Greetings Dravenites, welcome to chapter 4! So, now that the familial stuff is over and done with, I suggest we get to some actual wedding planning wouldn't you say?

So, without further adieu, enjoy!

By late January, Austin and Ally had finally been able to get down to planning their actual wedding. The only problem being that whilst they could take time off most of the time. They're friends and family couldn't. This left them with a factored variety of times they could choose to get married during.

Currently, the couple found themselves surrounded by balled up pieces of legal pad paper and ashtrays full of pencil shavings.

'' How about summer, that could be fun?''

'' You'll be in a suit, you'll pass out from heatstroke in less than an hour.''

'' We could have it indoors you know. We don't necessarily have to have it outside. AC is a thing you know?''

'' Fine, but let's think about this for a second'' Ally said, putting down the sharp pencil she was using to take notes on a legal pad with. '' Where do we live?''

'' Florida?''

'' Very good. Now, let me lay some logic on you, people will be trying to relax at this thing, that won't be easy to do in 90 degree heat. We won't even be able to listen to the vows we'd be writing for each other, we'd just be waiting for the time that we could go get water to cool down with. Even with AC we run the risk of people catching colds from the temperature drop.''

'' Fine, not summer'' Austin pouted, putting a large X over the summer wedding he had been drafting.

'' I say we go for winter. With Florida's climate, we won't run a huge risk of pneumonia, flu, colds or anything else. It'll be temperate.''

'' Fine but I actually had another idea.''

'' Oh?''

'' Yeah, October.''

'' October? Why?''

'' You'll think I'm soft, but my parents got married in October. You've seen their wedding pictures, they're amazing.''

'' Aww, my big teddy bear. Your secret's safe with me. Also October actually works best, with fall temperatures, the weather won't be freezing nor boiling, like in winter, but the changing leaves will actually have some meaning.''

'' Oh yeah? What's that?''

'' Think.''

'' No clue.''

Ally slapped her face. Either she had been too cryptic or her fiancé was an idiot. '' The changing leaves represent our relationship.''

'' I know I didn't do science like you did, but I'm not sure we were ever leaves.''

Ally sighed deeply. '' We were friends once, but now we're more than friends.''

'' Ill say, no friend would ever spend that much on a ring'' Austin snorted, getting flicked subsequently by Ally.

'' Well regardless, now that we've settled on a month, now we need a date. Last week of October?''

'' That's Halloween. What's next, we go as zombie groom and bride as well?''

'' That sounds awesome'' Austin marveled, ignoring the sarcasm.

'' Ugh, I'm being serious. So when do you think we should have the wedding? First week we're in London doing that charity show and the following week Dez and Trish have to promote Zaliens 26: Rise of the galactic conquests.''

'' Also, during the third week, my parents have that mattress convention'' Austin grinned, '' guess we'll have to do the last week. How does the 27th sound?''

'' Fine. But for the love of God, no costumes. I just hope the church has an opening for that time slot.''

'' Church?''

'' Yeah, the Plymouth congregational church. My parents got married there, my grand parents did and their parents before them, its kind of a staple in my family.''

'' Wow, ok.''

'' Is there a problem?''

'' No. I just never really pegged you as the kind of person who'd want to get married in a church is all. Also, knowing Trish, if she sets foot in there, its entirely possible that she might burst into flames.''

'' Hey!'' Ally gasped, punching Austin, causing him to wince. He'd never admit it, but he was sure Ally was physically stronger than he was.

'' Ok, fine Plymouth it is. But what about reception venues? I know we're due for a final look around tomorrow. What time do we have to be up?'' Austin asked.

'' 10:30. Thankfully none of them are relatively far from here so we won't have to try and beat traffic, but for now I say we try and get some sleep, its getting late'' Ally said, pecking Austin on the lips as she walked to their bedroom.

''Late? Ally, its 9PM.''

'' Yeah I know. And by now you should now that once the clock strikes 9, I'm done with my day.''

'' Yeah, I know. I'll be with you soon, there's a heat game on tonight'' Austin said, strolling over to the TV. Seeing the screen light up, the man lay down, promising himself that he would only rest his eyes for a few minutes.

-x-

'' Morning sunshine'' Ally cooed.

'' Uhh, five more minutes'' Austin groaned.

'' I made chocolate chip pancakes.''

'' Where?'' Austin shot up off of the couch.

'' Nowhere. I just needed you up is all.''

'' You tricked me with the promise of pancakes? You're evil!''

'' But am I?'' Ally quipped.

'' Yes, you are'' Austin deadpanned. '' What time is it?''

'' Almost 9:30.''

'' 9:30?! Ally why didn't you wake me up sooner?''

'' I tried, but you're so cute when you're sleeping'' she cooed. '' Now, brush your teeth and get dressed, I'll meet you outside in 10 minutes.''

An hour later, the pair found themselves parking outside of the Sun's Temple. Located on an incline, surrounded by an endless sea of green trees. It was a premier resort that the pair had heard great things of, mostly of it being a decent avacation destination, but also of it being able to put on a great wedding reception. The actual hotel itself, had been created with the idea of a classic Spanish villa in mind. With stark white brick-walls and burgundy roofing, whoever designed the place had definitely stayed true to the idea.

'' This place gets more beautiful every time we come here'' Austin smiled.

'' Don't miss the forest for the trees Cute nickname, since this is the last time we're coming here, we need to be vigilant, find any mistakes, it has to be perfect!''

'' Wow, someone's gotten used to being a bridezilla'' Austin muttered, as the pair entered the hotel's spacious lobby.

'' I heard that'' Ally muttered back, approaching the receptionist's desk.

'' Welcome to the Sun's Temple. I'm Templeton, how can I assist you today?'' the clerk asked, his speech seemingly well rehearsed.

Austin snickered at the man's name.

'' Hi, I'm Ally Dawson, this is my fiancé Austin Moon. We have an appointment with Robert Poste' Ally politely.

'' Alright, Mr. Poste is currently in our dining room going over some documentation for renovations. You know where it is right?'' Templeton asked, stroking the keys on the computer he was in front of.

'' We do'' Austin responded.

Entering the dining room, the pair immediately noticed the man they were looking for.

Robert Poste was the owner of the Sun's Temple. An older man, with windswept grey hair, he resembled a stereotypical grandfather. The only thing setting him apart from the role being his 50000-dollar imported sharkskin Italian suit.

'' Hi there'' Austin greeted.

'' Gah! You frightened me!'' Robert gasped, standing up.

'' Yeah, we can be pretty stealthy. Hi, Mr. Poste, its nice to see you again'' Ally beamed, extending her hand out.

'' Same to you Ally, you look lovely as always. Austin, good to see you my boy. I see the busy celebrity lifestyle is working for you.''

'' Hi Mr. Poste, its fine I guess. Ally's better at handling the pressure than I am though.''

'' Ah that, yes, women do tend to be able to tolerate higher levels of stress than us men. So you two, shall we take one final look around?''

'' That's why we're here'' Austin shrugged.

Robert took the pair outdoors and showed them the large tent that was usually used for their wedding receptions. It was massive. Ally guessed it was at least 50 feet long and 45 feet wide. It could easily encompass all the people the pair planned on inviting.

'' Well?'' Robert asked.

'' I love it, but I'm not sure I'm in love with it'' Austin commented. '' Like, its really cool, but I never really pictured celebrating my marriage to Ally in a tent is all.''

'' Austin'' Ally gasped. '' Sorry about my uncouth fiancé Mr. Poste.''

'' Not to worry my dear, our venue is rather unusual, but that's part of what makes it special. Its not for everyone'' Robert shrugged.

'' Well, I quite like the tent. Its different and unorthodox, just like we are'' Ally smiled, moving closer to Austin.

'' As you can see, my almost-wife is making decisions for me. What's the price going to be?'' Austin asked.

'' Well, for the celebrity wedding of the century, it would usually be 65000 dollars, catering excluded- ''

'' Excluded?!"' Ally shouted. '' 65 grand without food? That's ridiculous!''

'' Ms. Dawson, please calm down. We cater to a wealthy community, as affluent people you should relish the idea of spending money here.''

Austin was disgusted. How someone could just assume that the amount they asked for would be paid? Sure he and Ally were rich, but they stayed that way by keeping their costs low.

-x-

'' Can you believe that guy? 65000 dollars for a reception? Who would pay that?'' Ally critiqued, as she and Austin approached their next destination.

'' Look, he caters to a specific clientele Ally. Also, kudos on you for picking up your dad's hatred of high prices.''

'' Hey, I'm not like my dad!''

'' Sure, you aren't'' Austin smirked as he parked his Sorento outside the second reception venue.

The pair's current stop was a resort they often visited for weekend getaways or whenever they had friends over from out of town who wanted to see what Miami looked like. Whilst the pair liked the resort, its owners were an absolute nightmare.

The resort was called Poacher's retreat. The resort itself was rather large, consisting of tennis courts, golf courses ( both miniature and normal), 2 pools, a day spa, 2 restaurants, free Wi-Fi and over 200 rooms. However, that really didn't matter to Austin and Ally, they were really only interested in the function area that Poacher's Retreat was famous for.

Exiting the vehicle, the pair approached the lobby where a leanly built bald black man greeted them.

'' Hi there…Raphael'' Ally smiled, reading the worker's nametag. '' I'm Ally, this is my fiancé Austin, we're here for one final look-over at your reception venue.''

Raphael stared at the pair with absolute loathing. '' I know who you are. You ruined my mom's managing career Ally.''

'' Wait, you're Val's kid?''

'' Yep. Now, the owner is out back by the venue you know where its is scum'' Raphael glared.

'' Hey, don't talk to her like that'' Austin defended.

'' Oh, and what're you going to do about it pretty boy. Your stupid ass chose love over his career, and for what? Her?''

What happened next was something Ally had never seen before, Austin, threatened someone.

'' Listen here egghead'' Austin said, in a happy yet scary whisper. Between myself and Ally we have 36 million INSTAGRAM followers and 15 million on Tweeter. One more word out of your mouth about her and I'll not only get you fired, but I may even start a rumor that you're a drug-lord. Got it?''

Raphael nodded in fear.

'' Glad we see eye to eye'' Austin smiled, as he and Ally left for the actual venue.

'' You just threatened a guy'' Ally commented.

'' He insulted the most amazing human being I know, he's lucky he still has all 32 teeth.''

Ally was taken back, she had never seen Austin get so… mean. Not only was it an intriguing sight to behold, but also a bit of a turn on.

Approaching a large gazebo area, the pair were met by Andrew and his 25 years younger than him wife; Alice.

'' Austin, good to see you, old sport'' Andre greeted, his thick British accent quite obvious.

'' Hi there Andrew'' Austin said, trying to not grit his teeth.

'' Ally, what exactly…are you wearing?'' Alice asked.

'' Uhm, clothes?'' Ally responded, not sure what her response should have been.

'' Oh sweetie, you're rich, you shouldn't be shopping at Old Navy, you should be at a Gucci store. Honestly, what would your parents say?'' Alice scoffed.

'' Nothing that bad'' Ally said, her eye twitching. She couldn't stand Andrew nor Alice, but the venue that had was exceptionally beautiful. Large forest green lawns surrounded a modern, eggshell-white gazebo.

'' So, what do you think of our amazing venue?'' Andrew smiled cockily.

'' Its gorgeous. I love the roof of the gazebo'' Ally commented.

'' Yes, I for one hated the eggshell, but Alice here wanted the shade so I agreed. Now, would you to like to take lunch here?'' Andrew asked.

'' Sure, I could eat'' Ally shrugged, following Alice towards the resort's dining hall.

As Andrew began to follow them, he was grabbed by Austin.

'' Mr. Moon, get your hands off me!''

'' I'm not blind pal, that roof's shade is new.''

'' A keen eye for detail I see'' Andre boasted, as Austin let go of him.

'' How much?'' Austin asked.

'' Austin dear boy, you can't put a price on your fiancée's happiness.''

'' Try me.''

'' Very well then, catering included, you should expect an invoice of 100 grand.''

'' Are you insane? No-one on earth is stupid enough to pay that. ''

'' Soon you'll see that this is just a small price to pay for a happy marriage.''

'' Yeah, well it's a price I'm not paying'' Austin glared, as he walked off.

-x-

'' That venue was amazing, too bad its owners are such awful people'' Ally said, as the pair pulled into their final stop, the Sunshine hotel. The area was quite secluded, which added to its charm. It wasn't as big as Poacher's Retreat but was still pretty sizeable. It was also mostly-family run meaning that there was always joy present in the area.

'' Uh huh'' Austin muttered.

'' Austin? What's wrong?''

Austin sighed. '' They upped the price.''

'' Why?''

'' That eggshell-coloration? Its new, catering included those two want 100 grand.''

'' For a few coats of paint? Not happening'' Ally responded, as the pair met with the owner of their final destination of the day.

Jack Simson was a young man, easily only two or three years older than Austin and Ally themselves. Despite his young age, he was exceptionally accomplished. With a degree is hospitality as well as two masters degrees in business and management respectively, he was quickly headhunted by the Sunshine hotel to manage their establishment.

'' Hey Jack'' Austin waved, as the pair approached the man.

'' Hey you two. Ally, looking beautiful as always, Austin, the Sorento looks awesome.''

'' Thanks man.''

'' No problem, so are you two ready for your final look-around?''

'' Absolutely'' the pair said in unison.

Jack took the pair to the hotel's famous venue. Whilst it was similar to Poacher's Retreat, in that it was outside and a grass area, it was different, in that it overlook the ocean, thus the area always had a faint sea breeze smell.

'' Well, you two, what do you think? Can the Sunshine hotel host the celebrity wedding reception of the century?'' Jack asked.

'' Well I love it. The seclusion from everyone is great, so the place won't be swarmed by reporters trying to get in. Also the ocean in the distance is a really cool addition'' Austin answered. '' I'm not sure how Ally will feel though, she hates the beach.''

'' Well Ally, what do you think?'' Jack raised an eyebrow.

'' I love it'' she sighed. '' The ocean, the breeze, the seclusion, the vibe, its all amazing, I can definitely see our reception being held out here. Price depending of course.''

'' Yeah, how much are you going to charge us?'' Austin asked, ready to just give up on a reception all together.

'' 25000 dollars. Catering included'' Jack answered, smiling. '' You guys may be celebrities, but I'm not charging you stupid amounts just for a reception.''

'' Well then, you have yourself a deal'' Austin shook the man's hand.

-x-

'' I've been thinking'' Ally said, later that night.

'' Oh yeah, what about?''

'' The church. I think it's a bad idea'' Ally answered, approaching the couch Austin was on.

'' How so? You were so excited that I already emailed their priest.''

'' Its just, I think it's a bad idea is all. My parents were married there and their marriage ended in divorce. I don't want that for us.''

'' Me neither, I never want to lose you again. But then where exactly did you want to get married then? I mean, I never thought of you as the kind of person who'd want to be married by an Elvis Impersonator.''

'' I'm not suggesting eloping'' Ally rolled her eyes. '' But I was thinking, if Jack's only charging us 25 thousand for the reception, and considering how nice the hotel is, wouldn't it make sense just to get married there? ''

Austin looked at Ally. '' You want this?''

'' Yes?'' Ally asked, confused.

'' Then you got it. I'll hit Jack up first thing tomorrow morning.''
