisioned this was that Naruto went with Jiraya with train. And when he returned, he already had mastered the Sage mode, and other stuff. So, no. The pain arc has not happened here. However, this will make more sense when we reach the past in the stroy.
WHEW!!
Hope that cleared things up.
THANKS AGAIN GOT THE REVIEWS!! MUWAH:3
