Princess Hildegard groaned as she climbed into her carriage, her garments wet and cold from falling into the river earlier. "Daddy" she whined, "are you coming?"

"In a minute, Hildy" replied King Henrik before turning back to talk to his friend King Roland.

Hildegard just whined again. "I just want to go home" she whispered. She listened to the conversation her dad was having with the Enchancian Royals.

"... And I'm really sorry about Hildegard's behavior today" the Princess heard her dad say.

"It's all right Henrik" replied Roland, "honestly, she's a good kid..." Hildegard felt a tiny spark of pride at that before... "But she's so spoiled!" cut in a girl's voice. She recognized the voice instantly as her friend, Princess Amber's. That irritated her a lot; she looked towards the direction of the conversation.

"Now, Amber" scolded Roland in the distance.

"Sorry, Daddy" replied Amber, "it's just..." she put her hand on her sister, Princess Sofia's, shoulder.

Oh, no thought Hildegard, please don't tell daddy what a said yesterday!

"Daddy" spoke up Sofia.

Hildegard felt her heart skip a beat as she broke into a cold sweat.

"Yes, sweet heart" replied Roland.

"Can we go home now, I'm really felling tired" asked Sofia.

Hildegard sighed in relief. Oh, that was close, she thought, I thought I was screwed.

"Alright, Sofia" said Roland, "I think we're all tired."

"Well, I'll see you again soon, Rolland" said Henrik before walking towards his carriage.

"Finally" whined Hildegard.

"Alright, back to Freezenburg" ordered Henrik to the driver before climbing into the carriage with his daughter.

As the carriage took off Hildegard watched as the others flew off to their respective kingdoms.

"Daddy!" griped Hildegard, "my dress, it's soaking into the seat!"

"I'm sorry, Hildy" replied Henrik, "but you shouldn't have tried to catch those butterflies."

"But I wanted..." went Hildegard before her dad interrupted with "Hidy, I already told you, you need to learn that you can't have everything you want!"

Hildegard felt her eyes grow moist. "But you always let me have what I want."

"Well I'm afraid that is going to change" stated Henrik, "starting today."

Hildegard felt hot tears stream down her face as she looked away.

"Hildegard" said Henrik as his daughter just slumped into her seat avoiding eye contact. "Hildegard, you know that I love you and your sister Astrid more than anything and I want what's best for you. However, what's best isn't always getting what you want."

Hildegardjust pouted. "Are you gonna tell Mommy what I did today" she asked.

"I don't want to" replied Henrik, "but she needs to know the truth because we both need to raise you right."

"Ohhhhh!" whined Hildegard. She really wasn't looking forward to what her mom would do once she found out about the day's events.

The rest of the journey home was rather quiet as neither Hildegard nor her dad had much else to say. Soon they both noticed drastic change in climate as they entered Freezenburg. It wasn't long before their castle was in sight.

Once the carriage landed Hildegard stepped out shivering as one of the palace servants handed her a coat. She took it and threw it over her shoulders before turning toward the castle.

"Hildegard, aren't you forgetting something?" scolded Henrik.

"What!" snapped Hildegard before noticing the disappointed look on the servant's face.

"Oh, uh Thank you Sven" said Hildegard.

"You're very welcome Your Highness" replied Sven.

Hildegard then ran inside the palace and made her way to her room. As she threw off her coat and hat she heard a knock on her door. Thinking it was her mom she hesitated for a moment before answering it. To her relief it was her older sister, Princess Astrid.

"Hi, Hildy" said Astrid cheerfully, "how was the Dads and Daughter's trip?"

"I don't wanna talk about it!" snapped Hildegard.

"Hildy, I just..." Astrid then noticed her sister's puffy eyes and damp skirt. "Hildy, what hap...?"

Astrid's question was suddenly interrupted by a very loud and angry woman's voice from somewhere else in the palace.

"HILDEGARD KRISTINA OBERG!" screamed Hildegard's and Astrid's mom in the distance.

Both Hildegard and Astrid cringed.

"What did you do" asked Astred in horror.

Hildegard just smiled nervously.
