Chapter 275: Arc 17: Flee The Mansion!
With their cover blown, Shinobu and Onami were forced to beat a retreat.
"What's the matter with you, Shinobu?" Onami asked, the two women were catching their breath out the roof.
"Onami, there is something I haven't told you." Shinobu confessed. "I have a fear of sharp objects. Let's catch this wind." she noted, as a flurry of sakura petals blew past her. "Ninpo: Great Kite!" snatching Onami up, she leapt off the roof and tossed a scroll in front of her, summoning a kite to escape.
"What did you see in the residence, Onami?" using the kite to fly, Shinobu asked.
"I saw the name of the port and the shipment day." Onami recalled.
"Good job." Shinobu praised. "Now we know when and where they are stockpiling their arms. Let's steal them. Something is going on in town." she spotted the long, winding queue on the streets.
"What's that line for?" Onami wondered. "Is it a sale?"
"There are so many young girls.' Shinobu noted.
Meanwhile at Sangoro's soba stand...
"Welcome!" Sangoro called out from his stall. "Come on and try it, young ladies."
In the air...
"That voice..." Onami frowned. "It must be..."
At Sangoro's soba stall...
"It's sweet when it melts in the mouth." the blond cook grinned. "It sure is al dente. Sangoro's nihachi soba. Three, five, two, eight: the sum is 18." and thus, his stall was named 'Ohako Special Soba.'
In the air...
"There's no samurai!" Onami fumed.
SailorStar9: Any OOC-nes is regretted. *Sighs* Don't you just hate plot bunnies sometimes? Reviews are much appreciated.
