Must…stop...writing…must…go…outside. Oh wait, its 75 degrees outside, never mind.

Hey there Dravenites, welcome to chapter 5! So far we're almost at 200 views! That's amazing, thank you so much.

Also one more thing…there's a crossover in this chapter.

Now, without further adieu, I do believe we should jump right into the story, don't you?

By the end of March, both Austin and Ally had found some time to get back to planning their wedding, more specifically, telling their friends.

For some reason, it had slipped both their minds to tell their friends about their engagement. For Austin it wasn't that surprising, but when Ally realized the fact, from the look on her face, you'd have assumed she just found out that she had just been told that A&A Records' HQ; The Music Factory, had just burnt to the ground.

This led to both parties having organized, impromptu gatherings to spread the big news. With Ally taking her friends to a local cafe she and Austin had discovered a few years ago. It was also a staple with Ally and her friends, they'd usually go there whenever something important was going on or if something important was going to happen.

Currently, Ally found herself in the cafés outside area with a cup of Javanese imported ground roast coffee, whilst she waited for her friends. The young woman shivered slightly, for some reason, there was a cold wind in the air.

'' Ally, hi'' came a voice.

'' Carrie, so good to see you'' Ally squeezed her friend in a bone-crushing hug. '' How's the modelling going?''

'' Great. I already got signed by this guy called Kevin Korn I think?'' Carrie said, her head cocked to the side in confusion.

'' Calvin Klein?'' Ally corrected.

'' Yeah, that guy. He wants me to show off one of his new fragrances, it's called Delight and it smells just like fried chicken.''

'' I'm guessing you're wearing it'' Ally said, sniffing the air.

'' How'd you guess?'' Carrie gasped.

'' There are stray dogs following you'' Ally pointed to a large black canine close to them.

'' Oh, I thought that was a rat. Anyway, how're you, how do you like being a model yourself. You've always had the face for it'' Carrie asked, sitting down, in front of Ally.

'' Aww thanks Carrie. Honestly, I'm still getting used to it. I mean I love it, but it's just a new feeling is all.''

'' That goes away over time. Anyway, who else is meeting us here?''

'' That'd be me'' trilled a familiar voice.

'' Trish!'' Ally gasped, hugging her friend, and standing up again.

'' Ally! How goes it? I've missed you around the Music Factory.''

'' I still own it and visit it daily Trish, I just mad you its head of marketing and operations is all.''

'' Still…its so much work. All those kids, they make me want to march over to the nearest clinic and get my tubes tied.''

'' Trish!'' Carrie gasped. '' Go on a Thursday at least, that's usually half price day.''

'' Both of you stop, you're being ridiculous, look, yes some of those kids are…challenging, but when Austin and I started A&A Records, we left you in charge because you were the only marginally capable person we knew'' Ally defended.

'' Sheesh, sorry'' Trish muttered, sitting down with her arms folded.

'' Sorry, I'm…just a little stressed is all'' Ally said, exhaling loudly.

'' Oh its fine you workaholic you, but aren't we missing two people?'' Trish asked.

'' Yeah, Tammy and Ella if I remember'' Carrie said.

'' Tilly, and here I am!" the aforementioned woman said, appearing suddenly.

'' And Emma'' added the other person. Despite starting out as one of Austin's biggest groupies, the fashion designer had actually become great friends with both Austin and Ally. Emma in fact got Ally her first modelling job in Buenos Aires a few years ago.

'' Gah! You two move like you're ninjas'' Trish gasped.

'' Thanks, I think. Ally, so good to see you'' Tilly said, hugging her friend. Despite, their one-sided rivalry. In more recent years, Tilly had gone from being a psychotic stalker bent on revenge, to a more rational human being who just wanted to be Ally's friend more than anything else. Whilst it had taken some time, Ally now considered Tilly to be one of her closest and dearest friends.

'' You, too. How's the teaching going?'' Ally asked, as member of the group sat down.

'' Fine actually. I'm adoring those first graders of mine. They're so innocent and kind'' Tilly gushed.

'' Hey, I exist too ya know'' Emma spat.

'' We know Em, we know'' Ally smiled. '' How's the fashion designing going. Last time I checked you had a sold-out show in Milan?''

'' Yep. Those Italians can't speak English so fleecing them was easy.''

'' But they aren't idiots, how'd you get them to buy your clothes?'' Carrie asked.

'' Trade secret my dear Carrie. I-''

'''Begged?'' Trish deadpanned.

'' I, uh, yeah'' Emma said shamefully.

The group shared a laugh, despite them being very different people, they were as tightly knit as it got.

'' So Ally, spill it'' Trish ordered.

'' Excuse me?'' Ally refuted.

'' You never get together out of the blue, you always some some kind of ulterior motive. Now spill'' Trish explained.

'' Fine, don't overreact, but…''

Ally put her hand out, the other four women cupping their mouths to muffle their screams.

'' Oh my God, you're engaged?! That's so romantic, where'd he propose, when and how? I want details!'' Tilly said, in an extremely frightening voice.

'' Paris, a few months ago, in front of the Eiffel Tower'' Ally beamed, her mind wandering for a second.

'' I didn't think he had it in him'' Emma gasped. '' He seemed so, ok with you guys just remaining boyfriend/girlfriend. But regardless, congrats.''

'' Thanks, we're getting married in the last week of October. Trish, I was wondering if you'd be my maid of honor?''

'' Fuck yeah! Why wouldn't I? To be honest, I would've thrown a fit if you had asked any of the others to do it instead of me.''

'' Fine, and I was wondering if you guys would be my bridesmaids?'' Ally asked.

'' We'd love to. Hold on, waiter!'' Carrie snapped her fingers, a young attendant approaching.

'' Yes madam?'' he asked.

'' Your finest bottle of champagne and five glasses, my friend's getting hitched!''

The group were taken back, they weren't used to seeing Carrie get so…forceful.

'' That would be Golden Sunrise, it was brewed in a small farm in France in 1938, just before the Nazi occupation of Austria, it costs 900 dollars'' the waiter explained.

'' Huh. Never mind. Your cheapest bottle of champagne with 5 glasses'' Carrie stated plainly.

'' Certainly madam'' the waiter nodded, leaving soon afterwards.

'' While we wait'' Trish raised her fist, to simulate a glass. '' To Austin and Ally, power couple, best friends, partners, and soon-to-be husband and wife.''

'' Here, here.'' the group echoed.

On the other side of town, Austin was waiting for his group of friends to join him at one of his favorite bars; The sunken Galleon. As much as he enjoyed going out to drink at fancy places with four-syllable names, sometimes he just needed to relax at a normal place.

'' One bloody Mary, one the house'' a bartender said, sliding the drink over to Austin.

'' Thanks Reggie. Hey, business seems a bit slow tonight'' Austin responded, looking around at the small crowd in the area.

'' That damn nightclub Sullivan's across the street is killing me. Those idiots use mixologists and real alcohol and wear hairnets when cooking the food. Who does that? They sem to have forgotten that the whole point of owning a place like this is to have a good meal, get drunk and wake up the next morning with a complete stranger and no recollection as to who she is or how she got there!'' Reggie pouted.

'' Most people dude. Speaking of most people, hey Dez!'' Austin waved to the front door, where his best friend walked in and sat down at the bar next to him.

'' Austin! Hey bud, wow, this place is slow. That place across the street has way more customers than this place does.''

Reggie banged his fist onto a nearby shelf. '' Fucking Sullivan's!''

'' Don't…mention that place. So, how's Carrie doing, I heard she got some big deal with Calvin Klein?''

'' Yeah, she did. She's modelling some fragrance called Delight. It smells so great, the neighbor's dog keeps following her.''

'' Ok…'' Austin said, confused.

'' So, when are the others meeting us here? Seriously, this place gives me bad vibes man'' Dez said, scouting.

'' Not sure, Jace is always late, Trent is well…Trent and Xander's a total wildcard.''

'' Eh well, they shouldn't be too long, and even if they are, I'm here'' Dez smiled.

'' Ok…'' Austin said, mildly creeped out.'' So, how's filming your 4th Claws dun dun dun movie going?''

'' Terrific. Not only is Miami the perfect place to shoot it because of the beach but the castings also so much easier, I have almost all of Marino high begging to be in the movie. But hey, enough about me, how's the music going?''

'' Pretty good, I love helping people become superstars. Ally's an amazing head songwriter, 95% of her songs end up as Grammy nominated. Hell, most of that 95% even end up winning the award.''

'' Too bad you're too cheap to pay your dancers better'' came a familiar voice from behind Austin's back.

'' Trent! Dude, how are you?''

'' You see me everyday, but good. Dez, saw the Claws dun dun dun trailer. Looks fly.''

'' Thanks dude, sorry I didn't cast you.''

'' Its fine, I mean its not like you said you would then told me at the last minute you were finished casting'' Trent glared.

In more recent years, similar to Ally and Tilly, Trent had gone from being a deceitful and manipulative weasel into a more decent human being. He was still a smart mouth but to a lesser extent than previous. He had also started to date Tilly through a setup made by Austin and Ally.

'' Oh yeah, that. Sorry. But in my defense, the person who got your role was super qualified.''

'' They were an INSTAGRAM influencer man'' Trent protested.

'' Anyway…'' Austin interjected, '' we're still waiting for Jace and Xander.''

'' That's weird, knowing Xander he should've been here before I was, go figure'' Dez shrugged.

'' Yeah, also Jace, where is the guy?'' Trent asked.

Before the man could get an answer, a man in a blue uniform with the Greek symbol for medicine, bust through the door of the bar.

'' There's an emergency!'' he yelled.

'' Where? Is it Sullivan's If so it wasn't me'' Reggie defended.

'' I'm kidding, ah you guys are so easy'' the man laughed.

'' Dude, you scared us'' Austin smiled, shaking his friend's hand.

'' Hey, I needed some entertainment, mostly because I drove here with that guy'' Jace pointed his thumb behind him to Xander. Despite what many people thought, Austin hadn't invited Xander purely because he was Emma's boyfriend, but rather because he just liked Xander's cool vibes. Also, he was the only guy Austin knew who could out-riff him.

'' Excuse me, but free acoustic concerts are awesome!'' Xander defended.

'' Not when they're in an emergency vehicle they aren't. I was actually hoping we'd be stopped over, just to shut you up'' Jace refuted.

'' Easy you guys, let's not start something'' Austin said, again, defusing the situation.

'' Whatever, so Austin, why'd you call us. I feel like you've got something to tell us'' Xander winked.

'' Yeah, ever since he got together with Ally, he's way less spontaneous, its kind of a bummer'' Dez admitted.

'' Hey, I just grew up is all.''

'' Grew into a fun vacuum'' Trent muttered.

'' I heard that'' Austin grumbled. Eager to end his mini-roast, the man quickly changed the subject to the actual reason he summoned his friends.

'' So guys listen, I have something to tell you…I proposed to Ally.''

'' Congrats man, how'd she take it?'' Dez asked.

'' She said yes. The wedding's next October and I need you guys there, Dez as my best man, and Jace, Trent and Xander as my groomsmen. So, are you in?''

'' Hell yeah! I'm going to throw you the greatest bachelor party of all time'' Dez said, patting Austin on the back.

'' I'm in, gives me a chance to finally outdrink Trish'' Jace shrugged.

'' Its been four years dude, its not gonna happen'' Xander said, patting him on the back.

'' Soon'' Jace muttered.

'' How about you guys, Trent? Xander?''

'' Hell yeah my dude! It'll be epic. Right trophy-boyfriend?'' Trent looked at Xander.

'' Two things. 1. I'm not a trophy boyfriend, and 2, I'm in.''

'' Well then, in that case. Reggie! Five Manhattans'' Austin called.

The following weekend saw both Austin and Ally visiting the Sunshine hotel to meet with Jack in regard to the food at their wedding. The pair had decided that they weren't interested in hiring a caterer when the Sunshine hotel already provided catering for only an extra five grand.

The pair walked into the banquet hall where they were supposed to meet Jack. Close to them was a large table with numerous dishes in front of it, a pitcher of water sat in the center, presumably to be used as a palette cleanser.

'' Man it smells good here'' Austin sighed, sniffing the air.

'' I'll say, pinch me I must be dreaming-ow!'' Ally yelped.

'' What? You said to.''

'' I didn't mean it literally. God, you can be dense sometimes. Although, look at all of it, fish, chicken, seafood, beef'' Ally's mouth began to water.

'' Wow, fighting even before the marriage starts, kinda makes me happy to still be a bachelor'' Jack said, emerging from a separate doorway.

'' Jack, good to see you. What, what is all this?'' Austin asked.

'' Well Austin here's the thing. Here at the Sunshine hotel, we believe in letting our customers taste the food they'll be having at their special day. Now, since we don't know what you like, I had our chef make a small version of every main course we have.''

'' Wow, this is like a dream come true'' Austin gushed.

'' Yeah yeah, its nice, gimmee!'' Ally barked, running to the table.

Austin stood there amazed.

'' Your fiancée really is one of a kind'' Jack pointed out.

'' Yeah she is'' Austin beamed.

'' Well, I have to go check up on the rest of the hotel, I'll be back in an hour.''

-x-

'' Well, you two, how was it?'' Jack asked, an hour later.

'' I, can't…move'' Austin panted.

'' Me, neither. Although for more of your prime rib, I could make an exception'' Ally moaned.

'' Aww, flattery. Alright my little over-eaters, what're you thinking?''

'' Well, I have to say, we were completely blown away by your prime rib, I have to ask, how to you marinade your meat?'' Ally asked.

'' Trade secret. But good that you want rib, but what else do you want, we have to have a vegetarian option by ethical conduct'' Jack answered.

'' Well, as much as we love your chicken, we'll have to go for your salmon fillet in a light lemon sauce reduction. We'd also like those roasted vegetables but instead of a savory gravy, could we get a butter-garlic combination?'' Austin asked.

'' Absolutely. I love our fish, not many people choose it, but I stand by it. Mark my words you two, this will be unforgettable!''

Weird how descriptive I get about food. AH well, thanks for reading everyone, as of the time of the end card, we're almost at 200 views, that's incredible! As usual, stay safe, and stay awesome!
