Reginald had arrived back in his room, he threw his cloak back on then pulled the hood back up over his head. In his excitement he completely forgot to remove his crown from his head. He once again checked the corridors before he made his way out to the courtyard.

Reginald was able to leave the castle grounds and enter the town with ease. He made his way through town without any hassle, which surprised him greatly. Not once was he stopped as he eventually found himself in the slums. He soon came to the realisation he was still wearing his crown underneath the hood of his cloak. He took note to keep his hood up at until he returned safely to the castle and pray no on noticed.

Reginald made his way through the streets of the slums, being careful who he bumped into as to not offend anyone. He eventually found himself standing outside the local tavern, starring up at it in curiosity.

Inside, Right sat with Sven, Randy, Archie and Big Tong, they were having a good time. Archie secretly squealing at the thought of Randy letting him sit beside him, Randy chatting away to Right and Big Tong while Sven sat between his big brother and Randy with a glass of milk in his hands. He wasn't a big drinker, claimed he needed to keep a clear head if he was ever to become a first class alchemist.

Big Tong eventually looked up to check the time, "that's me off lads, you all have fun" he got up and made his way out. As he did, he bumped into someone much smaller than he, "oh pardon me, mate, I didn't see you there. Are you wanting in?" he asked as he held the door open for them.

Reginald, the smaller man in question, was taken aback by the seemingly gentle giant, "er… yes, thank you kind sir" he bowed in response.

Big Tong smiled at him, "you're welcome mate. Enjoy your time at the tavern. Have a drink on me, the name's Big Tong. Just say my name to the Bartender"

"That is very kind of you, Mr Big Tong, thank you"

"Your welcome mate, enjoy" Big Tong walked off once he saw Reginald was inside.

After being pleasantly surprised by Big Tong's kind nature, Reginald walked into the tavern and stopped to have a look at his surroundings. From where he stood he could see groups of people all enjoying their drinks. Some were laughing, others were singing or attempting to at least while others were passed out, clearly unable to handle their drinks. Reginald took a deep breath and made his way up to the bar.

"I can do this" he told himself.

Right was sitting with his group of friends, he was laughing and having a grand old time. He had a look at his tanker and noticed it was empty, "who's up for another round?"

"One couldn't hurt" Sven thought to himself out loud, "maybe I could figure out why you like them"

"Heck yeah, what about you Archie?" Randy asked as he turned his attention to his 'secret' admirer.

"Oh… huh…" Archie once again snapped back to reality, "uh huh, I'll have another, thanks Right"

Right chuckled then stood up and made his way to the bar.

Reginald took a deep breath to help compose himself then spoke, "good day sir, a man by the name of Big Tong informed me to say his name to you…" as he waited for the bartender to reply he mentally screamed at himself, "great. How awkward do you want to look?!"

The bartender turned round whilst polishing off a tanker, "ah Big Tong, good guy" he poured Reginald a pint of mead, "here you go mate, on the house" he said as he placed it in front of him.

"Thank you"

Right stopped at the bar, "five more pints here mate"

The Bartender nodded and got to work. Right turned his head to the side then took notice of Reginald, "hello mate, not seen you around here before"

"Oh, good day. I am new here" Reginald informed Right.

"Oh you are new here. Well welcome… I guess. What's your name?"

"My name is Regi… just Reg. It's a pleasure to meet you"

"Well hello Regi… just Reg" Right chuckled.

Reginald nervously giggled, "I suppose I walked into that one… Mr?"

"People call me Right"

"Hello Right" Reginald bowed.

Right watched and chuckled at Reginald's unusual behaviour, "would you like to come drink with us?"

Reginald perked up at the thought of making some new friends, "that would be lovely" he smiled as he picked up his pint.

Right smiled, he placed down a few coins onto the bar then picked up the tray of drinks. "Why don't you put your drink on the tray?"

Reginald nodded and carefully placed his tanker with the others. He then followed Right back to his table and took note of Right's companions. A small blonde youth with a white owl resting on his head, an unusual sight in his eyes but the little owl did look rather adorable. He wondered if he would be allowed to pet them. There was the brown hair, goggle wearing young man who looked to be in some kind of trance. He looked as if he were starring at the young man sitting beside him, someone dressed in pink who seemed somewhat familiar. Perhaps he had seen him in the castle, his choice of clothing would make him hard to forget.

Right placed the tray onto their table, "I'm back and I have a guest"

"Sweet, a new friend" Randy chimed in, making Reginald believe he had definitely seen him at the castle before.

Sven looked up to see who this new friend was. He saw the smaller hooded guest who stood beside Right. He was use to seeing people conceal their identity so would never question it.

"Go on, have a seat. We don't bite, honest… well, only Archie when he hasn't had his coffee. Ain't that right, Archie?" Right laughed.

"Huh?" Archie looked up, "oh yeah, right" he let out a small nervous laugh.

Reginald sat himself down beside Sven, "is Archie feeling okay?" he asked with concern.

"Pay no attention to him, he's always like that. Right Snowy?" Sven informed Reginald while Snowy hooted in agreement.

Archie had turned his attention back to admiring Randy once again, his hands under his chin as he gazed at him lovingly. Sven often wondered if Randy was even aware Archie liked him.

"Ah I see, so I assume this is normal for him?" Reginald asked.

Sven nodded, "he acts this way whenever Randy is around us. It use to annoy me until I decided to just leave him be" he informed the Prince as he looked at the pint Right had placed in front of him.

"Normal is an understatement there" Right corrected Sven, "he's in with him but doesn't know how to say it out loud. You enjoy that, little brother" he begun to down his own pint.

Sven sighed, "I suppose it's up to me to do the introductions… again. My name is Sven, this is Snow my owl, the one in pink is Randy and lover-boy there is Archie"

Randy gave Reginald a little wave then begun to drink his own pint. Sven had a little taste of his own, he wasn't impressed with the taste but it wasn't as bad as he had imagined. Reginald watched his new friends from where he sat then looked down at his own pint. He finally decided to give it a try and it wasn't that bad.

Right finished off his pint in one go then placed the tanker back down in front of him, "are you not enjoying it, Sven? How about you, Reg?"

"It's not as bad as I imagined" Sven replied as he took another sip.

"It's different, I could get use to it" Reginald told him.

Right chuckled, "you'll get use to it after a while, I love it"

Reginald smiled, it was nice being treated as a normal person. Snowy hooted at him then flew over, landing on his shoulder. She puffed up, "why, hello Snowy"

Sven watched as Snowy snuggled against Reginald's hood. He looked up to check the time, "I still have a few things to do back home" he quickly finished off his pint.

Randy sighed and nodded, "same, my old man is probably looking for me…"

Right nodded, "alright, you two go ahead. Oh and Sven, take lover boy with you"

Sven nodded, "you be good Snowy" he told his little own who hooted in response.

Randy got up, "love to stay longer but can't, don't want my old man coming out here with his dogs"

Archie snapped back to reality once again and let Randy pass, he watched as Randy waved good bye then leave the tavern. He then turned to Right, "see you back home?"

Right nodded in response, "aye, I will"

Sven gave Snowy a little pet then followed Archie out. They walked down the streets back towards their home, Archie had a smile on his face.

"Isn't Randy the coolest? I'm glad he's friends with Right" Archie said.

"If you think he's so cool then why can't you talk to him like a normal person?" Sven asked him.

"W-well… em…"Archie stopped, "I'm nervous, alright. He's so cool and I'm… not"

Sven sighed then turned to face Archie, "you are attempting to build an airship, from scratch, and you don't think that's cool? Give me a break"

"W-well that's true. I am building an airship from scratch"

"I swear, I cannot understand your line of thinking" Sven begun to make his way home.

Archie chuckled, "I sometimes don't understand my way of thinking either, Sven" he quickly caught up to him.

Back at the Tavern, Right found himself alone with Reginald and Snowy. "So, where are you from?" He asked.

"Where am I from… well…" Reginald had to think fast, he couldn't say he came from the castle, "I came from Castle Town"

"Castle Town, huh? How long have you been living in Castle Town?"

"All my life and you? How long have you lived here?"

"Most of my life. Been here since my folks died. They were killed by a King from a distant Kingdom"

"A distant Kingdom…" Reginald ponded, "but the only other Kingdom I am aware of is that of the Emerald Kingdom, of which was are allies with"

"Well the Kingdom I grew up in no longer exists. I got blown off the map, one moment there the next gone"

"I… I see…" Reginald became eerily silent.

Right felt bad for telling Reginald that, even if it was true. He got up, "how about we go back to my place?" he offered, hoping it would take his mind off the depressing story.

Reginald nodded then got up. Snowy moved from his shoulder to his head. He followed him back to where his new friend down the streets and they eventually stopped outside the small shack Right called home.

"Welcome to my home" Right said, he watched as Reginald had a look at it.

"What a charming little place you have" Reginald eventually said.

Right smiled, "why thank you, Reg" he opened the door for him, "watch your step" he told him as Reginald walked in.

Reginald looked around the small, cozy room from where he stood. He saw Archie at his workstation, mulling over some blueprints. However, he couldn't see Sven. Right walked in and went over to Archie.

Snow was also scanning the room for Sven. She was about to fly off when her talons got stuck onto the fabric of the hood. This caused her to fly backwards in a panic which in turned caused the hood to fall back. Reginald was caught off guard and so was unable to prevent the removal of his hood. This, of course, lead to the revile of the gold crown that sat upon his head.

Right looked back at Reginald, his eyes widened. "Wait… what? The Prince?"

"Huh? You say something?" Archie looked up, "OH MY GOD!" he turned round and quickly bowed, "you highness"

"Well… this was unexpected" Reginald replied, not knowing what to do next.

Snowy flew outside, where she found Sven and landed on his shoulder. He was standing in front of an old chest of draws he had re-purposed into his own little workstation. Several bottles of liquids of different colours sat on it. He had been working on them, checking his notes as he did, when he heard Archie raise his voice. He put down the bottles then headed inside. "why is Archie yelling?"

"I was having a drink with the PRINCE!" Right was in disbelief.

"We… we were having a drink with the prince" Archie stuttered then turned to see Sven at the back door, "the Prince… the Prince is in our shack!"

"What do you mean… Reg is… short for Reginald which is the Prince's" Sven looked over to see what they were saying was true. The colour drained from his face, "please excuse me while I write my will" he calmly walked back outside.

"Please, wait, no one is going to die" Reginald pleaded.

"Sven, come back. Reg… I mean the Prince, just said no one is going to die" Right sighed, "I'll have to take you back before the knights find out you're missing"

Reginald sighed, "it may be for the best… it was nice to meet you all though"

Archie had composed himself, "it was nice to meet you too, Prince Reginald. If you like, you could come back and visit us. We're mostly here all day"

Reginald nodded, "that would be nice" he pulled his hood back up over his head, making sure to keep his crown hidden.

"The closest I can get you to is the wall around castle town" Right told him, "the people in there don't like my sorts"

Reginald nodded, "I understand. Farewell Archie, Sven and Snowy"

"Goodbye your highness" Archie replied and watched as Right escorted Reginald out.

Reginald stayed close to Right as they made their way to the entrance of Castle Town. After being able to have gotten a proper look at him earlier, Right couldn't help but think their Prince look sort of cute. The two remained silent as they approached the gates to the town.

"Well, here we are your highness" Right sighed.

Reginald nodded as he looked up at the gates, "thank you, I am sure I can find my way back to the castle from here"

Right nodded, "goodbye… your highness" he turned and made his way back to the slums.

"Goodbye" Reginald replied as he walked forward into the town.

Right took one last look back and watched as Reginald disappeared into the town. He sighed then continued on his way.
