Chapter 283: Arc 17: Discussions

In Ringo...

In his straw raincoat, Kanjuro walked up to an abandoned house. "This is... the five-colored rice." he spotted the line of different rice grained on a stone lamp. "Must be Shinobu. I am glad that you are all alive." he met up with Shinobu's group. "I did not think you'll run all the away to the region of Ringo to hide from the pursuers. Orochi's men will not pursue this far."

"I didn't expect the famous Oiran, Komurasaki, to be killed. " Orobi admitted.

"That has thrown the Flower Capital into an uproar." Kanjuro nodded.

"I mean, all she did was speak against Orochi." Onami added. "How could he be so quick to kill a woman like that?"

"The man who cut Komurasaki is Napping Kyoshiro." Shinobu supplied.

"Kyoshiro..." Kanjuro mused. "I have never heard of that name. 20 years ago, the most powerful yakuza boss in Wano was Hyogoro the Flower."

"Boss Hyogoro who values honor and helps the weak would never handle the situation in such a cruel manner." Shinobu recalled.

"Napping Kyoshiro..." Kanjuro muttered. "How horrible that man is."

"Maybe we shouldn't take Otoko back to Kyoshiro's brothel." Orobi wondered.

"Even though she made the Shogun mad, I don't think Kyoshiro will chase after a child." Bonekichi concurred.

"But he even killed the most popular woman in his brothel.' Onami pointed out. "I'm worried. Let's go back to the Flower Capital."

"Everyone, if we're going back to the Flower Capital, let's take a bath to rest our weary bones." Bonekichi suggested.

"Even though you're just bones?" Sahiko joked.

"We have to wear disguises." Shinobu reminded. "The hot water and drinking water are managed by Orochi. In the Flower Capital, every single aspect of life is controlled."

"Before that, Orobi, Sahiko, I would like to hear the information you've gathered so far." Kanjuro requested.

"It's all a shame..." Orobi sighed. "All we've found out so far is what time Orochi will wake up on the day of the battle, the offerings that they will take to Onigashima, Kaido's favorite food and organization chart, the number of his soldiers and weapons."

"So efficient!" Kanjuro gawked.

"By the way, I discovered a Poneglyph." Bonekichi piped in. "It wasn't a red on, though. It was in a basement room with a reinforced door. It was a strange room with wooden puppets."

"With so much information, we can say the mission was quite successful." Kanjuro nodded. "Thank you, it was all because of your support."

In Ebisu Town the next day...

"Komurasaki!" the grief-stricken Sangoro wept upon reading the headlines. "How could this happen?"

"Why so mournful?" Usohachi was confused. "You barely met her only once."

"The funeral will be held tomorrow." Law added, reading the rest of the article.

"Do you think Sahiko and the others got caught?" Franosuke wondered.

"I'm worried." Usohachi admitted. "Should I try to contract them even Smart Tanishi?"

"You're right." Sangoro was knocked out of his musings. "Speaking of which, Torao, isn't there anything about Udon? About Luffytaro?"

"It's about time he loses patience and starts rampaging." Franosuke agreed.

"That's no article on Straw Hat." Law replied. "Wait, Eustass?" he spotted Eustass Kid's drawing on the newspaper.

"So, he's here in Wano?" Sangoro frowned.

"Since his ally, Hawkins is here, it's no wonder he's here, too." Law explained. "But he was held in a prison at Udon. Then, he escaped. I guess something more will take place in Udon. I'm worried. Bepo and the others went scouting and haven't come back yet. I hope we don't have anymore trouble."
